Chapter 1 Dark Decision

In the city of Paris, Gabriel Agreste sat in his private home office deep in thought as he worked on his computer. Gabriel was frustrated and in deep thought as he browsed the Internet for a solution to his problem. That problem being his, wife Emilie's condition. Years ago Emilie had been perfectly healthy and happy, until the day she used the damaged Peacock Miraculouses to create their son Adrien and became deathly ill, falling into a coma. Gabriel vowed to save his wife and had researched the Miraculouses learning that with the combined power of the Ladybug and Cat Miraculouses could grant any wish and he planned to obtain those Miraculouses to get the wish to save his wife.
Gabriel used the Butterfly Miraculous and took on the identity of a villain called Hawk Moth, who had the ability to create black butterflies called Akumas that Gabriel would send out to infect any citizen experiencing great deals of negative emotions and turn them into super villain minions with incredible powers. The plan was for Hawk Moth to create a villain to cause chaos and destruction to lure out the holders of the Cat and Ladybug Miraculouses and have the villain defeat them and bring the Miraculouses to Hawk Moth. Gabriel's plans were half successful, the villains caused chaos and the holders of the Miraculouses, the heroes of Ladybug and Cat Noir would show up to face them, but the two heroes would then defeat the villains. Villain after villain was defeated by Ladybug and Cat a Noir and Gabriel was no closer to accomplishing his goal. No matter what villain Hawk Moth created, he met the same result, which just angered him greatly.
After multiple failures, Gabriel decided to explore other means to try to bring Emilie back. Looking up all kinds of articles about advanced science and magic, but he wasn't having much luck, until one of his searches brought him to a website talking about a place in Mexico called Miracle City. The site talked about about how Miracle City was a beautiful place, but filled with various villains who terrorized the citizens. Gabriel was drawn to one page that talked about the most powerful and feared super villain of Miracle City, Sartana of the Dead. The page talked about how Sartana had a Mystical Guitar capable of raising the dead and many other great feats.
Gabriel blinked his eyes as the gears in his head began to turn. Sartana and her Mystical Guitar sounded exactly like the thing he needed. Now the question remained was how to get them? Gabriel considered going Miracle City himself using a Akuma to create a super villain to retrieve the guitar for him, but quickly shook the idea off. Miracle City was Sartana's home turf and she most likely guarded and kept a good eye on his prized weapon. So Gabriel decided he needed to make contact with Sartana and make a deal with her to get her to come to Paris and use her Mystical Guitar on Emilie. Gabriel had plenty of money and treasure at his disposal and was very confident he could make a deal with Sartana.
Gabriel used one of his secret and secured accounts to send Sartana a email, before closing the computer and headed down to the secret room known as the Crypt where he kept Emilie in a cryogenic pod. He went over to the pod and placed a hand on it and spoke.
"I think I finally found a way to bring you back Emilie. It involves making a deal with a devil, but I'm willing to pay any price to have you back in my life, so we can be family once more."
A part of Gabriel knew what he was doing was dangerous, but if Sartana could bring Emilie back he was willing to risk it all. Nothing else mattered to Gabriel.
