Hello again everyone I'm back once again to bring you another chapter of my story; I hope you all are enjoying it and please continue reading my work. Now with nothing else to say lets begin.
Mist and Maelstroms: Chapter 6
With Itachi, Kisame and Raiga: Root Secret Base
"Itachi… wait please" Danzo begged "everything I did was for the good of the village; don't- "Danzo began to say before he got decapitated by Itachi. All around Itachi was the 100 or so dead bodies of Danzo's root anbu; Itachi told Hiruzen that he was under orders from Danzo to kill the Uchiha in exchange for protection for his brother.
"Well, it nice to get the blood pumping again" Kisame said as he put Samehada on his shoulder "so why did we need to kill all these guys again" Kisame asked and Raiga spoke up.
"Yeah, all this seems pretty unnecessary" Raiga said wiping blood off his swords "but I'm not complaining; it was pretty fun" he said with a smile.
"Danzo would've been a hinderance in our plans down the line" Itachi said "besides I despised him for what he did to Shisui; if he did not get in the way of our original plan to stop the coup, if he didn't my clan would be around and I wouldn't've had to become a rogue ninja" Itachi said and Kisame and Raiga nodded.
"Oh well; what's done is done" Kisame said "so when're you going to the doctor for your lung thing" Kisame said and Itachi shook his head.
"Don't know" Itachi said "last time I went I was told there was nothing they could do" Itachi said.
"Well," Raiga said "live everyday like your last" he said.
"I'm going to scavenge everything I can from here" Itachi said "I'm taking the sharingans Danzo had; feel free to take anything else you want" he said.
Raiga lit up like a Christmas tree "alright free shit" he said as he began to scavenge from the dead.
"I'm good" Kisame said "I'm going back to the hide out; see you 2 later" Kisame said as he disappeared in a swirl of water.
With Naruto, Sasuke and Sakura
Naruto, Sasuke and Sakura have been running through the forest for about an hour now; Naruto has been looking around and he likes what he sees. The ground was damp enough for him to get water from to perform jutsu's; this along with the humid air would prove valuable in the case he wants to ambush someone.
He then saw both Sasuke and Sakura go to ground level and he followed "what's the holdup" he said impatiently.
"Shut it loser" Sasuke snapped "we need to find a team and get a scroll; all we were doing is running through the forest" he said.
"No shit Sherlock" Naruto said "if we keep moving through the forest, we'll run into someone; so, lets keep moving" he said.
"You can't boss us around idiot" Sakura screeched "you- "Sakura didn't get any further as Naruto slapped her across the face.
"Stop screeching damnit" Naruto snapped "if you keep being so damn loud you're going to lure everyone in the vicinity to us" he said angrily. "Fuck this I'm going to take a piss" Naruto said walking into the bushes "stay still and shut up" Naruto said.
Sakura getting up rubbed her stinging cheek 'did he just hit me' Sakura thought 'Naruto has never done that before' she thought. She was used to Naruto being the submissive punching bag and never fighting back; now she realized that this was not the same Naruto she went to the academy with.
"Damn loser" Sasuke said "where does he get off on telling us what to do" he said. "No matter what kind of training he's done he's still the dead last dope we know; we don't- "he began until something flew out of the bushed towards them.
Both Sakura and Sasuke were on guard as they were expecting an attack; however, what they saw made their stomachs churn. The upper body of a rain genin in a white body suit and a breathing devise; Naruto then walked out a few second later with his bloody sword on his shoulder.
"Bastard" Naruto said "sneaking up on a guy when taking a piss is pretty low; is nothing sacred anymore" he said as he knelt down and began rummaging through the corpse. "*Sigh* Some kunai, explosive tags but no scroll; damn" Naruto said getting back up "oh well maybe next time" he said before he looked at Sasuke and Sakura.
"See what I mean; lets move and keep your big trap shut Sakura" Naruto said; Sakura was about to say something but Naruto took a step towards her scaring her back. "Let's go" he said as he jumped into the trees with Sasuke and Sakura following behind him.
'Oh god I have to put up with this shit for 5 days' Naruto thought 'I wonder what Mei is doing; I hope she's ok' he thought.
With Mei in a tavern by the road.
"- and now I'm going back to Kiri to be made Mizukage while he's participating in the chunin exams" Mei said as she sat at the table "Am I crazy to believe that we could be together with our age gap. While we can't do anything sexual together yet, we can date and stuff; I'm so conflicted, what should I do" she said putting her head down.
"Nonsense" Yugito Nii said slamming her drink down "if you like him nothing should stop you; from what it sounds like you love him and he respects you. I say go for it" she said folding her arms.
"I agree with " Kurotsuchi said "I personally don't see the age gap thing as a problem; if anything it'll make you seem more enticing to him" she said and Mei looked at her hopeful.
"You really think so" Mei said with a small smile.
"Of course," Fu said eating a piece of dango "I mean look at you; long hair, big boobs, pretty face. If he rejects you, he's stupid… or possibly gay" she said making Mei and the other girl's chuckle.
Yugito then looked at her "and even if he does reject you, it's better than not telling him; because nothing hurts worse than words left unsaid" she said and Mei smiled.
"You know what girls" she said "You're all right; next time I see Naruto I'll tell him how I feel. And even if he rejects me, I'll never give up our friendship" she said proudly.
"To Mei and Naruto" Fuu cheered as all the women clinked their glasses together.
At another table A, Ao, Kitsuchi and Shibuki all sat around waiting for the conversation to end.
"I literally stopped for 3 minutes to take a piss" A said "now I've been here for 20 minutes while Yugito talks to that Mei of yours" he said to Ao.
"Think of it as building foreign relations" Ao said taking a sip of tea "besides once women begin to talk you can kiss your schedule goodbye" he said.
"I think that Kurotuchi girl is kinda cute" Shibuki said "do you know if she's single" he asked Kitsuchi.
"That's my daughter" he said in a warning tone "stay away from her Taki boy" he said making Shibuki shrink a little.
Back with Naruto
"4 hours and only got ambushed once" Naruto said to himself "man this test is boring" he said as he and his 'team' continued walking in the forest.
Sasuke was constantly looking around for threats while Sakura stayed in between Sasuke and Naruto; even after one month of training she's still a scared little fan girl.
"Hey what do you say we set up camp" Naruto said looking at Sakura and Sasuke "it's beginning to get dark so we should- "Naruto did not finish his sentence as a giant gust of wind blew him into the forest.
"Holy hell" Naruto shouted as he flew through the air; Naruto then grabbed his sword and swing it. Naruto got lucky and the sword stuck into a tree keeping him still; luckily, he was pumping chakra through his muscles to increase his grip.
When the wind died down Naruto pulled his sword free and landed on the ground 'what the hell was- 'Naruto began to think until he had to dodge an attack. Naruto looked at his attacker and pales as it was a giant snake "oh you gotta be shitting me" Naruto shouted.
The snake the swung it's tail at Naruto; Naruto dodged and went through hand signs 'Water Style: Water bullets' Naruto then fires several dozen water bullets out of his mouth at the snake. The jutsu hit the snake but had little effect; the snake then spat out a giant glob of poison at Naruto who dodged once again.
"Damn all I did was piss it off" Naruto said to himself as he ran through the trees; Naruto then went through hand signs 'Water Style: Water clone' Naruto then created 10 water clones and they all split up as the snake chased after him.
As the Snake neared it bit down with its fangs stabbing Naruto with then; just then the water clone turned back into water leaving the snake confused.
Naruto and his 9 other clones came from both above and below the snake; Naruto aimed at one of the eyes and with a slash blinded the giant snake. The snake hissed in pain as it thrashed violently; 3 more clones were destroyed but the other continued fighting.
Some clones were able to cut the snakes belly while several others jumped on the snakes back and began to chop away.
"Ok then" Naruto shouted as he jumped high in the air holding his sword above his head; Naruto came down at a fact arc while pumping chakra through his arms and sword. Naruto with all his power slashed down vertically on the snakes' head; Naruto's sword cut the snakes head in half in a spray of blood that got onto Naruto.
The snake then fell to the ground and Naruto began to wipe the blood from his face a he was now soaked "ewww gross" Naruto said spitting out blood that got in his mouth. "Oh god I need to rinse after this" he said "now… lets go and find the bastard and the banshee" Naruto said as he ran off back the way he came flying from.
With Sasuke and Sakura
Sasuke was fighting against a disguised Orochimaru and was getting his ass kicked; Sasuke threw a punch but it was easily caught.
"Sasuke how you disappoint me" Orochimaru said flipping the boy and slamming him into the ground "you are nowhere near Itachi's level" he said with a smirk. Sasuke hearing his brother's name became enraged.
"What do you know about Itachi huh" Sasuke shouted as he got back up and attempted to fight the rogue sanin who was just toying with him.
"Well Sasuke you'll need to beat me and find out" he said before kicking Sasuke away several yards; Sasuke smacked into a tree with a cowering Sakura hiding away.
Sakura looking at the fight knew she had no chance if Sasuke was being beaten; she then saw Orochimaru start slowly walking towards her and Sasuke. Just then a thick mist began to cover the area.
"So, you were the one who summoned the snake huh" Naruto's voice echoed through the mist; Sasuke and Sakura seeing this both had flashbacks to their time in wave with Zabuza. "That snake of yours tried to kill me" Naruto said "but size isn't what matters in a fight you know" he said.
Orochimaru looking around began to chuckle "why don't you come out and fight me then brat" Orochimaru said bringing out his Kusanagi out from hi mouth "or are you too scared to face me" he said.
"I'm already here" Naruto said from behind Orochimaru startling him; Naruto swung his sword at Orochimaru attempting to cleave him in half. Orochimaru used his sword to block the attack; Orochimaru was surprised by the force behind the hit.
"Clever boy" Orochimaru said before he kicked Naruto away; Naruto then took off back into the mist. "Using hit and run tactics on a superior opponent; very smart" Orochimaru said "but unfortunately for you; I'm a veteran of the second great shinobi war" Orochimaru said as he extended his arm and grabbed Naruto out of the mist holding him by the neck. "I've dealt with this kind of combat before" Orochimaru said raising his sword to stab the boy.
'Fire Style: Fire ball Jutsu' Sasuke then launched a fireball at Orochimaru and Naruto; Sasuke didn't care that Naruto was in the way all that mattered is that he took out Orochimaru.
Naruto seeing this substituted with a piece of wood and landed a few yards away "what the hell bastard" Naruto shouted "you almost cooked me with that weirdo there" he yelled.
"Shut it loser" Sasuke snapped "why should I care about- "Sasuke began until Orochimaru sunk his fangs into his neck as a curse mark began to form.
Orochimaru's head then went back to his body "how merciless Sasuke; willing to sacrifice a comrade to save yourself. You will make an excellent addition" he said licking his lips. He then saw that the mist was now clearing and Naruto was standing back up "still want more; how tenacious" Orochimaru said adjusting the grip on his sword "lets start shall we" he said.
Naruto without saying anything charged at Orochimaru and swung his sword; Orochimaru ducked under the sword and attempted to stab Naruto. Naruto parried and countered with a kick which Orochimaru blocked; Orochimaru then grabbed Naruto's leg and pulled him in closer.
Orochimaru then proceeded to stab Naruto in a non-lethal area ensuring that the poison on his blade will be the thing that killed him.
"Gaah fuck" Naruto shouted as the blade entered his body; Naruto retaliated with a punch to Orochimaru's face sending the snake sanin back a few feet. Naruto then clutched at his wound; it felt like it was on fire and his vision was a little wobbly but other than that he felt fine "gonna take more than that to stop me you freak" Naruto shouted as he got back into his stance.
'That's odd' Orochimaru thought 'the poison should've made him not able to move; but he's still standing. I need to find out why that is' Orochimaru said now even more excited by the fight. Orochimaru then ran towards Naruto and when he was in range started attacking Naruto with his sword; Naruto blocked the first strike but failed to block a second that hit him in his right triceps.
Naruto fighting through pain countered with stab but it was easily side stepped by Orochimaru; Orochimaru then went behind Naruto and grabbed him by the collar. Orochimaru then threw Naruto into a tree splintering the wood and making Naruto cough up blood.
Naruto opened up his eyes and then felt the coldness of steel enter his body; Naruto looked down and saw that Orochimaru buried the Kusanagi up to the hilt into his stomach. 'Oh god' Naruto thought as he began to throw up blood.
"That was a fun little game Naruto" Orochimaru said pulling out his sword and letting Naruto fall to the ground; Naruto fell to the ground and began putting pressure on his wound "but sadly it must come to a end; now to take care of your other teammate" he said as he turned around and began walking to a frightened Sakura.
Naruto seeing this through fading vision had one final thought 'I may hate them; but I won't let them die' he thought. Naruto then grabbed his shark tooth necklace and put it in his mouth; he used the last bit of strength as he closed his jaw and broke the tooth.
Orochimaru was walking to Sakura at a leisurely pace when he felt a small splash of water hit the back of his neck; Orochimaru then turned around and saw an enraged looking Kisame.
"Raaah" Kisame roared as he swung Samehada and smacked Orochimaru into a tree.
"Kisame" Orochimaru said confused "what're- "Orochiamru began until he felt the air temperature get hotter; he then looked up and saw a giant glob of lava falling down over him. Orochimaru then substituted himself with a log. As Orochimaru landed he turned and saw 2 people standing there; Kisame Hoshigaki with an enraged look on his face and Mei Terumi who had a look of death and anger on her face. Both had small sharks on their shoulders who were still hanging on.
"You guys can go" Kisame said "and thanks for the reverse summon" he said as both sharks nodded and puffed into smoke.
"You… guys… showed up" Naruto said weakly; Mei and Kisame both looked at him and grimaced. Kisame then made a water clone and sent it to pick him up.
"Take him to the tower; this is over" Kisame said to his clone who nodded and ran off; he then turned to Sakura who was still cowering "get up and get out of here you little shit; and take the other kid with you" he shouted.
Sakura scrambled and picked up Sasuke and began to chase after the water clone.
"Kisame what are you doing here" Orochimaru said and Kisame chuckled.
"I'm here to kill the one who was about to kill one of my brothers" he said making Orochimaru confused "Naruto there is one of the seven swordsmen; and you nearly killed him. You crossed a line you snaky bastard" he said.
Orochimaru cursed in his mind and looked at Mei "and who are you" he asked.
"I'm Mei Terumi the fifth Mizukage" Mei said with a snarl "and I'm going to be the last thing you see before you go to hell" Mei said getting into a taijutsu stance.
Orochimaru got into a defensive stance 'this isn't good' he thought 'I can't retreat because Kisame can easily catch up; I have to make a stand here' Orochimaru thought as his toughest battle was about to begin.
Ok another chapter done I hope you all like it; yep it's going to be a Kisame and Mei vs Orochimaru battle next chapter. If you guys thought that Naruto was going to beat Orochimaru let's, get real Naruto would need more than a month of training to do it.
