"Ekruteak City, we're actually here." Ash said excitedly. "All the legends and mysteries to unfold."
"Yeah, for instance the two towers in the city are identical to a certain point despite the western tower being destroyed." Molly said.
"Only because of the storm burning it down so the townsfolk created a second identical tower acting as a pseudo home for Ho-oh, now known as the Tin Tower." Ash said.
"Wait, okay I understand how she knows this, it's par the course for her, but how exactly do you know all of that?" Casey asked.
"I told you I met someone." Ash reminded.
"Yes, the mysterious stranger in the storm who just so happens to be looking for something in the same place you are." Casey chuckled.
"Stranger things have happened to us." Molly pointed out.
"You, stranger things have happened to you." Casey said. "But just plain odd things happen to Ash."
"Are you guys going to trust me, or just make fun of what happened?" Ash countered.
"Ash, it's not that we don't want to believe that he exists." Molly sighed.
"It's that the idea of you meeting someone wearing a cape in the middle of a rainstorm who just so happens to be investigating these towers is a little far fetched." Casey said bluntly.
"Well I'll prove it to you that Eusine is real." Ash argued.
"Of course I'm real, I did say we would investigate these towers together." Eusine said, appearing out of nowhere.
"Eusine!" Ash exclaimed.
"I'm glad you could make it Ash and Pikachu, and these must be the friends you were telling me about." Eusine said.
"Right, these are my friends, Molly and Casey. Molly and Casey, this is the man I was telling you about, Eusine." Ash said.
"It's a pleasure to meet you both, do you also have intrigue in learning about the legendary Suicune?" Eusine asked.
"I'm a fan of learning about any legendary Pokemon." Molly said excitedly.
"I guess I can tag along." Casey sighed, as the group headed towards the Burned Tower.
At the Burned Tower
"Eusine, you know when I offered to assist you in this research, I had hoped you would actually make it on time." A man with blonde hair and a purple scarf said.
"My apologies Morty, I was meeting with the trainer I was telling you about earlier." Eusine said. "Meet Ash and Pikachu, and their friends Molly and Casey."
"Hey." Casey said calmly.
"So has Eusine told you exactly what is going on here today?" Morty asked.
"We're looking to see remnants of the legendary beasts that once lived here, right?" Molly asked.
"Supposedly lived here." Morty said. "I'm not doubting the stories, but this tower burned down 150 years ago, and legends and stories get muddled over time, even if they were true, there's no guarantee that they are still here."
"Pi." Pikachu said seeing the familiar blue creature in the backside of the room.
"You're here, aren't you?" Ash asked.
"Umm, Ash what are you looking at?" Casey asked.
"That, that creature." Ash said, pointing towards it.
"Ash, there's nothing there." Molly said.
"What, there's literally a glowing blue Pokemon right there on the other side of the tower." Ash responded. "I, I've been seeing it ever since I came to Johto!"
"When, we've been with you almost the entire time." Casey reminded.
"When I first arrived and got lost on my way to Professor Elms, and then there was in Azalea Town, the night I caught Totodile, and then the other day, just before I met Eusine." Ash said. "I'll prove its real, just watch!" Ash added, rushing towards the Pokemon.
"Ash, don't run so much, this building probably isn't stable!" Molly said, chasing after him.
"Will you two stop running into buildings and ruins, have we learned nothing!" Casey said, following the two.
"Great choice of backup." Morty commented.
"He seemed less troubled when we met." Eusine admitted.
On the other side of the tower
"Okay Ash, where is this mysterious Pokemon?" Casey questioned.
"They were over here, I swear, they were right next to this broken pillar." Ash said, pushing at it.
"Ash, you can't just mess with these things, one wrong move will cause the entirety of the tower to collapse on top of us!" Molly scolded.
"Or under us." Casey said, hearing the boards beneath their feet creak.
"It's a tower, they don't have basements!" Ash said, breaking the pillar free as the ground fell out beneath them.
A floor down
"I told you not to do that Ash." Molly groaned, dusting herself off. "Where even are we?"
"The basement, I said we'd fall!" Casey pointed out.
"Casey, again it's an old bell tower not a mansion or skyscraper." Molly said, waving away some dust. "Let's just see if we can find a way out of here."
"Uhh guys, you might wanna see these." Ash said in the distance.
As the dust cleared three statues were revealed of canine like Pokemon.
"It's Entei?" Molly said in confusion walking up to it, pulling out her Pokedex.
'Entei, the Volcano Pokemon and a fire type.'
"And this one looks like that thing that saved us in the canyon." Casey said, scanning it with her Pokedex.
'Raikou, the Thunder Pokemon and an Electric Type.'
"It's you, the Pokemon I kept seeing you've been leading me back to you." Ash said, reaching out to touch the statue as a red energy shot from his fingertips to the statue and then arched to the other two causing all three to start cracking.
"Ash! What did you do!?" Molly exclaimed.
"I don't know!" Ash said in a panic as the stone covering fell off revealing the three beasts beneath.
"They're alive." Molly said before Entei leapt out of the basement and away.
"They were real?" Casey asked in shock as Raikou left the same way.
"You're free, now what?" Ash asked.
"It's Suicune." Eusine said, having found his way down. "Incredible."
Upon seeing Eusine appear, Suicune followed the same path as the other two Pokemon leaping away.
"All my years searching for Suicune and you not only find it but it has an interest in you!" Eusine exclaimed. "That's it I must prove myself to Suicune, I do apologize Ash and Pikachu but we can no longer be allies, if I am to catch Suicune you must be my rival so for now tata." Eusine said rushing off presumably after Suicune.
"Okay you guys might have been right about him being a little weird." Ash admitted still processing what had just happened. "Good luck Suicune."
