It was 11:00pm. Ritchie had gone to bed hours ago, and Robert and Laura decided to turn in for the night. They went into the bedroom together. Robert change into his pajamas. Laura slipped her loafers off.

"I feel like taking a bath before going to bed," she announced.

"Ok, honey," he responded.

Barefooted, but with her clothes still on, she went into the bathroom.

His bedclothes on, he turned the tv on and went to his bed.

From the bathroom, he heard the water turn on and off. But then, he suddenly heard a loud splash, followed by a scream.

"Honey!" he shouted.

He got up and ran into the bathroom, where he was treated to a strange sight:

Laura was lying in a tub of water-with her clothes on!

"WHAT HAPPENED?!"

"Oh, I leaned over to look at the water, and I fell in!"

"Are you ok, Laura?"

"Yeah, I guess so-just wet!"

Suddenly, he began laughing!

"Rob!"

"I'm sorry, honey, but you've gotta admit, that was pretty funny!"

"Yeah, I guess it was! Could you help me out, please?"

"Sure, Laura."

He helped her out of the tub and gave her a towel.

At that moment, their son came into the room!

"What's going on? I heard all these noises?"

"Nothing, Ritchie," said his father.

And then, Ritchie looked at his mother. "Mommy, you're all wet!"

"Yes, I am, Ritchie!"

"What happened?"

"I fell into the tub!"

He giggled. "That looks fun! Can I take a bath with all my clothes on?"

"NO!" his mom and dad said together!

"Ok!"

"Go back to bed, Ritchie," said his mom. "I'll put on some dry clothes and tuck you in."

"Ok, Mommy."

He left.

"Well, I'll get out of these wet clothes!" she said.

"You do that. I'll drain the tub."

"Thanks."

"Are you sore at me for laughing at you?"

"No, I guess not."

They hugged.

"Say, Laura, this gives me an idea for a comedy sketch! Would it be ok with you if I wrote it for the show?"

She shrugged her wet shoulders. "No, go right ahead. I guess it was pretty funny!"

"Yes, it was!" She smiled.

He drained the tub while she dried off and put her pajamas on. She went to Ritchie's room to tuck him into bed, then she and Robert also went to bed.
