Chapter 90: Tales of the Netherworld Volume 3 (1):
Bamun's POV:
My name is Bamun. In my Universe, there are people who can bend the elements. My home, Ba Sing Se, was taken from me by the Fire Nation. I wanted revenge on Princess Azula... but then I saw that if I did so, I'd be just like how she was. Now, I'm stranded in a dimension I know nothing about. All this because I made a deal with the Devil. I don't know what I'm going to do now. Then the Devil came.
"You're not getting my soul," I said, "I've given up on my path for revenge!"
"I know," says the Devil, "instead, you're going on a trip!"
He then zaps me, and I start to disappear.
. . .
Now I'm in this strange realm. It's orange, and there is very little gravity, as shown by the floating rocks. The Devil... he banished me to the Netherworld! Now, I must find a way to escape! I started to wonder... I then took a leap, and I landed on a very far rock. I was right, there is very little gravity. I then continued to leap.
. . .
I continued to leap until I landed on a rock.
"What do we have here," asks this bat creature.
"A-are you a demon," I asked.
"Yes, and you're dead," says the bat demon, "now, face the wrath of Hsi Wu the Sky Demon!"
I then leaped and the demon known as Hsi Wu chased after me.
. . .
I then hid behind a rock and the demon continued to look for me. I was relieved, but then the rock behind me started to move. "Who dares awaken Dai Gui, Demon Sorcerer of Earth?"
"I... forgive me," I said.
"I don't forgive!" The demon then came at me, and I was forced to flee once again.
. . .
I leaped from rock to rock and the demon did the same, but then I leaped out of the way and the demon falls. I then leaped to another rock.
. . .
The Netherworld must be full of demons! The next rock I was on had a giant sleeping toad. I had to avoid waking him. I tried to move quietly, but then I tripped over a little rock. That woke him up. "You are going to regret disturbing the rest of Xiao Fung, the Wind Demon!"
He then blew me to another rock.
. . .
I then bumped into a demon in a robe. "Did you just bump into Tso Lan the Moon Demon!"
"Please, it was an accident," I said.
"Perhaps, but this will be on purpose!"
"The Devil was the reason I am here," I said.
Tso Lan then stops. "You know the Devil?"
I paused. "Yes, and he says I am not to be harmed!"
"Apologies," says Tso Lan, "I had no idea."
"Apology accepted," I said, "now, I must continue doing my inspection!" I then leaped.
. . .
I then leaped to a rock and there was moving water. "I'm guessing the water demon," I said.
"I am Bai Tza!"
"I-I work for the Devil," I said.
"You expect me to believe such lies," asks Bai Tza.
"It worked on the Moon Demon," I said.
Bai Tza tried to attack me, but I leaped away.
. . .
I then landed on a giant rock and there was a giant demon, sleeping.
"Come with me," says a voice, "I can help you!"
"Can I trust you," I asked.
"Would you rather be devoured by Po Kong, the Mountain Demon!"
"Very well," I said.
. . .
I then met with the stranger... and he was another demon!
"I am Tchang Zhu, Demon Sorcerer of Thunder!"
"I-I warn you; I was sent here by the Devil..."
"I know and I want to help you escape this realm," says Tchang Zhu.
"Y-you do?"
"Yes, you see, I plan to overthrow the Devil, but to do that, first, we must trap him! Help me and we can help each other!"
I probably shouldn't trust him... I already made a deal once... but what other choice do I have? "Very well," I said, "what would you suggest?"
"He wants your soul, doesn't he?"
. . .
The plan was for me to be bait for the Devil. I looked at Tchang Zhu as he was hiding. "I have decided to just give up my soul," I said.
That's when the Devil showed up. "I knew you had some brains," says the Devil, "now, for that soul!"
Then Tchang Zhu traps the Devil in an electric cage. "Now, I shall rule over the demons," says Tchang Zhu.
"And what about our deal," I asked.
"I changed my mind," says Tchang Zhu.
"You are no better than him," I said.
"I never said I was!"
Then, just as the Thunder Demon was about to electrocute me, the Devil escapes and knocks the Thunder Demon out. "I'll deal with him later," says the Devil, "now, about that soul!"
