"Okay, where did we end up?" Molly groaned, pushing herself back up off the ground.
"I don't know, but I don't think Ash is here." Casey said with a worried tone.
"What makes you think that?" Molly asked.
"Just a hunch." Casey said, as six team rocket members surrounded them.
A few minutes later
"Where is Ash?" Molly whispered worriedly.
"Come on we can get out of this without him." Casey said.
"How, we're tied up and they took our Pokemon." Molly said, seeing the cages holding Chikorita, Qwilfish, Cyndaquil and Mareep. "And even if they did break free, we're way too outnumbered."
"I know, I'm thinking, I'm thinking." Casey said, struggling against her bound wrists.
"We need to just hope Ash shows up soon." Molly said. "If he hasn't already gotten captured himself."
"Don't think like that, we can figure everything out, just give me a second." Casey said. "Qwilfish, I need you to puff up!"
Qwilfish began expanding it's body more and more until it knocked free Chikorita's cage, opening it.
"Great work, now Chikorita come and cut us free." Casey whispered.
Chikorita ran over, using his leaf to slice the ropes holding Casey.
"Look, one got out!" A Team Rocket Member exclaimed.
"Run!" Molly said.
"But you!" Casey argued.
"I'm fine, go and find Ash." Molly said, as Casey rushed off with Chikorita.
"No matter, she'll be back for her friend." Another Team Rocket member said smugly.
"Okay, no Ash, no map, no backup, and there are way too many Team Rocket goons for me to face on our own. I need something way stronger than I've seen to save everyone." Casey said, pacing a ways off from where Team Rocket was.
"GROAH!" A roar echoed as a purplish Pokemon walked over.
"A Pokemon?" Casey asked, taking out her Pokedex.
'Pokemon not recognized.' The Pokedex said.
"Pokemon not recognized, is that even possible?" Casey asked.
"Grrrr." The purple creature growled, seeing Team Rocket and he cages full of Pokemon.
"You need to be careful or they'll take you too." Casey warned. "I know they took your friends, but there's too many of them."
"GROAH!" The Pokemon roared, leaping towards the trucks.
"Wait!" Casey exclaimed, as the Pokemon landed with a thunderous boom. "Or maybe not."
"What is that thing?!" A Team Rocket member exclaimed.
"Don't ask, let's just catch it! Rhydon use Rock Slide!" Another called out.
Rocks tumbled down on top of the purple Pokemon only for it to zoom out of the way in a bolt of lightning, slamming into the Rhydon and knocking it down.
"That is impressive." Casey said, rushing back over to Molly.
"Get that thing it's getting to the Pokemon!" A Team Rocket grunt said angrily.
A Raticate, two Golbat, and a Primeape rushed at the mysterious Pokemon, the purple Pokemon letting out a roar, knocking all of them back.
"Casey what is that thing?" Molly whispered as Casey and Chikorita came over to untie her.
"Not a clue, Pokedex wouldn't read it either." Casey said.
"Any sign of Ash?" Molly asked.
"Not sure we need him anymore." Casey said, watching the mysterious Pokemon taking on overwhelming numbers.
Nearby, higher into the canyon
"I have a feeling that whatever is causing that, I'll find Team Rocket, and hopefully the girls." Ash said, seeing bolts of electricity burst out in the distance. "Come on guys!" Ash said rushing forward, Pikachu hot on his heels and Charizard flying quickly behind.
Back near the trucks
"Casey, any luck with these cages!" Molly said, struggling to open the cages.
"Nothing!" Casey exclaimed. "Chikorita try Razor Leaf again!"
Chikorita unleashed a series of leaves at the cages, each tinging off of the metal cages.
"Dour!" The wild Pokemon who had stolen Ash's Pokegear exclaimed, biting down on a lock, breaking it free.
"Looks like we've got backup." Casey said, seeing the black Pokemon.
"How did I make it here last?" Ash exclaimed, running over.
"Ash!" Molly exclaimed.
"Bulbasaur, Squirtle, Gligar, help get the Pokemon out! Pikachu, Charizard with me, we're taking out the Team Rocket members." Ash said, sending out his team. "What's that Pokemon?"
"No clue, the Pokedex didn't say anything." Casey said.
"Again?" Ash questioned.
"Okay, more questions later, help take care of Team Rocket, we'll free the Pokemon." Casey said.
"Right." Ash said, running to go help. "Pikachu use Thunder! Charizard use Flamethrower!"
Pikachu and Charizard sent out their respective elemental attacks against the Team Rocket members, helping the mysterious Pokemon out as Molly and Casey along with Ash's other Pokemon freed the other captives.
"THAT IS IT!" A large muscular man wearing a slightly different mask said stepping out. "YOU KID, THIS ENDS NOW!" He yelled at Ash.
"And who are you?" Ash questioned.
"I AM ONE OF TEAM ROCKETS ELITE GENERALS, AND YOU ARE MESSING UP THIS OPERATION!" The man yelled.
"Doesn't really answer my question, but alright I guess." Ash said.
"NOW YOU WILL FACE ME AND MY WRATH! COME ON OUT MACHAMP!" The man yelled.
"Charizard, let's do this, use Flamethrower!" Ash called out.
"MACHAMP USE STONE EDGE!" THE MAN YELLED.
Charizard flew into the air, dodging Machamp's attack before engulfing the fighting type in flames.
"MACHAMP USE THUNDER PUNCH!"
"Charizard use Fire Spin!"
Charizard flew circles around MACHAMP, narrowly dodging it's punches as flames trailed behind the fire type, trapping the fighting type in the flames.
"ROARH!" A roar echoed.
"Shit, boss she's coming." A Team Rocket grunt said.
"We can't take another fight with her, let's get going now." Another said.
"ALRIGHT EVERYONE MOVE OUT, GRAB WHAT YOU CAN!" The Machamp trainer ordered.
"What are they running from?" Ash asked.
"I don't know, but isn't it a good thing that they're leaving?" Molly asked.
"Yeah, but why so suddenly. What could make that many trainers run that hasn't been thrown at them already?" Ash said in confusion.
"Hey Ash, look what I found." Casey said, tossing his Pokegear over.
"Hey, that Pokemon must have dropped it finally!" Ash said, excitedly. "Wonder what happened to him."
"Probably ran off with the others." Casey said.
"Hey guys, whats that?" Molly asked as a group of Pokemon were flying in towards them.
'Charizard, the Flame Pokemon, a Fire and Flying type. It uses its wings to fly high. The temperature of its fire increases as it gains experience in battle.' Casey's Pokedex said, as she pointed it in the sky.
"I've never seen so many Charizard before, have you Ash?" Molly asked.
"I've never seen any other than my Charizard." Ash admitted.
"Alright you three, step away from the Charizard and no one gets hurt!" A woman said, stepping off of a Charizard with a pink bow.
"Wait what?" Ash asked.
