Chapter 3: A Deathly Walk in the Park.

It was a bright and sunny day in heaven but then again it always is.

Birds chirping, wind rustling, excited voices of angelic beings talking about there bright and sun shinning day. It was quite the pleasant day in heaven, Especially within a lovely lush green park, where one could here the laughter of children playing games.

All except one little girl.

She had grey skin with short white hair which was quite messy, with bits of leaves and twigs in it. She had two grey little wings. She wore a adorable little blouse with a black skirt that went down to her knees with cute little polka dots on it but sadly a few tears in it also. She had tears in eyes as she held on to her arm which had a cut on it. Golden liquid could be seen trying to escape from a the small opening.

"Why does Lute have to be so m- mean to me?" the little girl said softly, her voice filled with sadness. "All I said is she shouldn't be so mean t- to everyone..." she continued to herself, tears rolling even faster down her cheeks.

"Vaggie!"

The girl became startled as she heard a voice calling out to her. The girl now known as Vaggie turned her head to the side to see a very tall pitch black figure coming toward her. One would think that such a being would bring a sense of fear to a young child.

But to Vaggie, It was nothing but warmth.

"Vaggie? Oh, Sweet heaven your..." The dark being spoke giving off a sound of relief as they ran up to the child only for their demeaner to change to concern as they looked at the disheveled child. "Vaggie, What happen? Your dress, Your hair. It's all a mess..." The being continued as he kneeled down next to the little girl.

"Papi..." The girl said, her voice quivering and tears dripping down her cheeks harder then before as she showed her wound to her 'papi'. "I'm s- sorry... I wasn't s- strong enough..." she managed to speak out.

The being, now to be known as the girl's father eyes widen, Shocked by her words. he looked at his precious little girl with great concern before quickly bringing her into a hug. The girl hugging back intensely feeling her father's warmth.

"Vaggie..." The father spoke out before trailing off as he held his little angel, His body glowed brightly giving off more warmth, Vaggie leaned into him as her small wound healed up.

"Mors! Did you find your runt?" Another voice called out from the behind the two. The father 'Mors' grimaced and then sighed as he got up while picking Vaggie up with him and holding her close to his chest protectively.

"Yes Adam I did and I would like you to reframe from calling my daughter a 'runt'." Mors said as he looked annoyed at a male angel called Adam who came in to the clearing with a child looking a little older then Vaggie following behind him.

"Woah, Hey bra chalax... Oh fuck, she looks like shit." Adam said rather bluntly. Mors then gave his fellow 'angel' a firm glare.

"No thanks to you Adam..." Mors growled out his voice low and threatening. "And how many times have I told you to not curse in front of children, Especially mine?" Mors continued as he tried to keep his anger in check for the sake of the children present.

Adam simple shrugged uncaring as he picked at his ear while saying "Psh, come on bro, A little curse here or there ain't gonna scar them for life or something, I mean we're already in heaven, who the fu-" Adam suddenly stopped mid sentence as the feeling of foreboding doom fell over him.

"I said mind your tongue Adam. Unlike the other angels, I am far less forgiving towards your childishness..." Mors said menacingly, not in the mood for more of Adam's inconsiderate behavior.

Vaggie, her tears finally dried up, looked at Adam with a frown. Vaggie didn't like Adam. Mostly due the fact that he always made her father angry in some way, which made her father's usually warmth become cold instead, almost deathly so.

Vaggie then looked down at the child next to Adam, Who was currently glaring at her. Vaggie became scared at noticing who it was. She then tugged on her father's robes getting Mors's attention, In which he looked down at his daughter seeing her scared look, giving him even more concern.

"Vaggie, What's wrong?" Mors asked softly to Vaggie, rubbing her arm to try and comfort her.

"W- Want go home..." Vaggie stuttered out as tears started to form once again while giving a few quick glances at the other child, Who was smirking at her wickedly.

Mors seeing the looks the two were giving each other made him narrowed his eyes at the child next to Adam, Which caused their smirk to cease as they got scared and hid behind Adam.

"Huh?" Adam spoke out confused as he looked over at the child that hid behind him. "Lute? the fucks your problem?" He said, earning a glare from Mors.

"I'm taking Vaggie home, Goodbye Adam... Lute..." Mors said his voice becoming lower as he spoke the child's name, making 'Lute' shiver in fear. He then turned and walked away, Vaggie still in his arms.

"Huh, Wha?" Adam said confused and bewildered at what just transpired before finally sighing and saying "You know what, Fuck it, Lets get some slushies and ribs, Shorty." Adam said to Lute, Lute giving a quick nod as both of them walked off in the opposite direction.

Vaggie, Gripped hard on to her father as he carried her away from the park a frown growing on Mors's face as she did so.

"Vaggie..." Mors said gently, Vaggie looked up at her father curiously before he continued. "...What happened?"

Vaggie's eyes widen before saddening as she then told him about how Lute was bossing some other kids around and even hurting them by whacking them with sticks, She told him how she ran up to Lute and told her to stop being mean only for Lute to get mad and push her down a hill where she rolled in to some thorn bushes, Lute then stomped off angrily while Adam, The one who said he watch over them was just snoring away on a bench nearby.

Mors's eyes widen at this before they narrowed and finally soften.

"Vaggie, You don't ever need to worry about trying to be strong, Because you already are, There is no weakness at losing a fight or crying over a scrap or two. Your heart is filled with humbleness and kindness. That my little angel makes you truly strong." Mors said smiling at Vaggie. "And remember, That no matter what... I'll always be there for you." He ended off with.

"Really, Papi?" She asked softly.

"Really, Truly, Mi Hija..." Mors said sincerely.

Mors walked forward with Vaggie in arms as the world around Vaggie darkened.

"My, that's quite the dream." Suddenly a voice spoke out as the world around Vaggie started to dissolve.

"Your heart must truly thirsts for some form of parental love it seems. Understandable I suppose, since from what I've been told, the closes thing you had to a 'parental' figure was this Adam fellow..." The voice continued as Vaggie looked into the darkness that filled up around her, No longer was she a child but her adult self.

"What... What is this? What was all that?" Vaggie questioned out in confusion. "That dream felt so real but I know for a fact none of that happened!"
She yelled out, confused at not knowing what was going on.

"Now, Now. Calm yourself Saint Vaggie." The voice spoke out once more. "Your correct it was simply a dream... where in your mind after all! but none of that is important!" The voice said. "What is important, Is you and your new position!" The voice said cheerfully.

"My new... position?" Vaggie spoke even more confused.

"Yes! You are our new Lord and King's first apostle! Isn't that splendid? You will be spreading the King's greatness across these new lands, aren't you excited? I know I am! I've been waiting for our king's first step in to rebuilding the old kingdom for many, many lifetimes." The voice explained in a excited manner. "Hopefully he'll make me a new form!" The voice ended with, sounding more giddy then before.

"Lord? King? Godhood?! Who Are you? Qué carajo está pasando!" Vaggie screamed out, She wasn't sure what in heaven was going on but she was getting annoyed.

"Woah There, Slow down dear apostle! I'll explain everything!" The voice said calming Vaggie down a bit.

"You see Saint Vaggie, you were chosen to help regain our King's godhood!" The voice said cheerfully.

"Regain his Godhood? Is that a sex joke? What do you mean by that? Gods don't ex-" Vaggie started speaking but was cut off by the voice.

"In your world, No. In mine and our King's old world, Yes!" The voice explained.

Vaggie looked shocked. "Old world? What the fuck?!" She thought to herself before asking. "W- what is your old world?"

"Oh, I'm sorry Saint Vaggie but I'm afraid you and our King aren't ready for that yet. When the time comes he'll learn of it along side you and the other apostles that will eventually join." The voice answered, Making Vaggie a bit miffed at the answer.

"On to the subject of who I am. Truth be told it's been so long I can't rightly remember... But I believe I was a book keeper of some sort for our King." The voice said, Answering Vaggie's other question.

Vaggie simple sighed at that, She really was hoping a full on explanation on what fully was happening but it seem that wasn't gonna happen anytime soon.

Suddenly a thought came to Vaggie as she tried to wrap her head around things.

"Wait... This god... Is it Mors?" Vaggie asked, wondering if the warm kind angel she once feared was the 'King' the voice spoke about.

"Who?" The voice asked back. "Do you mean the angel from your dreams? Hm, I don't know..." the voice spoke out while pondering.

"Wait... You don't know who it is?!" Vaggie yelled in shock, She didn't understand, She thought the voice would know since it just threw a full on bomb on her head. It sounded like it knew what was going on.

"Saint Vaggie, I've been trapped in a endless void created by our King long ago for many lifetimes. I have never seen anything but. I only know what I'm allowed to know and sadly it's always very little... Who you are and that our King has finally gain a new form is the only news I've gotten in a very long time..." The voice answered, somewhat apologetically.

"Ugh Fine, Then I'll ask Mors once I'm out this dream, void... whatever." Vaggie spoke out exasperated.

"Oh, That won't be possible!" The voice said, While Vaggie's eyes widen at that.

"Wait, What do you mean? Why not?!" Vaggie questioned, greatly annoyed.

"First reason is because our King won't even know who he is, His memories are erased every time he is reborn in a new universe, Making him have to relearn everything about himself all over again. It's our King's soul that carries the memories of the past lives. Sadly, Memories can't be transferred so our King must be taught once again who he is but only when his soul deems him ready to take in the shock." The Explained.

"Luckily, From what I've been told. Our King was born in a immortal body, unlike his last lives which were all mortal. So this universe will most likely be a permanent home for our King. Which means I might be reborn as well!" The Voice excitedly explained more.

"Second reason, Is that you won't remember any of this! Since I'll be sealing those memories away! No worries, I'll unseal them once the King's soul says otherwise." He told her cheerfully, While Vaggie's eyes became even wider.

"What, Why?! What was the point of explaining anything to me at all then!?" Vaggie yelled in shock and anger.

"Oh, I just wanted someone to talk to! Oh, and it seems like our time is up! Goodbye Saint Vaggie and remember to not remember, Ha, ha!" The voice said happily.

Then the dark world started glowing around her, a shinning light then appeared and she was flung into it.
