(Charlie's Office)

Professor Charlie, sitting at his desk in his office, watched the video feed showing Luna's cell and noticed that she was moving around like an animal that had been caged. He understood that the only reason she was acting this way was because the faral animal inside her didn't like to be caged. He realized that Luna's behavior was a direct result of her primal instincts taking over in response to being confined.

In the past few days, Charlie has noticed Luna's feral side come out more. By caging her in hope to keep her safe, away from Hank and Michael. Knowing Logan or Victor would soon arrive, they would try to claim Luna as their mate. But Charlie knew this was her first time going into heat, and he would step in to protect her until it passed. He used this time to observe how Hank and Michael act around her and get scent to notice both act wild and would fight each other when scent of Luna.

Storm understood why Charlies would be so protective of Luna from the other ferals in the house. Using her husband, Hawk helped them understand why the males feral would act, have mood swings , and behave aggressively towards each other. When they sensed Luna's presence, It was because Luna's scent triggered a primal instinct in the males. Jean, Scott, and Storm knew soon Logan and Victor would arrive at the estate. They would try to get Luna to mate with her. It was only a matter of time before chaos would ensue.

Jean enters the lab and notices Luna's behavior. Growling, Luna snarled at Jean and bared her teeth, ready to defend herself. Jean knew that Luna was not herself, and it was her feral side that had taken full control of Luna's body. It was only a matter of time before the transformation would be irreversible.

Jean said, "Stop Luna."

Luna abruptly stops moving and appears up at Jean with wide eyes, her wild demeanor slowly fading as she recognizes Jean's authority. Jean calmly explains to Luna that she needs to remain calm and composed in order to be released from her cell. Luna climbed back on her bed and laid down.

Jean said, "That's my good girl."

Charlie observed that Jean calmed Luna, and he made a mental note to bring Jean into their conversations going forward. With Jean around, Luna behaved much better, demonstrating that she was making progress in overcoming her animalistic impulses. Charlie turned his attention back to Luna and saw that she was clutching her teddy bear, which appeared to console her. He vowed to provide Luna with more reassuring things in the future so she could better manage her feelings. Luna closed her eyes and strengthened her grip on the teddy bear, feeling at ease in Jean's company.

Jean walked over to the cabin, opened it, and reached inside, taking out the needle. Luna voiced into Jean's head, asking, "Is it time to go to sleep again?" Jean answered back, "Yes, Luna." "It's time for your medication." Luna nodded in understanding, trusting Jean to take care of her. Jean turned around and walked over to the door.

Jean reached over the pad on the wall, entering the code; the door opened, and Jean stepped into the cell, holding the needle in hand. Luna glanced up at Jean as she stood down and reached over, taking the cap off the needle. Luna extended her arm, ready for Jean to administer the medication. Jean gently inserted the needle into Luna's arm, ensuring she received the proper dose, before returning the cap and placing the needle back in the cabinet.

Luna closed her eyes, feeling the medication slowly taking effect. She let out a deep breath, grateful for Jean's care and expertise in administering the treatment. As Luna drifted off into a peaceful slumber, Jean quietly exited the cell, leaving her to rest. The soft sound of Luna's breathing filled the room, a sign that the medication was doing its job.

Jean stood up and knew there was a short window until the drug stopped working. Using her power of telekinesis, she moved Luna from her bed and brought her to a table for a scanner to discover what William Stryker' had done to her when he kidnapped her. Jean carefully positioned Luna on the scanner table, her heart racing with anticipation of uncovering the truth behind William Striker's actions. With a determined focus, she activated the scanner and began analyzing the results, determined to bring justice to Luna and ensure her safety.

After the table was sent into the scanner, Jean started seeing images of Luna's body. Only to notice that Luna's claws were coated with adamantium, just as Logan was. Jean realized that William Striker used the same adamantium that covered their claws. Jean felt a sense of dread as she realized the extent of Striker's manipulation and experimentation on Luna. She knew they needed to act quickly to protect Luna from any further harm.

When Jean heard Luna's voice inside her head, Luna said, "I'm sorry, Jean; I can't control her." Jean realized that Luna was using her telepathic ability to communicate with her. This revelation deepened Jean's curiosity about Luna's mysterious origins and powers. Jean replied, "I understand that she is apart from you, and you will, in time, learn to control her." Luna said, "As you do with the Phoenix force that lies inside of you."

Jean's eyes widened in shock as Luna's words hit home, making her wonder if Luna knew more about her own abilities than she let on. Was there a connection between Luna's powers and Jean's connection to the Phoenix Force, or was this just a strange coincidence? Luna asked, " Do you sense the power within you growing stronger?" Jean hesitated, unsure of how to answer Luna's question without revealing too much about her own internal struggles. Luna said, "We will discuss later." "Charlie is coming." Jean nodded her head as if Luna saw her.

(Lab)

As the doors opened to the lab, Charles entered the lab to discover Luna's cell door was open, and Jean was standing and peering at the images on screen. Charles furrowed his brow in confusion, wondering how Luna's cell door had been opened without any alarms sounding. He approached Jean cautiously, realizing that there was more to this situation than met the eye.

Charlies asked, "Jean! What did you discover out about Luna?" Jean turned her head and said, "William Stryker put adamantium on Luna's claws just as he had done to Logan."

Charlie appeared shocked and found this new information. He knew that this meant Luna's past was more complicated than they initially thought, and he realized they needed to dig deeper into her unconscious and pass the block to discover her history. Charlie made a mental note to discuss this new development with the rest of the team during their next meeting. After he dug in Luna's mind to uncover more hidden memories, they would have a clearer understanding of her origins and how to help her move forward.

Luna's voice reentered Jean's mind again, saying, "Jean, the medicine is wearing off, and soon my animal side is going to awaken." Jean reached over, pushing the button, stopping the scanner, and grabbing the medicine from the tray. Jean spun around, reached down, and grabbed Luna's left arm, in jacking her again to prevent Luna's feral side from awaking and sending Luna's feral side back under the medicine to keep her asleep until she got back into the cell.

Charlie asked, "Jean, everything is alright." Jean said, "Luna's feral side was about to wake up, and Luna helped me keep under." Charlie nodded in understanding, grateful for Jean's quick thinking and expertise in handling the situation. Jean continued to monitor Luna closely, ready to act swiftly if needed to ensure everyone's safety. But Charles realized Luna was more powerful than he had thought before.

As the minutes passed, Luna's breathing began to slow and her muscles relaxed, indicating that the medication was taking effect. Jean remained vigilant, knowing that any sudden movements from Luna could pose a threat to those around her. She silently prayed that Luna would remain calm until they could figure out a long-term solution for her condition.

Jean once again hears Luna's voice enter her mind by saying, "Kitty and Puppy are coming." Jean asked, Who are kitty and puppy?" Luna sent pictures of Victor Creed and Logan to her mind. Jean looked up and realized that Kitty and Puppy were Luna's nicknames for Wolverine and Sabretooth. Jean said, "Victor Creed and Logan are heading to the estate."

Charles realized that both Logan and Victor Creed are dangerous mutants now that Luna's feral side is out. Victor Creed and Logan are heading to the estate to mate with Luna. Charlies said, "Jean, return Luna's cell immediately." "We need to keep her safe from them." Jean nodded in agreement and quickly returned Luna to her cell.

Charlie moved the hidden panel, reaching up and pushing the button. Charlie spoke with the speaker, and Scott answered the call. Charlie said, "Logan and Victor Creed are heading to the estate. Scott said, "Sabretooth." Charlie said, "We need to be prepared for a fight. They won't stop until they get what they want."

Scott said, "I get the team ready." "We need to protect Luna at all costs," Charlie said, his voice filled with determination. Storm voice came over the speaker and said, Professor, I have an idea that might work. Why don't we use Hank and Michael to protect Luna and fight against Sabretooth and Logan?"

Charlie thought about Storm's suggestion. "That sounds like a solid plan," he replied. "Let's get everyone in position and be ready for whatever comes our way." Jean closed Luna's cell door and turned to face the team. "We need to act fast," she said, her eyes filled with urgency. "Time is running out."

Charlie glanced over at Jean and said, "Let's do this." Jean said, "I hope this works, Professor." "I have a good feeling about this," Charlie reassured her. "We just need to stay focused and work together." Jean nodded, determination shining in her eyes, as they prepared for the impending battle. Jean looked at Luna and noticed she snuggled up her teddy bear and smiled before leaving the lab with Charles.
