Marinette headed home, crossing through the park on the way home from sewing class. She was excited to show her parents what she had crocheted: a pair of strawberries for her mother, and pot of tea for her father. But Marinette had also made a little black cat for her favorite kitty, Cat Noir.

"Sorry, miss. You'll have to wait until the photo shoot's over," a man said. "Who are they photographing?" Marinette asked. As far as she knew, Adrien didn't have a shoot today. "Cat Noir," the guard told her, then walked away.

Marinette sighed, heading over to the bench to wait. Maybe she'd do some sketching to pass the time. But her eyes kept being drawn to Cat, and her eyes softened.

Sure, he snored, napped in a box in her room, and continuously tried to take yarn and cookies, but he was her very best friend. On the days were she felt alone, Cat was always there with a listening ear, or a hug.

His green eyes were gentle and playful, sculpted cheeks bones that when he smiled, two adorable dimples popped out, causing Marinette to blush. She waved her face, looking down. Had it gotten hot all of the sudden? She splashed water on her cheeks to cool them, then looked again.

Oh, he was a model. The sun cast a perfect silhouette, emphasizing on his cat ears that occasionally twitched and flapped. His golden bell shone at his throat, and Marinette's fingers itched to flick it, hearing its golden tones.

Then….Cat's eyes flickered to hers and she was caught up in his spell, for she couldn't look away. Her worries and tiredness faded away in that moment, only causing her to feel exhalation and joy.

"So, did you enjoy the shoot?" A shadow fell over the young designer, and Marinette looked up at Cat. "Kitty! All done with the shoot?" "Yes. The calendars will raise money for the Children's Hospital."

"That's a sweet gesture, Kitty." Cat examined his claws, polishing them on his suit. He gave Marinette his million dollar grin. "I'm really the Cat's Meow, aren't I, Princess?"

She could groan or roll her eyes, but instead she stood up. "I think your sweet, though you vanity could use some work." His ears drooped, and she laughed. Looping her arm through his, she asked, "You've had dinner yet?" Those cute triangles sprang up towards the sky. "Lead me to the food!"

"Cat!" she laughed. "Of course, we can cuddle after," he blushed, looking shy. She laughed. "Come on, let's go home."
