Sector V and the Carpet went further into the cave, arriving at a lagoon, where a tall pillar lay in the center, with a staircase going up to it. At the top of the pillar is a beam of light.
"Walt here." Numbuh 5 whispered to her team, then began to cross the stones that serve a bridge.
Numbuh 4 humped as he crossed his arms, but noticed a golden shrine in the shape of boy holding a red jewel, which wasn't just any jewel. It was...
"A Cherry Supreme!" Numbuh 4 exclaimed, hypnotically drawn towards it.
Meanwhile, Numbuh 5 had crossed over to the pillar, where she cautiously walked up the steps.
As Numbuhs 2 & 3 watched, the Carpet tapped them by the shoulders, pointing at Numbuh 4 slowly walking towards the Cherry Supreme.
Numbuh 3 shrieked at what she was seeing while Numbuh 2 and the Carpet tried to hold Numbuh 4 back.
"No! No, no, no, no, no, no!" Numbuh 2 protested.
While this was happening, Numbuh 5 had reached the top of the pillar, where she saw the lamp bathed in the bright light.
She picked up the lamp and examined it. "This is what we came down here for?"
She, then, looked down to see Numbuh 4 break free from Numbuh 2 and the Carpet's hold and ran towards the Cherry Supreme.
"Numbuh 4! NO!" Numbuh 5 cried.
But it was already too late. Numbuh 4 had taken the Cherry Supreme from the shrine's head and was about to lick it when the angry voice of tiger god bellowed. "Infidels!"
"Ah, crud." Numbuh 4 said, realizing his mistake.
Numbuh 2 palmed his face while Numbuh 3 placed her hand on her forehead as the voice of the tiger god spoke. "You have touched the forbidden treasure."
Numbuh 4 chuckled nervously as he put the Cherry Supreme back where it was. "Oops."
But the damage was already done, for both the Cherry Supreme and the shrine started to melt into lava in front of him.
"Now you will never again see the light of day!" the tiger god howled as the cave around them started to crumble.
Seeing that Numbuh 5 needs help, Numbuhs 2 & 3 hopped onto the Carpet and took off, leaving behind Numbuh 4, who called. "Hey!"
Numbuh 5 put the lamp underneath her cap, then raced down the steps, but they flatten into a ramp, which she slid down until she flew into the air, seeing that the water has turned into lava.
But just Numbuh 5 fell towards it, the Carpet, holding Numbuh 2 & 3, appeared, catching her.
Numbuh 4 tried to catch up by hopping through the stones, stopping himself when he saw them explode one by one.
"Numbuh 4!" called Numbuh 3.
Numbuh 2 steered the Carpet towards Numbuh 4, who called. "Come on, you can't just leave me...AHHHH!"
As he screamed, two more stones exploded in front and behind him, with the last one about to do the same.
"HELP!" Numbuh 4 cried, waving his hands, which Numbuh 5 took, pulling him up, saying. "Gotcha!"
The lava churned, sending a wave after them.
"Fast, you floating rug! Faster!" Numbuh 4 demanded panically.
The Carpet flew them out through the cave, dodging walls and falling debris.
Numbuhs 2, 3, & 4 held on tightly to Numbuh 5, who protested. "Will you guys cool off? This ain't no time to panic."
As she freed herself, Numbuh 5 saw that they were heading towards a wall.
"Can we start panicking...NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOW?!" Numbuh 2 screamed as the Carpet dove back into the treasure chamber, where everything, from the gold to the jewels, were melting.
Outside, the cave started to growl and close its mouth, toward which Sector V rode the Carpet, when a boulder dropped, sending Numbuhs 2 & 3 and the Carpet back down while Numbuhs 4 & 5 held onto the crumbling edge of the cave, where they could see Numbuh 392 in front of them.
"Help us out!" called Numbuh 5.
"Throw me the lamp!" Numbuh 392 called back.
"We'll give you to ya once you get us outta here!" called Numbuh 4.
"First, give me the lamp!" repeated Numbuh 392.
Numbuh 5 groaned as she pulled the lamp out from behind her cap and held it up to Numbuh 392, who cackled with glee once he got his hands on it.
"Yes! At last!"
As he tucked the lamp inside his cloak, Numbuh 392 saw Numbuhs 4 and 5 managing to climb out of the cave, shoving them back in, but reached out for Numbuh 5's dress.
"What are you doing?" asked Numbuh 5.
"Giving you your reward..." Numbuh 392 said, his face turning from eccentric...to sinister as Jafar held her over the cave's mouth, saying. "Your eternal reward.
But before Jafar could drop Numbuh 5, Numbuh 4 hit his foot with the cane.
Jafar yowled as he let go of Numbuh 5, who fell into the cave, grabbing Numbuh 4, whom he threw down as well.
"Numbuh 4!" gasped Numbuh 3.
"Numbuh 5!" cried Numbuh 2.
They pulled the Carpet out of the boulder, then flew up to catch their friends, although Numbuh 5 was already unconscious from hitting the wall several times.
Back on the surface, the cave roared one final time, then dissolved into the sand in front of Jafar, who chuckled wickedly.
"It's mine! It's all mine!" he said, pulling off his fake beard and digging through his cloak. "I...lost it? How?"
Realizing Sector V still had the lamp, Jafar cried in anguish. "NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!"
