The Kamado siblings have left their village and home, a day after the tragedic loss. Both having a walk while Tanjiro is carrying their stuff from their basket bag. The siblings begin asking for directions to a women with her child holding her hand
"Sagiri mountain? to reach there you'll have to pass down through these mountains." says the lady as Tanjiro says "i see, thank you very much."
"the sun is going down, you sure you wanna continue with such a large luggage?"
Nezuko replied "we'll be fine will be careful."
Night time has arrived as the siblings then saw a temple along the way. Tanjiro begins to smell something, the smell of blood coming from the temple, Tanjiro runs to the temple and nezuko to follow her brother, Tanjiro opens the door and yells "are you okay?!"
tanjiro's eyes were wide open as he witnesses a demon who is licking his bloody hands while 4 dead bodies are lying there. Nezuko just watched and froze in shock after seeing the body. The Demon rushes to tanjiro, tanjiro jumped backwards as he pulls his sword out and immediately sliced it's head off.
The demon's head fell and he started yelling "what the, do you know how long it takes to regenerate that? wait, im fading away? your not even a demon hunter and yet you have a demon slayer sword?!" the demon started to disintigrate as tanjiro was watching the demon fading away as Nezuko continued staring at the bodies in horror until she snapped and rushed to the demon and smashed it's head from her leg, making it get mushed into pieces as she caused a large dent on the concrete.
Tanjiro got startled of nezuko having the strength to cause a dent. "Nezuko, are you okay?"
"yeah, im okay. I swear in my life, i won't show any mercy to them." says nezuko as her anger to them is getting strong.
"come on, let's bury the dead." says tanjiro as he then realises that the bodies are not in the temple. "where are the dead?" asked tanjiro as nezuko then feels something and says "I think someone is behind the temple." as she runs off "how can you tell?" asked tanjiro
"i don't." says nezuko, as both siblings seeing an old mad with a blue water based hoari, who he seemed to have already buried the bodies and ge prayed as he finishes praying and says "I am urokudaki sekonji, you 2 are the siblings that Tomioka Giyu has recommended?"
"yes, I'm kamado tanjiro. this is my sister, Kamado Nezuko."
"Tanjiro, where did you upon this Blade?" asked sekonji
"This sword has been in my family for generations, A demon slayer from the sengoku era name Yoriichi Tsugiikuni gifted this to our family." answered Tanjiro
"I see, and as for you Nezuko. Since you got turned into a Demon temporarily, i must ask. Are you by any chance feeling like something in you has changed?" asked Sekonji
"well, I feel like im having some odd senses if my father could describe it, i kinda like felt like someone is inside and behind the temple only to find you behind and the demon inside. And i think i got myself some inhuman strength since i caused a dent, i can't describe how." answered Nezuko
"I understand, well since I've witnessed you slicing and crushing the demon. I can already sense something in you. I plan on testing you to see if you both are worthy of becoming demon slayers. But it seems like you have already passed a little more than that, without further, let's move." replied Sekonji as he has both siblings to follow him by running while Tanjiro as keeping up with him, as well as Nezuko but getting tired.
They arrived at a small house at Mount Sagiri as the siblings got slightly exhausted, later on, they ended up falling asleep, in a room as Sakonji places tanjiro's sword on a table to keep it safe.
