Hai! I don't really have much to talk about before the chapter other than this.
A second go at the discord link. /qTv9PrDuGH
There, hopefully that will work for more people this time. Well done to the one person who managed to get in with the last attempt! It was nice to see someone put in some effort to recreate the link :)

Guardian's Academia
Chapter Fourteen: Triumphant Return
"Well done guardians, we have teams dropping in now to secure the location. Come home and rest, you have all done very well today. I will have your payment and some new gear waiting for you when you arrive" Zavala informed the fire team. "Thank you sir, Fire team Horizon out" Tempest replied before cutting the line. "Alright, everyone up for a celebration tonight?" she asked turning to her squad "I feel like I could sleep for a week after that, but if there's food I'm in" Kanohi replied as she flopped onto the ground beside Mori. "A celebration sounds like a fine idea!" Arthur laughed as he clapped Dabi on the back, the burned man being launched forward a step and rubbing his back as he glared at the laughing titan. "Sure, I'll come along to keep the kids out of trouble" he replied. "Alright, how about we get outta here first though" Kale said with a smirk as he removed his helmet. "Good idea, call in the ships Jay" Tempest said to her ghost "Let's move out"
As Kale turned to walk back to the entrance Morimitsu got a look at his back and winced, all his armour and his cape had been burned away and the armour plating on his lower back was completely shattered. "Yo Kale, you okay there?" Dabi asked as he spotted the hunters damaged back. The Exo turned and looked over his shoulder at the burned man "Well... I'm damaged so not at a hundred but I'll live if that's what you're asking?" he replied "It's not that ba..." the hunter coughed as he spoke and oil and hydraulic fluid spewed from his open mouth, the entire group gasped and Arthur stepped toward the hunter. "That's not great" Kale said, his voice distorting as he spoke "Guess I might be more hurt than I thought" he laughed lightly at his own joke before falling into a coughing fit. Arthur supported Kale's right side while Kanohi rushed forward and took his left, the hunter was half carried half dragged between them as the group moved back to the cave exit. "Mori, Dabi. With me, we clear the way for them" Tempest commanded as she raced ahead, the two nodded at each other and ran after her.
The moment the group exited the cave Jay spoke up "Jump-ships are receiving signal, activating auto pilot and calling them to us" Tempest nodded confirmation "Tower this is Fire-team Horizon, we have one guardian heavily injured and are making an immediate extraction. We cannot stick around to help other teams secure the area" the warlock stated firmly leaving no room for arguments. "Copy that Horizon, another team can be called in to take that task off your hands. Get home safely, oh! And beware, Fallen have been sighted in the area. You may not be alone so keep your guard up out there" Cayde replied in a rushed tone. "He must be busy over there" Solasi commented "Keep an eye on the trees yea? Fallen can blend in pretty well" Morimitsu nodded and scanned the trees on the other side of the low canyon. The sound of a jump-ship's engines could be heard slowly getting louder in the distance "Ship will be here soon" Jay informed the group "Good, how's he holding up?" Tempest replied as she turned to look at the three slowly exiting the cave. "He'll live, but hes clearly in pain. The darkness here is stopping Yael from healing him effectively" the warlock raced back to the three "I'll take him from here, thank you Kanohi" she said as she traded places with the girl who was clearly getting a bit tired from carrying the heavy Exo. "No problem" she replied as she put her hands on her knees and tried to catch her breath.
'It's too quiet, I don't hear birds anywhere' Morimitsu thought to his ghost 'You're right... OH SHIT' Solasi panicked "Tempest I think the Fallen are nearby!" she called to the team leader, the warlock turned around to look at the feline and then drew her sidearm with her spare hand "KANOHI!" she yelled raising the weapon, Morimitsu spun and saw a Fallen captain had the silver haired girl held in a headlock with a shock pistol to her head "Lay down your weapons or this one dies! You won't be able to stop me crushing the little machine either" the massive alien roared shoving the pistol into Kanohi's chin. "Damnit..." Tempest muttered "Horizon, stand down. Alright Fallen what do you want?" she asked as she lowered her own pistol and holstered it. "Oh that... that's simple" it replied gleefully as it's head turned to Morimitsu "You took one of my family and scarred my face. Time for payback" it laughed and pressed the pistol into Kanohi's throat and slowly started pulling the trigger.
"NARVIIS!" A voice boomed from above, the Captain froze and looked up. Morimitsu followed his gaze and saw a far larger fallen leap from a drop-ship and land between the guardians and the fallen, the massive alien landed with a shock wave kicking up dust and raised a wire-rifle at the Captain "You would DARE to hunt in MY territory? And you hunt down those who clear the Vex from my land! You little runt, Release the guardian Immediately!" the captain who Morimitsu now knew as 'Narviis' glowered at the larger fallen "You would defend these dead things, these Humans? Who's side are you even on!" Narviis yelled as he aimed his pistol at the larger fallen. "I side with my people, and those who would defend them. Unlike you... Brother" the last word was spat with a venomous tone. "Besides, not only should you be more careful where you hunt. But also try to pick prey you can handle" the fallen almost sounded amused as it lowered it's rifle. Narviis was confused until a tendril of blue energy wrapped around his throat and dragged his head forward and down. He lost his grip on Kanohi as she tipped him off balance and used his height to throw him over her shoulder and onto the ground. She picked up her scout rifle and aimed at the fallen Captain's head but the larger fallen spoke. "Do that and I will be forced to return the favour" it warned in a low tone. Kanohi didn't take her sights off the Captain but moved far from him as he stood back to his feet. "There does not need to be any bloodshed today, or in the near future. I hope we can have a truce while we clear out the Vex? What do you say God Slayer. Wouldn't want to fight a battle on two fronts would we?" the fallen had turned to face the warlock "...I think that would be for the best. I can only speak for my own team... But I will inform the Vanguard of your request, should we meet again I will give you their answer then" Tempest said slowly as her jump-ship landed kicking up dust behind her. "Then we have an agreement, May the light guide you Guardian" the fallen bowed in respect and slung their rifle over their shoulder before turning and walking slowly back into the tree line. "Time to go" Tempest instructed.
The flight back was quiet, Both Kanohi and Morimitsu had been running on adrenaline and were now fast asleep. Each of them had their head resting on on of Dabi's shoulders, the burned man looked pretty ragged himself. Once they left the forest the darkness had subsided and Yael and Arthur's ghost Cali and set to the task of slowly and carefully reconstructing the hunter's torso. The damage was far worse than anyone could see, a spread shot of energy bolts having melted through and dug far into his body. The hunter was no longer coughing anything up but it was clear by the expression on his face that it was not comfortable in the slightest. Tempest sighed beside Solasi and turned back to the flight controls "Kale" she called while checking the maps "Yea?" he replied nervously. The ghost looked back and forth between the two wondering what was about to happen. "Remember what I said before we started the mission?" the warlock asked "Of course, I kno..." Tempest cut him off "Forget about it, I'll buy tonight. You save for some new armour" the hunter smiled and scoffed "Alright, but I'm gonna pay you back. I always pay my debts" he stated stubbornly "I'm fine with that" she replied. There was a short silence before the hunter spoke again "And. Thank you, all of you. It's nice having someone to watch your back" Tempest smiled slightly while Arthur gave a short laugh "Thought I already told you that"
The ship fell into a comfortable silence as the ghosts worked, Dabi was getting a bit bored and decided to clean his rifle while he waited for the ship to get home. He was looking forward to a cold shower and some food. The burned man grabbed a rag and made sure the weapon was clear before he locked back the bolt and started carefully cleaning the inside of the chamber, he felt movement on his left shoulder and turned to look at Kanohi. The silver haired girl was stirring and looked like she might wake up any moment, Dabi kept cleaning his weapon but spoke when she suddenly stiffened up. "Morning sleepy head, we still have a ways to go till we get back. You can go back to sleep" he said quietly hoping not to wake the feline leaning on his right. When Kanohi didn't reply or move he glanced at her, her entire face was basically glowing red. "Uhh, are you okay there? You look like you're burning up" he said as he placed a hand on her forehead. "GET OFF ME!" she suddenly shrieked as she threw a punch at his arm, her tattoos glowed as she threw her arm forward. 'Oh shit' Dabi thought.
A crash echoed around the troop bay and everyone looked toward the source, a red faced Kanohi was standing with her arm outstretched while Dabi was crumpled in the corner by the door with Morimitsu crushed below him. "Ow, did you have to hit me so hard? You made me crush the poor kid" Dabi said as he carefully rolled to the side revealing a white eyed and unconscious Morimitsu. "Oh my gosh I'm so sorry" Kanohi said as she rushed over to help the feline back into his seat. The boy was completely out of it as Kanohi assisted him, his ghost floated over and scanned him. "He's fine, just stunned from the impact" she said before going back to the cockpit "How far out are we?" Tempest turned her head "Only five minutes out, get ready for a warm welcome" she said. Everyone started checking that they had all their gear and Dabi secured Morimitsu's weapons in their holsters as the feline blearily looked at him, the burned man looked at him and placed a hand on the feline's head. "Shh, go back to sleep kid. You need the rest" the feline nodded slowly before bowing his head and going back to sleep. Dabi knelt down next to the feline and brushed the hair away from his eyes "Kanohi" he said quietly "Hmm? What's up" the silver haired girl replied. "Either you gotta teach this kid to tie his hair up properly or you'll need to do it for him before missions, when he starts using his guns again this is going to get him killed because he can't see" he said motioning toward the guardian's long hair. "Hmm, I have wanted to style his hair for awhile" she mumbled to herself "Sure, I'll help him with it before dinner tonight. He'll be the prettiest guy you've ever seen" she grinned and Dabi shivered. 'What have I just brought down on the kid' he thought.
"We are on final approach, everyone get ready to disembark. And anyone who doesn't like attention. Sorry about this" Tempest called from the cockpit as she brought the ship into the hanger bay and put it down on the open platform. The doors slid open as the warlock walked into the troop bay and grabbed her rifle from the weapon rack and placed it on her back. Dabi knelt down and pulled the sleeping feline onto his shoulders, he grabbed his legs and stood with Mori held securely on his back. Tempest put her helmet on and punched the hatch release, the door hissed and the ramp descended to the floor where there were a large number of guardians and mechanics were cheering and trying to get Tempest's attention. The warlock led the way, not looking at any of them. Arthur looked at the crowd of cheering people "She doesn't like the attention she gets from her God-Slayer title, that's why she always wears her helmet in the tower when there are other guardians around. Let's her walk around unrecognised when she's off duty" he murmured to Kanohi and Dabi. The two of them looked at the warlock who was striding out of the hanger as fast as possible without seeming like she's in a rush. "Poor girl" Kanohi whispered "That's part of the reason for the voice changer too, hides her identity better" Dabi nodded and readjusted the feline on his back, he was stirring with the amount of noise. Arthur noticed the sleeping guardian's movement and turned to the crowds "Ahem. If you all wouldn't mind, we have some exhausted guardians here. Please keep the noise down" the titan's voice carried well in the open room and he didn't even have to raise his voice for it to be heard. Everyone's eyes were suddenly on Dabi and the sleeping Morimitsu, the burned man gave a scowl at the crowd and started walking again with Kale and Arthur flanking him on either side. Kanohi had jogged ahead to catch up to Tempest, the crowds quieted down and started to disperse as they left the hanger bay. "Thank goodness the little one didn't wake up, that would've been a terrifying thing to awaken to" Dabi nodded "No kidding, let's get him to bed as soon as possible" the group made their way to the command centre and arrived while Tempest was giving her report to the vanguard, Kanohi was just behind her and waved them in as they approached. "She's almost done, then we are free to go rest" she whispered the moment Dabi was close enough to hear. "Cool as" the burned man said. "Fire-team Horizon" Zavala said loudly, getting everyone's attention. "Yes Sir" they all chorused as they moved to the war table. "Your first mission w..." Dabi cut him off "Quietly please sir, he's exhausted and I'd like him to keep resting" Zavala raised an eyebrow at the interruption and the burned man began sweating nervously "Sorry sir" he said as he hung his head "No I should've been more aware. My apologies" the awoken man replied before continuing a bit quieter. "Your first mission together was a great success, not many fire teams make it back with zero casualties on the first go. Especially against enemies as dangerous as the Vex" the commander smiled "This team has great things ahead of them, I will be watching you all with great interest. Well done guardians" Zavala reached down and pulled up six bags and placed them on the table, then pushed them at Tempest. "Your payment and reward for a job well done, ten thousand glimmer an engram with a vanguard weapon for each of you. Think of this as our way of investing in your futures, thank you for your service. Dismissed" the titan said with a warm smile. "Thank you sir, we'll be on our way now" Tempest replied as she took the bags and turned to her team, handing one to each of them.
Dabi walked into the flat and Kanohi closed the door behind him, the silver haired girl immediately went into her room and closed the door. Dabi sighed and carefully placed Morimitsu on the couch before taking off his trench coat and throwing it next to the feline. The burned man stretched his arms up in the air and walked into his own room to take a shower "It was real nice of the vanguard to set this up for us so fast" he said as he looked around the small space. After awhile Dabi re-emerged with a fresh set of clothing and damp hair, he spotted Kanohi and was about to speak when she held a finger over her mouth and silently shushed him before waving him over. He shrugged and walked over to her quietly, the sight he saw was absolutely adorable. Morimitsu had curled up in a ball with his trench coat wrapped around himself, Dabi slowly drew his phone and opened the camera app to take a photo. A quiet click sounded and the burned man walked to the kitchen satisfied with the picture and potential black mail. It was nice to have these little moments of peace, he didn't have enough good memories. Kanohi joined him as he put the kettle on to make a coffee, another thing that had rubbed off on him. He had been raised drinking tea but the kid quite often had bought along a hot coffee for him before a long late night mission, the burned man had grown to like the drink and now defaulted to it often.
"We should take our rifles back to banshee to be looked over" Kanohi said as she grabbed three mugs from the shelf. Dabi looked at her sideways while he put some coffee into his mug "Agreed, those weapon jams could've cost us our lives if we didn't have a team to watch our backs" the Maori girl nodded as she prepared her drink and one extra for Morimitsu "You know he's asleep right" Dabi deadpanned at her as she poured the water into the mugs "Not for long, if I know him as well as I think I do. The smell of coffee already woke him up and he's debating coming over and making one for himself" she said, pouring milk into the drinks and stirring them. "Luckily for you, I already did that for you" she finished as she turned around with both mugs in hand. The feline guardian was poking his head over the end of the couch with bleary eyes and smiled at her, he mouthed a "thank you" at her and struggled to sit up as she walked over and handed one to him. Dabi finished making his drink and joined them, he chose to sit on the floor and leave the couch to the kids. "What I wouldn't give to have done this with Natsuo and Fuyumi, Shoto too..." Dabi mumbled under his breath while lost in thought. "What was that?" Kanohi queried now looking at him. "Hmm? Oh nothing, I was just thinking about the past" he took a sip of his drink and closed his eyes. "Well I want to know what I get from that engram" he said as he stood up and walked to the door and retrieved the two bags there. He threw one to Kanohi and then pulled the purple object from his own bag. "You got an engram? Nice" Mori signed after placing his half empty mug on the floor by his feet. Solasi appeared and materialised an engram into her guardian's lap "You got one as well, so did everyone else" the ghost said happily "I can help crack yours open Kanohi" the Maori girl pulled one from her bag and then crawled over to her armour and grabbed a second from a pouch on the belt before returning. "I actually have two, one from Zavala and the other fell from the corpse of a Vex" Solasi looked at her for a second "That's great news! You'll have even more gear to choose from now" she said before turning to her guardian and focusing her light on the engram in his lap. The small object deconstructed and reassembled into a short barrelled rifle with a magazine port in the stock and a magazine-like protrusion in front of the handle, there were two clear bubbles in the fake mag. It was fairly lightweight and when Morimitsu picked it up he liked the balance of the flat-nosed white rifle. "A hung Jury SR4, very versatile scout rifle that will serve you well in most situations. We will need to reconstruct the internals before using it with your void rounds, but considering how easy the blueprints are to find it shouldn't take long at all" Solasi informed him. A flash of light from across the table drew Morimitsu's attention as he watch a rotary grenade launcher land in Dabi's lap. "This is... An Outrageous Fortune. Solar rotary launcher... This is some major firepower Tou... I mean. Guardian" the orange and grey weapon was chunky and Dabi hefted it to hit shoulder with some effort, the weapon had two grey stripes running through the main orange body paint. All in all it was an imposing weapon, Last was Kanohi who placed her two engrams on the floor a couple feet apart. "Solasi, would you mind?" she asked "Of course, just a second" the ghost replied and started reconstructing the first one. A small sidearm appeared where the engram once was, the small weapon had a grey body with green highlights and a green suppressor on the barrel. Another flash signalled the second engram being decoded, a very chunky snub nosed weapon appeared on the floor beside the sidearm. It had the exact same paint job as Dabi's launcher but was far smaller by comparison, two barrels extended from the front of the rifle and there was a holographic sight on the top rail of the weapon. "A heliocentric sidearm and a Plug one.1 fusion rifle! That's going to be very useful on missions with heavy armoured targets at close range" Solasi said as she floated back to her guardian and started scanning his rifle. "We should give these a test run on our next mission" Dabi said as he opened the chamber "Damn... this must hit Hard" he said as he looked at the size of the slots for the grenades. "Yea, but it's going to slow you down a bunch. You'd better be a bit more careful whilst using that thing on missions" Kanohi said as she picked up the sidearm and drew the slide back "Meanwhile I get the tiniest little weapon possible, what could this possibly do?" she said while holding it up and looking down the sights toward the door. "Well..." Fizz started nervously "It is known to be able to take a type of round known as a solar infused high explosive dragonfly round. Basically a miniature explosive bullet, they are fairly expensive though" the silver haired girl stared at the ghost "This." the ghost bobbed in the air "Can take Explosive rounds?" "Yes" Fizz answered slowly. Kanohi looked at the small sidearm in shock "Okay I take it back I love this thing"
The tower was fairly busy with guardians walking around everywhere talking to all the vendors around and running to and from missions. Kanohi and Dabi had left Morimitsu to rest for awhile longer while they made their way over to Banshee, once they made it to the old gunsmith they found themselves waiting in line for a while. A hunter duo standing behind them in the line eventually spoke up "Hey, are you two new here? We haven't seen you around before" the awoken woman asked while the exo man stayed quiet. "Yea, got here a few days ago. The name's Dabi" the burned man replied extending his hand for the woman to take "Nice to meet you Dabi, wow your hand it hot. Is that normal?" Dabi nodded "Yup, comes with being a human fireball" he let go of the hunter's hand and lit hit own alight with azure flames "Wow that's sick" she exclaimed with wide eyes, she reached out to touch his fire and he extinguished it quickly "Are you crazy, don't just try to touch fire" the burned man said surprised "I use solar light all the time, I can handle it" she said "Do your flames burn you?" Dabi asked with a raised eye brow. "Of course not, that's ridiculous" she laughed "Then I guess your flames must be pretty cold then" Dabi said with a straight face "Try me" she said, then ignited her own hand with solar light. Dabi grabbed her hand again and felt the flames tickle him the slightest little bit. "As I thought, your flames are cold compared to mine. I disintegrate anything my flames touch" the hunter took a step back into her companion "For real?" she murmured. The burned man just pointed at his own face "Mmhmm, hurts every time" "Damn that's hardcore" she whispered.
"Next please, I don't have all day to wait for you" Banshee called, Dabi and Kanohi noticed that the line in front of them was empty now and they waved back to the two hunters and stepped up to the counter. "What can I help you two with" the old exo asked. Fizz appeared and materialised both of the rifles on the bench "Both of these guns jammed multiple times during our last mission, could you take a look at them for us?" the ghost asked. Banshee's eyes widened and he angrily looked down at the two rifles "Come get them tomorrow, I'm going to fully rebuild them myself. I'm so sorry about that, next time you come to buy a new gun I'll give it to you for half price" the old gunsmith said as he took the two rifles and placed them on the bench at the back of the shop. "Thanks Banshee, but you don't need to do that for us" Kanohi said "Yes I do. Sending a guardian out with a faulty weapon is the same as sending a guardian to their death. It is unacceptable, I will atone by giving you more weapons and keeping your current ones in the best possible condition I can. "Alright, thanks again. We will leave you to it" Dabi said. "Stay safe guardians" the exo man said as they walked away. "Nice meeting you two!" the awoken woman called to the pair as they walked away, Kanohi turned around and waved while Dabi just raised a hand over his shoulder in farewell.
Morimitsu opened his door and walked back into the living space in the middle of the flat, he looked around the silent room. He was going to have to collect some souvenirs to decorate the place. But first food, he was starving. The kitchen was fairly empty at the moment with only essentials and very few extras freely supplied to guardians. The feline boy opened the pantry and looked around for something to eat 'Rice... Noodles... Oats. Porridge?' he thought to himself 'Hey Sol?' he asked, the ghost materialised beside his head "I know what you're thinking, I'll get the stuff for you" the guardian grinned as his ghost floated up into the open cupboard and started flashing her light at different objects. Morimitsu turned around and searched for a pot and spoon, he found the items without much difficulty and placed the pot on the stove. 'Let's get started' he thought as all the ingredients he needed were placed on the bench next to him. His ghost looked at him and nodded at him. "Let's get started" she said as Morimitsu opened the oats bag with his claws.
When Dabi and Kanohi returned to their residence they were surprised to see Morimitsu standing by the stove stirring something in a pot, Solasi was hovering over his shoulder and giving instructions to the guardian who was absolutely focused on the food. "What's cooking! Thought we were going into the city for dinner to celebrate?" Dabi called as he removed his boots and stepped into the kitchen area. The feline jumped and raised the wooden spoon at the burned man before relaxing when he recognised who it was, he placed the spoon on the pot and punched Dabi in the stomach the moment he was close enough. Dabi doubled over and laughed as the feline stood over him angrily glaring at him "Okay okay, sorry for scaring you" he laughed as he stood back to his full height "Ooh, porridge? Smells good" he said as he walked past and grabbed the kettle and refilled it in the basin. "Anyone else for another coffee?" he asked, both Kanohi and Mori raised their hands
A few hours later the entire team had met up and were making their way into the city, Arthur was telling everyone about the place they were headed. It was a bar and restaurant that many guardians frequented, it was a well known place and Morimitsu was excited to see what it was like. When they arrived the bartender spotted them entering "Tempest! Arthur! Welcome welcome, come sit!" the tall man called as he placed a glass down on the counter. "Hey Ignar, how are things here?" Tempest replied as she moved to the table he was motioning to. Morimitsu paused to look around the establishment, there were small tables scattered around the entire place with chairs surrounding each of them. Most of the tables were full up with customers who were happily eating and drinking as they watched multiple large screens above the bar, some kind of guardian sport was about to start and Mori could see them getting ready to run with weapons in hand. Each screen had a different angle from cameras placed around the arena, everyone was waiting for the match to be called to start. A group of hunters had piles of glimmer on the table and were playing cards while they kept an eye on the screens "Fifteen hundred says the red team wins" one of them said as he prodded another with his elbow. "Nah, raise it to two thousand and blue wins for sure" the other replied as he placed a card on the table. "Bet" the first one said as he played a card of his own.
Morimitsu tuned them out and turned back to following Arthur who had stopped and turned to check on him, he waved apologetically and quickly followed the titan to their table. As he arrived at the table he took a seat between Dabi and Tempest. Kale, Kanohi and Arthur sat opposite and they were chatting quietly as Arthur looked through a menu booklet. "So this Crucible, it's a form of war game? Guardians fight each other for glory and riches while the city folk watch them for entertainment?" Kale turned to her "You picked that up quick, pretty much bang on. You just missed one thing, we fight to sharpen our skills as well. No better way to improve than by fighting others who can push us to our limits" the hunter said as he looked back to the screens. "It's starting" Mori turned his attention to the screens and saw the two squads take off at a dead sprint. As they neared the most open area of the arena they all slowed and split up to find cover, then all hell broke loose. The two teams spotted each other and opened fire, a red team guardian took two shots to the head and a pulse of light burst outward from him as he dove for cover. Two blue guardians pushed to finish the tagged hunter off but a grenade landing between them sent them both to the floor for another hunter to finish them off with a single bullet to each of their heads. A cheer chorused through the crowd and Kanohi gasped as she saw the guardians killed without hesitation "What the hell, you didn't say they were using live rounds" Kale looked at her sideways "Of course they are, getting used to dying is necessary for a guardian. As is getting used to killing, this sport prepares us for both! Two birds with one stone" the hunter grinned at her. Mori looked down at his hands and shivered. A hand landed on his left shoulder and he looked up at Tempest who was looking at him worriedly "Are you okay?" she whispered, he nodded lightly and looked back up just as a massive platter of food was placed on the table. "Eat up guardians! Tonight you celebrate, everything has already been paid for so feel free to eat and drink to your heart's desire" Ignar said joyfully. He was a fairly tall and muscular man with grey hair and a bushy beard and moustache, he wore a white tee shirt and black pants with a pair of clean dress shoes and white socks. He had a dark blue apron with the vanguard symbol on it over the top and a black hat on his head. He grinned from ear to ear as he walked away calling over his shoulder "I'll bring you all some drinks in a moment!"
When the chef got back with the drinks he placed some on each end of the long table. Arthur grabbed one and thanked the man before standing up and clearing his throat. "Guardians! Might I have you attention for a second" he spoke loudly enough that the entire crowd went silent and turned to look at him. "I would like to raise a toast to the successful formation of a fresh fireteam! We have returned from our first mission against the Vex without any casualties" the titan waved to the rest of the members at the table and then continued "I believe this is a moment worth celebrating and so I invite you all to join me in drinking to the future of this team and the last city. To Fire-Team Horizon!" he bellowed out. Not even a second later the entire crowd yelled in affirmation "Horizon! Horizon! Horizon!" then the room went silent as everyone took a long drink. Morimitsu grabbed one of the large glass mugs filled with an amber liquid when he saw Kanohi do the same, then he drank a few mouthfuls before putting the mug back on the table and coughing as the liquid stung his throat. 'What the hell was that' he thought to himself as Dabi placed a hand on his shoulder and looked at him worriedly "You okay kid, you shouldn't be drinking that stuff at your age" he said. Morimitsu felt a warm feeling settle in his chest and he stubbornly turned away from Dabi and started drinking again, the burned man managed to get the mug away from him and sat him back down "No more of that... Kanohi not you too" Morimitsu looked across the table to see the silver haired girl having a drink of her own "I've had alcohol before, kinda happens allot when you grow up like I did" Dabi deadpanned at her "That doesn't mean you should be drinking" he got up and walked around the table, Morimitsu used the opportunity to grab the mug again and finish it off before he dug into the food.
By the time the night was done Morimitsu had drunk a few mugs and was completely drunk off his face, he was barely able to walk straight and couldn't understand anything anybody was saying to him. He couldn't stop laughing at everything people said to him and Dabi was very careful to keep any more alcohol away from him, Surprisingly Kanohi was fine even after a few drinks and was able to walk home without support though she was also giggling at almost anything. At one point a titan had accidentally bumped into her and she'd tried to square up with the man, Arthur had ended that by picking her up and carrying her away from the confused guardian. When the group got back to their flat Dabi carried Morimitsu into his room and tucked him into bed, then he went to the kitchen and got a glass of water and placed it on the bedside table in his room. "I tried to warn you kid, don't blame me when you wake up okay" the guardian just giggled and closed his eyes cuddling down into the blankets.

Thanks for reading!
This one was fun to write, no massive action scenes but still good fun.
Hope you all enjoyed the read! And the next big fight is just around the corner... Once I run the Dnd style combat with my little siblings. Okay it might take a while...
