A/N This is Henry's arrival to Sodor chapter, journey there included.

Henry, now that he had a buyer, also had a crew. His driver and fireman said, "We're going to Sodor, Henry." and "There's a need for locomotive power, so Sir Topham Hatt, the head of the railway, was desperate, so he bought you.".

Henry, in tears, said his good-byes to the other engines and the people, like the kind workman, he knew at this place that was his first home. "Can you dry my eyes, Driver?" he said, sniffling long and loud. "I'm very sad to be leaving my friends.". His face was covered in thick tears.

Henry's driver said, pulling out a cloth from his pocket to dry Henry's tears, "A kind workman at this place told me you're sensitive, so I came prepared. There, there, Henry. Let it all out so you feel better.". He rubbed Henry's sodden cheeks and wiped his tear-wet eyes, listening attentively to pick up on Henry's values and cues.

Henry cried more, fresh tears welling up. He sniffled again, hard, coughed as he choked on his tears and hiccupped. He gasped and gulped, huge water droplets coming out of his eyes as he wept non-stop and let his driver offer comfort.

He said, as he continued to wipe the tears away, "Cry it out, as I provide support. No judgment as you vent, just care and compassion. Feel how you feel. Find comfort as I dry your weeping eyes.". He pressed the cloth to Henry's eyes, letting him cry into it and wiped all his tears away as best he could, not trying to fix his mood, just provide empathy.

Henry's tears were endless until his emotion was spent. His driver dried his last tears away, gently wiping his cheeks and eyes dry of tears. He went back to the cab with the sodden cloth and Henry's crew gave him a drink. Then, they filled Henry's tender with coal and set off.

Henry arrived on Sodor via Vicarstown Bridge, but Sir Topham Hatt was angry because he wanted an Atlantic. He felt sad and concerned at the controller's anger, his eyes growing moist, but his driver dabbed them with the cloth and gave him a soothing pat. The beauty of the railway, along with his fellow engines, helped to cheer up Henry. He told the controller he was a hard-working engine. His crew took Henry to the Works for a check.

Henry emerged from the Works and was now officially a Sodor engine.

A/N The next chapter will be when his work on Sodor before Gordon's arrival's told.
