Part 2: Aquatic secrets
Sonar swam around the tank, looking at his friends and loved ones as RZ looked over the screen.
Troy: *looks at Sonar* So you just...found him like this?
K-9: Yeah, Megacore is gone too and we have no idea how this happened. We had to bring him back, no way we were going to leave him there. Just wish we could of found his Megacore.
Peg-Leg: *bringing a screen over* Well luckily for us we have a solution to the latter.
All turned as Peg-Leg placed the screen on the tank, a keyboard appearing on the other side.
Ish: With situations like this it makes me glad how much technology has advanced.
Peg-Leg: *smiles* Same...*to Sonar* Alright, Sonar can you tell us what happened?
Sonar nodded as he typed. It was a minute or two when he turned the screen around.
Sonar (typed): I'VE BEEN HAVING PAINS RECENTLY, FEW WEEKS AGO I WAS ATTACK BY THE THREE ROUGES. I WANTED TO CALL YOU BUT THEY CHASED ME AND I RAN OFF WITH THE MEGACORE. MY WHOLE BODY WAS ON FIRE THE WHOLE TIME, I FELL INTO THE OCEAN AND IT JUST INCREASED TILL WHEN I WOKE UP...I GOT THESE FINS AND THE MEGACORE WAS GONE.
Tua: Figures those three had a hand in this, though it's rather small this time around.
Alto: Then...the only answer as to what caused this has to be the Megacore.
Ash: But, he's been feeling pains before that event. Not to mention the Megacore is MIA.
All pondered at that point, being silent for a while.
RZ:...Sonar, This might seem out of the blue but, do you know anything of your family history?
That caught everyone attention as Sonar shoke his head, typing quickly.
Sonar (typed): NO. MY MOM AND DAD WEREN'T ABLE TO TELL ME OF OUR RUSHERZ HISTORY. THEY WERE GOING TO TELL ME WHEN I GOT IN MY TEENS BUT THAT NEVER HAPPENED. WHY?
RZ: This is just a theory, but perhaps your ancestors might have a hand on this situation.
Liberty: That-is a very good theory. Sonar what do you-*panic* OH GEEZ!
All paled as Sonar had curled at the bottom of the tank shivering, a stream of blood coming from his tail; Peg-Leg immediately reacted jumping into the tank and getting him out. The Buccaneer Rusher saw blood seeping out from the scales.
Peg-Leg: *wincing* Aye...That explains the pain, um...*Thinks...Idea;looks up* you got a sponge?
All: Sponge?
Peg-Leg: Yeah, soft sponge no adverse green sides.
K-9 soon realized what he was going to do nodded and ran off.

Freefall: Good idea with the sponge Peg-Leg. Rags would of irritate the scales.
Peg-Leg gave a small smile; Sonar shoulders slumping in relief as Peg-Leg gently dabbed the wet sponge on the scales, removing the blood and easing the pain Sonar had been having for weeks. He was leaning on his oldest friend as Peg-Leg continued to ease the pain.
Peg-Leg: Aye, was hoping this would help with the pain he's been having.
Ricky: He does looks like he's getting better. Least he isn't in that much pain anymore.
Ish: In fact, he seems more at ease when you two brought him in. Maybe it cause the Core is here.
RZ: In any case, we still need to look the theory we have now. *looks at the clock* -sighs- Something we must continue on tomorrow.
All turned to see the clock and that it was late.
Marty: Oh yeah, my parents are going to be wondering where i am.
Ash: Are you all going to be okay on waiting?
They nodded including Sonar.
Stampede: I think sleep might be good for all of us. This...is still alot to take in, but being restless and tired isn't going to help us.
Ish: Right, keep us posted though if you guys find anything.
They nodded as both Guardians and Rusherz waved goodbye till tomorrow...Liberty and Stampede fell to their knees as Freefall check on them.
Liberty: SHARDS...
Freefall: Easy you two, we'll find a solution to all this.
Stampede: Just...how in the universe does this just happen?
K-9: Situation could of been so much worse. Least we can still communicate with him and ease the pain.
Peg-Leg nodded...and yet, deep down he wished Sonar was never in this situation in the first place.

Night had fully fallen, almost all the Rusherz had gone to bed with Sonar sleeping in the tank. Stampede sighed as he headed to his room, Freefall walking over.
Stampede: -sighs- What a day, i hope we can get Sonar back to normal soon. He looked so scared when he was brought in.
Freefall: I know, but he's home now and he's got alot of support. I'm sure we'll be able to find answer soon. *heading to his room;small smile* Have a good night Stamps.
Stampede: *small smile* You have a good night too Frees.
With that the two went to their rooms and all were sound asleep...Peg-Leg silently opened his door looking around, before creeping out of his room, not unnoticed though.

Sonar was curled up in the tank around a pile of sponges, unable to sleep as he looked down in sorrow. RZ had gone offline for the night, so he was alone.
TAP TAP.
Sonar sat up fast seeing Peg-Leg in his pajamas, holding a blanket and pillow as he warmly smiled.
Peg-Leg: Thought you would like company. Know your still shaken over your transformation and the rapid events, so I thought you would like a friendly face.
?: Figure you would go back out here.
Both turned to see K-9 walking over with Swagger, a smirk on his face. Peg-Leg couldn't help but chuckle as Sonar gave a silent one.
Peg-Leg: Aye, I owe you two for helping me find Sonar.
K-9 gave a small smile, going down and petting the Bullmastif.
K-9: Gotta thank this little guy for the huge help. Buddy I am SO giving you extra treats for the entirety of the season. You just helped find our friend, yes you did.
Swagger rolled on his back as K-9 petted him, Peg-Leg laughing quietly as he knew the Brown Rusher was gonna SPOIL THIS DOG. Swagger turned and went on his haunches licking the Brown Rusherz' face causing K-9 to hit the wall for balance...and he fell back as it opened.
Peg-Leg: *worried* KARNIVIOUS!
Sonar banged on the glass as he lept out of the tank, Peg-Leg catching him as the two went after him.

Swagger: BARK BARK!
K-9 was in a daze as he shoke his head, Peg-Leg and Sonar reaching the smooth rock bottom as Peg-Leg helped him up.
Peg-Leg: Are you alright?!
K-9: *un-dazed* Yeah, I'm okay. *looks around* What is this?
All three looked around, seeing the smooth walls and ground of a tunnel.
Peg-Leg: No clue...I had no idea this was here.
Sonar tugged at Peg-Leg's short sleeve as he pointed down the tunnel, confusing the two.
K-9: You want to check it out?
Sonar nodded fast in response.
Peg-Leg: Could, something be down here that slowing Sonar's pain.
K-9: *raises hand* Hold on there, let me at least get a flashlight!
...
K-9: *looks around;shines the way* Incredible. I looks like this has been here for a while.
The group, now being lead by the light of the flashlight, walked down the path.
Peg-Leg: *carrying Sonar* Aye, and familiar. I feel like this place has been mentioned before.
Sonar looked around, gently placing a hand on the wall as feeling the smoothness.
K-9: HEY! Think there's an opening, not that far from where we began.
They four came to the entryway...and we left speechless.
The area was a enormase cavern, large statues of football players in uniform were placed around the area, above a light shone in lighting the area in a night-like glow. At one of the ends as a large piece of land, with grand stairs that led to a stone book stand.
K-9:...IS THIS WHAT THEY MEANT WHEN THEY SAID THEY FOUND A SURPRISE TO US?!
Peg-Leg: By the shards of the core, a whole area of Cordalion underneath the Hall of Fame...*looks up at the hole in the ceiling...clicks* Is that where Ish was when he found the Guardian Playbook?
K-9: -whistles- Haven't heard of that book in a while, know the kids study on it at home.
Sonar eyes widen as he lept from Peg-Leg arms to the water bellow.
Peg-Leg and K-9: *confused/worry* AH SONAR-!
Sonar plunged in with a splash, worrying the two more and the three ran down the stairs.

Sonar had not felt this at ease in WEEKS! He haven't felt so happy since then as he swam around in joy. He took in the area around, noting something on the watery walls. He swam over, seeing something was painted on the walls. Nodding, he swam back up.
...
The two were kneeling near the water's edge.
K-9: *petting Swagger* Sonar ya there!
Sonar popped in front of them, surprising the two as they fell back.
Peg-Leg: Lands sake Sonar warn us when your about to take the plunge.
Sonar pointed to the water in excitement, making the three come over.
K-9: Did you find something down there?
Sonar nodded with enthusiasm.
Peg-Leg: Can't see to much though due to it's night right?
Sonar nodded again, peaking both Rusherz interest.
K-9: Might need to wait till morning for a further invesitgat-
He froze as both he and Peg-Leg turned back to Sonar. The two noticed that, his eyes were not full of pain anymore.
Peg-Leg: *shock* Sonar..do you feel any pain?
He shoke his head, a smile on his face as he grabbed Peg-Leg and K-9's hand making them smile. Swagger barked in joy seeing Sonar smiling and happy.
K-9: Just what is this place..*shakes his head* Figure out later we're just happy to see your not in pain anymore Sonar.
Peg-Leg: *joy* AYE! This place must have powerful properties of the Guardian's playbook was hidden here before Ish came. The others need to see-
Claw: *shock/awe* EXCUSE ME!
All turned to see the rest of the Rusherz (in pajamas) looking shock and awe at the area from the top.
Pack: *shock/awe* SINCE WHEN DID WE HAVE THIS UNDERNEATH THE HALL OF FAME?!
K-9: They see it now. *loud* HEY GUYS! THINK WE GOT A CLUE ON HOW TO HELP SONAR! ALSO WE NEED TO TELL ISH WE GOT ACCESS TO THIS PLACE, KID'S GONNA GET A NOSTALGIA TRIP!
All ran down as the night light of the area made the water glistened, welcoming the Rusherz to a hidden part of the past.
