As Napoleon started driving again, April spoke, but this time her voice sounded discouraged.

"I could have understood this attitude from Mister Waverly. He seems to have some sort of issue with Mark. But you've actually worked with Mark before. I would have expected you to at least give him the benefit of the doubt."

Mark reached a hand up to rest on April's shoulder.
