Stargate Atlantis Trading Grounds I: The Return To La Rochelle

Warnings: With these chapters it gives a surprise look at what happened after the trilogy, in the Mighty Ducks movies, as instead of them being destroyed. And falling apart, Bombay quits the offer here, at the Goodwill Games and trains the next generation. As the pre academy unit in Atlantic City, is none other then the Minneapolis Mighty Ducks. Movie 3, and both sides of the team combine together as one now here finally.

As Wesley Crusher becomes the best of friends with the team, and he and his unit join forces with them and their entire team and give the Hawks, who are the Edina Hawks. From the movie trilogy, a real run for their money now, as the year goes by, as the teams at the academy are created in the added sports now, as the years go by here. Taking on the names of the Districts, the Atlantic City Knights and Edina Red Hawks.

But if anyone noticed here in the continued references to the movie script of Sphere, the story is going to follow some of it, but changes in other areas. And this story on Sphere, is going to be book 3 of the 6 part series I'm creating now. Basing it from now, to end of Season 5, and instead of dead, Daniel's going to be training to be a Q. And like season 6 showed, only 3 of the 22 episodes, has him with the trio, the others.

He's there at the SGA, Daniel's clone, turned twin brother ascended and Daniel is at the SGA, making his powers stronger. As the last episode unlocked his potential completely, though by doing that, everything that came with it. Starts coming out in visions, till they reach my other story, of the Past and Present series. Till the final shot results now here in the 5 years he spent, on board the enterprise, there in Antarctica.

With this series, there's going to be a severe amount of backlash brought on by the traumas of Hathor and Machello. But the connector here is going to be Need and Shyla's kingdom, so for Sam and Jack. The events of Hathor and Shyla have stuck, leaving them facing a backlash that has Daniel. And Teal'C, on one side of the line, them on the other, in basing this solely on the book series on the movie, directly after it.

The events are altered to it being civilian ran with military help and the SGA is just that, as Jack and Makepeace get the entirety of the consequences. That resulted in Daniel becoming a pariah now in that book series, only now it's reversed here. So everything negative on Daniel is Jack now, in the SGA and everything Jack is Daniel. In the SGC ops, but it's because of the permanent effects of Hathor's pheromones.

This story and it's followers are going to match the dialog, in the flashback memories, of chapter 4, of the past meets the present series. As it also follows the complete mental breakdowns, of the human half of the team. And Robert Makepeace and Adam Johnson, so the story is going to follow the dialog to the letter exactly. Along with some new dialog that was not in the fast forwarded portion in the flashbacks.

Basing this in real time, rather then the show, of 25 years ago, Antarctica was a neutral zone for research so military research was not allowed out there. And with it, as the chair is considered military technology, it was meant to be last resort. In case of another orbital attack, so the outpost is now trade and exploration. So with this chapter, is the colony/crew is now getting used to being a slightly underwater crew.

As he's getting to work in trading to bring in more improvement for the planet at large now, so a military attack. Just to bring him back to the states, is attempted, is an international. In incidents and enough to get them convicted for kidnapping now, with his clearance. So from here, is he's dropping in on Ry'ac and Drey'auc and before the press conference. And just before his first stop in planets is to Gaea, home of the Nox.

This chapter will finish off this portion of the story-line, as the next two chapters and forward, cover chapter 2, going by the name. And of The Glory Of Tantulus, which covers things, from his going to the races and Tok'ra creation of the treaty. And his return to Shyla, before the following Chapters cover the the breakdowns of the trio and Carter, who's lost her ability to function mentally, out of desperation now.

As the mission was sanctioned, and he was transferred to Landry and the Atlantis team at the time. As Rodney McKay, Cam Mitchell, Vala Mal Doran, Hank Landry, Frank Simmons, Steven Caldwell, John Shepard. And Elizabeth Weir enter the picture here, the story will have Daniel and Teal'C joining their team. As the SGA is founded 5 years early, and moved into the outpost on earth….

Chapter 106: New Futures And Fresh Starts II: Time's Arrow and Recovery II

"Well that should be good, first Queenie's clone, then Marga, Dustin and Michael in the surveillance room, and we are scattered around the galley. Till she comes in, with a file saying the updated orders, given by John, we all went in. Only she doesn't know that, so not us, her, that jelly matches the one that stung her." Stone said and he nodded. "So if not just the jelly, what else is down here exactly, and her paranoia's getting worse." Jackson said to that gently.

"Young lady, just what is your problem, is it because we give orders you never agree with, or is it just because Daniel is given orders you were never meant to know?" Jacob asked and she swallowed hard at that. "It's both, General, she's acting like a 34 year old me, what's your opinion, after you assign me a said assignment and I change the assignment." Jenny asked and he nodded. "The assignment is stupid, but still the assignment." he said and she swallowed.

"You're my daughter as a teenager, you're that good?" he asked and she nodded. "Yeah and my best friend got Daniel's attention on her, but the academy in Colorado was her domain. Here this is mine, and I'm the best at what I do with Professor Mckay training me right now." she said and he nodded smiling then. "That's my back up job, I'm training engineering teenagers, but otherwise here, I'm a field team, under Colonel Cromwell." he said and Jacob nodded then.

"I can take a guess here now, she's seeing this, as why did the orders change at the last minute, and you're all fine with this, but then again, you all been doing this so long. That this is normal, and to answer the unasked question here, your considerations, all true I might add. When she was 12, we went to the beach, and not realizing the man o wars were out in force. She got stung three times, and when she was 15, she got snagged by a normal sized squid here."

"Ever since, she's scared to be out that deep in the ocean right now." Jacob said and he nodded gently. "So why is she coming to our domain, we're deepsea divers and been trained to handle being this?" he asked and Jacob ran his hand through his hair. "She had a tough time letting go, after the year came to an end, and was hoping, we'd find him again. So having him back now, she's determined to not let go, and give him some space." he said and Barnes nodded gently.

And Stone nodded as she uploaded her argument, only Sam in her place, the 5 of them were there in the galley, Shanks and Hoffman in the video feed room. And Marga was outside dropping off the delivery, of the tapes to bring to the surface. "You have to look at this." Sam said, coming into the room, and with a piece of paper. "What?" Schrieber asked and she said it. "There's a record here of a transmission to the surface, just before the submarine."

"In truth, was due to pick us up." she said and he said it. "Let me take a look at that." Coyote said and Sam debates turning it over to him, and Barnes gives her a sardonic look then, takes the page and reads it. "Although advised of risks, all personnel elect to remain down for duration of storm to continue investigation', you ever stop to think. That Haden wanted us under quarantine, till he's sure." he asked her, smiling, and she froze.

"And here's the read on report, after I realized you disappeared, before I went looking for you, 'Any going into artifact. Are under quarantine for the duration of storm, to get their new abilities under control, logistics will beam in supplies as needed. But otherwise, all infected personnel using artifact are to remain in isolation till abilities. Are controlled and not suffering megalomaniacal tendencies.'." Jackson read out to her.

"Considering Brandon is the expert in precognitive abilities, after working with me, Daniel, Nathan, Billy, Wes and Alex for the last year, we got our powers as Jedi. Now, under control, so we see this, that's Daniel and me, as further enhancement. But our Ancient powers are not triggering any megalomaniacal symptoms. So we see how we do with the side effects of the sphere, but as your mind is not equipped here now."

"Whoever out of the group went into the sphere, is being quarantined till they have it control, Captain, so to translate. This is continued investigation, as whoever infiltrated alien artifact, is to remain in quarantine, till they have it under control." he said, translating and she froze in shock and Coyote smiles his Cheshire cat grin. "But Sam, we never elected to remain, we elected to return to the base, after several days now."

"When in decompression." he said and she nodded. "Exactly." she said to him and Schrieber nodded. "Who sent the message?" he asked and she explained that. "The signature is encoded, remember what happened: the submarine was coming. But Renfro said she wasn't getting a reading, but the truth is, the submarine was never coming." she said, looking at Coyote. "Somebody told it not to come." she said, and Stone said it then firmly.

"Oh are you making implications again, you remember what he said, every time the orders never make sense. You see this as we been replaced, or duplicated, it's back to this again, the orders never make sense. To Officers as young as you, it's like the assignment, the assignment is lame true, but that's still the assignment?" he asked and she froze at that, realizing she was doing it again, and he just bagged her at that remark.

"Since you're clearly new at this, here's the exact point now Sam, but in case of severe weather, and one of us ops to stay here, we all stay here, one of us leaves. We all leave, but you're simply a lieutenant, we been doing this longer now. But after you brought back two viruses, and the third nearly started growing out of the lab. We decided to insure this one stays quarantined till we're sure it's not a contagion."

"That thing could be considered contaminated, whoever between us went in, we're in quarantine, till we see the side effects, Brandon's orders, his being the team psychiatrist, so half the team tested out the effects. The other were watching mental and physical side effects, basic protocols now. Or is this about breaking orders again, orders are lame, that maybe, but still we have our orders." Stone said sternly to her then.

As Patterson came down, gripping Stone's shoulders, and whispered in her ear and she nodded sternly. "But here's our point now, after you broke containment three times, and infecting everyone or nearly, after Mycenae now. We're not having this leaving the habitat till we got it under control now, so knock it off, Lieutenant. This may seem strange, but then, our decisions never make sense to someone your age right now."

"Derek, Brandon and I decided this together, anyone that decides to go in, is quarantined and thanks to you, we missed our bus. So we're stuck for the duration, now knock it off, the only person that should be blamed here, is you." Barnes said sternly, looking at her and she started shaking in fear. "Hey Dave, we're got the surveillance videos up here, Teeny's got drop off!" Shanks called out from above them and he nodded.

As he looked at her as he said it warningly. "There's the point, after you jumped in there, Eric followed you, and unlocked the door here." he said and she paled, realizing, she never remembered going in, and was unconscious for 2 days. "Can't remember going in, just like you never remembered his advice, and get slapped with the penalty. But you been knocked unconscious and the first indication of trouble we get your coming around."

"Is a bunch of jellyfish, but funny thing here, the species of the jellyfish that attacked matched the ones in Miami, Florida to be exact, man o wars. Is there something you would like to tell us, Daniel's not afraid of jellyfish. Are you afraid of going deeper then 10ft in, because you scuba dived and got stung as a child here?" he asked and she backed up then, realizing he was referencing something, but what she wasn't sure of then.

"My point is, that for someone, who never accessed and controlled the darker portions of their minds. They can manifest up some dangerous side effects, real or not and not the make believe turned true. Someone's subconscious thoughts just ended up on that computer, that's not an alien. But your internal thoughts are being broadcasted and we're interacting with them as what was said on that monitor, is not alien here."

"But rather a member of the team making movie jokes, after Karen said the damn thing was kidding, but see it to be, see it to be a source. And of overlying good in the world, we use it to erase all wars from the planet, world peace. Or want it to be, want it to be used as a weapon, we're see it to be, a way to create planetary peace. But what about you, you think it could be used for your plan: an underlying agenda now."

"If we lost a crew member, supposedly?" he asked and she started, shaking. "Really what's your intent, after he refused to go back, saying he's happy right here. He's never felt stronger, or more alive again, why go back to lousy hours, constant peril. Being treated like a lunatic and abused by you." he said and she started shaking. "You can't prove anything." she said and he smiled, and she swallowed hard at that response.

"And neither can you, Haden gave Brandon and me orders, whoever goes in, is in quarantine till they control their ability to be a master builder here. Which is what this power really is, manifest the best in us all, use it for overwhelming good. In the world right now." he said and a second later, a set of blueprints manifested in the table, and Jackson nodded, as he saw it. "Advanced homeless shelters, good idea." He said smiling at that.

"Daniel's ability is already coming to fruition, looking at all the ways to better improve the planet, rather then endless wars now, military technology. This is what we should be doing, rather then focus on more weapons." he said, as another appeared, this time carrying blueprints for an advanced form of storm shelters. "Whoa, goa'uld shield and we can protect the entire area, during hurricane season." Stone said smiling to that idea.

"Uh let's see here, yeah 350 mile wide area range, from Texas into Missouri now, that's the alley, and then during areas constantly hit. By tornadoes and hurricanes, we have these to protect the areas, so tornadoes. Derechos and hurricanes, no longer a problem, we just turn on the weather shield. And the storm chasers can see the damn thing up close and personal now." Jackson said smiling and Coyote chuckled and nodded

Before a third appeared, and this time with a picture of Zat gun in the corner and Alexander looked from it to the devices and chuckled. "Pollution destroyer, Zat guns the size of a ray gun, we start piling all the garbage together, and then 3 shots. And with that ray gun, we destroy any and all waste now, eliminating the amount of pollution created." he said and Coyote nodded smiling. "Yeah good idea." Hammond said smiling at his idea then.

"Alright baby, that's good for now." Streisand said, before a fourth arrived in response and Stone started laughing at that. "Young man that's enough of that already, you made your point, benefits for the good of mankind, all mankind, not just this country." he said, looking up at the ceiling, with the UAV room right above them, with a bemused smile. "Here's where controlling this power gets you now, learning to control it now, but honestly."

"What are you saying here, Sam…, you think it was me, I'm simply next in command, Brandon's the leader of the team here. But he and I had orders by Haden and the medical 5 stars, that whoever goes into the sphere. Is placed in quarantine till they control it." he asked her and she realized she was getting confrontational. "Was it?" she said and he nodded. "I don't know, Beth.., maybe it was Cam." he said with a bemused smile.

"Cam doesn't know the code and he can't read minds, though Daniel can." she said and Jackson stepped in. "And so can I, Captain, I'm also Jedi descent." he said and she froze then, in shock, and Barnes chuckled, knowing his two Jedi members were good at mind reading. "Not a he, but a she, the voice sounded female." Stone said sternly to her then. "And it sounds like it's quoting the movie too, I make a journey, you make a journey.'.

"We make a journey together.', does that in anyway match the tones, of an alien, or somebody's between us consciousness making movie jokes now. And when Daniel said you're not a Crichton fan." he said and she froze up in shock. "So maybe he can, maybe he can read minds here right now, and decided now. To change time frames, extending our time down here, oh that's a good one." he said and Jackson smiled then.

"It had to be you or Renfro or Fletcher…, you're the only ones who knew the codes." she said and Stone smiled. "As does Daniel and Brandon, could be me, or it could be Ted, even Eric." she said and she tried to keep from shaking, realizing her hurling accusations was having them think she was getting paranoid. "And there's no place else this message could have come from? Like maybe you made it up?" Coyote said in agreement to this at that.

"Eric, you think we're going to die down here. How? They told us we'd be safe. Who wants us to die?" she said, looking between them and Jackson shrugs. "I don't know, Sam." he said and Schreiber nodded in agreement. "It's not Dave, Beth, it's jellyfish and God knows what else down here." he said and she said it. "Don't you see what's going on? He wanted us to stay down here." she said and he nodded as Coyote smiled sternly then.

"Well that sounds familiar, I do recall you making the same accusations on Daniel, and the ending results are it nearly kills 75 people. Uh let me see if I remember this, 'Sir I think Daniel needs to be confined, he's clearly addicted. And to the effects of the sarcophagus,' or don't you remember Brandon and I came to the SGC. Check on this hostage situation of your's, your only failsafe is Shyla, well sorry right now, Sam."

"I never forgot O'neill's reaction to Haden forcefully yanking him out of SGC custody, that I got to wonder, are you the most uniquely qualified in your field. What exactly are your qualifications, just why are you here exactly. We know why we're here, to study that thing under controlled conditions, but why are you here." he said and she went pale, now hearing the warning tone, as her in real time, she was there to try now.

And convince him to come back, but the answer was still no, and the trio all looked at her carefully, as Streisand crossed her arms. "Does this explain why my stove suddenly got too hot now, she's begging him to come back and he's refusing right now. It's been 11 months, I forgot her face, till her annoying him nearly started a grease fire. At my stove now." she said and Sam went white in shock, realizing she nearly burned it down.

In the case of the kitchen. "Yeah it is Rosy, she's pissing him off enough to blow something up." he said and she swallowed. "Hold on, out of us, Teeny, Queenie and I are the ones interacting with her and O'neill on the radio. She practically screamed at him, after he accused her mind of snapping, and O'neill's with her. After they walked in there to find him, but to quote Beth, that's what this is about, you're embarrassed."

"Well humiliated makes it a bit more accurate, she's humiliated beyond belief, why can he handle it and she can't." Schrieber said and he nodded. "Starting to remember now son, you, Queenie, Teeny and I were the ones that confronted her and O'neill." he said and Dale and Streisand crossed their arms and Jackson and Stone both looked at her. And with a stern look and she started shaking, realizing they were the ones that confronted her.

"Her opinion 2 years ago, over holding him hostage nearly slaughtered 75 people, waking up for breakfast one morning this week. Based on the stress of repeated fights lately between them I found his door locked again. And found Goldie sleeping in the bed, curled up, like he was still a cub. Trying to wake him up he pushed his head under my arm, in response, before he came to." Stone said slowly, and they looked at her then.

"Not good right now, bad dreams, he went wolf at night, when trying to wake him up, he pushed his head under your arm, so your arm was across his shoulders. The little boy in him needs us to protect him, and it's because the mere thought of returning there…." Jackson started to say and they all froze and Schrieber said it warningly then. "Nice memory, so she's that Captain Samantha Carter." Arquette said and he nodded sternly.

"She is, after meeting Daniel face to face, it been 7 years since I saw him last now, and that was when he kept coming back to us over the summer. That I been there 30 minutes, and directly after Brandon said he was free to go here. And they tried to find some reason and for him to stay put, but Hammond. And Sanderson, deactivated them indefinitely at the time they're under arrest for attempted murder and kidnapping."

"Let alone false diagnosis here and O'neill screamed here, that they couldn't do that, but the scream was that of a savage here now, Ted. But they took him and now they think they own him now, they're trying to destroy him. And Danny showed them the true meaning of pain, by taking away their dignity. And half their genomes and they're trying to destroy him in this war of psychiatry, and her, every time he doesn't now."

"Cooperate with her train of thought, she blames it on Shyla, before Daniel turned it back around and blamed her's on Jolinar. His exact words are jealous that anyone is, in science, doing better than she does, it's Jolinar, her father bashing her. For rushing the advancements and her irritation on that: Jolinar, the fact no one. Is listening to her opinion, after she nearly slaughtered 150 soldiers trying to do it her way: Jolinar."

"Even after a year no one let it go, and again: Jolinar, everytime she acts like a spoiled brat he blames Jolinar. After they tried to force the issue, Daniel, he was drenched in sweat, and shaking uncontrollably. They abused him so much that he needed the cage, he wanted the cage, get him out of reach. Send him back to Shyla, anything, but he doesn't want to be near these guys." he said and they nodded sternly at the news then.

And the trio all looked at her, and she went pale, realizing how bad this looked now, he and Hoffman knew the most, and currently Daniel was with Hoffman. "Aside from that, I wanted to stay down here all along." Schrieber said to her then sternly at that response. "But he said we were going back. Why did he lie, why did he send the submarine back?" she said and he shrugs, as he goes back to making his coffee, as Jackson is working on the decode.

"You sure are one hell a woman, I wish I could've seen you in the old days, from what Daniel tells me you were quite..." he started to say, but lets it hang there, as he looks at her and Jackson and Stone exchange a look as she confronts him. "What did Daniel tell you?" she said, knowing he remembered the confrontation at the SGC the year before, but if Daniel told him further, he saw her the way his book double saw Stone's character at the time then.

"Well let's put it this way, that if Cam could read your mind, she'd sure be bored with ours." he said smiling then as Sam looks at Barnes, in an instant she knows that Daniel betrayed her, as his words, 'new team, new loyalties. And not duty bound to protect her secrets' shot through she knew he betrayed her. "Okay: So that's how it's gonna be then." she said and Hoffman nodded. "Well that sounds like a threat here." he said and the sextet nodded then.

Hearing the thumping as Hoffman and Shanks are looking at static on the computer screens. "Teeny: What's that sound? Did you hear it?" Shanks said and he nodded then and Hoffman said it sharply "Teeny, Teeny, can you hear me? Did you hear that thump? Teeny, what is that sound? Teeny...can you hear me? Teeny." he said, trying to raise her on the radio. "She's not there." Shanks said and he nodded. "Hell." he said sternly to this.

"Karen, I need you to join me in the dressing room now, Dave, join Daniel, better get up here, Teeny's missing, something's going on here right now." he said and the quartet charged out of the room, as something dark swims by the ceiling, of the galley. "Damn it, she doesn't read the old fashion novels, and she's not Crichton or Heinlein fan. We have a giant cephalopod swimming around out there, watch yourself, Uncle Brandon."

"Dave just ticked her off, and I'm not duty bound to protect her secrets anymore, not after she stabbed me in the back last year." Shanks said and he nodded. "I know that, but he must have reminded her about the argument that we had. And before the trio realized, she's that Samantha Carter, and now knows, she's under psyche. So I better investigate what the hell that noise is right now." he said and Shanks nodded then.

As he stayed at the radio, before seeing an image of a squid on the monitor, as he charged to the dressing room, and Schreiber, Jackson and Coyote joined him in the AV room then. "I spotted what look like a squid outside on the habitat here, could be a big one now. So be on the lookout here out there." he said and she nodded. "We are 47ft above the threshold, it could have gotten into the piping." she said and he nodded in agreement.

"Once we get back on board, lock the god damn door, double the locks, closed, locked and barricaded, it's not getting in here through the wetpool." Hoffman said and Coyote nodded as she went to join Hoffman as they went to check. "Okay that should do it now." Levinson said and they nodded. "If that predator smile doesn't say you know what she intends, nothing ever does Peter, you just scared her out of her wits." Stone said, smiling at him then.

"Different character, but still the same personality here, that I need as much as possible, as I call Daniel to my office, and he explains everything he knows to me. As this is not patient/doctor confidentiality, but rather the ex team mate telling me, his father commander. How crazy she really is, as I have Chris and Earl's notes on hand here right now about her." he said and Sam swallowed hard, realizing they chose the man that played Siblerman to play Hancock then.

"Thanks, but there's the existing decision, she may try to claim that she's healing, but I don't believe that, I know how smart she is. I know she's only telling me what I want to hear, I don't think she's really believing what she's telling me today. I figure if I put her in minimum security, she's only just going to try and escape again." The actor said in response and Hammond nodded, and she swallowed, knowing she would, she had to get to him, get him to come back.

"She goes Linda on me, I need those intars, so she never shoots someone with it, and I can get the security and orderly members that were dealing with Linda to." Earl Boen said and they nodded. "If that's not saying she lost touch with reality and nothing ever does, but like Eddie, I don't want anything to do with her, she's the crazy jealous type. And murdered my wife, she nearly killed 75 to 85 people, she joined with them, in claiming here I'm crazy, dangerous."

"And out of control, and she's trying to make us understand she's only trying to protect herself, there is no forgiveness, Earl, you're playing James Hancock. And your expertise is female soldiers, you're the civilian psychiatrist in charge of the hospital. Which looks like an exact replicate of Pescadaro state hospital." Daniel said and he and his team nodded sternly. "Now meaning we can trace the halls, and get around now, so we know where everything is here."

"All too easy, so just like the state hospital in California, we can do this easily, so everything is right where it should be, and she's in the maximum security ward." the actress/security guard said and he nodded. "In this case, it's not quite live viewing, more like your book selves are dealing with a repeater here, of Linda herself." he said and they nodded gently then. "We understand, we're treating her the way we did Linda now." the actor/orderly, that called her.

And by name, said then gently. "We're not showing the next book in the show now, but we do books 3 and 4, so we're in our voices are there in book form, including the two doctors. Dealing with Conrad, in looks and personality, I want to know what being a host and surviving it. Did to her body, and after they extracted enough of the antibiotic to kill the contagion from her." Hancock said and he nodded. "Like I said a nutbag, she's crazy." Coyote said and he smiled.

"Nice reminding her about our confrontation though Peter, make it clear, you know her record, and further emphasize here about Chris's observations here now. I never needed to hide anything, just based on my reaction, and your own memories. And they get a clear view of who she is, and dead man walking, you and Dustin spot turns with me. I'm with either of you, but a group meeting, I'm normally surrounded by Liev, Sharon and Sam." Daniel said and he smiled.

"Issues in the job, it took less then a few months, I still see you as a son, to me now, why am I allowing this nutbag anywhere near you, when we're preparing now. To do our next circuit, and with the ship recreational and circulation libraries there's tons of books. Movies and board games to stay occupied, so after a day running studies, it was time for dinner. Gang time as a team, then time to hit the hay for the night, this was normal now to us now in truth here now."
