Lincoln and sonic stared at the creature that used to be Lily
"oh crap baskets." Sonic said
"ok Lily let's calm down." Lincoln began slowly approaching
only to get bitch slapped several yards away
"I kicked the time eater's butt once I can do it again!" Sonic said as he dashed forward
he managed to get a few good hits in only to join Lincoln several yards away
"she's too powerful!" Lincoln said
"we gotta separate her from the emeralds!" Sonic said
they noticed Amy and some of the others approaching
"sonic!" Amy yelled
"Amy! Everyone! You need to leave now!" Sonic said
"is that the timer eater!?" Mr.Tinker asked pointing at Lily who was destroying a nearby forest
"how do you know about that?" Sonic asked
"did you seriously not tell them?" Lincoln asked Amy
"it never came up." Amy said while shrugging "mr. Tinker got his memories back but don't worry he's still on our side."
"what even happened?!" Tails asked more worried about the time eater
"zavok ripped the phantom ruby out of Lily but then she absorbed it back into her along with all seven chaos emeralds." Sonic said
"the roar that removed the virus was the last bit of control she had." Lincoln said "she's just a mindless beast now."
"well then we need to separate her from the emeralds." Knuckles said "all I need is one good punch and that should knock the emeralds out of her."
"we'll get you an opening." Whisper the wolf said
"alright let's save Lily!" Lincoln yelled
everyone began to attack lily just enough to get her attention without actually hurting her
however Lily noticed knuckles and knocked him away
suddenly spike emerged from the ground and landed an uppercut knocking the emeralds out of her which Lincoln quickly grabbed
"a another echidna?" Knuckles said quietly
"uh guys I have the emeralds but she isn't turning back!" Lincoln said
Lily immediately back handed him sending him flying
"Lincoln!" Everyone yelled
Lincoln ended up in front of the master emerald on angel island
suddenly there was a voice was a voice in his head
(step on the master emerald and give its power to the chaos emeralds and victory shall be yours) the voice said
Lincoln hoping for the best stepped on the emerald and put the energy through the emeralds
and then everything went white
with sonic and the others
"we gotta win!" Sonic said getting up from a hit
knuckles suddenly felt the master emerald being used
"someone is using the master emerald!" Knuckles yelled
suddenly a streak of white went through time eater lily's arm and cut it off
"what was that?!" Tails asked
"look!" Tangle the lemur said point at a white light
it was Lincoln in his hyper form
"it's Lincoln!" sonic said
"he must've turned the chaos emeralds into the super emeralds." Knuckles said
"he must finish this quickly! his body won't be able to sustain that form for long." Mr. Tinker said
Lily let out a roar as her arm regenerated
Lily tried to slash at Lincoln but he just parried the attack and hit her back
Lily let out another roar
"sorry sis." Lincoln said before charging up a spin dash
Lily lunged towards him
he spin dashed clean through the time eater Lily and came out holding her fox body
the remains of the time eater was absorbed by the phantom ruby
he set Lily down on the ground
suddenly his arm exploded
"Lincoln released the emeralds now before you destroy your body!" Mr. Tinker said
Lincoln managed to release the emeralds with them turning back into the chaos emeralds but not before his leg exploded
Lincoln then fell over on his back unconscious from the tremendous amounts of power he was using
later
"is he gonna be alright papa?" Belle asked her father
"yes he will be." Mr.tinker said as he and tails worked on Lincoln (I hope)
"wow never imagined you as a good dad." Sonic said as belle left the room to check on Lily
"is it really that surprising?" Mr. Tinker asked
sonic and tails looked at him with a blank expression on their faces
"fair enough." Mr. Tinker said
"man the phantom ruby really made Lincoln advance." Tails said as he worked on repairing Lincoln's arm
"it's like a combination of all 3 metal sonics." Mr. Tinker said working on Lincoln's leg
"papa! Lily is awake!" Belle said helping a very weak lily move around
"is Linky ok?" Lily asked
"he's alive we're working on his repairs now." Mr. tinker said
"did I do that?" Lily asked
"no it was just an overload of energy." Tails said
"but he did that because of me." Lily said
"he did it to save you." Sonic said "that's how much he cares about you."
then Mecha sonic walked in
"Lily we need to train." Mecha sonic said
"for what?" Lily asked
"to get that power under control." Mecha sonic said
"ok." Lily said "can you please get Lincoln back?"
"I will do that no matter how long it takes." Mr. Tinker said
6 months later
it took 6 months for Lincoln to finally wake up
"ugh my neck." Lincoln said getting up
"oh good it worked!" Mr. Tinker said
the memories of what had transpired before Lincoln fell unconscious came flooding back
"where's Lily? is she ok?" Lincoln asked
"don't worry she's fine. she's currently training with Mecha sonic." Mr. Tinker said
"yeah she's been getting really good with that ruby!" Cubot said
"her skills with the phantom ruby as well as the powers of perfect chaos and the time eater have grown exponentially." Orbot said
"ok well I'm gonna go see her." Lincoln said before running outside
when he got outside he saw Lily training with Mecha sonic
around one arm was water around the other one was shadows as well as gears
"I hope I'm not too late to the party!" Lincoln said gaining the attention of his sister
"Lincoln!" Lily said before flying forward and tackling her brother with a hug
"woah! how long has it been? You were always calling me linky." Lincoln said
"well it's been about 6 months." Lily said
Lincoln's eyes then went blue with an error message on them which said
Error 404: Lincoln.exe has stopped working. please contact mr. Tinker for further repairs
"I think I broke him." Lily said

it was spark's first day of school
he had stayed inside all summer working on some things such as changing his body structure to be able to move as fast as he used to and to be as strong as he used to it was a good thing he was given the lab of the intelligent but dumb one (he refuses to say her name)
(he also now turns into a werehog at night now but that's besides the point. He didn't mess up it was a benefit)
right now he was walking alone
" hey Lincoln!" An unfamiliar male voice said
spark felt someone approaching and immediately back flipped out of the way
he saw a boy with glasses
"Lincoln that was cool but where have you been?" The boy asked "you were missing all summer!"
spark simply turned around and walked away uncaring of who the boy was to the original owner of the body he was in
when he got there he saw a boy with red hair
"hey Larry!" The boy said "think fast!"
he threw a blob of mud which spark grabbed and threw back with such speed it didn't even dirty his hand
the mud ball hit the boy in the face causing him to fall over on the ground
spark went inside the school ignoring everyone who said the name Lincoln
he sat down in his classroom
with his superior intellect it was incredibly easy to do the questions
the boy next to him however was struggling
bolt decided to help him by giving him the formula needed while the teacher was distracted
"thanks." The boy said "I'm Evan by the way. I'm new here."
spark held up a piece of paper that said "Lincoln but just call me spark."
"ok bolt glad to make your acquaintance." Evan said
spark had a feeling he just made a good friend so he decided to talk to him after class
later
"oh hey spark what's up?" Evan asked
spark pulled out a note
"do you want to go to my lab after school?" Evan read "you have a lab? awesome! I love science!"
for once spark let out a small smile
nearby a boy watched in confusion asking himself what happened to his friend
