Stargate Atlantis Trading Grounds I: The Return To La Rochelle
Warnings: With these chapters it gives a surprise look at what happened after the trilogy, in the Mighty Ducks movies, as instead of them being destroyed. And falling apart, Bombay quits the offer here, at the Goodwill Games and trains the next generation. As the pre academy unit in Atlantic City, is none other then the Minneapolis Mighty Ducks. Movie 3, and both sides of the team combine together as one now here finally.
As Wesley Crusher becomes the best of friends with the team, and he and his unit join forces with them and their entire team and give the Hawks, who are the Edina Hawks. From the movie trilogy, a real run for their money now, as the year goes by, as the teams at the academy are created in the added sports now, as the years go by here. Taking on the names of the Districts, the Atlantic City Knights and Edina Red Hawks.
But if anyone noticed here in the continued references to the movie script of Sphere, the story is going to follow some of it, but changes in other areas. And this story on Sphere, is going to be book 3 of the 6 part series I'm creating now. Basing it from now, to end of Season 5, and instead of dead, Daniel's going to be training to be a Q. And like season 6 showed, only 3 of the 22 episodes, has him with the trio, the others.
He's there at the SGA, Daniel's clone, turned twin brother ascended and Daniel is at the SGA, making his powers stronger. As the last episode unlocked his potential completely, though by doing that, everything that came with it. Starts coming out in visions, till they reach my other story, of the Past and Present series. Till the final shot results now here in the 5 years he spent, on board the enterprise, there in Antarctica.
With this series, there's going to be a severe amount of backlash brought on by the traumas of Hathor and Machello. But the connector here is going to be Need and Shyla's kingdom, so for Sam and Jack. The events of Hathor and Shyla have stuck, leaving them facing a backlash that has Daniel. And Teal'C, on one side of the line, them on the other, in basing this solely on the book series on the movie, directly after it.
The events are altered to it being civilian ran with military help and the SGA is just that, as Jack and Makepeace get the entirety of the consequences. That resulted in Daniel becoming a pariah now in that book series, only now it's reversed here. So everything negative on Daniel is Jack now, in the SGA and everything Jack is Daniel. In the SGC ops, but it's because of the permanent effects of Hathor's pheromones.
This story and it's followers are going to match the dialog, in the flashback memories, of chapter 4, of the past meets the present series. As it also follows the complete mental breakdowns, of the human half of the team. And Robert Makepeace and Adam Johnson, so the story is going to follow the dialog to the letter exactly. Along with some new dialog that was not in the fast forwarded portion in the flashbacks.
Basing this in real time, rather then the show, of 25 years ago, Antarctica was a neutral zone for research so military research was not allowed out there. And with it, as the chair is considered military technology, it was meant to be last resort. In case of another orbital attack, so the outpost is now trade and exploration. So with this chapter, is the colony/crew is now getting used to being a slightly underwater crew.
As he's getting to work in trading to bring in more improvement for the planet at large now, so a military attack. Just to bring him back to the states, is attempted, is an international. In incidents and enough to get them convicted for kidnapping now, with his clearance. So from here, is he's dropping in on Ry'ac and Drey'auc and before the press conference. And just before his first stop in planets is to Gaea, home of the Nox.
This chapter will finish off this portion of the story-line, as the next two chapters and forward, cover chapter 2, going by the name. And of The Glory Of Tantulus, which covers things, from his going to the races and Tok'ra creation of the treaty. And his return to Shyla, before the following Chapters cover the the breakdowns of the trio and Carter, who's lost her ability to function mentally, out of desperation now.
As the mission was sanctioned, and he was transferred to Landry and the Atlantis team at the time. As Rodney McKay, Cam Mitchell, Vala Mal Doran, Hank Landry, Frank Simmons, Steven Caldwell, John Shepard. And Elizabeth Weir enter the picture here, the story will have Daniel and Teal'C joining their team. As the SGA is founded 5 years early, and moved into the outpost on earth….

Chapter 105: New Futures And Fresh Starts I: Time's Arrow and Recovery

"And as I said here, you're in a male dominated world, this man's Army, Air Force, Marines and Navy, you're more vulnerable then we are, but then here. Is why is that, oh I know, women didn't start getting to vote till 1924, though they were still working. And as home makers, it wasn't till 1965 they left the house and went into their respective jobs. So you see here's why, that you're too much like Sharon's version of Halperin as it is." Daniel said and she swallowed.
"Good point there, why would we take her word over your's now, when we see your explanation in action, compared to her's and her idea barely murdered 85 people." Hammond said, crossing his arms and she swallowed hard, realizing nothing was ever going to change. "Ted figured it out first, and you're jealous he refined it before you did, but then Dave confronts you. And you decide to kill my best friend, and my uncle, out of jealousy?" he said and she went white then.
"My guy quartet on the team, are Eric, Larry and Ted, so now what, my sisters Queen, Karen and Teeny, I have a life on the team here, you can't fix anything. And with just 'I'm sorry', it doesn't work like that, but you refusing to let go of your pride, right now. I'm not standing up for my uncles, or just Eric and Ted, I happen to agree with them here. Your mind snapped out of fear of commitment, you're scared of commitment, not my fault." he said and she broke out.
"But refining that keyboard thing, here's what we laid out, numbers to letters, if you're not a cryptographer, then you have no idea what you're saying to them. Without you pissing off the person you're talking to." Alexander said, as he typed it up, and sent it to her and she went pale, realizing once again, the man figured it out first. As she realized she destroyed her entire life, because of her fears of commitment now, and to them she was crazy and out of control.
"That vision turns true, on Absolute Power, she deserves to stay in jail now, but now I have to raise Sha're's son, he grew up, never knowing his mother, because of Hathor. Because of Shyla, because of Apophis now." Daniel said and she started shaking violently in fear, realizing they made that baby an orphan, by waiting too long, and they were paying for it finally. "You made that child an orphan, you murdered billions of people, you deserve it." he said and Jack paled.
"You deserve the consequences for that decision, in the only way I know how, rather then the General, I'm handing you over to your chosen fears, that's your criminal sentence. In this reality, the next you never heard of the Stargate program, and you never saw me ever again. After Queens, so rather then Detroit or Princeton, the gang was where Uncle Brandon was, and I traveled with my family, same old, same old in their eyes." he said and they started shaking.
"We traveled all over the country, to where the nearest naval habitat was, New Jersey was the next stop, followed by L.A., and as a result, I decided that was my future. I'm a Naval crewman, and archeologist, forensic archeology, I go where the work is. And that work is where the Ancient had their chosen hidden outposts now, and the Navy ran the program now. Without you finding out about it, because no you, means no war with Apophis." he said and they paled.
"There's a better future, instead of a directed trauma after becoming an orphan, we petitioned, for Nick to remain hospitalized, the twins grew up happy and healthy. But we been assigned to the Stargate program now, starting back in 1978, and we got to Teal'C. As we gone to Cartego, at the same time that Apophis lead a siege there, and talking Teal'C into going rogue. Which to Apophis is a double agent status since then, he been living on earth for 21 years since then."
"Then, since then, we kept the program secret, because anyone in the MIS finds out about, it's our war currently as a result. Teal'C cast aside his own demons from the time he was 78 years old, he been in training since he was 78. So since then, he brought Drey'Auc to Earth, and we saw Bra'tac, they both knew what he was doing, ever since now. Everything was fine, till 1997, so 29 years exactly." Barnes said and Bra'tac and Drey'auc nodded, smiling in agreement.
"Agreed, only I knew you gone rogue now, as I had to, I been hiding my true allegiances, since you came into our lives, as you created our medicine for us. And we lived free, we will use their kind, as they have used us now." Drey'auc said smiling and Bra'tac nodded, as Ry'ac was smiling then, happily, he grown up on earth, inside this ship. And this ship was home, so he never been turned into a plant to destroy Earth, and he grew up and became like his father, Starfleet now.
"Sam, it's Karen could you meet me at the lab, please? Sam, can you meet me at the lab, please? I want to show you something. Sam!" she said into the radio and Sam went to see what this was about, not noticing that Hoffman, dressed in entirely in black to blend in with the shadows, as she entered the room and saw a notepad was left on the table then. "Karen?" she said and there on on the table, sat a hypodermic needle filled with fluid, then finally.
As he closes the door, and spins the wheel, and barricades it shut as she hears the click behind her and turns to see that the door shut. "Colonel?" she said in shock, as he quickly charged back to the control room as at the same time, struggling not to panic, she tries to figure a way out. "What are you doing, Colonel, why are you locking me in here? Colonel!" she said quickly as she looks around the lab and sees jars full of liquid on shelves as he says it firmly.
"Sam! Sam! Up here...up here, Sam, it's me, Daniel, I'm up here." he said and she said it shaking. "Why aren't you here? Why am I talking to you like this." she said and Stone explained that. "I'm talking to you from the video room, Sam, listen to me, you manifested the symbiotes here that attacked." she said sternly to then her. "Turn around. Turn around and look on the table." she said to her and Sam turns around at that quickly.
And sees a hypodermic needle on the table, and went pale, realizing her own fears resulted in this. "Seeing as you said here you never read passed pg. 198, you never realized here now this is what Sharon did to Dustin, trick him into the lab. And this is an audio standoff now, so with that, that room is guarded against the powers. Of the sphere, you can't unlock the door, so there is no escape." Hoffman said and she went white.
"Your fears of anything in the water, if you hate water, why are you on a Navy ship exactly, but water, jellyfish and giant squid?" he said and she started shaking in fear. "Young lady my point is here now, we just figured it out and I remembered everything I realized here now, no us, he has nothing tying him to the ship. So basically, you're knocking us off, one by one, out of desperation." he said and Stone finished that sternly.
"Do you see the hypodermic needle, Sam?" She asked and she nodded. "Yeah." she said and she said it carefully then. "I want you to inject yourself, Sam." she said to her and she looked up. "What?!" she said shaking and she said it. "Sam, you're manifesting your fears. The snakes, or rather the symbiotes, the symbiotes were you." she said, and Hoffman typed in aerolization sedatives in medical lab, and Sam said it quickly in fear at that remark.
"Why would the snakes have anything to do with me, I didn't go inside The Sphere." she said and Daniel nodded. "Oh really, want to tell me why you were screaming earlier, as Uncle Brandon said, you're thinking everything is tanked. They could be anywhere, and now your fears manifest Aramis in the bedroom with you. Before those symbiotes are manifesting right out of the water tank." Daniel said and she went pale then to that.
"Then how did the snakes get there, Sam?" she said to her then and she said it shaking then. "Maybe the symbiotes that you harvested escaped the lab, they are smart?" she said and Jackson crossed his arms. "In symbiote form they can't get out of the lab, unless they jump into someone, you know that, so that leaves one explanation. The powers manifested them right out of the lab, and since he swore off system lord planets."
"That leaves you right now, so pick up the needle and inject yourself." she said to her then sternly and she said it quickly. "I'm telling you, I didn't go in the Sphere." she said and Daniel confronted her over the radio. "Then care to explain why we're finding animals in the area around the habitat. Said that never climb higher then 1,000ft, or how could they escape Edina." he asked and she went white, realizing he knew everything about this.
"Obviously you went in the Sphere, Sam." she said to her and she said it quickly. "If I went in the Sphere I would have told you now." she said to her then. "No but you remembered the argument, that I manifest myself out of existence. When in the program at the base and you have no way to protect yourself now." Daniel said and Stone interrupted what was about to become an ongoing argument now, in whereabouts then.
"If you don't use the hypodermic needle, we're going to have to defend ourselves and the manifest here from you, you already proven your desperation is dangerous. But thqt power in a completely unpredictable person, you mind is not equipped. And to handle it like our's is, but Sam, don't make me do this, I don't want to do this. Just take it and we can leave, the lockdown is close." she said and she said it quickly then.
"I didn't manifest anything, I didn't manifest anything.., I didn't manifest anything." she said and Daniel nodded. "She blacked it out, like Goodman, but Goodman was the jellyfish, Addams the squid." he said and he nodded as he pointed at Jackson, as he started removing the air room from the room. "Why does it say that its low level? Why are you taking the oxygen out?" she said, before paling, realizing she never saw this movie now.
And what they were doing was knocking her unconscious, till the timer ran out. "Karen, why are you taking the gas out of the room? Karen? It's my air..." she started to say and suddenly the jar burst and she jumped in shock at the explosion them. "Think it through: Whose childhood fears were the jellyfish? Remember, Sam... remember?" she said and Sam started shaking, realizing the jellyfish were matching the ones that attacked her as a kid.
"Yes, but…, but anyone could be afraid of jellyfish, Karen." she said, realizing this was why they created holodecks, facing their fears, till their fears never got to them anymore then. "Sam, look at your wrists, remember when you told me about getting burned you're manifesting fire, Sam...you're manifesting jellyfish. The squid was also you now, all of it, but everything is you, isn't it possible that you went inside the Sphere here."
"And you just don't remember." Daniel said and Sam said it desperately then."Karen, you would've seen it on the video." she said and Hoffman said it sternly. "The video blanked out and you were gone for two hours. So, where were you, Sam?" he said sternly to her and she swallowed hard at the remark then as she said it. "Your logic is screwy, okay. Because if I'd gone in the Sphere, I would have been different when I came out."
"I'd have been strange like Harry." she said and as water started appearing on the floor and she shouted it out. "What's with this water!" she said and Stone said it firmly."Sam, you're manifesting this room flooding, water is your fear, Sam, you said. You hadn't been in the water since you were a kid, Sam just, inject yourself with the hypodermic needle." she said and they nodded, as they ended it on that, knowing she was facing some punishment.
"Wait keep this ending going and till we do his upgrades, as we see what he came up with now, his reality should be interesting and she'd being removed from the ship." Haden said and Hoffman nodded, as he carefully fixed it. "No, it's not me, I'm not gonna use it." she said as the second one exploded and the second symbiote swam passed her. "Karen, Karen, what are you doing, you're going to kill me!" she screamed and at her then and she said it then.
"I can't help you, Sam, I'm not doing this." she said and she pulls herself up out of the water, hanging onto equipment in the habitat. "Putting the blame on me, nice try, she blacked it out, we hadn't and now she got caught." Jackson said to this then. "Karen...!" she said shaking and Stone said it carefully. "Try not to be so afraid, Sam. Let go of your fears and it will all go away and the ships will come and we'll all get out of here and we'll be fine."
"You're doing the right thing." she said to her gently. "Alright that's enough, hit her with anestazine." Hoffman said and they nodded as they activated that firmly, as they started filling the room with a gas. "What, what are you doing?!" she said, panicking, as she started getting drowsy. "No." she said, as she fell into the table, before collapsing, and everything came back on all at once, as everything reversed itself and Daniel leaned his head back in relief.
"Ente, teleport her to the psychiatric patient chamber." Hoffman said as the water was immediately erased from the room, and with it now. And everything was back to the way it was now. "There's why we have holodecks, train to let go of our fears now, and it's all fear, her phobias are enough to kill her and us, if she doesn't control them. If we never did that, and you were certainly right, her fears could kill us, if we never did that now."
"We're keeping her sedated for the next 16 hours, keeping the cocktail flowing through her system. And she's not waking up till 12 days later, before we send her back to Colorado now." he said and they nodded as Daniel tried to stand, and his legs gave out and she quickly grabbed him. "Whoa, whoa, easy baby, we better get you back into bed, you need to sleep this off right now." Hoffman said gently to him then at that then.
And he nodded, as they got him back up to the infirmary, his exhaustion making it harder to keep going, before upon getting the blankets out of the the way, and laying him down on the bed and removing his shoes, as he fell asleep, checking his temperature, he nodded. "Karen, get a syringe loaded with cocktail of Dantrolene, Proprandol and Baclofen. I need to bring his fever down, before we get him in the infirmary, he's possibly suffering NGF."
"He is, he needs Greg." he said and she nodded to him then, and she went to get the fever reducer. "That's what he looked like after the search for those two idiots ended, he passed out on us, before we came back right now. But he saved her life twice right now, he was there for her, after she recovered from Jolinar's murder. It's not his fault, he wasn't there when she needed him, you, as the brass ordered him to search out that back pay off right now."
"And she does this, oh no, no there is excuse for her actions, she's a traitor for life." Warner said sternly and Hammond nodded in agreement. "Agreed the only person that can be blamed for this is O'neill and not saying no, for once in her life, and not doing the smart thing. And declining the proffered whatever it is now." Connery said and Hammond nodded. "He was under orders to search out a back pay off, so not his fault, it's her's, always." he said and Daniel smiled then.
And she started shaking in fear, realizing that's what it came down to, and yet she clung to his not being there when she needed him, and now she knew what it felt like. To be betrayed by the person you loved as your best friend, only to learn they're a complete backstabber. "I would have gone for prisoner's with perks, as they're under arrest in the detention wing. Of the palace, but they screwed that up, as I recovered." Daniel said and Hammond nodded sternly then.
"That's more then she deserves for this betrayal, but them it's just what they deserve, being traitors right now and with that delusional state." Thomas said and Sam looked down, realizing he was showing compassion in her case, though she didn't deserve it. Them, they didn't entirely for trying to kill him and he was being a king with that compassion, showing mercy. To those that don't deserve it, like a true soldier would have, not a cold blooded murderer, and they were.
Watching as he got him out of his clothes, and changed into a some pajama sweats then, and he laid him back down. "Yeah 3 year old boy trapped in his adult body, and we're 30 years younger here right now." Coyote said and Hoffman nodded in agreement. "If that's not being parental and nothing ever is, we practically raised him ourselves, that it's going parent here. Mother or father and he's needed something to bring his fever down." Levy said as Stone went to get it.
In muscle relaxants and the blood pressure medication. "How long do those 3 last, in I.V. form exactly?" Hammond asked and Carson explained that. "That's 6 to 8 hours, but the I.V. version is faster then the oral version, as this is instantaneous now. What he's doing is bringing down the symptoms of the fever, as he sleeps this off." he said and Hammond nodded as Hoffman ran his hand through his hair gently then. 'No want nap.' they heard gently and he smiled then.
'Yeah there it is, my baby just came back out, baby doesn't want a nap, but too tired to stay awake.' they heard with a chuckle. "Shh, just sleep baby, you been up too long." he said soothingly to him, keeping his arm wrapped across his waist. 'Book then nap, after left 'quarium base 'gain, papa, like when 'eenage me.' he heard and they chuckled. "That's cute, he's remembering all the time's he read to him when as a teenager at the time here."
"When he got sick now, that he wants that again, with him in recovery from this injury." Barnes said smiling to that response, and Hoffman nodded with a chuckle. "Eenage, that's toddler for teenage, he means like when he used to read to him as a teenager now. Though a psychiatrist, he spent all his time acting like a father to him now when he was 14 to 19." Stone said in understanding and Barnes nodded. "Like he said favorite uncle." Carson said to this then gently.
"Two uncle psychiatrists, the third the great grandfather here right now, but he been in habitats now for 20 years here, he just lost 5 years. And since the acceptance of the stargate program, he decided return back to the beginning, when he was still a kid now." Barnes said and they nodded gently to that news. "Well I think that means the habitat, as little him doesn't know what a habitat is here now, though 8 year old him does." Jackson said to that, smiling then.
"Yes, but not right now, you need rest, so shh." Hoffman said softly and it went quiet, as she brought the cocktail, and he gently gave it to him. Before wrapping the blanket across his chest, as the cat curled up next to him. "Mew." he said and they nodded. "Yes stay with him, till we get back up here." he said and he mewed a second time in response. "She's still out right now, Brandon." Jackson said and he nodded as he said it to them as they looked at him.
"Let's get her prepped right now, Karen, keeping her out." he said and she nodded, as she pulled another dose out and the duo hold her down, as she injected it into her arm. As they finished the repair job to the habitat, as they all laid down themselves gently at that. "And that would be us, if we acted rationally, and as she recovered from the blow to her heart. The team came out alive, and Bruce and Marian see we got what they meant." Owen said to that gently.
And Liam nodded in agreement then. "Well I have the feeling, most people never liked the endings, and decided to make it so we both survived, you guys together. And as did Liam and me, I get my happily ever after, as I join Liam's research department. To deal with the trauma, we decide to try again, and this time, repair the damage, now that I knew the house. Belongs to me and I think he stays in the doors, so long as the keeper is there." Taylor said and he nodded.
Waking up 15 hours later and feeling rested finally, she went to deliver the next dose to Sam, and as they finished off the repair job, as Daniel, in his sleep. Gently manifested some new books and movies for the incoming team arriving, as they appeared on the table. And Hoffman chuckled then. "Brandon." they heard softly and he saw the team, and Liam's unit then, just getting in and they nodded. "Come on, let's get you out of here." Coyote said to him then.
"Transporter room pad, and right to the infirmary, she's being sent to the Edina side of the medical department, her first then him. But we're keeping her sedated till day 12, but remember your realization, she was attempting that." she said and he nodded sternly to her. "We just erase everything that happened from her mind, though we hang onto it, her desperation triggered an attack of this magnitude." he said and Hoffman nodded.
"How's he doing?" Dale asked him and he nodded. "His adrenaline levels finally caved, he passed out directly after we got him in bed. That we've slept off 15 of the 16 hours, and he manifested some new entertainment for Liam's unit." he said and Dale nodded, as he checked his temperature, and his eyes narrowed firmly then. "He's suffering NGF, that's why he passed out on you, well better when the timer ran out now, then before."
"Baby, you hear me." he said softly and his eyes opened. "Dr. Patterson, yeah I feel like I'm on fire here right now." he said and he nodded. "That cocktail he gave you did the trick right now, in bringing your fever down. But you're suffering another round of neurogenic fever here, you're going to be under observation. And for a few weeks, but after this incident, it's okay, the concussion last week finally caught up with you."
"So you're going to be in bed for a while and as you sleep this off, but the team are alive, Brandon was telling you the truth." he said and Coyote stepped forward. "Hey buddy, just relax, we'll be here." he said softly and relaxed gently. "And there's why being around her or Jack is too dangerous, our job here is a little dangerous. But no where as dangerous as going to system lord renegade planets." he said and they nodded.
As Dale injected a sedative into his arm as he felt safe, surrounded by his adopted uncles and mother then, as he fell asleep a second time. "Long story, needless to say here, what happened last week, when she killed their clones. Is nothing to the fight to the death here, regarding the final thirty minutes, till we changed the ending. And flooded the lab with anestazine." Hoffman said and he nodded sternly, as they got him on the pad.
And teleported to the decompression chamber which had 10 beds in it, and some books, movies and a couple games, as well as a replicator, to create food and drinks. So the room was quite comfortable, as he was asleep, curled up on his designated bed. And as the trio followed him, and settled in, as they waited out their 10 days, before the infirmary. "As for her realization, now knowing her psychosis was proven correct in this episode." Haden said to that sternly.
"With that head injury, he needs to be in the hospital, under observation for a few weeks right now, but compared to winding up in that. But she's is as crazy as my version of Halperin was here, only difference is we never killed each other. And yanked out, leaving them to die down there, here we're banding together, to deal with the single nut on the team. And till we have enough to have her committed for life now." Stone said and she swallowed hard at the insults.
"Yeah you better be afraid, you know we know what you're doing and you're facing being committed, but not a relapse, they're still holding onto that psychosis. They could be anywhere, anything could be tanked by the elixir, so her mind snapped. But that decision, kill anyone he loves to break him and get him back to the Colorado Springs. Well that deserves this decision entirely, she's as crazy as he is now." Hammond said sternly to this then at her response.
"Yeah that's plenty right now, after we realized she barely burned down my kitchen, we all had enough of this, as Daniel has to force another dose out. In altering their memories, but he can't do it alone, without knocking himself unconscious for a week." Levy said and he and Jackson nodded. "Hence why, he was still asleep after 3 days, Dale had him sedated, and he been sleeping off the concussion, finally coming too the day we do it." Hoffman said and she nodded.
"Brandon told me everything here about this, she's ignoring everything in the team, just to protect herself, well now she sees what's it like. To be treated like she's crazy now, but to quote you, you spent a lot of time, locked in that little room to think about this. Why are you back to normal, and coincidentally hours after touching you, is Teal'C sick. It's because the damn thing was dormant, waiting to find another symbiote." she said and Sam went white in fear then.
"Ente?" Hoffman asked and a woman of 58 years old appeared, as she looked at her double with Daniel, who had her arm wrapped around Daniel's waist and nodded smiling. "Team mother, he's closest to us, in the parental aspect?" she asked and Levy nodded smiling gently. "Hey Barbara, listen we have a part for you, as you're part of the team here, in terms of characters. As the team mother matron, our youngest is 28, next is 34." Hoffman said and she nodded, smiling.
"Fair enough, making sure you're well fed and we're dealing with some interesting side effects right now, here, with the fact we don't have a medtech on the team.
