Hello everyone I'm back once again to bring you another chapter of my story; I'm so glad this story is so popular. I ain't gonna lie this one is so popular for being so new maybe after this one I should make one of a NarutoxOc story; like what is A the Raikage had a daughter and her and Naruto fell in love during the chunin exams. Imagine Naruto getting an older muscular waifu like Rumi from MHA, Noi from Dorohedoro, or Daidoji from Senran Kagura; an older physically stronger girl falling for a younger/smaller boy because he's nice and doesn't know when to quit. I'm getting off track; let's begin the chapter.
Mist and Maelstroms: Chapter 3
Training ground: 3 days before the Chunin exams
"Water Style: Water Vortex Jutsu" Naruto shouted as he stood in the middle of the lake; just then a vortex of water formed and was sent to the other side of the lake where 4 dummies were positioned. The vortex then slammed into the dummies ripping them apart; Naruto smiled and turned to the shore line where Mei and Ao were standing.
"Mei" Naruto shouted "how was that" he shouted; Mei waved and spoke.
"That was perfect Naruto" Mei said "come back to the shore; I think we're good for the day" she shouted. Naruto said 'OK' and began to walk back to shore; Mei however was feeling her heart start to beat faster.
Since she had that dream 2 weeks ago, she can't shake it from her head; she has tried may things. She told Naruto to stop calling her sensei; she tried to tell Naruto how good of a student he was with a heavy emphasis on 'student' but nothing worked.
'Mei what's wrong with you' she thought 'he's 8 years younger than you; he'll find the idea gross" she thought. Ao seeing her in discomfort spoke up.
"Lady Mei" he spoke "is everything ok" he asked and Mei flinched.
"Ao… uhhh" Mei stuttered as she looked flustered "I uhhh…" she began; Naruto then arrived and she looked at him flustered.
"Alright" Naruto cheered "I'm totally ready to take on the chunin exams; I know I am, so what next huh? Ramen? Movies? How about- "Naruto began until Mei interrupted.
"Sorry Naruto I have to go" Mei said "I have to talk to the hokage about something; lets go eat ramen later ok" she said.
"Ok that's fine have fun Mei" Naruto said smiling; Mei felt her heart squeeze. She then vanished in a swirl of water. "Well, it's just you and me Ao" Naruto said and Ao shook his head.
"Sorry Naruto I have to go and handle some business myself; I apologize" he said and Naruto understood; Ao then vanished in a swirl of water leaving Naruto alone.
"Hmmm Mei is acting kinda weird" Naruto said he then had a idea "I know she's probably feeling a little sad that the training is coming to an end; I'll go get her something to cheer her up" Naruto said as he ran out of the training grounds.
Konoha streets
'What would make Mei feel better' Naruto thought 'man I don't know jack about women; what can I get her' he thought.
"Hey Naruto" a voice came; Naruto turned and saw Kiba walking towards him with 2 women by his side.
"Kiba hey" Naruto said walking toward his old academy classmate "what are you doing here" he asked and Kiba huffed.
"I'm out with my mom and my sister shopping" KIba said "or more like I'm the one that's goig to carry all the bags while they shop" he said and Naruto nodded. Naruto then looked at both women by his side and then looked around.
"Uhh where's your mom Kiba" Naruto said confused "I see your sisters but not your mom" he said and Kiba looked at him crazy.
"My mom is right here" Kiba said pointing to the woman on his left; Kiba's mom had the red fang tattoos on her cheeks, short spikey brown hair and purple lipstick on.
"What" Naruto shouted "no way she's your mom; she's too pretty and looks too young to be your mom" he said and Kiba began to laugh.
"Hahaha… my mom, pretty" Kiba laughed "get your eyes checked p- "Kiba didn't finish as he was hit on the head and sent to the ground.
"Shut it runt" Tsume yelled; she then looked to Naruto with a bright and warm smile "I'm Tsume by the way and thank you for the complement, Naruto; I try to stay in shape and look my best, 36 years old and I can still turn heads" Tsume said doing a pose. The other woman rolled her eyes and looked at Naruto.
"I'm Kiba's sister Hana" Hana said "sorry my brother is kinda an idiot" she said and Naruto nodded.
"Well nice to meet you both" Naruto said "sorry I can't talk I- wait hold up" Naruto paused before looking at the 2 women. "Wait I have a question for the both of you" Naruto said and both women looked at him.
"Ok what is it" Hana asked.
"You're both are hot, older women" Naruto said bluntly.
"Yes, we are please continue" they both said not hiding their blushes at the complement.
"I'm looking to get a present for someone; she's super strong, but also very pretty and nice" Naruto said "what do you think she would like to make her feel better; I think she's a little sad" he said.
Tsume looked thoughtful for a moment "you can never go wrong with flowers" Tsume said "my late hubby used to buy me flowers every week until he passed" she said remembering her late husband.
"Oh you can get her, her favorite food too" Hana said "and does she drink alcohol" she asked and Naruto nodded. "Well then buy her some Sake too; strawberry and blueberry are my favorite, because I like sweets" she said.
"Ok; flowers, food, sake. Got it" Naruto said with a smile "thanks for the help Tsume, Hana; have an awesome day" he said running off.
"Hot older woman huh" Tsume said looking in a shop window "you know what; maybe I should get back in the game. Probably can land a new hubby if I tried" Tsume said.
"I'm not sure if he was hitting on us or just really clueless about what he says" Hana said "but he did make me feel good from the complement" Hana said smiling. "Hey mom lets go do some cloths shopping; you know style ourselves a little" Hana said and Tsume nodded.
"Great idea" Tsume said before picking up Kiba who just regained consciousness "let's go runt we got shopping to do; first lingerie then some dresses" Tsume said as she then dragged her protesting son.
"Damnit Naruto" Kiba shouted "you just made my day worse" he yelled as he was dragged away.
Yamanaka flower shop
Ino was manning the counter as usual; her team was done for the day and she still had her shift.
"Ugghhhh so bored" Ino said as she then heard the shop door bell chime "welcome to Yamanaka flowers; how can I help you" she said bored.
"Hey Ino, how's it going" Naruto said; Ino looked at Naruto and saw he looked almost completely different. He no longer wore his bright orange jumpsuit; he wore a black muscle shirt, black pants and carried a sword that was bigger than he was.
"Huh Naruto" Ino said surprised "holy hell your jumpsuit is gone; and your arms are bigger, what happened" she asked and Naruto chuckled.
"Oh I've been training with a badass" Naruto said while grinning "speaking of which I'm thinking of getting her some flowers; what do you think would be good for her" he asked and Ino looked thoughtful.
"What is she like" Ino asked.
"She's super strong, pretty, nice and everything in between" Naruto said "I want to get her something to cheer her up and let her know I care" Naruto said.
"Oh a older woman huh" Ino said with a raised eyebrow "who would've thought" Ino said making Naruto look confused on how she phrased it. "I think I got just the thing" Ino said as she ran around the shop getting flowers; she then came back with a bouquet of 4 different flowers.
"Ok I got Alstroemeria's, Aster's, Azalea's and Camellia's" Ino said handing the flowers to Naruto "these should do the job" she said with a wink.
"Great" Naruto chirped "how much do I owe" Naruto asked and Ino stopped him.
"On the house Naruto" Ino said with a smile "you can't put a price on flowers for someone special" Ino said and Naruto smiled. Naruto then hugged Ino.
"Thanks, Ino you're the best" Naruto said before going to the exit "I'll catch you later" he said before exiting the shop.
Ino then immediately went over to the phone and dialed in a number "Hinata guess what just happened" Ino said exicted as she now has new gossip to spread.
Hokage's office
Hiruzen and Ao were looking at Mei wide eyed as she blushed and fidgeted in her seat; Hiruzen then picked his ears and looked back at her.
"I'm sorry Mei can you repeat that" Hiruzen said making sure he wasn't going senile.
"I think I have a crush on Naruto" she said sheepishly; the 2 men just stood there quiet "say something" she said.
"Naruto" Hiruzen said and Mei nodded.
"Naruto Uzumaki" Ao repeated and Mei nodded again.
"The same Naruto you have been training for the past month or so" Hiruzen said and Mei nodded furiously.
"Yes, damn it" she said embarrassed; Hiruzen then looked to the window and felt it.
'Well hell hasn't froze over' he thought 'how the hell did Naruto pull this off; well, this is the same kid who beat me with the sexy jutsu, stole the scroll of sealing and saved a country' he thought.
"What do I do" Mei said worriedly "I'm 21 and he's 13; I know he's technically a legal adult when he becomes a shinobi" she said. "But why do I feel like this" she said slamming her head on the Hokage's desk.
"I honestly don't think I'm qualified to handle this" Hiruzen said in defeat as a rain cloud formed over Mei's head.
"I mean if you… like him why don't you- "Ao began before Mei shot up.
"What if he thinks it's gross" Mei said "what if he says no, it'll ruin one of my best friendships. I mean a sensei and student what kind universe is that ok" she asked.
In an alternate universe
Minato Namikaze was washing dishes when he heard the door open.
"Daddy" a 4-year-old Naruto shouted as he ran towards him with his arms open.
"Papa" a 3-year-old brunette girl shouted as she ran toward him.
"Naruto, Orihime; come here" he said as he hugged both his children.
"Hey honey" Rin said as she closed the door behind her "good day at the office" she asked.
"Yep" Minato said "Kakashi and Obito are doing fine; sent them out on another mission to grass country" he said. Rin then walked to him and kissed him on the lips.
"Well I'm glad you're day was great; because it's about to get better" Rin said which made Minato curious.
"How so" Minato asked and Naruto piped up.
"Momma is having another baby" Naruto said happily.
"New baby" Orihime said jumping up and down.
"Really Rin" Minato asked happily.
"Yep I got another one in the oven" she said "I think if it's a girl we should name it after Kushina" she said and Minato nodded.
"I'm sure she'd like that" Minato said touching her belly 'I hope you are happy up there Kushina' Minato thought. 'I was able to find someone to help me raise our son; I hope you can rest easy' Minato thought with a small smile.
Later on, at the Hotel
"Fuuuuck" Mei groaned as Ao looked on helpless as she walked to her room like a zombie.
"Mei it's ok" Ao said "maybe just- "he began until Mei stopped him.
"Please Ao don't" Mei said putting her key in the door and opened it "I don't want to think about- Naruto what are you doing here" Mei shouted in surprise.
"Hey Mei" Naruto said getting up "I know why you are feeling sad" Naruto said making her and Ao's stomach drop. "You are sad out training is coming to an end; but don't worry I won't ever leave you" Naruto said with a grin.
"Wait what" Mei said in confusion; Naruto the went up to her and handed her a bouquet of flowers.
"I got you these to show how much I care about you" he said "I also got you sushi, Takoyaki and a bottle of Sake" Naruto said handing her both the box and bottle. "I hope you stop feeling down; and if you do, you know where I live" Naruto said going to the window "well I gotta go; see you tomorrow" he said before jumping out.
Mei looked down and started crying anime tears "Ao" she said sniffling.
'God damn it boy" he thought as he pinched the bridge of his nose.
The next day at night: 2 days before the Chunin Exams
Naruto and Ao were walking to the training ground; Mei was not feeling well, maybe it was the Sushi.
"So what are we doing again" Naruto asked and Ao looked at him.
"Something special" Ao said; Naruto grew a little nervous; Ao then stopped "keep walking until you see the camp fire; I'm not allowed witness 'it'" he said. Naruto nodded and continued walking; after a while he saw up ahead a camp fire and what looked like 12 people standing around it.
"Huh Chojuro" Naruto said spotting his friend "what are you doing here" he asked.
"I'm here for your initiation" Chojuro said making Naruto confused.
"Huh for what" he asked.
"You have been recommended and chosen to become one of the Seven Ninja swordsman" a tall blue man said "I'm Kisame Hoshigaki; S-Class rogue ninja and wieldier of the Samehada" he said. Naruto immediately got scared.
"Wait if you're a criminal how did you get into the leaf" he said and he heard a chuckle.
"Your village security sucks" said another man "I'm Raiga; A-class missing nin and wielder of the Kiba blades" he said walking into the light.
"We are all here to give you an option Naruto" a 80 something year old man "for you to join our elite organization; as a brother" he said.
"But I'm not from Kiri" Naruto said and he heard Kisame laugh.
"In the beginning only one of the 7 swordsman was from Kiri; 3 were from Iwa, 1 was from Kumo, 1 was from Uzu and one was from Taki" he said.
"The 7 swordsmen know no bounds Naruto" Raiga said "no matter where you go, or what you do, you will always be part of a brotherhood of swordsman. From the day you enter to the day you die" he said.
"You live and die by the sword Naruto" Chojuro said "me and these men are all the current or retired swordmen; we have a rich and long history Naruto, and we want you to be the next beginning in a new story' he said. "What do you say" he asked "join us and be a brother or reject and fade into obscurity" he asked.
Naruto looked down for a moment; all his life he wanted to be acknowledged, he said he wanted to be hokage to be admired by the village and be respected. These men here were offering him a place to belong; to be acknowledged for something he worked his ass off for. Naruto looked up with determination.
"I'll join you" Naruto said; Chojuro, Kisame and Raiga smiled.
"Ok brat" Kisame said "take off your shirt and place your sword in front of you" he said; Naruto nodded and complied.
Kisame then handed him a bowl of a black liquid "drink it" he said; Naruto took it and downed it in one gulp. The world then went from illuminated to pitch black.
Just then the fire re-ignited and Naruto saw a man sitting in front of him; he had brown skin and was covered in tattoos.
"Welcome boy" he said in a deep voice "you have chosen a path not many choose to take; the path of a swordsman, the path of the warrior. Remember the sword is not good nor evil, it only follows the wielders commands; respect it for the sword can as easily kill you as the enemy" he said before getting up.
"Wait who are you" Naruto asked; the man chuckled.
"I have no name; I'm am the first swordsman of Kiri" he said making Naruto's eyes go wide "I am only here to give you the speech I said hundreds of times to hundreds of men" he said. "Goodbye young Uzumaki; Kushina and Minato would be proud of you" he said.
"Wait who" Naruto said but the man stepped into the fire causing an explosion and blinding Naruto.
Naruto then fell back and looked around as he saw "Chojuro, Kisame, Raiga and the other staring at him with shark tooth smiles.
"Well shit you passed his inspection" Kisame said "welcome to the 7 swordsmen" he said helping Naruto up.
"3 cheers for Naruto; the Maelstrom of Konoha and the wielder of the executioners' blade" Chojuro said; just then all the remaining men cheered and welcomed Naruto.
"Take a look kid" Raiga said pulling out one of his swords to act as a mirror "smile" he said.
Naruto did and saw his front teeth were now shark like "holy crap my teeth" he said "they look rad as fuck" he said licking them.
"Hey kid one more thing" Kisame said pulling out a scroll "as tradition you can sign the shark summoning contract if you want; just write your name and then you can summon sharks anywhere there is water" Kisame said.
"Woah really" Naruto said and Kisame nodded.
"Yep, here are the hand signs" Kisame said showing Naruto the hand signs.
"Ok" Naruto said cutting his thumb on the executioners' blade and signing his name "so what now" Naruto asked and Chojuro spoke up.
"Now with this done our ceremony is adjourned" he said "let go and get some ramen Naruto" he said and he and Naruto darted off.
"Heh funny brat" Kisame said "I can't wait to see him in action in the future" Kisame said and Raiga nodded.
"You came from the east right" he asked and Kisame nodded "so did I lets walk back halfway and then split up" he said.
"Sounds like a plan" Kisame said.
"Let's go Ranmaru" Raiga said to his backpack.
"Ok Raiga" Ranmaru said inside his back pack making Kisame go wide eyed.
"Did you backpack just talk" Kisame asked.
A few hours later and a couple dozen miles east of Konoha
Kisame and Raiga were walking down the road to the east when a murder of crows formed in the middle of the road.
"Kisame" Itachi said "who is your friend" he asked and Kisame smiled.
"One of my brothers" he said "what's up" he said.
"We have our orders" Itachi said "we have a target in Konoha we need to capture" he said and both Raiga and Kisame looked at him wide eyed.
"Really" Kisame asked "who" he said.
"The host of the 9 tails; Naruto Uzumaki" he said making both Kisame and Raiga flinch.
"Blonde hair, blue eyes, whicker marks" Raiga asked and Itachi looked at him suspiciously.
"Yes" Itachi said "how did you know" he asked; just then Raiga pulled out both of his Kiba blades and Kisame pulled his Samehada and unwrapped it.
"Itachi" Kisame said to the mans Surprise "I'm sorry it has to end like this" Kisame said. "Raiga; you don't have to be here if you don't want to" he said and Raiga laughed.
"Oh, I want to" Raiga said "Ranamru get ready; let's give him a proper funeral" he said.
"Yes Raiga" Ranamru said from inside his bag.
"Very well Kisame" Itachi said activating his sharingan "lets do this; old friend" Itachi said.
