A/N: Hello, readers! This arc will be short (will have about 4 chapters) just like with my God Pegasus book. I don't want to drag this arc on super long because I need to have room for the actual anime story arcs.

Enjoy!

CHAPTER NINE: REUNION

The members of Twilight Phoenix arrived at the run-down Horned Serpent guild hall. "Let's split up. We'll cover more ground that way. If you happen to find Dusk, get him to safety." Akame stated as his guild members nodded and began going different directions.

Akame started looking around for his sister. "It's been a long time, brother." Akame looked up to see his sister hop down from the ceiling as she landed on the ground.

"Ally." Akame said sternly as he crossed his arms. "You're alive."

Allyson snorted. "It's been years since you've seen me, and yet, that's the first thing you say to me?" She questioned.

"I'll get straight to the point then." Akame stated. "You have someone I care about. I'd like him back."

Allyson laughed. "You think I'd just give him to you that easily?" She asked.

"What do you want from me, Ally? Why do you resent me so much?"

"Because you abandoned me!" Allyson shouted. "You left me in the cold. I was crying, starving, and on the brink of death. Well, that is until Persephone took me in as her pupil and taught me magic."

"Persephone Tray took me in when I showed up at her door. She took me in, warmed me up, and fed me. I told her my older brother and I were survivors of Brago. In which she was shocked because she had heard that no one survived Deliora's attack." Allyson explained.

"I didn't abandon you." Akame began. "I searched for you, Ally. For days. I assumed you were dead."

"I don't want your lame excuses."

"You're going to make me hurt you, are you, Ally?"

Allyson smirked. "You won't do it. You wouldn't hurt your own flesh and blood." She said.

"Family doesn't end in blood. Being in Twilight Phoenix has taught me that." Akame stated.

Meanwhile, Ajar and Julian were walking around the run-down guild hall, searching for Dusk. "I think I finally came up with why they took Dusk instead of Akame." Ajar was saying as his guild mate looked at him.

"What would that be?" Julian asked.

"Well, if Akame's sister wanted to hurt him in some way, what other way to hurt him other than-" Ajar started to say.

"Take someone who he cares about the most." Julian finished for him. "Question is, how did she find out that Akame and Dusk have such a close bond?"

"She did recruit members who were apart of Horned Serpent. My only guess is that's how she found out." Ajar replied.

"Looks like we got some phoenixes in our garden, Quartz." They heard a voice say. Ajar and Julian looked up to see Quartz and Daisuke jumping down from the ceiling and right in front of them.

"It seems that you're right, Dai." Quartz replied. Both Ajar and Julian got into a fighting stance.

"If it's a fight you want..." Ajar began.

"...then a fight is what you're gonna get." Julian finished for him.

Dawn and Atugia were on the opposite side of the old Horned Serpent guild hall. "Damn her! How dare she take Dusk as a hostage!" Dawn shouted angrily.

"What do you know about Hana anyway?" Atugia questioned.

"She's a Celestial Spirit Wizard. Though, she only uses silver keys." Dawn explained. "However, don't let that fool you. All of her silver keys are strong."

"You're right about that, Dawn." Hana said as she appeared from the shadows.

"We don't have to fight, Hana. You and I were good friends when I was in Horned Serpent. Just tell me where my brother is and we'll be on our way." Dawn told her, hoping that she could get through to her former guild mate.

"I'm afraid I can't do that, and we're not longer friends. You and Riku betrayed Horned Serpent the moment you joined Twilight Phoenix. I won't let you interfere with Allyson's plans." Hana informed.

Both Dawn and Atugia got into a fighting stance. Hana took out a silver key. "Open, Gate of the Speedster, Fulgur!" She shouted as a boy with spiky blonde hair and lightning scars on his eyes. He wore a dark blue shirt with black pants that had lightning bolts.

"What do you need, Hana-sama?" Fulgur asked.

"Attack them!" Hana ordered.

Lightning appeared behind Fulgur as he sped through Dawn and Atugia, sending them to the ground before they had a chance to react. "Fulgur, return!" Hana said as she closed his gate. Both Dawn and Atugia got up.

"You've gotten smarter, Hana. You used one of your most powerful spirits first." Dawn stated.

"You learn a thing or two from Ms. Tray." Hana informed as Dawn raised an eyebrow in question while Hana pulled out another silver key. "Open, Gate of the River Spirit, Eridanus!" She shouted.

A man with long gray hair and blue eyes appeared. He was wearing a light blue top that was see-through and showed off his abs with golden trims at the bottom. He also had a long dark blue skirt with light blue ribbons wrapping around his legs.

"Take Over Magic: Angel Soul: Raphael!" Dawn yelled as she changed into white armor with white angel wings.

Eridanus attacked them with water magic as Dawn used white magic to counter it. There was an explosion and Eridanus was sent back into the celestial spirit world. Dawn looked over at Hana.

"I'm sorry, Hana. But I have to do this." Dawn apologized. "White Out!" She shouted as she blasted white magic towards Hana's direction, causing another explosion. When the dust settled, Hana was down on the ground.

Dawn changed out of her armor and looked towards Atugia. "Sorry for taking all the action." She told her.

"Don't apologize. You knew your ex-guildmate better than me." Atugia reassured her. "Haven't seen your magic before."

"Yeah. I had chosen not to fight in the war, so no one in Twilight Phoenix has really seen it." Dawn stated.

"You have the same type of magic that Mirajane from Fairy Tail and Jenny from Blue Pegasus have?"

"That is correct. You seem to be shocked, Atugia."

"Honestly, I thought you would be a Dragon Slayer like Dusk."

"Nope." Dawn said. "Speaking of Dusk, let's continue our search for him."

Atugia just nodded in agreement as the two women went on the way in search for the Star Dragon Slayer.

Dusk sighed as he tried to break through the handcuffs. "Your struggling is useless. Those handcuffs were made to counter magic. So don't even try." He heard a voice tell him. Dusk looked up to see a twenty-five year old woman with long blonde hair and purple colored eyes. She had a black dress and black stockings covering her legs.

"So you're the Blood Dragon King's mate." She hummed in thought.

"I'm sorry, mate?" Dusk questioned, not sure what she was talking about.

"Have you ever wondered why your connection is so strong when you're with him? I'm actually sure he's figured it out by now. Why he has the constant need to protect you." The woman explained. "However, you're not covered in his scent. Which makes me believe you two haven't mated yet."

"Who are you?" Dusk asked.

"Persephone Tray. Nice to meet you, Star Dragon Slayer." The blonde haired woman responded.

A/N: Sorry if this chapter seemed short. I really didn't know what else to add.

Hope you enjoyed!
