Hey there guys! Been awhile huh? Well sorry for that, I had a collab story I was doing with a friend then a coupe others things came up. But now I can start on the next chapter of this story. Now this chapter, we're going to be saying hello to Star's best friend from Mewni… PonyHead. (Cricket chirps); Yeah, figured I get that reaction. Just hear me out, this will play out much differently from the episode as we'll have someone or somebodies joining in on the fun. Can't tell you or it will spoil the surprise of the chapter; bit I'll give you all three hints. White Comet, Raiden, Rabbit. Now for those who play a certain app game, you should know who those words best represent.
Now that we have that done, let's get to the story already!
Chapter 3: Party Pony and Guests Pt.1
One-night Star, Rita and Hibiki were in the living room playing a board game, while Marco was in the kitchen making a snack. Marco's parents had gone out for the night, leaving Marco in charge of the house while they were out.
"Oh come on! This is crazy!" Star shouted from the living room. "How come I somehow always get stuck picking up more cards when it's my turn!?"
"Maybe mark it as bad luck?" Hibiki said.
"Or maybe it has to do with the fact that you just happen to have three 'draw four' cards in your hand and wait for when I lay down a 'draw two' card to avoid getting flooded with more cards" Rita said.
"That's called being strategic, there's nothing wrong with that." Hibiki said, while grinning slightly. "Now Star, I believe you have to pick up four cards from the deck now?"
"Yeah, yeah, I'm drawing." Star said as she begrudgingly pulled four cards to add to the seven she was already holding. "This is so not fair; Rita you've got four cards, Hibiki has three left and I'm stuck with nine."
"I told you to wait till I could join in Star." Marco said as he came out of the kitchen carrying a tray with a large bowel of chips and four cups of lemonade. "Because whenever it's three people playing this game and these two are in it, the third person will usually get stuck in the cross fire."
"Yeah, I think I'll take your word on this one, Marco." Star said as she took a hand full of chips.
But before she could stuff them into her mouth, there was a knock at the door.
"I wonder who that could be?" Rita asked as she got up and went to answer the door. When she opened it though, she found that no one was out there. "That's odd, I thought someone was knocking on the door."
"Try looking up girl!" A voice said.
"Huh?" Rita looks up and sees a floating disembodied unicorn head with light blue fur, a pink mane, teal eyes with gold stars for pupils, and a teal, striped horn. On the side of the floating head's neck, there is a pink heart. Sparkles and glitter tend to fall out of the bottom of her neck. "Oh, your… part of the Pony Head Royal Family of the Cloud Kingdom on Mewni, correct?"
"Whoa back up a second, I ain't just a part of the family girl. You talking to the princess, you feel me?" The floating Unicorn head said in a sassy tone.
"Rita, who's at the door?" Marco asked as he walked over. He then saw the floating unicorn head hovering on the door step. "Uh, what is?"
"I have no clue." Rita said. "Star? Could you come to the door please?"
"Coming!" Star said as she walked over. "So Rita, what did you call me – Pony Head!" Star shouted excitedly upon seeing the floating unicorn head as the two shared a hug.
"Hey B-Fly! Girl, I thought when your mom said you'd be going somewhere to practice your magic. But it looks more like she just sent you off to live with some of your relatives." Pony Head said as she got a good look at Rita and Marco. "But girl, I thought only the girls in your family got check marks. So how come this guy here has these little C's on his face?"
"Um, their crescent moons actually." Marco corrected. "Also, we're not from the Butterfly family."
"Yeah; Pony Head, I want you to meet Marco, Rita and… hold on a second." Star said as she went back inside and in a few second, came back pushing Hibiki out in front of her. "And this guy here is Hibiki. My best friends and also part of that huge family that have been friends with my family for like a long time and also have cheek marks."
"Ooooh, you mean those guys that are like super good with swords and stuff? What was their names again? Uhhh, Day-something?" Pony Head said as she was trying to remember, before also picking up on the first thing Star said. "Wait, these three are your best friends?"
"Huh?" Star said before realizing what Pony Head meant. "Oh no, they're my best friends on earth. Your my best friend on Mewni."
"Also the name you were referring to was Dayragon." Hibiki said. "Star, who is this?"
"Guys, this is Flying Princess Pony Head! Or Pony Head for short. She's the Pony I was telling you guys about" Star said happily. "So, what are you doing here?"
"What am I doing here? Girl, I came here to bring you out on a night of partying!" Pony Head said. "You ready to make some bad choices!?"
"Yeah! Party Time! Whoa!" Star shouted getting pumped.
"Uh Star? I don't mean to burst your party bubble," Marco said, "but didn't my mom say you weren't to leave earth unless it was with us on training or an assignment from the others families?" he reminded her.
"Also the promise of 'bad choices', doesn't sound too… promising of a good night out." Rita added.
Suddenly a swirling blue portal appeared in front of the five, as three girls came through it.
The first girl was slender and of average height with blue eyes and white hair that was done in twin braids and had an ahoge (lit. idiot hair) on the top of her head. She was wearing a hooded jacket with long orange sleeves with gray and white over a white T-shirt, black shorts, long black socks and long brown buckled boots that stopped at her knees. On her cheeks where a pair of golden sword with wings on their sides.
The second girl had purple eyes and thigh-length black hair with half of it tied up in a ponytail and decorated with pin and other hair accessories. She wore a long white shirt that had a depiction of a purple arrow pointing down and two grey strips on both sides. It also had two black straps that connected to a black choker around her neck and blue shorts. A white, long-sleeved jacket with blue cuffs was worn over this in an off the shoulders fashion. She wore long black socks that had white lines that formed a diamond design on them and black and white trainers that had glowing blue rings on them. Finally, on her lower back was a white and blue sheathe for the sword she carried. On her cheeks were a pair of purple lightning bolts crossed with a sword.
Finally, the last girl was easily the shortest of the three. She had a slime figure and piercing silver eyes and hair which was tied up in signature double pigtails in a drill shape and included matching ribbons. She was wearing a yellow shirt with black leggings and cuffed blue boots with yellow straps. Lastly, she wore a longed sleeved blue coat that had white fur around the sleeves and collar. Her cheek marks were very… interesting, as they were blue and in the shape of shields with the head of a rabbit in the center of them.
"You could've waited for us before running off you flying horse head!" The white haired girl yelled at Pony Head. "You can't just take off and leave us in the dust like that!"
"Alright, alright girl. Dang, take a chill pill already." Pony Head said as she floated over to the other girls. "And it's not like I meant to leave you behind or anything, not after everything you and M – Girl here did to keep me out of going to Saint O's." she said looking over to the long black haired girl. "Seriously girl, you helped save my none existing unicorn butt back there."
"It was nothing really; I just did what I could to help." The black haired girl said. "And really it was our parents who helped the most."
"You mean your parents and my mom, Mei." The white haired girl said. "My old man barely did anything to help out."
"Kiana, it's the thought that counts." The girl named Mei said to the girl now known as Kiana.
"Yeah well anyway; hey Star, how's it been going?" Kiana greeted as she moved passed Pony Head and went up to the princess.
"Kiana! Oh my goodness! I didn't know you'd be coming here too!" Star said excitedly as she jumped and hugged the older white haired girl. "And Mei's with you too, that's even better. But, who's the little girl over there? I don't think I've ever met her."
Said girl begins to walk over until she is in front of Star and Kiana and stares at Star.
"Uhh…" Star says unsure of what to say or do, until the girl begins to speak.
"The Bronya wishes to initiate a greeting to Subject Princess Star Butterfly." The girl said in a monotone voice.
"Umm… huh?" Star asked confused as she looked to Kiana for an answer.
"Okay, let me translate; Star this pipsqueak here is Bronya Zaychik. She was found wondering around outside the Forest of Certain Death by someone from Mei's family and ever since then they've been taking care of her. She rarely ever smiles but likes to tick me off for some corn only knows reason." Kiana explained.
"Oh, okay." Star said. "But what is it she is trying to tell me right now then?"
"Oh that? She was introducing herself and wanted to shake your hand." Kiana said.
"Oh, okay then." Star said. "But then how come she used the word "The" before her name?"
"I have stopped trying to figure that out the moment I met her." Kiana said.
Regardless, Star stuck her hand out, which Bronya took. "It's nice to meet you Bronya, I hope we can be friends."
"Okay, great." Kiana said. "So Star, could you maybe introduce us to the three people standing behind you there?"
"Oh right, Kiana, Mei? This Marco, Rita and Hibiki. They're part of the Dayragon clan that left Mewni." Star said as she pushed the three closer to Kiana and Bronya, while Mei came closer herself.
"Hmm…, so what's the name of your family again?" Kiana asked as she looked over Marco and his cousins.
"We're of the Minazuki family of the Dayragon clan." Hibiki said. "Or more specifically, me and the Rita are part of its two branch families, while are cousin Marco is from the main family. And by the look of your cheek marks, can I assume you come from the Kaslana family and the young women behind you hails from your branch family the Raiden family?"
"That's… umm…. How do you know all that?" Kiana asked.
"Even though our families do not live among the others, we are still asked to assist with some missions or tasks when needed." Marco explained.
"Yes; in fact, I believe my parents visited Mewni at one point to discuss something with the head of the Mutsuki and Kaslana families." Rita added as she politely curtsied. "Good evening by the way; my full name is Rita Rossweisse of the Rossweisse family, branch family to the Minazuki family."
"Hibiki Kohaku, member of the Kohaku branch family to the Minazuki." Hibiki said as he bowed, before coming back up and looking to Marco.
"What?" Marco asked as Hibiki continued to look at him before he got what he wanted. "You seriously want me to do that whole introduction thing?"
"Yes, it's the proper way to show respect. Especially to other members of our clan."
"Sigh, fine. Marco Minazuki, member of the Minazuki family and son to Angelica Minazuki former retainer to Queen Moon Butterfly and daughter to the head of my family Meifang Minazuki, my grandmother. Phew… there, happy now?"
"Quite." Hibiki said with a knowing grin on his face.
"O-kay, uh Star?" Kiana said. "You're staying at the house of your mom's former retainer AND your already friends with grandson of the head of the family!?"
"Yeah. I also got to meet her too, she's super nice and really pretty." Star said as Kiana almost fell over from complete shock.
"Again Star, you continue to surprise." Kiana said. She then looked over to Marco. "Kiana Kaslana, nice to meet you Marco." She said smiling and holding her hand out to the young man.
Marco looked at her for a brief second before taking the offered hand and shaking it.
"Likewise." Marco said smiling back.
"Alright, great. Now that everyone's all buddy-buddy and junk can we get this party train going or what?" Pony Head said, not noticing Kiana's obvious annoyance. "Come on B-Fly, the Bonce Lounge is calling girl!"
"Yeah! I'm totally in!" Star said getting excited, before hearing Hibiki clear his throat.
"Again Star, you were told not leave earth unless it was with us to either train or take care of an assignment." Hibiki reminded the mewman princess.
"Oh… right, I uh… forgot about that." Star said remembering that she promised her mother she wouldn't leave earth.
"Hold up Star," Kiana asked, "What's this about you not being allowed to leave earth?"
"Yeah, see the reason I'm here on earth is to practice using my family's magic wand. Marco's mom also said it was okay for me to go along with any training or missions they get, which would allow me to leave earth." Star explained.
"So unless your accompanying them on either one of these tasks…" Mei said.
"Yeah, I'm not allowed to leave earth."
"Oh Girl come on, when has being told we're not supposed do something ever stopped us before?" Pony Head said.
"Pony I… I just don't want to make Marco's mom worry that I'm just going to up and go somewhere without her knowing. She and Marco's grandma are one of the few adults outside of Mewni who are really cool and nice, and I don't want to mess things up with them is all." Star said.
"Alright, alright B-Fly, I feel you girl. Then why not just get moon boy here to… hey now hold up, where'd he go?" Pony head said when she and everyone else except Rita, noticed that Marco was gone.
"Marco made himself scares and went back into the house." Rita said. "He said he was going to take care of something and be back shortly. In fact,"
Before Rita could continue, Marco walked back from inside the house after putting his cellphone away in his pocket.
"Sorry I vanished on you guys like that, just had to make a quick call to my mom about something." Marco said as he rejoined the group. "FYI, I told her we had some guests that came to see Star."
"You rated us out to your mom!" Pony Head said before Kiana promptly shut her mouth.
"Can you shut your trap, horn head and let him finish first?" Kiana said.
"Thank you for that." Marco said. "Now as I was about to say, my mom kind of figured sooner or later some of Star's friends might come by and want to take her to hang out and do some dimension hopping. So Star? My mom said it was okay, so long as you're with either me, Hibiki or Rita. Also she said, if your mom asks, just say you never left earth."
Faster than he could react, Marco soon found himself in a very strong hug from a very happy Butterfly princess.
"Have I ever said that I think your mom is the coolest person I've met, Marco?" Star said as she squeezed the boy tighter in gratitude.
"No… you haven't… yet." Marco said as he tried to get loose.
"Well I'm saying now, she's the third coolest adult I've met in the entire multi-verse!"
"That's great to hear Star. Now could you let me loose before I pass out from lack of air here?"
"Oh, alright." Star said as she finally let Marco go so he could breathe again.
"Did you also happen the mention to your mother about the – " Hibiki said before Marco cut him off.
"Yes and my mom said just make sure things don't get too out of hand is all."
Hibiki sighed and just shrugged his shoulders, already knowing what to expect.
"I can see you still have Lady Angelica's personality, about 25% of it anyway." Hibiki said grinning as Marco rolled his eyes.
"Okay then; if you boys are done talking now," Pony Head said as produced a pair of scissors from out of her mouth, "Let's get this party train to the Bounce Lounge already!" She shouted as she used the scissors to cut open a portal and flew in first.
"Is she going to be like that the entire time tonight?" Hibiki asked.
"Unfortunately, yes." Kiana said sighing.
"Wonderful." Hibiki sighed as he made his way into the portal followed by Kiana.
"Where exactly will we be going first again?" Rita asked. "If I remember right, Miss Pony Head said something about a place called the Bonce Lounge?"
"Yeah. Trust me Rita, I know you'll love that place for sure." Star said as she excitedly grabbed Rita and began pulling her into the portal with her. "Come on! Come on! Let's go already you guys!"
"Okay, okay Star, you don't have to pull me with you." Rita said as she and Star entered the portal together.
"I'm guessing Star and Pony Head go to this Bonce Lounge a lot, huh?" Marco asked Mei.
"Hmm… I believe Pony Head said something about this being either the 50th or 89th time she and Star have go to this dimension I think?" Mei said unsure.
"Correction; Mei, Subject Pony Head said this would be the her and Subject Princess Star's 99th time going to this area." Bronya said.
"Oh right, I guess I couldn't tell from how fast she was talking about before we came here. Thank you Bronya."
"Mmm."
"Okay." Marco said. "Well then… lady's first?" he said as he did a mock bow and gestured for Mei and Bronya to enter the portal which caused Mei to giggle a bit.
"Haha, why thank you very much." Mei said as she entered the portal with Bronya walking in right behind her.
Before entering himself, Marco made sure to lock up the house and leave a note for his father in case his mother forgot to call and let him know he and the others were out.
'But knowing mom, she'll most likely will forget.' He thought entering the portal as it closed behind him.
As Marco exits the portal, he enters what looks to be a nightclub space with a dance floor, seat and tables, a place to get drinks and a large disco ball suspended overhead. Marco also noticed that some of the tables where he could see creatures from various other dimensions sitting at were placed on floating clouds as was the dance floor he was standing on.
"Marco! Over here!"
Marco looked and saw Star running over to him.
"There you are. What took you so long?" she asked.
"Uh, I had to make sure no one got the smart idea to rod the house while we were gone? Unless you want my parents stuff to get taken?" he asked in a very sarcastic voice with a grin on his face as Star jokingly rolled her eyes at him.
"Alright mister smart guy, I get it. Just come on already, we've found a place to sit and Pony Head and Kiana are already tearing up the dance floor." Star said as she pulled Marco over to where the others were at. "Hey guys, I found Marco."
"B-Fly, I still don't get why you needed to go looking for Moon boy here. He looks like he could take care of himself." Pony Head said. "But Whatever, come on let's hit the dance floor like now!" she said flying off.
"Pony Head wait for me!" Star said chasing after her friend while Marco sat down on the beanbag chairs with Hibiki and Bronya.
"So where's everyone else at?" Marco asked the two.
"Ms. Mei and Kiana went to go get some refreshments and Rita went with them." Hibiki said. "So Ms. Bronya and I have been sitting here while Star and Princess Pony Head have been dancing like mad."
"And you didn't feel like cutting a rug?" Marco asked.
"I don't do dancing Marco. Especially, not the kind I've seen so far." Hibiki said as he saw a four-eyed green-skinned tentacle monster dancing as his tentacles accidently knocked over a few other dancers.
"Fine. What about you Bronya? You don't feel like dancing either?" Marco asked the shorter girl.
"The Bronya doesn't understand the propose of moving in illogical patterns unless it's related to a combat situation." Bronya said.
"O-Kay." Marco said.
"So why are you not out there dancing yourself, Marco?" Hibiki asked.
"When was the last time you ever saw me dance Hibiki, huh?"
"Well there was that time back during that 4th of July cookout we went to, when Hiyori asked you to – "
"Stop right there," Marco said cutting Hibiki off, "first off, Hiyori is 7 and my god sister. Second, when she was 5 she had asked me to dance with her when she got a bit taller. So when she showed up at that cookout and came up to ask for a dance, I said yes because I promised her."
"Sigh, alright. I'm just saying is all." Hibiki said smirking as Marco rolled eyes.
Soon Mei, Kiana and Rita came back with a tray of drinks just as Star and Pony head came over.
"From the look of your sweaty faces right now, I'm guessing you two are dancing like crazy out there huh?" Kiana said.
"Heck yeah! We were tearing up that dance floor!" Pony Head shouted. "It's been a long time since me and B-Fly have danced like that."
"Yeah! I can't remember the last time that we danced that much." Star said as she took a seat next to Marco as Mei handed out the drinks to everyone.
As Star, Pony Head, Kiana and Mei were enjoying their drinks, she noticed Marco, Rita, Hibiki and Bronya were eyeing their drinks with a hint of skepticism in their eyes.
"Could someone please explain to me what exactly these… drinks are?" Hibiki asked as he looked at bluish – red liquid that had… something floating in the glass.
"Also these are non – alcoholic drinks, yes?" Rita asked.
"The Bronya can confirm that there is no evidence of alcohol in the odd liquids." Bronya said.
"While that's good to hear and all Bronya," Marco said as he looked at his own drink which he could see change colors, "I'd still like to know what exactly it is I'll be drinking."
"Oh well," Mei said, "Kiana went on ahead of me and Rita and said she had already placed the orders for the drinks by the time we got up there. But to be honest, when I saw the drinks for myself I was a bit… skeptical on what it was that Kiana had ordered."
"Oh that?" Kiana said. "Well for me, Mei, Star, and Loud Mouth here I just got our usual drinks. But I saw that they had a couple of new ones added, so…"
"You basically want us to be guinea pigs here, correct?" Hibiki said. "I must say this is surprising. I would never have dreamed that members of the Kaslana clan were training in assassinations."
"Known Fact: Kiana is too loud and obvious to carry out an assassination mission." Bronya stated.
"First off; Shut it Bronya! If I could I'd be more than able to sneak up on you and you wouldn't even know I was there." Kiana said.
"The Bronya highly doubts that, Kiana would probably trip on something before getting close." Bronya stated, while Kiana gritted her teeth before looking over to Hibiki.
"Now as for you pretty boy, I wasn't getting the new drinks to make you guys guinea pigs. I just thought that maybe you'd like them." Kiana said.
"Oh I'm well aware of that." Hibiki said.
"Wait, what? You were!?" Kiana said in confused shock.
"Yeah, that's the thing with Hibiki over here." Marco said. "You'll think he's talking trash to you, but that's just him showing you his trademark brand of sarcasm."
"With a sword – like tongue to boot as well." Rita added.
"Oh great, as if I don't get enough of that from Bronya already." Kiana said.
"You mean when she says things that are true?" Hibiki asks.
"True enough that they annoy the living crap out of me!"
"It only annoys Kiana because she knows that The Bronya is right." Bronya said as she tries a bit of her drink. "The Bronya believes that Hibiki has a very high caliber of understanding."
"I should say the very same about you, Bronya." Hibiki said.
"Oh goodness, I didn't think this was possible." Rita said.
"What was?" Mei asked.
"That our dear Hibiki would find someone to act as the sheath to the sword that is his tongue." She said in mock joy as Hibiki sighed.
"Alright, alright, that's enough talk about people with sword tongues or whatever." Pony Head said. "So can you three like only use swords and stuff?"
"Uh, no." Marco said. "Our family is capable of using magic like the Butterfly family. Just not on the same level as them."
"To be more specific, our magic is more used in our various combat styles and techniques." Rita explained as she took a tentative sip of her drink.
Star and Pony Head soon spots the Bonce Lounge's photo booth and eagerly ushered everyone over to take a couple pictures.
"Okay; Mei, Kiana, B-Fly, and me will go first." Pony Head said. "Seeing as we're like the seniors of this group and all that."
"Since when?" Kiana asked in a dead pan tone as she entered the booth with the others.
Three camera flashes later and the group come back out as the photos are dispends, which Kiana grab before Pony Head could.
"Wow! I think this picture is even than the first one we all took here." Star said as she looked at the picture of them all smiling and acting silly.
"Only thing still the same is the fact that I'm still taller than you Star." Kiana said jokingly as playfully ruffled Star's hair.
"Alright, now newbies, get your butts in there and take a good picture." Pony Head towards Marco and the others, who had either dead-pan or quizzical looks on their faces.
"The Bronya doesn't seen any logical way to fit in that small place." Bronya said. "Suggest an alternate option."
"Actually Bronya, it's not all that small inside." Mei said. "In fact it's a lot more spacious than how it may look outside."
"Really?" Marco said.
"See for yourselves." Kiana said as she pushed Marco, Hibiki, Rita and Bronya into the booth where they all fell on the ground.
As they all got back up, they were surprised to see that the inside of small photo booth was indeed much bigger like Mei said it was.
"Huh, well would you look at this. It really is bigger than the outside." Marco said as he looked around. "Okay, so... how exactly do you guys want to take this picture?"
"Hmm, I would say we should take a normal group photo," Rita suggested, before they heard both Star and Pony Head's voice from the other side if the curtain.
"You guys can't just a regular old group photo!" Star said.
"Wait, why can't they do that?" Mei asked. "Do they really need take a crazy group picture for their first time?"
"Course they do!" Pony Head said. "That way they can always remember their first time and how cool they looked."
"A goofy group picture is how their going to remember how cool they looked. "Kiana said. "Not the fact that they can literally summon a weapon, that was formed from the fire of their souls and use said weapon to protect people from royalty to commoner?"
"What? Girl, that's not fun. That's their job, a job is not fun." Pony Head said.
"Um Pony Head? I don't think Marco's family gets paid to protect my family." Star pointed out. "Now the other royal families and nobles who request for their I think do pay them, but I'm not all that sure."
"Alright, Alright! Forget about the whole protecting B-Fly's family thing," Pony Head said changing the subject, "just take a cool and crazy group picture. One that you guys can look back on and say "Wow, we looked so cool and we were having crazy fun with cool people."
"Oh boy, okay then." Marco said as he sighed in bewilderment. "So who wants to go where for this thing?"
"The Bronya will take the center spot." Bronya said as she moved to stand in the center.
"Hmm in that case, Marco? You and Hibiki take a seat to left and right of Bronya." Rita directed as she moved behind the shorter girl.
"Hold on, we have to pick a frame style for the photo." Hibiki said. "Any suggestions?"
"Not sure." Marco says, thinking for a bit. "Just pick something that says "fun" I guess?"
"Very well then." Hibiki said, going with a sky blue border that strangely enough pictures of white rabbits wearing armor and holding swords and shields. "Very... odd." He said as he selected the border and went over to sit on Bronya's right, leaving Marco to sit on her left side.
"Okay, now let me just," Rita said as she took off her slip-on shoes and placed them on the ground before taking a seize sitting position in between Marco and Hibiki, "Bronya, can you back up a bit towards me please?"
"Understood." Bronya said, stepping backward until she was closely behind Rita. "Will this be acceptable?"
"Yes, that will do." Rita said as she draped her arms around the shorter girl and placed her head on top of Bronya's.
"Oh, now I see what you were doing." Marco says as he sees a message displaying "Ready?".
After four clicks and flashes, the four come out of the booth to a waiting Star, Kiana, Mei and Pony Head as the pictures develop.
"I can't wait to see what kind of pictures you guys took." Star said excitedly.
"Your making it sound like too big a moment Star, relax." Kiana said, placing her hand on Star's head to keep her from hopping.
They all then heard the sound of the booth dispensing the pictures. As Marco took the pictures from the slot, Pony Head quickly flew by and snatched them from his grasp with her mouth.
"Hey what the!?" Marco said in surprise.
"The Heck is wrong with you!?" Kiana said. "You don't just snatch up someone's pictures like that!"
"Chill y'all, I'm just checking to see if the pictures are good and - "
Before Pony Head could continue, something quickly leaped passed her and swiped the pictures back before landing on the ground.
"Please, ask for something rather than just snatching it? It's very rude to do so."
Pony Head looked down and saw Hibiki looking back at her while holding the pictures before walking back over and rejoining the others.
"Thank you very much." Marco said as Hibiki handed him the pictures back so he could get a proper look at them. "Well, I'd say these came out pretty good."
"My goodness Hibiki, I didn't think you were capable of making such genuinely happy face like this." Rita said looking at the pictures.
"I'll have you know that I am more than able to smile honestly at times." Hibiki said, "Their just not many occasions where your around to witness them. Though I will say Bronya, I wasn't expecting you to actually smile for the picture."
"What!? Bronya ACTUALLY smiled!?" Kiana shouted as she zipped over to look at the picture along with Star and Mei.
To the three's shock(more so Kiana's), they saw that Bronya was indeed smiling while Rita had her arms draped around her. On top of that, Bronya was even doing the peace signs with her hands while also winking.
"What the ... she actually... she can really... WHAT!?" Kiana shouted as her brain was suffering from a massive overload.
"Kiana, please calm down." Mei said. "But I will say this picture you four took is very nice. It's even wonderful that you were able to smile for it Bronya." She added.
"Yeah! You guys really took an awesome picture here." Star said as she looked at the photos herself.
When she looked at the last one on the strip, she noticed that Marco, Rita and Hibiki were all generating a small sphere of magic that took the form of their respective cheek marks.
Marco noticed how Star's eyes were sparkling as she looked at the last picture.
"I'm guessing you want to know how me, Hibiki and Rita are doing that little trick in the photo right Star?" Marco asked to which Star vigorously nodded her head.
"It's not really all that difficult." Rita said, as she opened her palm. "You just gather a small amount of magical energy in your hand, concentrate on how you want to shape it, and... there." She said as the magic in her hand formed into a rose-colored star.
"Oh. Uh... you think I can do that with my wand?" Star asked. "Since I just got the wand, I can't do that whole 'gather magic in my hand' thing yet."
"Plus, Star's not all that good with basic magic." Kiana said which got Star to try and hit her on the arm, which she dodged.
"Hey! I'm not THAT bad with basic magic!" Star said defensively. "There are just ... some... spells that I have trouble with is all."
"You mean like that simple levitation spell your mom tried teaching you?" Kiana said, which earned her a painful pinch on the cheek by Mei.
"Alright, alright. I think we're done here." Pony Head said as she pulled out her dimensional scissors and cut open a portal. "Next stop - " But before she could cut open a portal, Kiana snatched the scissors from her.
"I'm picking the next place. And before you ask me why, it's because we need a bit of action that doesn't involve loud music and strange drinks." Kiana said as she cut open an orange/red portal.
"Does that lead to where I think it leads to?" Marco asked.
"You'll have to follow me to find out." Kiana said as she leaped into the portal.
"I think I see how Kiana and Star became such good friends now." Hibiki said as he walked into the portal with Mei and Bronya following behind him.
"So, what do you think of Pony and the others huh?" Star asked Marco and Rita.
"They're defiantly... interesting Star." Marco said.
"They have the same adventurous spirit as you do." Rita said. "But they each have a unique character which defines them. I'll looking forward to seeing what they can do in terms of combat." Rita said as she entered the portal, leaving Star surprised.
"Wait, how did Rita know that? ... come to think of it, Marco you also knew about the portal color when Kiana opened it. have you already?" Star asked, before Marco ruffled her hair a bit.
"I've been there a couple of times, Star." He spoke. "Now come, before Pony Head asks what's taking us so long."
"Okay, right behind you!" Star said as she followed after Marco into the portal.
