**AN** injoy the chapter**

Once he had ventured deeper into the forest, he heard the sound of rustling coming from the bushes. Cautiously he made his way towards it. With a loud rustling sound, a large male mudwing popped out from behind the bushes. Hello there young fellow my name is Musty. What's yours? The mudwing asked. Peacemaker, he replied cheerfully Musty asked, "What are you doing here alone and where are you headed?" I am headed to the cherry tree what are you doing out here? Peacemaker questioned. Well, I once was a lot like you and was on an adventure to save my mother But ended up cursed so that I can't fly or run and was too ashamed to ever leave the forest so now, I am here. Musty answered. Is there a way to break the curse? Peacemaker asked. Musty answered Why don't you stay the night it is very complicated how to break the curse and I can explain while we get some dinner. He said with a grin. Peacemaker agreed happily with a smile. As they hunted Musty started to sneak around a bit, and Peacemaker grew suspicious of his behaviour Nonetheless he continued to hunt with him but then.

Out of nowhere came a dagger that nearly hit Peacemaker right in the heart. When he looked to see who had thrown it, he saw Musty with a dagger. Came towards him and then suddenly dropped dead with Deathsight standing over the body and said Looked like you could use a hand. Thanks, Peacemaker replied, looking like he was about to vomit. No problem. Who was he anyway? Deathsight asked. That was Musty I thought he was a good dragon, but I made the mistake of trusting a stranger, Peacemaker said Sadly. It's OK, Peacemaker. Everyone makes mistakes. Deathsight exclaimed with a smile. No, it's not OK. I could have gotten myself killed or injured. Peacemaker exclaimed. Sh, I hear something, Deathsight said quietly as she crept slowly toward the sound Suddenly, a giant vine burst out of the ground and grabbed Deathsight and peacemaker before either of them had time to react. All of a sudden the vines let go and disappeared into the forest. With alarmed and curious expressions. Peacemaker and Deathsight tried to find out who released them. But there was no evidence of who could have done it. So with a thankful yell from Peacemaker, they were off again to find the Cherry Tree.

As they walked in silence, Peacemaker thought about what had happened. And couldn't help but think it was all his fault. If only he hadn't trusted Musty, none of this would have happened. Deathsight started. You know it's not your fault, right? Of course, Peacemaker replied with a sad smile. Peacemaker, I know you're lying to me. How? Peacemaker asked. Deathsight replied by pointing at her head. Oh right, mind reading. How is it not my fault? I trusted Musty and that was what got us into trouble in the first place. Out of everyone I know, you have the best heart. You are a good dragon Peacemaker, and if you don't trust Dragons because of a bad experience, you will miss out on all the friends you could have had. Thanks, Deathsight, Peacemaker replied with a smile. While they had been talking, they arrived at a crossroads. Where now Deathsight asked. Peacemaker just shrugged and said I don't know, but it's getting late. Why don't we sleep here? Good idea. I could use a rest, Deathsight replied. As they settled down to sleep, Deathsight and Peacemaker could feel someone watching them. But who?

For now, they would just go to sleep and hope for the best. As they slept, Peacemaker was having a dream that was like a message of DarkStalker telling him to hurry before it was too late for his offer. Peacemaker didn't know if it was a good idea, but he did know he had come this far, and he was for some reason connected to this dragon and he wanted to know why. The next morning as they were eating Peacemaker asked Deathsight. Why do you think Musty wanted to kill me? Because he was hired to. Deathsight answered. Was he really cursed and who hired him? Peacemaker questioned. I don't know he didn't think about who wanted you dead. He was, however, lying about the curse. Deathsight answered him truthfully.

Where are we headed today? She asked him. I have not decided yet. Maybe we should just look around for a bit to see if there are any clues on which path will take us to the Cherry Tree. For the remainder of the day, they searched for clues, only to find nothing helpful so they ate a few mangoes they found and decided to spend the night there again. Peacemaker opened his eyes to see the left road from across Rd. glowing and then everything went black. The next morning peacemaker told the site about his dream and they decided that the left Rd. was the best choice considering that they had no other leads they left on the left Rd. Keeping an eye out for danger they kept going on their journey. At the end of the road, there was a steep mountain with a bunch of caves going all the way up. They approached the bottom of the mountain and decided it was too far to go in one night so they decided to rest at the bottom of the mountain for the night and begin again in the morning.
