For the first time, Mark hesitated.

"This sounds stupid, but I suppose you should know."

Mark fiddled with his cup, not meeting her eyes until April reached over and touched his arm.

"Come on. Out with it."

Sighing, he finally blurted it out.

"Hypodermic needles. They give me a fierce case of collywobblers. Passed out after a flu shot once. Not my finest hour."

"We all have something that freaks us out, whether it makes sense or not. Catepillars creep me out. There's just something about them."

The shudder she gave was obviously not faked and Mark smiled back.
