Eddie missed him. But the one thing that he did appreciate, was that Jake hadn't inquired about Danny. The guy hadn't asked one question about their relationship at all. Eddie couldn't tell if he was avoiding it, or if he was refraining from it out of respect. Either way, Eddie was grateful. He didn't want to justify himself, or explain things all over again. He could find time for that later. Right now he was just appreciative that Jake was helping him with this whole thing. Eddie needed to see Danny again.
