Battle Training for the Fake Weapon
While Katsuki and his team are having a little one-sided peptalk with each other about what to do against the other team, Izuku and his team are looking over the map they have been given that is the floor plans of the entire building.
"So, this building is five stories and the villain team could be hiding the weapon in any of them. That's gonna be hard almost like looking for a needle in a haystack." Setsuna commented.
"I once played a game like that, but I'm sure this will be on a higher scale. Ribbit." Tsuyu said.
"Not to mention we'll be on a time limit to either find the weapon or capture all the villains which both will be hard to do." Mileena pointed out.
"Izuku darling, what do you think we should do?" Mileena asked sweetly, but Izuku didn't respond.
Izuku is being quiet for the moment as he is thinking about his upcoming battle against Katsuki, the boy who used to be his friend until he got his Quirk and started bullying to get Izuku to quit his dream of becoming a hero and even hurting him to do so. But now things are going to be different.
But that doesn't stop him from feeling nervous too.
"Izuku, are you okay?" Mileena asked.
"You look like you've seen a ghost haunting you for a week." Tsuyu commented.
"I'm fine, it just our opponents are going to be tough like Kacchan with his explosions and Iida with his speed." Izuku stated.
"I noticed how you two were looking at each other so intensely, like you have some sort of history with each other for years." Mileena said.
"You can tell from just how they look at each other?" Setsuna surprised.
"A little something mother helped me and my sisters and Sheeva to notice these sorts of things." Mileena bragged a little.
"Yeah, we have known each other… And Kacchan has been the one bullying me for most of my life ever since he got his Quirk." Izuku mentioned.
"You see, I'm a late-bloomer that I got my Quirk during the sludge villain attack as I'm sure you heard of it. I only had it for almost a year now." Izuku revealed without giving away that he got his powers from a God and All Might.
"Let me guess, Bakugo has been bullying you for years since you were kids and tried to make you quit on going to UA and become a hero like a sorry excuse of a potato." Tsuyu figured that might've been the case.
"I'm not sure about the potato, but yeah, what you said is mostly right." Izuku nodded.
"How dare he harms such a pure heart, I will stab his heart out and eat it right in front of his dead eyes!" Mileena threatened growling and holding her sais.
"I… huh, appreciate that, but we have to remember that we can't be killing our opponents and… I want to be the one to fight Kacchan." Izuku said with slight serious in his eyes.
"Looks like you've been wanting to give the exploding bastard some payback." Setsuna grinned.
"I'll admit, Kacchan always has the bigger ambition with a powerful Quirk, he always said about wanting to become a hero more than anything in the world. Kind of like me." Izuku remembered how Katsuki keeps talking about being a greater hero than All Might.
"Not to mention he's amazing, the best kind of guy I ever gotten to know over the years even when he can be a big pain in the ass." Izuku admitted as he stands up.
"But that just means I have to work harder, do better. I refuse to lose today." Izuku determined as he puts on respirator along with his flames and lightning emitting from his arms.
The three girls felt their hearts strong as they have just skipped a beat or two from hearing such simple words, but they feel powerful upon hearing them and that just makes feel like they want to give this fight everything they have against their opponents.
"Looks like the big rival battle is really important to you." Tsuyu stated.
"Oh, I'm sorry! I didn't mean to say all of that to brag you girls along!" Izuku apologized.
"Are you kidding me? Now I really want to go in there and show those guys what we're made of!" Setsuna excited.
"That goes double for me! I'm not going to let that "Kacchan" creep walk all over you and keep saying that he's better than anyone!" Mileena nodded with a fierce glare.
"Ribbit. We're a team, so that means we have the same goal of helping each other in this fight and reach for the goal together even though we're a bunch of oddballs." Tsuyu stated bluntly.
"So, let us kick some butt and shred the competition with our combine strength!" Mileena determined with a grin under her mask.
Izuku was very surprised to hear that these girls he barely knows and put together with them because of the random draw of the lot are willing going to help him, he felt proud to have made some good new friends and thought these girls are being very cute as with their own aura of confident.
"Okay, let's do this!" Izuku nodded.
Then they heard a very loud alarm sound, but it wasn't loud to hurt their ears or anything.
"All right! Let's begin the indoor combat training! Team A and team D, your time begins now!" All Might announced.
"Okay, we need to do a quick rundown on the enemies' Quirks before we go in." Izuku said.
"Luckily for you, we did a little rollcall to introduce ourselves and talk about our Quirks, so I know what two of my classmates are capable of." Setsuna grinned.
(Monitoring Room)
All Might, Sonya Blade, and Bo' Rai Cho are standing in the monitoring room with the rest of Class 1-A and 1-B students as they watch through the screens on the TV wall.
"Better pay attention, and try to think about what you would do in this kind of situation. That should help you prepare for your own matches." Sonya advised.
"(Young Midoriya, in this class, you're just another student. I'll grade you as I would anyone else without playing favorites.)" All Might thought reminded himself.
"Everything okay with you, All Might?" Bo asked.
"Not to worry, just a bit nervous on my first day of teaching." All Might assured that everything is fine.
"(Odd how, I am sensing something… off coming from All Might's soul. I also sensed this from Izuku too.)" Grey thought noticed.
(With Team A)
Izuku's team move carefully on the side of the building until he looks up seeing the window on the second floor being open, he pointed at the window for the girls to see.
Mileena uses her Pink Instant to appear onto the edge of the roof while Tsuyu and Setsuna used their own way to get up there with the former splitting herself into pieces and fly, then Izuku uses the fire of his Quirk to fly himself up and through the window doing a quiet landing.
"So far, so good." Setsuna whispered.
"Just remember the plan. Ribbit." Tsuyu reminded.
"That Quirk of yours sure is something, it was like you were sliced by the wind but you're fine." Mileena commented.
"Thanks, this Quirk is handy when it comes to fight off numbers or for a quick escape." Setsuna smirked.
Setsuna Tokage, her Quirk: Lizard Tail Splitter. She can split herself into dozens of pieces and levitates them in the air, but she can only split herself in a limit number. She can even regenerate the pieces that no longer works because of a time limit.
Izuku and the girls starts sneaking around in a few hallways while the supposed leader does some thinking.
"(Okay, thanks to the combined training of Lord Liu Kang and All Might, I managed to get at least 10% control of One for All along with using the dual power of fire and lightning for any situations like long-range.)" Izuku thought remembered the practical exam and the Zero point robot.
"No signs of the enemies from either way." Tsuyu reported while sticking onto the wall and one had on the ceiling.
"Then how about we to right? That should get us closer to the staircase." Mileena suggested and everyone agrees.
"(Combine with my Quirks, Tsuyu's Frog Quirk, Setsuna's Lizard Tail Splitter, and Mileena's Pink Instant, we might be able to win this match with some fast movements and long-range.)" Izuku thought believed.
Team A carefully make their way through another path of the hallway with everything being so quiet right now, but that kind of quiet is what makes them feel tense and keeping their guards up.
"(I also can't forget that I gotta use my head too. I took a lot of notes on indoor battles and fighting in tight spaces.)" Izuku thought recalled those research notes.
"(I can do this!)" Izuku thought determined.
"INCOMING?!" Tsuyu shouted as she jumps off the wall.
Suddenly Katsuki appeared in front of the group much to their surprise and he threw a strong right hook with a big explosion, but they were able to get away with Izuku saving Tsuyu at the last second along with shielding them with his fire.
"Holy shit, he just came out of nowhere!" Setsuna shocked.
"Tsuyu, are you okay?" Izuku asked.
"I'm okay, but one of the ear thing of your mask is burned off." Tsuyu informed looking up at his head.
"As long as you're okay, that's fine." Izuku said.
"What's the matter, Deku? Too scared to fight me?" Katsuki asked mockingly with a big hole in the wall made by his explosion.
"(Damn, if he had hit us with that blast then I'd be having burn marks.)" Setsuna thought shocked.
"It looks like he came alone just like you predicted." Mileena said.
"Yeah, he would be coming for me and try to attack me by surprise too." Izuku said knowing what to expect of his former friend.
(Monitoring Room)
"He almost got the jump on them!" Minoru shocked.
"Hey man, that was a cheap crap he just pulled!" Tetsutetsu Tetsutetsu called out.
"Yeah, what kind of a man does that?" Eijiro asked, also upset with Katsuki's choice of a sneak attack.
"Calm yourself, you two. That just how villains do when they want to get the jump on you, and surprisingly of how well this Katsuki kid is playing the villain." Sonya pointed out.
"But it didn't work, Midoriya's team dodge him!" Mina smiled exciting.
"Yeah, but they're gonna have to be careful since they're fighting in tight space right now." Jurota stated.
"They're gonna have to be quick about it too." Kabal added.
"Look, he goes!" Denki said seeing Katsuki charging at Izuku again.
(Back with Izuku's Team vs Katsuki)
"Girls, stay behind me!" Izuku ordered.
"I won't hurt you so bad that they'll have to stop the fight. Just close!" Katsuki stated that he wants to give a bloody beating to the weak Deku.
However, in that moment when Katsuki reel his right arm back to throw another exploding punch, Izuku zaps in front of him doing a karate chop on the middle of the behind then grabbing the grenade gauntlet with his hand and the forearm with his other hand as he turns around.
"Whoa, badass!" Setsuna amazed.
"(Shit! I didn't think he get this good after only getting his Quirk recently!)" Katsuki thought shocked as he is being lifted off the ground.
Using about 5% of One for All, Izuku performs a strong shoulder throw to slam Katsuki right onto the floor, but Izuku made an instant move to let go of the arm and threw an electric punch right on the head slamming him down and causing cracks making Katsuki gasp in serious pain.
Everyone is surprise of how well Izuku was able to move like that when he already had Bakugo in the middle of that shoulder throw attack.
"You always use a big right hook to start a fight." Izuku said as Katsuki slowly gets back up.
"I know because I've watch you for years. I analyzed every amazing hero, even you. I wanted to learn everything I could about them. It was all in the notebook you burned and threw away." Izuku explained as he glares at Katsuki.
Katsuki looks up seeing that fierce glare as he returns with his own glare, but he can that Deku's stare feels stronger than his own.
"Listen well, Kacchan, the helpless little Deku you knew is no more. I've grown strong from the kid you picked on." Izuku stated.
"From this day forward, now and forever. Deku is the name of a hero!" Izuku shouted with his flames and lighting bursting around him.
"Is it just me or did Izuku just became cooler than before?" Mileena smiled under her mask.
"No, I'm feeling it too." Tsuyu nodded.
"Hot damn, so glad I got be a team with him." Setsuna impressed with how well this guy is making a name of himself.
Katsuki stands back up feeling a tiny bit of blood coming down on his face and looks at Deku.
"Deku…" Katsuki muttered the nickname.
(Flashback)
Little Izuku is defending another kid behind him, but he is also shaking in fear while trying to stand up to Katsuki.
"If you keep on hurting him, then I'll stop you myself!" Little Izuku said.
(Flashback End)
"You used to be so scared of me that you would shake in your boots, but you're not doing that anymore." Katsuki glared at the now brave and determined strong Deku.
"But even if you were still scared, you still want to fight me no matter how scared you were. That's why I hate you!" Katsuki yelled in anger.
"Hey, I think this is the part where we should be going to find the bomb." Setsuna whispered to the girls.
(With Tenya and Neito)
"Bakugo, come in! Give me a statue report. Where are you?" Tenya asked through the ear-comm.
"Just shut up and defend the weapon with your life. I've got more important things to worry about." Katsuki responded.
"Are you forgetting what our mission is?" Tenya asked, but no response this time.
"Hello? He hung up on me!" Tenya shocked.
"I told you he wouldn't do small talks. From the way he stormed off, he wouldn't want to be talking with any of us right now." Neito shrugged.
"Damn it, we're supposed to be a team!" Tenya yelled.
"Don't worry, we sent Yui down to keep an eye on him and assist from the sideline like if our opponents decided to split up." Neito grinned.
(Monitoring Room)
"Hey, who's Bakugo talking to? I'm not hearing anything." Eijiro asked.
"I think it's because they're wearing communication in their ears." Erron guessed.
"You are right, Young Black. He's got a radio in his ear so he can talk to his teammates. I gave it to him before the match started along with a map of the building." All Might revealed.
"We also gave both teams a roll of capture tape, trap your opponents in them and they're out for the rest of the game." Sonya explained showing them the tape.
"A 15-minute time limit, the good guys don't know what floor weapon is on. This sure is difficult for the hero team being put in a disadvantage like that." Himiko pointed out.
"But that just shows that even real Pros are face with that problem." Jacqui said.
"Oh yes, all the heroes have to face this kind of problem when life is unfair to them, but that never stop them from saving the day." Bo chuckled.
"He's right, we heroes still fight despite the odds." All Might nodded making the students smile.
"All together now… Let's hear a Plus Ultra!" All Might cheered with everyone, even Sonya raised her fist in the air.
"Monsieur, he's on the move." Yuga alerted as the fight goes on again.
(Izuku vs Katsuki)
Katsuki charges at Izuku with his exploding speed boost as Izuku quickly move at the same time clashing his leg against his.
"Girls, go now!" Izuku shouted.
"On it!" Mileena said before the girls leave to find the weapon.
"Just you and me, Kacchan!" Izuku glared.
"That's fine with me, Deku!" Katsuki growled.

The battle between Izuku and Katsuki now explodes in quite the literal sense as these rivals will duke it out while the girls go try finding the weapon, but the exploding teen is going to be quite the surprise of how this battle will end.
