Its a few days before the twins birthday, and Madeline and Riley are making sure that this birthday will be one that they never forget

Riley & Madeline's Birthday at the Zoo

Madeline saved the first caterpillar.

Nicole dropped two coins into two cups of monkeys, Keven and Coco.

Pepito said "For Riley and Madeline's birthday, our father and us would like to take everyone to the zoo!"

All eleven girls said "Hooray the Zoo!"

Miss Clavel smiled and said "The little girls can't go Pepito, but if you like, you both may take Riley and Madeline!"

: now the girls knew what to do while Riley and Madeline's were at the Zoo.

All the girls said "What a wonderful idea Miss Clavel!"

As Riley and Madeline slid down the stairs

Madeline said "Oui, what is going on?"

All the girls said "Oh uh nothing, Happy Birthday Riley and Madeline!"

Dan, Steven and Pepito said "Si, Happy Birthday!"

Madeline said "Merci, I hope this is a birthday I will never forget, we will have a party?"

All the girls said "Oui"

Riley said yes we normally see you all over Paris but the Zoo isn't one of them.?

Steven said well girls come along and let's see how much zoo has changed since me and Pepito were last here.

: then the Monkey slipped out from the cage and that is that all.

: the rascal grabbed Madeline's new parasol.

Steven close the Monkey door

: they chased that bad Monkey all over the zoo past zebras... and bears... and a tan Kangaroo.

Steven said "Maybe we should ask the Zookeeper to help us.

Riley looked over and saw her sister bent over catching her breath and wheezing a little.

Riley said "Madeline what the matter, that was only just a five mile run!"

Madeline said "I am fine now come on, but he is eating lunch! Besides, it is all my fault that the monkey got out, it was because I said it was mine and Riley's birthday"

Riley said "No Maddie it is not your fault" as they duck, the monkey jumped down after him.

Pepito said "Steven, how did a simple Zoo trip turn into chase the monkey?"

Steven said "Beats me, but if It keep Riley and Madeline from asking questions, I am all for it!"

: they chased him past Elephants Hippo... and swan. but before they could catch him, the Monkey was gone.

: When it seem like that Monkey would escape them forever, Madeline knew it was time to be clever.

Madeline said " Pepito, Steven and Riley we will outwit the monkey!"

Steven said "How?"

: she and Riley then brought two big balloons one red and the other Yellows

Riley said "Merci Monsieur Balloon man!"

Steven said "Two balloons, ay ay ay ay ay!"

Madeline said "We need bait. Steven, you and Riley walk ahead. Alright, me and Pepito will be behind you two"

Riley nodded and said "Get it Maddie, come Steven!"

: hoping that the monkey would want it and soon.

Monkey saw two balloons and went after Riley and Steven.

Madeline said "Yes it is working! Come on, we need to make a stop!" as she tied the Red balloon to the door, and knocked "Come, Riley would be so surprised Pepito!"

Pepito said "I hope you are right Madeline"

As they catch up to their older siblings

Zookeep said huh a red Balloon Hmm as he took the big red Balloon inside

Madeline said "Keep going Riley, the monkey is catching up, huh uh oh"

: but much to Riley and Madeline's dismay there was nothing she could do or say as the Monkey grabbed the balloon and ran away.

Steven said "Pepito help me push the door open"

Peptio said "Steven, we are running a little bit late, it's already 1:58 pm!"

Steven said "Shoot, we have to get this monkey back fast"

Riley said "Merci Steven and Pepito!"

Madeline said "Where did the monkey go?"

Riley said "Hmm I don't know"

Pepito closed the cage

Madeline giggled a little

: then the Monkey set all of the animals free.

Madeline said "This is my fault, it's all because of us"

Riley said "Maddie, I never should have gotten mad earlier, I am sorry sis"

Madeline said "It's alright as she hugged her sister.

: and she and Riley had to be home by five minute to three.

Riley said "Well the zookeeper still eating lunch? That's good at least"

Madeline said "Yes but Riley, Steven, and Pepito, we must get all the animals back before the zookeeper finds out, oh what should we do?"

Riley said "We will think of something Maddie I hope, oh no it is already a quarter pass 2, this is the worst birthday of our whole life's!"

: in the old house the little girls took great care of getting everything ready before Riley and Madeline get there.

Miss Clavel said "Oh la la, it is already 10 to 3 ah hurry mes petites, hurry everyone! Riley and Madeline will be here in five minutes!"

Danielle was icing the birthday cake with Madeline and Riley's face on it. She said "Oui, but Madeline's face is hard to do"

: Madeline, Pepito, Stene, and Riley stared to worry, they had to alert Miss Clavel in a hurry.

Pepito said "Madeline, we will never make it back in five minutes!"

Madeline said "Oh Pepito you are right, what can we do?"

Riley said "Regardé, look boys!"

Steven said "Our father!"

Madeline said "Asleep Really?"

"Jividen quick, get Madeline's hat from the elephant's head, and give it back to her"

Madeline then saw the organ grinder and his two monkeys which gave Madeline an idea.

Madeline said "That's it, Kevin and Coco will help us!"

Riley said "I think their father won't mind, Steven bend over and hold still please"

: so Riley wrote to Miss Clavel and said not to worry that everything was quite well.

Madeline said "Good luck!"

; at the old house. Miss Clavel looked up to see that it was already a quarter passed three.

Miss Clavel said "Where oh where can our Riley and Madeline be?

Miss Clavel said Ah that be Riley and Madeline now go hide, and when I open the door, everyone jump up and yell surprise!"

All the girls said "Oui Miss Clavel!"

: then the Monkey arrived.

All the girls shouted "Surprise!"

Which scared the monkey who dropped the note.

: with a note to be read Miss Clavel grab it quickly and found that it said...

We are sorry to keep Lord Cucuface waiting go on and have lunch with him we are very busy at the zoo don't worry Miss Clavel we are safe and sound we will try to be home soon.? love Riley & Madeline"

Miss Clavel "Oh dear what have Madeline and Riley done now?"

All the girls said confused "Very busy at the Zoo?"

Chloe said "What could that mean?"

Miss Clavel said "We will find out, but I am sure it is nothing too bad"

The group then made their way to the zoo. Miss Clavel found the zoo keeper and asked what was going on.

: back at the Zoo things wasn't improving, Riley, steven, Madeline, and Pepito had to get moving.

Zookeeper said "Huh? Oh Miss Clavel what a surprise, don't worry they are safe, I've been keeping an eye on the kids, they are always sweet hearts; Now if you would like to set the party here, you can, they well be busy for awhile anyways"

Miss Clavel said "Merci, that would be great! The teacher then used the phone in the office to call Aunt Kathy. The teacher told the twin's aunt please head back to the House, and call the guests; There has a been a change of plans, and get the presents please, and mes enfants come, we have to get things set up"

After about 30 minutes Kathy arrived with the stuff and the other guests.

All eleven girls said "Oui Miss Clavel"

Zookeeper said "Great, I will just put the juice in the refrigerator to keep it cold then"

Meanwhile the four children were still Chasing the naughty monkey.

Riley said "I don't think this is working"

Elephant splashed water on the two kids

Steven said "Me either"

Madeline said "I know, come on, we would give the animals a good reason to go back in their cages, Madeline then bought a bag of peanuts which the elephant smelled and followed Madeline back into it's cage. Madeline said an elephant favorite food is a peanut!"

Riley said "Madeline come on out of there, I need to close the door. Voila

Pepito said "And gorillas love bananas!"

Steven locked the cage "Done"

Riley said "Together Maddie"

Madeline said "You know it Riley" as they rang the big bells, the birds flew out.

Madeline said "Yes we do, come we have more work to do before the Zookeeper finds out what happened"

: so they found what made each of the animal smile.

Riley said "Fresh leaves are a tasty snack for Rhinos!"

: they get them all back in a very short while.

Madeline closed the door and locked it.

Steven giggled "Regardé the blue balloon, and some gooey candy would make this monkey very happy!"

Madeline gives the pink candy to the monkey as Steven and Riley closed the door.

All 4 kids said whew as they high fived each other.

: as they close the last door and locked the last lock, they hear a bell chime it was five o clock.

Riley said "Oh Steven, I am sure Miss Clavel is wondering where we are at?"

Madeline said "Yes, we will never hear the end of it from Lord Cucuface now"

Pepito heard laughing "Ah

Steven, take a peek and smile!" "Riley, Madeline I am sure Lord Cucuface will understand what happened"

Pepito said "In the meantime, something tells me that Miss Clavel isn't worried, turn around and see for yourself!"

Riley and Madeline looked around "Wait pink ribbons!" The twins then asked out loud, "What's going on?"

Everyone shouted "Surprise!"

: but all Riley and Madeline could do was stare it was a real party with all of their friends aunt along with Emily parent there.

Miss Clavel said "Now make a wish girls!"

Riley said "I wish we could have a party like this year please!"

Madeline said "and I wish we could see more of aunt Kathy too"

: She and Riley blow out the candles and everyone cheered.

Kathy said to herself "They want to see more of me, I can't let that happen I didn't want to be at this party for the brats anyway.

Then the twins opened their presents.

Kathy started panicking as the Twins were opening their presents. She had wrapped random presents in a hurry and she didn't realize that she had wrapped some of the twins late mom's gifts that she had stolen long ago. Kathy sighed in defeat because there was no way she could take back the gifts now. However she quickly thought of a plan.

Riley said "Madeline look makeup!"

Madeline said "Cool, we can dress up anytime we want, oh pretty necklace!"?

Riley said "Cool, let me wear it Madeline!"

Madeline said "No I am wearing it, I saw it first!"

Kathy didn't want to give her nieces a gift anyway but she had to.

Kathy said "Girls please, this necklace isn't until you are both are much older to take turns wearing it! Please hold on to it Miss Clavel

Emily, Helen and Mathew looked at Kathy shocked. The small group was thinking why would Kathy take away the twins birthday presents?

Riley said "Who is this man holding me "It comes out of Mommy" book?"

Kathy said "Girls, this book is for when you are older, Miss Clavel please hold on to this book"

Miss Clavel took the book without a word being said.

Then Mathew, and Helen and Emily came over and gave the twins their present.

Helen said We know we're not your real parents but we think of the both of you like our real daughters.

Mathew nodded and said so our present is the next time we go on a vacation you two are coming with us.

Helen then said yes we care about you two very much. She then gave both twins a huge hug and a kiss on their cheeks.

Madeline and Riley cheered and said "Oh Merci Merci.

Lords cucuface said it depends on how long your vacation is both can't be away from their lessons.

Mathew and Helen nodded.

Mathew said yes we understand and we were thinking of taking them on vacation with us when the summer holiday begins at the end of May.

Lord CuCuFace nodded and said then that is completely fine.

: then they hear the Lion roar, and that's all there is there isn't anymore.
