Every word you said
Suddenly sounds so familiar
I had a dream that you loved me like I loved you.
"I regret it too. But i know you well enough to know there is more to you're visit. No need to cushion the blow just be honest." Brooke said.
Lucas took a breath and looked to her.
"The boys told me they want to live with me full time. When i took them to dinner." Lucas revealed.
Brooke stared back at him wide eyed. "Tell me you them that will not be happening." She replied.
"I didn't give them an answer it threw me off guard. But they are my sons. I can't turn them away. Reject them. I won't do that." Lucas said.
"They put the divorce on me. To them i broke this family apart. Caused all this change." "They don't know any better but you do."
"What choice did i have at that point? You know how you were acting. You weren't willing to make any effort to save us."
"I never wanted a divorce. I tried so hard." Brooke said. The emotion in her voice thick.
"I know." Lucas said softly. When he thought back to the period of his marriage that lead to the ending of it. He was filled with shame and guilt. He had checked out emotionally and otherwise.
"What am i supposed to do here?" Lucas asked.

Later on that day
"You rest and relax sweetheart. Eat most of this breakfast."
"Momma will be right back from the store. I love you." Brooke proclaimed.
Lorena nodded her head slowly. Clutching her purple monkey tightly.
Brooke kissed the top of Lorena's head before leaving the room.
Brooke grabbed her car keys and head towards the nearest drug store. Stocking the cart with tissues. And various other stuff she would need to get her daughter through her sickness.
"Hi there stranger." Brooke said.
Felix looked at her. "Brooke. I've been meaning to reach out to you." He said.
"Are things okay with us? I know you had a rough start with the boys but i would still want to see where we could go." Brooke said.
"I would too." Felix replied.
