"You can't just skip ahead to where you think your life should be.
Later on that night
As they got settled into the car. Lucas drove them home his thoughts racing with the revelation that his sons had brought forward to him tonight.
He eventually parked in front of Brooke's house and turned to look to his sons.
"Where did this idea come from? I thought the two of you were doing really well at you're mom's." Lucas questioned.
"A couple months." Beau replied.
"What's wrong dad. Don't you want us to live with you?" Baxter asked.
"Its not that. This feels like you're trying to hurt or punish you're mom. That isn't what this is right?" Lucas questioned.

"You aren't going to let that happen. You know that would rip Brooke's heart out." Haley proclaimed.
On the rooftop of Karen's cafe. Staring at best friend.
"I know that. I didn't expect them to take sides."
"I dont want Brooke to be hurt but if my boys want to live with me how can i deny that?" Lucas questioned.

Brooke was surprised to see Lucas in the earlier morning hours.
But when he said he needed to talk. Brooke didn't hesistate to met up with him.
"From the sound of you're voice. I could tell whatever you wanted to talk about couldn't wait. I'm here." Brooke said.
"I love you Brooke and i regret what caused me to lose you." Lucas admitted.
