Ralph sped out of the tunnel to Tapper's and into Game Central, looking around for a quick moment before making his way towards the entrance to Fix-It Felix Jr. GCS was fairly crowded today, namely because a lot of the depressed and confused candy citizens were aimlessly wandering around. Close to one of the information kiosks was Wynnchel, looking a bit sombre.

Curiosity taking him over, Ralph walked over, his presence making the donut cop turn and face him.

"Ah, hey there Ralph", Wynnchel said with a slight but sad smile. "I'm surprised you aren't with the racers."

"Just headed to Tapper's so I could give them some space." The wrecker gave him a curious look. "Where's Duncan at? You two are usually joined at the hip."

"Ah, Surge needed his help with something." The chocolate-dipped donut cop looked out towards the bustling train station. "So I decided to just hold up here and make sure everything runs smoothly."

Ralph hummed and nodded, looking over the moving and shifting crowd. "That's good. I'm glad you're doing okay…"

There was a lull in the conversation as the two men silently watched over the crowd. "I need to ask something, Ralph…" The donut cop looked up at the wrecker, his sunglasses glinting in the light. "How… How did you live with everything before you showed up in our game?"

The wrecker shrugged, eyes still scanning the crowd. "I guess it was part of me not wanting to be left homeless. Another part did care for everyone in Fix-It Felix, and putting them all through an unplugging just didn't seem worth it. Plus, I had Tapper to talk to, and I had my little spot all to myself."

His face fell as he looked down. "But… Eventually it did start to wear on me. I ended up falling asleep in Tapper's washroom a few times, but I just choked it up to me being tired from a rough day at work. But, looking back, I know I was just depressed. And it slowly started to get worse… Till I got that bit of drive to prove Gene wrong. That I wasn't just some bad guy…"

The donut cop frowned. "Well… That gives me a whole new perspective when you showed up as that taffy monster." He dryly chuckled, wiping his eyes without moving his sunglasses. "I can tell you were on your way to do something?"

The wrecker nodded. "I was. Now, I don't want you telling anyone else except Duncan, okay? Namely anyone else from Sugar Rush."

Wynnchel looked up at Ralph. "Huh?"

The nine foot man leaned down and lowered his voice. "Me, Felix, Calhoun and Vanellope, after I tell her, are heading into the internet to get a new steering wheel for Sugar Rush. Remember…" He saw the hope building on the donut cop's face. "Don't tell anyone else but Duncan, got it?"

Wynnchel nodded rapidly. "You got it, Ralph. And, hey, I'll make sure me and Duncan keep an eye on the others. And… hey." Ralph gave him a look, and the donut smiled gratefully. "Thank you, and good luck."

"Will do, Wynnchel." The wrecker stood up and continued along his way, bobbing and weaving through the crowd as he made his way over to the entrance to his own game. As he walked, careful not to push anyone over, he glanced over at the entrance to the WiFi router. He shot it a determined glare as he passed under the brass entrance.

As he climbed up the steps and boarded the train, he let his mind work at how he was going to explain to Vanellope. It needed to make sense, but also get the importance and potential danger across clearly. Especially the latter so the other racers, if they overheard, didn't get any ideas to chase after them.

As the tram pulled into Niceland, the wrecker had come up with an idea, and decided it was perfect. So with a great amount of determined energy, he made his way over to his home, his steps confident and face stoic and hopeful. as he neared, he was surprised to so Swizzle, Gloyd and Rancis in the front yard playing a game of catch. They faced the wrecker as he approached, and they all smiled.

"Hey there, Ralph!" Swizzle said with a confident smirk, tossing the ball into the air repeatedly. "Feel better after a root beer binge?"

Ralph rolled his eyes with a light smile. "Yeah, yeah…" He gave them a stern look. "I need to talk to Vanellope about something. Where is she?"

"All the girls are inside watching a movie the three of us weren't interested in", Gloyd said with a shrug. "So we let them be."

"Okay, cool." The wrecker moved closer to the front door, then paused. "How are you three doing, anyway?"

They all shrugged silently, not fully answering the question, which made the wrecker's mood dip a bit. But he shook his head and pushed it aside and headed inside. The trio of boys followed him inside as all the girls looked up at him in surprise.

All of them we huddled up on the couch, with Vanellope sandwiched between Jubileena and Citrustella and wrapped up in a blanket like it was a cloak.

"Hey, kids, is it okay if I borrow Vanellope for a moment?" The wrecker asked sweetly as Creumblina paused the movie they were watching. It looked like it was Tangled.

"I'm not much in the mood to move, Stinkbrain", the president said in a scratchy voice. She looked up at her friend, and her eyes looked so drained as tear stains were glued to her cheeks.

This shifted Ralph'S mood instantly. "Woah, hey, what happened?" He knelt down and put a gentle hand on the racer's shoulder. She muttered something inaudible and looked off to the side, avoiding the man's concerned eyes.

"A lot happened when you two talked", Taffyta said with a quiet voice. "She's… Still beat-up about all of this…"

Ralph frowned and looked at Vanellope with reassurance. "I just feel like I should be doing something… more…"

The wrecker smiled a bit. "Then you're going to love what I'm going to tell you."

That made the mood shift, and all the racers looked up at him in surprise and hope. Ralph smiled and moved back a bit, giving off an almost fatherly aura. "So, while I was at Tapper's, Felix and Calhoun showed up. They were tired, and we were all down. But then Felix said something that made things click."

Ralph pointed at Vanellope. "We came up with an idea, and we need you along for it. So, kid, what do you say?"

Vanellope, and all the other racers, looked horribly confused. "Huh?" They all said together.

"Aka…" Ralph continued with a dramatic pause. "Me and you are joining Felix and Calhoun to head into the internet to get Sugar Rush a new steering wheel!"

Everyone's eyes bugged out, and some of the racers even let out gasps. Vanellope's eyes bugged out and she shot up, the blanket being thrown off and onto the coat hanger by the door.

"WHAT?!?!" She cried out. "WE'RE ACTUALLY DOING IT?!"

"You know it kid!" The wrecker smiled happily, pointing his finger to the roof. "So you better get ready, Van, because we're about to blast off!"

All the racers began to look extremely excited and giddy, cheering on the duo as the president jumped onto the floor, looking like, well… A kid that was told they were going to a theme park. She glitched in a single blink onto Ralph's shoulder.

"Then why are we just standing around for?" She cheered. "Let's go! We got a game to save."

Ralph nodded. "For the rest of you, stay here. Don't burn my house down, behave, and cheer us on!"

The racers all started getting more excited, and all nodded at the basic orders. The wrecker smiled down at them, and went to leave the house.

"WAIT!" A voice called out, making the mountain man stumble, which nearly threw the candy president to the ground. The duo turned around, and everyone looked at Taffyta, who was giving Ralph a pointed glare.

She was silent for a moment, twirling a lollipop between her fingers. "I'm coming with you."

"Taffyta, no-" The wrecker started, before being cut off.

"If she's going then so are me and Rancis!" Candlehead exclaimed loudly, pulling a very confused Fluggerbutter right next to her. "Please, can we come Ralph? Pleeeaaassse?"

The wrecker tried not to crumble under her puppy dog eyes, while the other racers all looked at Taffyta in confusion.

"Why do you want to go so badly?" Snowanna asked, putting her hands on her hips.

"Yeah, I'd think you'd want to just relax here", Minty said in confusion.

"Well, I want our game back as much as the rest of you", Taffyta said with a pointed look. "But I just feel like these two will need as much help as they can get. So I'm going with them, no matter what anyone says." She pointed at Candlehead and Rancis. "And they're coming with me."

Ralph opened his mouth to shut all of this down, but was stopped when Vanellope covered it. "Ralph, Chumbo, Ham-Hands… I say they should tag along. It's their game as much as it is mine, so they should get to help. I know the internet could be… who knows how dangerous. But you'll need drivers if we get caught in a race or car chase."

The wrecker looked horribly conflicted, but when he looked down at the trio that walked ahead of the group, he sighed. "Okay, you three can come. "They smiled, although Rancis' was more nervous. "BUT!" They faltered at his volume. "You three stick close to me, Felix or Calhoun, got it? We don't want to lose you kids."

They nodded. "Don't worry, Ralph, we'll stick close", Rancis said with a nervous waver in his voice. "Besides… I'd rather do this than be coped up in the arcade while you guys are saving the day and everything."

Ralph sighed, then turned back towards the door. "Okay, you three get to tag along."

"Hang on!" Gloyd suddenly shouted. He tossed something at Taffyta, and the racer caught it and looked it over. Vanellope glanced at it, and saw it was one of their walking-talkies. "Just so you guys can keep us updated."

"Thanks, Gloyd", Taffyta said, passing the device to Candlehead. The green-haired hair stuck it in her coat, and the group of five left the house. The sounds of the other racers cheering them on and bidding them farewell echoed across the forever night lawns, and the racers on the journey to the internet looked back and waved.

Ralph glanced at Vanellope, smirked, then spun around and lifted her up. The racer cried out in shock as the wrecker lifted her high above and started skipping backwards, smiling brightly at the other racers at his home. They all laughed and cheered louder, before they vanished from sight as they neared the station.

Ralph let all the kids board first before climbing on himself, and relaxing as the old tram chugged back towards GCS. He sighed as he glanced at the racers. The four of them were already discussing and plotting what they could do when they got into the internet.

As the cord dipped down, Candlehead looked up at him. "So, where are we going on the internet exactly?"

"Tapper tipped us off that there's an extra steering wheel on a website called EBay." The wrecker paused to scratch his nose. "So when we get into the internet, we'll figure out how to get there, get the wheel, and head back home. If we're lucky, it won't even take a day!"

"Pretty optimistic, huh Stinkbrain?" Vanellope said with a smirk, although there was a hint of a forcefulness to it. "Because knowing how slow you are normally, I wouldn't be surprised it's Christmas by the time we get back."

The other three racers all burst out laughing, and the wrecker shot his friend a very pointed look. Things became calm again as the tram pulled into the other end, and Ralph was beginning to wonder how often he's been travelling throughout the arcade just over the last few days alone. It was somewhat comical.

The quintet climbed out of the tram and entered GCS proper, quickly noticing a small crowd having formed around the entrance to the WiFi router. They all shared confused looks and made their way over, weaving passed the crowd until they reached the front. Felix was there, looking mildly uncomfortable from the stares, but relaxed as Ralph walked up next to him.

"What's going… on…" The wrecker asked only to trail off as he saw Calhoun and Surge caught in a silent argument. "Oh, so that's what's happening, okay."

"Tammy has been trying to convince Surge", the handyman said, wringing his hat and wincing as he heard Tammy spit something especially aggressive at the security guard. "But he won't budge. And now she's getting upset, and I know to just let her get it all out."

"Hmmmmmm…" Vanellope hummed. She then faced her fellow racers. "You three ready to enact the 'puppy dog' play?"

"Oh definitely, Prez", Taffyta said, pulling the lollipop out of her mouth with a pronounced pop. "Let's break this man."

The quartet skipped up innocently towards the arguing adults, an action that made the wrecker and handyman share confused looks. They went back to watching the scene extra carefully, keeping a close eye on the racers.

The kids all stood next to the arguing adults, who stopped and looked down at them. "Look, kids…" Surge said as he pinched the bridge of his nose. "I get you want to get a new steering wheel, but I just can't allow anyone to go into the internet."

"Cool, yeah", Vanellope said with zero effort. "But have you considered…" Just then, all four kids looked up at Surge with the widest, saddest eyes imaginable. The security guard's whole visage visibly almost immediately crumbled. "You don't want us to all be homeless forever, so pleeeeeaaaaasssse let us save our game."

Ralph covered a smirk forming on his face with a hand and looked to the side slightly, trying not to laugh at the whole situation. Out of the corner of his eye, he could see the crowd was all shooting Surge glares and disappointed frowns, which made him crumple more.

"L-Look, I understand what you want to do…" He was sweating bullets, and when he looked down at Candlehead, her nearly tear stricken face finally made him crack.

With a long and loud sigh, Surge slumped in defeat. "Alright, fine, you can go into the internet and get the steering wheel. I'm not going to stop you, because I'd rather not be painted public enemy number one."

The racers all immediately stopped the cutesy look and shared high-fives. "The teary eyed look always works", Candlehead whispered with a smirk.

Calhoun huffed as Surge walked off and the crowd dispersed, only to glance at the racers, the Ralph. "How come we've got three extras tagging along, Wreck-It?"

"They were insistent", the wrecker said as the four kids ran inside, ripping past the police tape. "Plus, Vanellope said they could come, since it's their game at the end of the day."

The sergeant hummed. "Well, as long as they know not to run off, then we'll be fine."

"I'm sure they'll be sweethearts, Tammy", Felix said as the three adults followed after the kids. "Plus, it's good to get as much help as we can with this. This isn't like fixing a building or blasting a swarm of Cy-Bugs. All of us are entering unknown territory."

"Which is why we need to be always ready for anything to happen." Calhoun stormed up the steps, adjusting her armour as Vanellope flipped the switch to send the platforms back in the other direction. The four racers boarded one of the platforms, and the three adults quickly boarded the one behind them.

As they moved along, Calhoun and Felix looked back as the way they came became smaller and smaller. "This'll be the furthest any of us have been from the arcade, I can say that confidently."

Ralph held back a wince, simply giving his brother a quiet nod as to not seem suspicious. Calhoun hummed in agreement and looked down the way they were heading. "It's going to be a big adjustment, because we don't fully know the rules. So when we first show up, I don't want us doing anything that could land us in trouble."

She looked up at the kids. "You four get that?"

The racers all nodded. "Don't worry, Calhoun", Vanellope said with a confident smirk. "We know not to go crazy. We'll stick close by."

"Good." She looked up as the cord angled in that direction, and she frowned lightly as she stared at the bottom of the platform above. "I'm not a fan of this transport system. It feels too… unfavourable to large crowds."

"I have to agree, Tammy…" Felix glanced off the edge of their platform back down. "Maybe if things work out, I could work on making a proper train for this place."

"Or make two different paths", Ralph suggested with a shrug. "Have one go up and one go down, like a set of escalators. That way it works better for everyone, and is more convenient."

"Good idea, Ralph!" The handyman jumped over next to his wife happily. "We could make it a collaborative effort with everyone!"

"I wouldn't be against that!" Candlehead shouted down happily.

"Yeah, I guess me and Taffyta could help out too…" Rancis said thoughtfully as the platforms levelled out again.

The whole group's conversation petered out as they all headed into the router proper. The racers ran ahead, giggling and laughing as they ran around the massive empty space. The married couple slowly walked next to the wall length window, taking in the view of the whole arcade. And Ralph headed straight to that weird and mysterious raised platform that was so mysterious the last time he was here.

He looked around the whole thing, eyed the strange device above, and the closed hatch at the end on a wall. It seemed like some sort of entrance, but how it worked was a complete mystery.

The quartet of racers all came up next to him, and they all looked around with him to figure out an answer.

Candlehead walked towards just before the closed hatch, looking down and standing on what looked to be an off panel of light. "Hey, guys, this looks like a welcome mat!"

"It's not a welcome mat, Candle", Taffyta spat an annoyance. "It's just some bit of glass. Now c'mon, we need help figuring out how to turn this on."

The semi-ditz pouted, and took a step forward, only for that to have her go right on the exact spot to light up the panel. The others at the end of the platform all snapped their heads up in shock as Candlehead was magically picked up and quickly encased in some clear, digital capsule.

"Candlehead!" Ralph cried, catching the attention of Felix and Calhoun. The wrecker ran up, stumbling a bit as the hatch opened, and some sort of energy field wrapped around the back of the capsule.

"Ralph!" The girl cried, only for the capsule to be fired down the newly opened tunnel, the shockwave sending Ralph flying back. In a desperate attempt to do something, the racers all ran up to the panel, and one by one followed after their friend. Each of them were sealed in capsules and were fired down the tunnel.

Felix and Calhoun ran over and helped Ralph up to his feet, and they all ran up to the panel. "Are we following them?" The handyman asked.

"Of course, Fix-It!" The sergeant barked desperately. "C'mon, ladies, we have three troublemakers to catch!" She ran ahead and let herself get sealed in a black capsule, before being fired off.

Felix was next, getting sealed in a blue capsule and cried out in terror as he was launched down the tunnel.

Ralph was last, being lifted up and shoved into a capsule that was much too small for him. He let out a muffled cry as he was shot down the tunnel, going at such supersonic speeds that he was blinking in and out of consciousness. He was trying to stay awake, listening to the cries of distress from his friends, but when the tunnel became nothing but rapidly changing colours, he blacked out completely.

~X~

Ralph felt a sharp pain as he finally came to, and opened his eyes. Groaning, he pushed himself back up and shook his head, blinking as his eyes adjusted to the bright light. Felix and Calhoun came into view, looking down at him in worry as the four racers stood behind them, looking around the space they were in.

The wrecker stood up, adjusted the single strap of his overalls, and shook his head. "Okay! I'm back. Where the heck are… we…?" Ralph trailed off as his head fully started to take in where they were. There were stores all over, almost resembling the inside of… the Hub, which gave him a lot of bad flashbacks. Glancing at Vanellope, he could see she was thinking the same thing.

"Okay, so we're all in one piece, that's the most important part", Calhoun said firmly. "Which means we need to establish what we need to do next. Because we are now officially in no-man's land."

"Maybe we should head out and see how things are", Felix suggested. "Maybe we're high up?"

"Good call, Fix-It." The sergeant led the group towards the large open entrance to the building. As the group walked on, passing by a bunch of short people of varying appearances with cube heads, Vanellope glitched onto Ralph's shoulder, seemingly uncomfortable as she looked back into the centre area.

"Ralph… I don't like how that place looked so… similar to 'you-know-where'." The racer whispered, looking a bit ill.

"I'm with ya' kid. It makes me wonder if… If it followed us here…"

"That'd be terrifying…"

The duo fell silent as the whole group walked up to the ledge with a railing. The group all looked over the sight, and all their jaws dropped.

It was a sprawling city that stretched on for forever, with company logos and advertisements flashing everywhere on any surface available. Small weird looking cars moved along electric blue tracks in the massive streets. More of the strange little humans walked about, their expressions fixed in smiles and robotic movements, like the nicelanders, only with more smooth movements.

The group continued to stare out to the massive city before them, which made Vanellope start to glitch a bit.

"Oh, wow. That's… that's a lot", she said in a strained tone that slowly built up. "That's a lot of people and websites and roads and… and…" She started to devolve into a broken mess of pixels. "How are we supposed to find Ebay in all of that?! We could be at this for weeks, months, years! How-"

"Vanellope, get a hold of yourself!" Taffyta shouted firmly. "We'll figure something out."

"Yeah, we just need to think positive and clearly", Felix said with an encouraging smile.

The candy president sniffled and wiped her eyes as the wrecker set her down on the ground. Immediately, Rancis and Candlehead glommed her into a hug.

"Yeah, you don't need to freak out, kid", Ralph said warmly. "I bet, if this place is like GCS, there might be someone around who could help…"

"Good thinking, Wreck-It", Calhoun said. She pulled out three walkie-talkies and split them amongst the group. "We'll split up and search around. Me and Fix-It will head back into the main building, while you five split up and search out here. Remember, don't go far, and don't talk to strangers." That last bit was obviously directed at the kids, who all nodded rapidly.

With the handheld devices handed out, the group all split up, with Ralph and Vanellope heading right. Outside of the massive central building was almost like a strip mall. Weird and small store-front like websites lined the path as hundreds of the small people marched about, almost as if they were on set paths. It was bizarre.

"Are these guys even alive?" Vanellope asked as she walked in front of Ralph. "Because I'd argue Zombie and his weirdo friends from House Of The Dead are more alive than these freaks."

Ralph looked down at her in surprise. "That was unnecessarily cruel coming out of you, kid."

"Yeah, well even though I feel better than before I'm still a bit nervous. And all these emotionless robots don't help at all."

The wrecker hummed and looked around. "I want to bet these are users, like that FPS bot back in Hero's Duty. They're just… Representation of the people."

"I guess…" Vanellope grumbled, shoving her hands in her sweater pocket. She then looked back at her large friend. "Are we going to talk about how that place we first showed up in was almost exactly like the Hub? Because that really creeps me out with how similar they look."

Ralph nodded. "I'm definitely going to talk to Rainbow about this, because with how similar the resemblance was… it sent a chill up my spine. It's almost like all of this accidentally shows what could have been with the Convergence Universe."

Yeah, it's really uncanny…" The racer zipped over to a store and glanced in the window, seeing people a lot like Surge acting as staff as the users milled about and shopped. "I will say this place is cool. But it's not home."

"Then let's just try and see if maybe we can find something", Ralph said as he knelt down for a moment. The duo continued along their way, passing by the 'surge' beings as they ran stores or waved around weird looking signs as they heckled the oblivious bystanders. It was hectic, and a drastic contrast to the arcade and the Capital.

It was like a bazaar filled with stall owners trying to get you to buy their wears.

As the duo explored the place more, Ralph felt a vibration could be felt in his overalls' front pocket. Thinking it was the walkie-talkie Calhoun had handed him, so he reached in and pulled out… his phone. Glancing at the distracted Vanellope, he answered the call he was receiving and pulled the device up to his ear.

"Hello?" He said, which made Vanellope look up at him in confusion.

"Hey there, Ralph", a familiar voice said through.

"Jenny?" The racer looked up at the wrecker in shock, and a little bit of fear. Ralph was a bit worried, but continued the talk as the duo moved out of the main path. "How's it going?"

"It's going good, kind of boring. I'm just at the castle getting ready to have a girl's weekend with the other gals, and when I showed up… Caleb said that you guys would be busy for a while."

Ralph tensed a bit. "Did he specify what we were doing?" He shared a glance with Vanellope, who looked even more distressed than before.

"No, he didn't. Said it was something really private, though. So whatever it is, I hope you two are doing okay!"

The wrecker relaxed, which made the racer calm down. "Okay, cool. Thanks, Jen. And I hope you and the other girls have fun!"

"Thanks Ralph! Hopefully things go okay." There was a pause. "Oh yeah. And tell Vanellope that Hilda misses her."

The call hung up before Ralph could say anything else, so with a sigh he stuffed his phone into his pocket. He was quiet for a moment before looking down at his friend. "Hilda misses you, so make sure when all of this is over, you tell her about this."

"I will, Ralph, I will." She sighed, leaning against the wall. "Let's just do one thing at a time."

The wrecker nodded and took a step forward, only to stop when Calhoun's voice came through the walkie-talkie. The duo gained their full attention on the device as Ralph pulled it out of his back pocket and held it up to his mouth. "Hey, what's the eta, sarge?"

"Follow the GPS on the communicator to our location, I think the other kids found something."

The call ended, and the duo ran off, with Vanellope leading the way with the walkie-talkie all the way to where the others were. They were standing by a bench by some screens playing ads, and all watched the duo as they joined back up.

"So what did you guys find?" Vanellope asked, hopping next to Taffyta.

"That place." The other racer pointed at a small open stall labelled 'Knowsmore', with a short purple man in graduation garb messing with the books behind the desk. "We saw someone talk to that Knowsmore guy, he 'found' what they wanted, and then they went into those weird cars running along the tracks."

"Which means this must be a search engine", Calhoun said sternly. "I've heard of them, so if we need to get to Ebay, this guy is our best bet."

Ralph hummed and walked past the group, heading straight towards the search bar. As he approached, the short purple man looked over, and his eyes gleamed with joy.

"Ah, hello sir!" The short man said happily. "Welcome to my humble search bar! My name is Knowsmore, how may I help you today?"

"Okay, cool. Uh…. Can you help me find E-" Ralph was quickly cut off when Knowsmore started rambling.

"Escalator; Entry; Espresso-"

"Wait-"

"Wait For U by Future; Waiting for the train; Waiter-"

"No-"

"No Frills; Northern Lights; Knowledge definition!"

Ralph fell silent and gave Knowsmore a flat look, putting his hands on his hips. The other, which had since surrounded the wrecker, all looked at the short man with varying looks of confusion and shock.

"Is this normal for people in the internet?" Candlehead asked innocently.

Knowsmore deflated. "My auto-fill is being a touch aggressive today…"

"Here, let me try…" Vanellope walked up, briefly looked down at the screen in the centre of the desk, and looked back at the bar owner. "Ebay Sugar Rush Steering Wheel."

The president tapped the screen, and Knowsmore freaked out as all his books blinked a variety of colours. After a moment, he looked down at his own screen. "Oh, there's only one result for your inquiry."

The whole group looked down at the screen, and saw what they were here for: A listing for a new wheel that looked exactly like the one that was lost.

"Nice job, kid!" Ralph said. He looked back up at Knowsmore. "Hey, Knowsmore, thanks for this. We do need two of those… cars, though. One for the kids, one for us adults."

"Just select you search and you'll be taken right there." The search bar owner smiled, seemingly not thanked enough.

Vanellope did as she was told, and a small vehicle was created that all the racers climbed into. Immediately after, Felix hit the option and spawned a vehicle for himself and Calhoun. As they climbed in, Ralph held onto the back, deciding it was more efficient.

When everyone was settled, they were off, waving Knowsmore goodbye and thank you as they left.

The search bar owner waved them back, a smile on his face. "What lovely people. I wish more people could be more like them…" He went back to his work, his spirits now lifted.

Chapter 5 is here, and the gang are in the internet! This was a fun one, as it was just Ralph and Vanellope having a lot more moments together, with Calhoun having some moments to shine, Felix being the sweetheart he is…

And, yes, have Taffyta, Rancis and Candlehead tag along. My logic for this decision is that the racers have been making up for the fifteen years of lies over the current six years, so of course Taffyta and her two friends would grow really close with Vanellope.

And, since I ditched the whole adoption thing, I decided this was the best course of action to take. Sugar Rush is their game too, and giving them this as a way to develop their characters rather than having them change into something completely different off-screen (I really hated the ending of that whole sub-plot in the OG movie).

So the three most prominent racers next to Vanellope are here along for the ride. And the others will show back up at the end, but mainly periodically throughout the story thanks to that special walkie-talkie Gloyd gave Taffyta.

So keep an eye on that!

Up next: The gang finds themselves at the massive hub called Ebay, only to find that getting the steering wheel will be so much more complicated than they thought…
