Chapter Thirteen:
TV Time With Mr. Puzzles
SMG4 and Mario bolted into the living room, close to the spot where they met their guests, and the duo was eager to catch some TV. No sooner than they'd arrived, a tall, lanky individual wearing a suit and bowtie with a TV for a head sporting a bowler hat made his appearance. It was none other than SMG4's "good friend", Mr. Puzzles, who was quite an entertainer.
A magical tune geared up, and the TV-headed fellow began to sing with glee in rhythm with the music:
"TV Time.
"It's TV Time with your friend, Mr. Puzzles.
"TV Time.
"Take a break from your troubles.
"TV Time.
"Forget about your ongoing worries.
"TV Time.
"Put your troubled mind at ease..."
Mario and SMG4 eagerly sat down as Mr. Puzzles placed his head on the ground, and treated it like a normal TV.
"TV Time.
"Let's sit down crisscross applesauce.
"We'll go flipping through the channels and see what we come across."
Mr. Puzzles flipped through the channels, looking for a show that Mario and SMG4 would enjoy watching. Just then, during one channel flip, a peculiar image came up, showing an orange-haired girl with a beanie, a bearded man with purple-black overalls, and a blue-haired female with a cybernetic arm in a dark place, screaming with dread.
SMG4 and Mario looked at the picture, caught off guard, and their eagerness was replaced by surprise, followed by dread. They knew those three, and something wasn't right. The duo stared into the screen, staring at the troubled individuals, with worry...
...until a hand smacked the TV, and the picture changed, showing a colorful background with those three individuals dancing. Mr. Puzzles, who'd changed the channel, chuckled in a somewhat baffled manner.
"Whoops, that was a TV show meant for grownups. Don't need to see that. My sincerest apologies" The optimistic TV-headed entity remarked, "Here's the entire Bee Movie with bonus features."
"YAHOO!" Mario hollered.
"Alright! Bee Movie!" SMG4 cried with glee, and Mr. Puzzles began playing the beloved film.
-One hour and thirty minutes later-
(and after seeing lots of bonus features)
SMG4 grinned and gave Mr. Puzzles a happy thumbs up. "Thanks, Mr. Puzzles." He quipped optimistically, "I really needed to watch The Bee Movie with all of that bonus material."
"Indeed." Mr. Puzzles smiled, "And, as a reward for watching the movie with bonus features, you get..."
The TV-headed being snapped his fingers, and a pipe bomb made an appearance on the sofa close by. Mario hopped up and grabbed it with his mouth, all without causing the bomb to explode. SMG4 stood up with glee, and waved happily to his and Mario's special friend, "Thanks, Mr. Puzzles. See you again soon!"
Mr. Puzzles waved back as SMG4 and his dog departed the living room. As soon as they left, the somewhat robotic TV-headed host flashed an eerie smile upon his screen for a face. 'Now to see how the rest of the show plays out, that certainly was a close call there with Meggy, SMG3 and Tari popping up.' He thought, 'Back to the viewing station.'
