Should We Climb It - Ch 1

Five minutes later...

" So you are saying that you saw a huge tower when you were exploring the outside world and thought let's enter it? " asked the boy with a backpack looking at Naruto in disbelief

You may ask why in disbelief because, in his whole life, he has only seen two irregulars, one Baam the black-haired boy beside him, and Naruto, and on top of that it sounds like Naruto entered the Tower five minutes after Baam did

" Umm Naruto San... " Asked the hesitant boy getting everyone's attention

" Baam right? What is it " asked Naruto with curiosity he could see that Baam was more of a quiet type and wasn't much of a talker but maybe he was wrong it definitely wouldn't be the first time

" you said that you came from the outside world so I was wondering have you seen the stars you see my friend Rachel used to tell me stories about it so... " as Baam continued to talk he gradually started to look at his feet because he couldn't see his only friend, the only person that talked to him when he was still stuck in the cave

" Oh, I thought you would ask something else, why ask something so stupid," he said to himself not seeing Baams disappointed look Naruto's next words shocked not only him but also others except the Bunnyman

" of course, I have they are just flying racks even kids know that hey did you know that the Sun was also a star " he said while scratching the back of his head but stopping when he noticed that everyone was looking at him with shock

" what is it? You guys seem like you saw a ghost or something... " he asked not understanding why they were looking at him like that

" weit you really from the outside world like as in the real outside world " asked the black-haired girl Yuri Jahad if he recalled correctly

" ? Yes I thought I already said that I was from outside of the tower," Naruto said while titling his head on the right with a question mark appearing above it

It was the bunny man who answered " You see when we say the outside world we mean floor zero where all the regulars and irregulars come and then they either get chosen by the tower to climb it or enter it by opening the door themselves so when you say that you came from the real world... "

" Kurama is what the Bunny man says the truth? " he asked with a mental link to his lifelong companion

In mindscape " I don't sense any lies but be careful around him he is filled with negativity " answered Kurama sensing that there was something that bunny was not saying

" I think I understand but what I want to know is if anyone has ever reached the top of the Tower " Naruto was quick to change the topic to get more information

" ...yes there are quite a few people who have and they are called rankers I and my partner are high rankers who have reached the 99 floor of the tower "It was Yuri who answered this time and it seemed like she saw what he was doing

" Are you saying that there are only 99 floors? " Naruto asked

" Well no there are 100 floors but no one is allowed to enter the last floor King of Tower Jahad and leaders of the ten great families made the rule not to enter, but no one knows why they did that " Evan if he could recall correctly hey it was not his fault that he had a hard time remembering names

" ...so no one has entered the last floor, right? " he asked and smiled when he saw Yuri nod his head in agreement " Well Kurama it seems like we got ourselves a goal I would appreciate it if you tell others what we will do and who knows maybe they will have chance to spread their legs time to time "

" Got it Kit just don't do something stupid like last time " replied Kurama he couldn't help but jab at him

" Well now I understand everything I want to know so how do I start climbing up " asked Naruto with a huge smirk showing his sharp teeth at that moment he looked like a playful fox that seemed like it got a new toy

" Well Mister Naruto I was told that I have to pass a test by destroying that... " answered Baam while pointing at the floating orb

" first of all don't call me Mister it makes me feel old and second I heard that when you and Princess over there were talking," said Naruto while angering Yuri she has been called princess all the time but when the blond said that it pissed her off

" Whatever... " said Yuri while looking at Naruto and then at Baam she summoned a holder of some sort beside her it seemed like it had different kinds of weapons in it, she then took out one of the swords a katana from the looks of it, it was all black little bit smaller than normal one and handed over to him

" But princess you can't give that one away... " Evan tried to protest getting Naruto's attention could that sword be special like the swords of the mist it definitely had an aura of one

" don't worry I am just letting him borrow not giving it to him, he will give it back when we meet again " Yuri tried to calm down her friend/companion but he still was worried

" umm thanks, Miss Yuri," Baam said while taking the sword making the said person smile

" now kid I think it's time for you to start the exam," said Naruto with his foxy grin

Baam nodded and started to walk over to the gate this was it if he passed this he would be one step further to finding his friend, it didn't take even half a minute for him to get there

" So what do you think will he pass this test princess " asked the Bunny man who was looking at Baam who just entered the gate

" yes there is no doubt about it" answered Yuri with utmost confidence she then looked at Naruto and asked " What do you think? "

Naruto just smirked at her and answered " While he might look like much at first glance there is no doubt in my mind that he will "

" why such confidence in the boy " asked the bunny man

" ...because he has the eyes of a person who will do anything to succeed he has the eyes of a person who will never give up "Of course he believed in him he saw his genin self in his eyes and he was right because not even two minutes passed when Baam did something extraordinary...

It seemed like the sword that Yuri gave to him had a spirit of some sort and Baam was able to awaken it after that a huge bright light followed not as bright when Naruto opened the doors of the Tower but still bright and with that light, he was able to destroy the orb and damage the fish like a beast but it wasn't strong enough to kill it when the light died out Baam was gone it seemed like he passed...

" ...that was quite a spectacular sight," said Even quite surprised by Baams actions

Yuri was smiling ear to ear and said " You can say that again who knew that he would be able to awaken the black Marches spirit " She then looked at Naruto and asked "Since the erb is destroyed how are you going to pass the exam? "

Naruto shrugged his shoulders and looked at the bunny man " ...if you don't mind I can just fight whatever that is " he was pointing at now an awakened beast that seemed like it was already healed

The Bunny man didn't seem bothered and replied " I don't mind I was going to kill it myself since the orb is destroyed "

" Oh okay wish me luck, princess " As he said that he started to go inside the gate himself missing a small tint of red appearing on Yuri's chicks

When Naruto entered the gate he could see the best was looking at him it was like it was judging him " I want to finish this quick so how should I finish it off "

Kurama was the one to answer "Just use Rasenshurken and end it " Naruto had to smirk at that Rasenshurken was it then

" What is he doing just standing there " asked Evan looking at the blonde Yuri didn't answer her companion but she did see some kind of blue ball appearing in Naruto's hand she then saw the ball getting bigger with white disks appearing around it and making scratching noises

" what is that thing, what kind of Shinsu is he using " asked a captivated Evan saying something that was on Yuri's and Bunny Mans's mind

Naruto " Well sorry for keeping you so long " As he said that the best went straight at maybe it sensed the danger so it attacked who knows but Naruto didn't care he just threw the Rasenshurken at the coming beast and when it hit there was a huge air pressure like a tornado so everyone had to close their eyes and hold on to something to not get blasted off...

When the wind died down and they were able to open their eyes they saw a huge crater and only the best tail remaining all of them had the same thought " ...a Monster has entered the Tower... "
