Chapter Fourteen:
Green Pipes and War Paintings
SMG4 and Mario hadn't forgotten about the missing spaghetti mystery while they were watching The Bee Movie and the bonus features. Neither did the kids visiting and partaking in Mario's Mysteries. Everyone went to the bathroom in their search for the next clue, and both host and dog were greeted by a green-colored aquatic creature sitting on a toilet.
No, he wasn't in the middle of any business, he was just sitting there and bopping around a bit. The camera was on this fellow, and SMG4 said to the kids, "Look it's our pal, Boopkins. I think he's going to sing about toilets."
Music started up, somewhere, and Boopkins dove into the toilet bowl, which was completely clean and full of clear water. Quit assuming it had just been used, and don't expect anything gross. Our fishy friend popped up, almost giving one Skibidi Toilet vibes, whatever the heck that is supposed to be, and began singing the Toilet Song with Mario dancing to it;
"I love the toilet, and I don't feel like doing any business in it.
"Look at the toilet bowl, it's so clean, it matches the color of a toilet paper roll.
"There's so much water in the toilet, and it feels so warm. Oh, I love this toilet.
"It's so clean when it's not used for business, I wanna play with it without making a mess.
"Toilets are so wonderful, who can never love a toilet..."
SMG4 watched on, feeling a little uncomfortable by what he was hearing and seeing, and he was so discomforted, his face looked as if he'd slapped on an odd uncanny mask to hide the pain he was feeling. Boopkins continued to sing, and Mario kept dancing with his tunes, until the pipe bomb Mr. Puzzles gave the dog and SMG4 dropped to the floor next to the toilet.
Boopkins stopped singing, and the pipe bomb activated. The green fish was surprised, and SMG4 backed up. Mario flashed a giddy look, and remarked in a squeaky voice, "It's a pipe bomb!"
The dog cheered, then he dove for cover, and an explosion covered the bathroom. In the seconds before the pipe bomb went off, Boopkins scrambled off the toilet, and made a break for the other bathroom.
When the dust was settling, Mario and SMG4 took a peak back inside the ruined bathroom, and, where the toilet sat, a green pipe could be seen in the ruins. SMG4's face brightened up, and he looked at the camera.
"Our next clue!" He exclaimed, "It's time to put it down in our handy-dandy..."
"Smartphone!" The audience replied, completing the sentence for him.
Complimenting the kids, SMG4 pulled out his phone, again, and drew the image of a green pipe. Seconds later, a glow caught his and Mario's eye, and they looked at the wreck where the toilet had been. And right there, just next to the green pipe, was the second Mystery Meatball.
"There it is, the second meatball!" SMG4 said ecstatically as he obtained it, "We just have one more left, then we'll solve this mystery."
Somewhere else, while Mario and SMG4 were finding the next clue in the bathroom, Mr. Puzzles sat in a chair in a dark room, observing their activities on a monitor amongst a sea of other monitors, tapping his fingers together while he laughed in a sinister fashion.
A couple of them showed moments that had already happened, such as the duo finding their first meatball or them watching The Bee Movie on Mr. Puzzles' TV head.
'Oh, you will solve the mystery.' Mr. Puzzles thought, his screen face flashed an ominous smile, 'Then we'll check the reviews, and it will be time for the next show, which will be very different. Heh, heh, heh. I can see the kids giving this one five stars. Oh, Mr. Puzzles, you are a genius for making Mario and SMG4 the stars of this special Blues' Clues parody.'
Back inside the house, an odd smell was filling the nostrils of SMG4 and his dog. Heck, the kids were picking up on it too. The group investigated, following the scent of smoke filling their noses, which led to a painting with an odd red stain that lay on part of a picture frame.
The painting depicted a war scene of sorts, and the reason SMG4 had a war painting in his house was something that didn't need to be explained, but rumor had it that war fascinated him.
"Spaghetti sauce." SMG4 deduced, "That could be our next clue..." And that was when he gave into the urge to jump into the painting, which was somehow magic. "Mario Skadoo, we can too!"
Before anyone said a word, the blue-white overall-clad host jumped towards the wall, and vanished into the painting. Mario jumped towards the picture to follow him, only to wind up hitting the wall. He shook it off, then the little dog made another attempt, and managed to get into the painting this time. As Mario went through, the camera and the kids followed...
