The White Queen's or The White Castle, within Marmoreal, Underland, a few hours later:
Before we can get to the characters, let me first describe this glorious place as such, shall we?
The White Queen's castle is a gigantic building that stands in the Marmoreal region of Underland. Its architecture is inspired by the pieces and board of a chess game and it seems to be entirely built of marble. It has a predominantly white color, which matches its ruler's name and appearance. In its interior, a throne room and a kitchen can be found, and on its exterior, a large garden and a balcony with a view of tall waterfalls (which everyone, is all based on the movie once again).
Anyways, let's continue.
After nearly a few hours with Morgana still hanging in there as The Bandersnatch somewhat added them by the use of her saliva, Bayard leads Alice and The Bandersnatch toward the castle itself and the drawbridge lowers for them.
Yidhian was awaiting them with Dani by her side, and her face went from joyful to worry as she took Morgana out of Koneko's hold as they were guided by a few knights that resemble white chess sets in armor, to the throne room.
Mirana was currently sitting on her throne as she recently dismissed her advisers of politics once again before she took notice as her White Knights stood in a prominent position, of Alice entering while carrying the Vorpal Sword… But she grew concerned over the child that the genie she quickly befriended, carried her and looked sickly and unresponsive.
"Welcome to Marmoreal." Mirana decides to state, despite witnessing things as Alice bows and offers her the Vorpal sword and The White Queen nods her thanks before she wordlessly places the Sword in the hand of the standing suit of silver armor that Alice barely recalled but Yidhian did from the scroll itself, "The Vorpal Sword is home again. The armor is complete. Now, all we need is a champion." She looks at Alice significantly. Alice, although, drops her eyes while holding a small smile by the White Queen's next set of words to her as she was gazing upwards, "You're a little taller than I thought you'd be."
"Blame it on too much Upelkuchen." Alice tells her to get Mirana to simply nod before gesturing to not only hear but to Yidhian and the other two girls as Morgana twitched again and looked to be sweating more, "Come with me."
As they soon enter the kitchen, a pepper mill flies across the room and hits the wall behind them as Alice asks the White Queen in small amusement, "Is the March Hare around?" The answer went unheard as she saw him and stated in indignity or in a way, that he was disappointed in her by his antics, "You're late for soup!" Indeed he picks up a whole pot of soup and throws it before it hits the wall.
Alice, seeing how clean the walls are, takes a finger to the wall for a taste. "Could use salt-" a salt shaker comes flying at her and she catches it to both half-amuse the others and impress Yidhian and Koneko at her flexibility as she 'Salts' the wall and tasting it again and kisses her fingers in a gesture of perfection to make the Hare grin as he prepares another pot, but with the right amount of salt next.
The White Queen eventually prepares not only Pishalver in a pot on the stove, taking ingredients from a cupboard filled with an admixture of herbs, spices, flour, sugar, insects, shriveled fingers, eyeballs, and other odious things, but another smaller pot to which she added glowing fiery feathers and whatnot into it, alongside some spare soup to give it a bit of flavor. "Pishalver. Let me think. Two cups grape juice, a pinch of wormfat…" seeing the looks on the girl's faces as she was multitasking by adding some of the same ingredients into the smaller pot, but less, "My mother taught me how to concoct all the medicinal cures and transformational potions, teaspoon vanilla… The urine of the horsefly, buttered fingers…" Mirana hesitated before adding garden snake scales into the smaller pot and a few pinches of sugar as she continued, "My sister preferred to study Dominion Over Living Things. Tell me, how does she seem to you?"
"Perfectly horrid." Alice admits to making the White Queen nod once in wordless response as she was stirring both pots with two ivory wooden spoons and replies in admittance back, "She wasn't always that way. Well, maybe she was. And her head?"
"Bulbous, bloated, like a blimp-" Alice began to tell her before they turned to Koneko as she responded with a snort in agreement while returning her gaze to her Mate within Yidhian's eased yet strong hold, as Dani managed to get the rest of the unusual ingredients for the White Queen then.
"I think she may have some kind of growth in there… Something pressing on her brain… Three coins from a dead man's pocket, two tablespoons of Wishful Thinking…" Mirana decided to tell mostly Alice yet let the others know as such while, at the same time, trying to focus on her task, "You can't imagine the things that go on in that place." Alice tells her with a small shiver she took notice. "Oh yes, I can. But when a champion steps forth to slay the Jabberwocky, the people will rise against her." The White Queen states as if from personal experience.
Soon she spits into the larger pot while adding a final ingredient into the smaller one, a fruit of sorts before telling them with certainty, "That should do it." She dips a tiny spoon into the larger pot and offers it to Alice. "Blow." Alice blows, takes a sip and sure enough, shrinks to her normal size while clutching her now large red dress somewhat partially to cover herself. "Feel better?" Alice nodded with a gentle smile in relief, "Much. Thank you."
Mirana then turned to the smaller pot and seeing it was done, made a motion to which Yidhian held Morgana down to perplex Alice and Dani, with Koneko opening the child's mouth which she realized her under jaw is just like a snake only slightly to force-open the mouth and poured the entire contents into her.
Koneko then helped Yidhian hold Morgana down as Mirana did a motion to the two girls as if she experienced this before, to step back, which they did as the child twitched and spasmed before an unexpected aura blasted from her body and sent throughout the castle itself before seeing she regained her healthy look, and was then peacefully passed out.
Mirana looked relieved while telling them to relieve them as well, "She was suffering from transference issues from the venom you obtained, Alice. But my solution rectified it but at a price of making her blood needing to be filtered now to transfer any blood for saving lives, or other, as it would be venomous to the point it would melt away anything but skin."
They were confused with only Yidhian and Koneko knowing better by Dani's stated question to them, "So, she has acidic blood like a Xenomorph now?"
"If you mean if her blood will melt everything but the skin of anything, then yes, and if transferred would cause random illnesses to others." Mirana clarified to the child before having a look of remembrance and turned to Alice as she told her then, to puzzle her by, "There's someone here who would like to speak with you."
Within the Red Queen's Castle Dungeon at this point and time of being night, everyone, a female bloodhound paces in worry with her pups within the same cell shivering in a corner as a few feet down from it, was the Hatter. The Hatter was presently slumped on the floor, staring off into space, Mallymkun being in a large bird cage hung from the ceiling.
Stayne arrives with his Red Knights. "Hatter!" He got no response as a Red Knight prods him with his truncheon before telling his superior, "He's 'round the bend."
"Pity. It's a bore to behead a madman. No weeping, no begging…" The Knave of Hearts tells mostly himself aloud before turning to the female bloodhound as she demands in exhaustion, "Why are you keeping us here? We've done nothing wrong!"
"Blame your husband. He left you here to rot." He tells the female dog to make her shout in an angry statement back, "You lie!" She leaps at the bars, snarling, and making him jump back. The Hatter instantly has his arm around Stayne's neck, squeezing as his men try to break the Hatter's grip, but the madness is in his eyes and he feels no pain.
Finally, the Knights free Stayne. He staggers back, gasping. "Your head comes off at dawn! And that one too!" He points to the Dormouse to worry the madman before The Hatter turns conciliatory. "Oh, come come. It's such a small, insignificant little head. Hardly seems worth the effort. Why don't you let her go? I'll give you an entertaining execution. I'll beg. I'll grovel. Weep, etcetera-" but Mallymkun Isn't about to be saved by her sudden actions, then, "Down with Bloody Big Head!" She throws her hatpin sword at the Knave as it sticks into his shoulder. Stayne gasps and pulls it out then forces a smile. "Have a pleasant night."
Back at the White Queen's Castle, or more importantly her garden at this time, Alice sees a tell-tale plume of smoke coming from a topiary mushroom with Morgana.
The child made a swift recovery while astonishing them as rather than what Mirana believed as she accidentally nicked herself with a knife, they saw her skin not only heal up but the blood was solidified like pudding before hardening up into a crimson jewel to which it was seized by the White Queen to further study what it was, and Yidhian was showing both Dani and Koneko around the castle.
Morgana wore her clothing, but Alice wore a white formal tomboy's version for a girl outfit that was fancy and made of white silk, and with some type of material she didn't know about (best as I can do as it's that one outfit).
"Absolem?" Alice inquired to which they did recognize the caterpillar as he decided to implore in return primarily to Alice then, "Who are you?"
"I thought we'd settled this. I'm Alice… But not that one." She clarified to him as he took a small puff from the device he saved before telling her then in a way he was being cryptic that Morgana noticed, "How do you know?" He blows smoke in her face and makes them both cough while Alice waves her away, "Not Hardly Alice. But you're much more her now. You're Almost Alice."
"Even so, I couldn't slay the Jabberwocky if my life depended on it." Alice then notified Absolem to which he disagreed but recollected his vision as he informed her sternly to make Morgana glance at him for, "It might as well. So I suggest you keep the Vorpal Sword on hand when the Frabjous Day arrives."
She then abruptly pokes him with her finger to make Morgana giggle, "No touching! There's no touching!" Alice though disagrees with him as she informed him in a way this began to amuse him, "You seem so real. Sometimes, I forget that this is all a realistic dream and times not." He blows smoke at her this time to make Morgana giggle at his actions. "Stop doing that!" Absolem then chuckles and his entire body jiggles like green jelly. He keeps chuckling as he obliterates himself from view.
"He seems like a strange caterpillar to me Alice." Morgana tells Alice wordlessly agreeing with the child as they walk side-by-side, Alice was soon rather confused then by Morgana's next set of words to her and gently grabbed along with holding her left hand, "Would what we saw happen on that day? Alice? For some reason… I feel like it would be bad."
Alice stopped and made Morgana look at her and saw how uncertain the child was as privately not too long ago, she eventually asked about Morgana to her genie and the Nekotama, and let's say she wasn't too thrilled as to how the child's life previously was and leave it at that time, with hints of half-relief if the current. "No matter what happens on that day, nothing is going to happen that's worse than ever before this land has."
Morgana smiles slightly at her friend before they headed back to the castle while not noticing that a few of those particular creatures Stayne summoned, left swiftly to report things on the target.
Back within the Red Queen's Dungeons, The Hatter cleans his hat and tries to get his "Sad" clothes to perk up while Mally paces within her cage and the female bloodhound huddled up with her pups to keep them warm.
The Cheshire Cat then appears outside the bars. "I've always admired that hat." Tarrant, feeling sad as his mind was jumbled mixed with worries of what is to come and more, expressed softly to his comrade, "Hello, Chess."
"Since you won't be needing it anymore, would you consider bequeathing it to me?" The Hatter stared at him before noting, "It's a formal execution. I want to look my best."
This made the Cheshire Cat partially pout at this before he informed him then, "It's a pity about all this. I was looking forward to seeing you Futterwacken." Tarrant agreed with him on that, "I was rather good at it." The Cat re-materializes in the cell with the Hatter. "I do love that hat. I would wear it to all the finest occasions."
At this, the Hatter himself soon got an idea that Cheshire was grinning wider in wordless agreement.
It was dawn within the Red Queen's Courtyard as her current servants were at the site to witness the execution as ordered to take place.
The Hatter and the Dormouse soon walk toward the executioner with their heads down as the Tweedle Brothers and the White Rabbit blend in with the crowd.
The Queen and Stayne watch from two randomized balconies and with them gazing presently over the beheading platform, and that is where The Hatter and Dormouse stand with him stepping forward, pushing Dormouse behind him.
The Executioner soon attempts to take off his hat before he hesitated and reluctantly does so with Tarrant mumbling to him. "I want to keep it on." At this, the executioner shrugged before telling him in sad honesty, "Suit yourself. As long as I can get at your neck." The Hatter places his neck on the beheading stone.
Mally then confides Hatter then as he remains not moving, "I'll be right behind you." The White Rabbit although, covers his eyes. "I can't watch."
The Executioner raises his heart-bladed ax as all is quiet as the sword comes down... But the accused's body disappears as the hat itself was floating aimlessly
The Queen and Stayne gasp with the beheading sword hitting the stone, jarring the executioner in fright as the Tweedles stare on in disbelief. "It's gone." Tweedledee tells his brother as The Rabbit still hasn't looked and merely tells them, "He was such a fine fellow." Tweedledum, however, nudged him as The Rabbit looked up to see the floating hat with nobody attached.
Soon, the Cheshire Cat's disembodied head wearing the Hat floats upright and hovers in the air. "Good morning, everyone." He grins at the gasping crowd. "Chess, you dog!" Mally states in relieved glee as he winks at her.
The Hatter appears from behind the Red Queen's chair as she gasps in surprise and turns to him. "Madam, you are being heinously bamboozled by these lickspittle toadies you surround yourselves with!" Stayne then runs towards Hatter. Tarrant tugs on Lady Long Ear's ear as it comes off in his hand and falls to the ground as we hear his tell-tale laugh. The Hatter holds the long dangling ear up. "What is that?" She accused the female.
"I'm not the only one, Majesty. Look!" Long Ears grabs Big Nose Woman's nose and pulls as it comes off revealing her real nose beneath. "A counterfeit nose! You should be ashamed!" The woman accused stated to him then, "Me? What about that big belly you're so proud of?" Big Belly Man gasps as his slimmer belly is revealed with Big Chin Man's large chin falling off before he pulls off Big Boob Woman's fake boobs- "Liars! Cheats! Falsifiers! Off with their heads!" Iracebeth declares in rage at being made a fool of by her immediately ex-advisers.
The Hatter wielded the nearby pole attached to the balcony itself for the execution and landed perfectly onto the beheading area before declaring loudly to the crowd, "To the abused and enslaved of the Red Queen's Court. All of you, stand up and fight! Rise against the bloody Red Queen! Downal wyth Bluddy Behg Hid!"
A frog holding a tray of tarts tosses them into the air. Other animals throw off their bonds and take up the slogan. Various animals then stated aloud alongside most of the servants, "Downal wyth Bluddy Behg Hid!"
"Release the JUBJUB BIRD!" Iracebeth shouts in order as there's a bloodcurdling screech as the JubJub Bird swoops down. He strafes the panicked onlookers indiscriminately as the Queen watches with a vengeful smile as Stayne comes to her side then, "You're right, Stayne. It is far better to be feared than loved. Prepare the Jabberwocky for battle in due course… We're going to visit my little sister."
Below the chaos Iracebeth made, The Hatter, the Dormouse, the White Rabbit, and Tweedles gather to escape and when they got to the gate, they were perplexed by the odd rainbow vortex showing up but taking a leap of faith, left into it alongside Chessur himself as they would have been captured if it didn't materialize as it also sucked two familier guards that were in charge of Morgana's guest chambers into it as well since it also secretly appeared within all the jail cells and sucked up all the innocent prisoners into it.
It was night once again as we take our gaze back to the White Castle as Alice was taught in record time to use the way of swords by not only a fellow knight of the White Queen's Court, but what lessons Morgana had as she needed to practice as well, and both her and Dani were being watched over by Koneko as they rest from the earlier assault of an unknown enemy trying to take her and Dani.
Yidhian, however, was overseeing a message from someone to meet her at a specific place within Underland, as it was knowledge of things to come.
So at this point upon the castle's parapet, The White Queen, Alice and Bayard stand on the castle walls and overlook the view.
"I had hoped to have a champion by now." Miranda tells mostly to herself while looking at the young woman next to her as she was laying on the area itself and glanced at her in a question then, "Why don't you slay the Jabberwocky yourself? You must have the power."
She was taken aback as the White Queen told her in demonstration of a white orb showing in the palm of her hand and dismissed it, "In the Healing Arts. It is against my vows to bring harm to any living thing." She glances down to see an ugly bug near her shoe to make her shudder and confidentially squash it. Then, she lifts the spyglass and glimpses something in the distance. "We have company."
She gives the spyglass to Alice as from her POV on the bluffs, The Hatter, the Dormouse, the White Rabbit, and Tweedles appear over the rise as Alice hands the spyglass to Bayard. "Bayard. Have a look." He looks through to see his wife and pups run with the others with some being handcuffed by two Red Knights he recognized too well while at the same time, he's overwhelmed. "Bielle."
It was after they came down that the group entered the castle courtyard with the sakura blossom trees it has, gently swaying with the gentle wind. Bayard, Bielle, and their pups leap whine, and nuzzle each other joyfully.
Alice runs to greet the Hatter as his clothes are "Bright" and happy- He was startled as Alice kissed him on the cheek before saying to him then, "I'm so happy to see you! I thought they were going to…" here he stopped her with him being both manic/enthusiastic in emotions, "So did I. But they didn't. Here I am… Still in one piece… And I'm rather glad about that now that I'm seeing you again… I would have regretted not seeing you again… Especially now that you're the proper size… It's a good size… Just right, in fact… A right proper Alice size-" "Hatter." He jerks and comes back to himself. "I'm fine."
"Where's your hat?" Alice noticed and decided to raise a question to have Tarrant look around until The Hat materializes in the air worn by the Cheshire Cat.
"Chessur?" Alice states in surprise as he tells her then to get Hatter a double-take and glance at said limb, discreetly, in small concern, "How's the arm, Luv?" Alice then tells the Cheshire Cat then with a small amused smile, "All healed."
Seeing the child not with them and how late it was as strangely enough, the group was transported to an old town left abandoned by the Red Queen's actions and had to walk their way here, The Hatter holds out his hand for the Hat as Chess returns it reluctantly. "Goodbye, sweet Hat." He then evaporated away to have The Hatter amuse Alice which the White Queen saw with a knowing smile, was protective of as sooner than later, as they were at the parapet once more, The Hatter sits with Alice on top of a high tower. "You do know what the next few days are." He tells her to get Alice from staring at the stars to turn to him, and she sighed while realizing what he meant, "The Frabjous day. How could I forget? Oh, I wish I'd wake up!"
He stared at her then before he decided to question her as she gazed back at the sky, "You still think this is a dream?"
"Well, it can't possibly be real. This has all come from my mind." Here she paused before discreetly perking up Tarrant by her next set of words, "Well, partially as I realize Mary is real alongside the three other girls, and I have felt pain and smelled and breathed actual smoke from Absolem… I'm just not entirely sure Hatter."
Tarrant amused by her words, surprised Alice as she briefly went stiff before accepting his back hug from behind while gazing up at the stars as he told her softly then, "If this is a dream or not, you are marvelous at dreaming me up as I am, as I am thinking of things that start with the letter 'A'."
She turned briefly and felt her heart thump a few times as his eyes bore into hers and she stated unsurely with a mix of nervousness, and amusing The Hatter even more, "An Apple?"
She froze as he returned a kiss on her cheek by him as he responded with gleaming eyes of mischief to make her heart once again thump, "I was rather thinking of the letter being you, then an Apple."
They lean against each other, secure in the comfort of their mutual madness with a cloaked individual secretly smiling while holding onto an orb of sorts to show others as on the other side, a man that would hold Alice's interest, later on, smiled in acceptance of his child's chosen and the cloaked person left.
All of a sudden, they heard an unusual roar of sorts that they all within the castle except a deeply sleeping Dani and Morgana, heard within the region where the Red Queen strived, and soon the two turned their gazes to the left side of the land at hearing an echoing roar of sorts that was not heard at all before to cancel the other out as they were perplexed by it.
"That was not the Jabberwocky," Hatter claimed to Alice as Hatter, due to Alice's fear of this, calmly led her inside the castle itself.
A few moments ago within the Jabberwocky's Den:
The drake snorted in place at missing a chance to see the child and Alice, from what was told by a servant, that escaped alongside the ones to be executed.
She is indeed a big bloody head if she allows those that have my interest to escape. The Jabberwocky mentally thinks to itself before hearing footsteps, and eventually sees it was Stayne.
"What pleasure does the Knave of Hearts come to inform me this time?" The Jabberwocky hissed out to the man as he sighed and admitted to it to then perk it up, "It seems the war is coming closer and closer, Jabberwocky. Your Queen decided to fetch you as you're her Champion after all."
The beast flickered its tongue in distaste at that but wordlessly nodded to make Stayne only bow and before he left the cave, he stiffened as the drake itself slowly got up and proceeded to head out.
"Perchance, where are you going?" Stayne inquired to make the beast pause in its steps before turning its head to him swiftly to hide its amusing emotions at witnessing him gulp in place, and responded, "To Hunt, my food once more, and earn my fill before I truly have to fight against the White Queen's Chosen Champion, and will be back in time before the dawn on the Frabjous Day."
The drake then rushed out before taking flight and flew with large sounding flaps away from the castle, and further south of the outskirts and roaring within the night.
The red mist came into the cavernous lair with Stayne soon searching within the drake's trove for what was needed, to which he found as it was some sheddings of the Jabberwocky with a particular chest the red mist swirled once around him for before leaving the cave itself.
The chest itself was around the size of a small music box and held the designs of silver oriental snakes on the sides, and on top was a strange insignia that within the center of it, was a bronze skull with two demonic cut-like rubies within the eye sockets.
He then left while not detecting a cloaked person watching this exchange take place, narrowed their orbs before vanishing in a small popping sound.
Within the Forbidden Lands, at this point and time:
A cloaked individual chose this place for the meeting of sorts, and a vortex appeared within the barren and old ruined land itself that was outside Underland's Borders.
It was Malazar and he gave a wordless stare to his minion he sent to this realm decades ago and was informed things to secretly make the man instantly smirk in place before calmly instructing his minion then in a normal voice, "See to it that the ritual takes place as, by it, I can obtain what I need for our Lord's due in return."
The person left in a puff of black smoke before Malazar saw fragments and bones of fallen warriors as he walked within the devastated city that was concealed by these people to not discover the past misdeeds of ancestors, and smirked once again after entering a temple to see a full set of a skeletal dragon that he recalled this world has forgotten and went up to where the unlit orb was with a rusty looking blade, and easily pulled it while, at the same time, sent energy into the orb to then heal it.
Once he was a few steps back the orb shook within the chest cavity of the downed dragon and with an unexpected flash of dark light, it was made whole once again.
The reverted dragon was pitch black as night in color with crimson lines of sorts on its sides and legs, and large, demonic-looking wings. The head resembling that of Smaug mixed with an eastern dragon, and its eyes glowed a translucent red. It has two tails, with the tips being made of darkish green flames, and the clear tell signs of it being resurrected were shown under the light of old torches, its skeleton showing as a faint glow from under the scales.
The dragon shook its head a few times before snarling at Malazar and forcing itself to back up when an energized hand from him displaying of darkness before he dismissed it, and witnessed the dragon shudder from trying to breathe before he told the drake then, "I have brought you back for your vengeance to which your bones clearly tell, and to perhaps serve a higher purpose of sorts."
Seeing the beast's gaze at him before witnessing the drake's muzzle somehow smirked while showing its teeth at him in instant understanding, "A descendant of the one who slain you, is currently under a false prophecy in this realm, and I recall you have control over a few creatures from the past from the taint itself."
The dragon hissed in cruel laughter at this outcome before tilting its head upwards and roaring so loud the roar itself caused the building to slightly tremble before three dark-like dragons made from the darkness were summoned, formed, and they mostly looked like a demonic version of a Red-Eyes Black Dragon but with chains on their ankles and their eyes amber-colored before shifting to red.
Malazar grinned to himself and without words to get the dragon to understand things at this point, side-stepped out of the four beasts' way as they took off after his instructive words, "Strike on the Frabjous Day and do what you must to test a particular child, as she is to the race that aided in your demise. I would want to see if the rumors of their enraged powers are powerful enough to further aid my assignment from this using her as a battery," he briefly showed a crimson orb with old runes all around it as if it was some type of metal, "Now go!"
Malazar observed the true beast and three shadowy dragons of sorts before he simply stood there as a voice he recognized, appeared behind him from glimpsing it as the red mist himself. "So… You have returned to this world for vengeance like me, old comrade?"
"Of sorts, Haserin. I solely want to watch actual chaos flow from the actions of one enraged Youngling to what I hope would be entertaining… Despite sensing it would involve what you plan as well." Malazar neutrally notified the red misted entity which formed into its look once again and figured that out within moments, "Indeed… The use of the one that almost slain her kind before they fled, and both that and the other races trapped it before leaving and killing my body off, would be rather interesting."
Malazar said nothing for a few moments before he conjured a vortex and informed his old comrade to make the entity think of this, "If you somehow manage to obtain a new body, know that your aid to my cause will be more interesting than others." He then left it while the red mist then left as well back to Iracebeth's Castle.
Within the morning at the White Castle's fancier Dining Hall:
Everyone gaped alongside Mirana as she was also hiding her knowing amusement of Morgana eating at least, in the phrase, half of what a Saiyan would eat of eggs, bacon from the bacon tree (yes in Underland, they have meat-specific trees), and french toast.
Yidhian was currently still sleeping within the ring as Dani was eating awkwardly alongside the Nekotama by witnessing this with the later understanding more, even a few like Chessur and The Hatter as he quietly interpreted to Alice to which she only nodded while slowly eating her food.
"I plan to also see to it your training is furthered, Alice," Tarrant tells the blonde to make her blink at him before nodding wordlessly as sooner than later, Morgana was with Alice within the courtyard with almost everyone except the select few cleaning up the prank they pulled, to which the March Hare was also seeing to that and the White Queen was overseeing the two Red Knights, and Koneko was next to Dani and Chessur on a spare bench.
Morgana and Alice were using practice swords with The Hatter also using the same, and recounted to them for once in a somewhat serious tone, "Come at me."
Alice and Morgana glanced at each other briefly before Morgana decided to charge in firstly with the Nekotama slightly impressed at how progressive her Mate was in her stances now, but was handily tripped by Tarrant moving to the side and used his blade to do so.
"Your opponent will use every trick in the book to see your fall. So, you just need to be one step ahead and think about using anything at your disposal, which includes your maneuverability and speed of your weapon." The Hatter tells the two with Alice is hesitant but charges at him with her blade before she saw Tarrant side-stepped her as well as tripping her.
They were then training for at least an hour or two before Morgana surprised them generally as she managed to use her tail and trip Tarrant and made her blink in surprise as he laughed while pointing at her, "Well done! That is a way to use your tail."
After that, they trained a few more minutes before he called it, and made them blink at his offer with Koneko narrowing her eyes at the man but nodded as she woke up Dani, and ignored her punch to her face to which the girl was sheepish for, "Perhaps the tour to the Flower Garden the Castle has would pique your curiosity." He paused before making Alice smile and shaking his head as they began following him, "Well, the vast garden it has could be slightly more than anything else."
Morgana eyes both Alice and The Hatter knowingly as she recognized the vibe they both gave off as they entered the garden as she and Dani were also walking with Koneko as her genie, was once again off somewhere but was in a way she would be able to come anywhere if she called her by her nickname.
"I sense it too, Mate." Koneko gently states to her with Dani's understanding while they turned to her as she summoned by her magic, a chocolate fudge ice cream cone and looked sheepish as Morgana's magic acted upon only slightly to give everyone one then to puzzle Tarrant yet they enjoyed it as they then decided to play a game of hiding and seek, from Morgana suggesting it with both Alice and Koneko being it.
Alice was near a statue of a hippogryph before she went by as Morgana a few feet away was hiding behind a mausoleum of sorts that held an inner archway that was covered with vined, white zebra roses. Morgana soon stiffened before relaxing at seeing it was Dani as it looked like she was being followed by one of the two seekers.
They then decide to hide further into the maze itself with Tarrant seeing this, chuckled before hiding within the bushes the maze had as Koneko went by him.
"How long do you think we've been hiding here?" Dani asked Morgana as they were within the center of the very maze itself as they were hiding within a floral-like gazebo of sorts that held four unusual statues with a silvery yet rose-vined covered obelisk in the center, and each of the statues was the following while in a stance to protect it: A lion, a snake, a bird of some kind, and a dragon.
Morgana in secret took the cloud-like gem with her alongside another as for some reason, she felt the bizarre need to bring them with Ami, Xal'atath, and both the wand and book knowing indifferently as Ami decided to leave Morgana and started fooling the others, to both Dani's and Morgana's quiet amusement at that as Alice fell for it.
"I still can't believe your shadow does that, like Peter Pan's shadow." Dani admits after waiting several minutes to be found after hearing Koneko cursing Ami out on a prank she pulled without them realizing, "Well, I'm not sure how I did it but I simply imagined my own shadow to be alive, and it happened when I tripped over myself."
Seeing Dani's intrigued look, Morgana was going to respond to her before she yelped while leaning on the obelisk itself as she went right into it to worry Dani over, and she got up but was somehow shoved by something invisible right into the obelisk as well, to which Alice was a witness to this.
With the two girls, they were perplexed while sliding downwards on a looping slide that went every way until they ended up on top of each other once they finally landed.
They were in some kind of cavern area to what they guessed to themselves, within Underland, as there were rock formations and whatnot similar to the land itself while they moved only forward, and blinked at discovering they were at a hidden temple of sorts, and with it resembling mainly to a darkened bricked great pyramid at the least, and a set of closed double stone doors with Latin writing on it.
To Dani, she felt like they were in some ancient place, but to Morgana, this place seemed familiar to her in an unfamiliar way.
Once Morgana places her hand on the doors, she hid a yelp while Dani giggled from her mock glare as the doors slid to the sides from the center due to the doors sensing her blood, secretly.
The two then entered while cautiously sticking together and blinked at beholding it was a large cavernous room with at the end, an altar of sorts that to both girls, felt it was something else or something as Dani felt the unexpected urge to run before blinking at seeing Morgana was distracted by the dimly glowing orb it has and headed over to it.
The orb itself was dark violet and was being held in what appeared to be an obsidian drake of sorts in a similar design to a Blue-Eyes White Dragon in its front claws, but with ruby red gems for eyes. Around the statue were seals and runes perfectly placed for preservation, and on the outer rims were the zodiac animals wearing medieval armor of sorts, but humanoid as smaller statues.
"Mary- Morgana, no!" Dani states in alarm as the orb pulsed with each step Morgana took as she felt like she was compelled to do this, and she began tugging on the orb itself while not hearing a poof behind them and didn't even hear Yidhian shout for her to stop either as she managed to pull it off.
As she pulled it though, she started screaming as the statues all around them, especially the gems of the obsidian dragon, glowed brightly while trapping Morgana within the seal itself.
As it was siphoning her energy, the orb itself was taking this in and was pulsating while at the same time, fluctuating energy in a way Yidhian paled instantly realizing who it might be with disbelief, "It can't be her?! I thought she was going on a trip last time we talked!"
Dani was rather confused with what Morgana's genie remarked aloud as Koneko and the others managed to discover the way to get into here and just arrived as the orb shattered and was soon rematerializing and forming back into an entity from dark purple and crimson miasma with also seeing some of Morgana's blood was reinforced due to some cuts that rapidly healed up to form a person Yidhian hasn't seen in nearly three or so centuries.
The female herself has a cute yet round face, with her purple hair cut close on the left side of her head, but it was hanging onto her shoulders on the right, with right swept bangs hanging over her steel-grey, narrowed yet slightly wide eyes as her skin was fair, and made it even paler in complexion by both her hair and the dark purple off-the-shoulder long sleeve tunic sweater she wore with an odd, skull-like insignia on the front as it was also elastic at the neck and wrists, ruffled at the bottom, and pulled up high enough to not show her underwear. Under it, she had dark grey hip-high tights and black calf-high yet flat-heeled go-go boots. She was also petite or around 4'11 in height and looked to be at least sixteen in age and has a high D-Cup along with a top-slim and lean figure with a slight hourglass due to her waist having a slight u-shape.
She was, however, wielding a weapon. Her weapon (oddly enough), resembled that of a key of sorts with a golden chain at the end with three, medium-sized loops, and her insignia at the end of said chain. The metal though was made of gold and another type of metal mixed as the tip was in the shape of an uppercase "H", and near the hilt, it was an open heart.
The barrier soon dropped with the female landing easily on her feet and seeing things while giving Yidhian a surprised stare as despite feeling alright, she was weaker than normal as she dismissed her weapon, picked up to her secondary surprise while seeing the wound to realize the girl before she may have aided on her escape with a price as her little sister, sighed while going over and handing the girl to her while seeing the state of things even more.
"Seems I have been gone for a long time if your face is like that Yi," the female confided her with Yidhian only nodding wordlessly at first yet before she replies in an honest answer, they turned before moving away slightly as The Hatter had the female soon pinned with madness showing on his face- "Hatter!" Alice said in a tone that snapped him out of it before he replied quietly he was fine and amused the female as he let her up.
"Haven't had that reaction in a long while either for those suffering from Madness," the female noted while brushing herself off and gazing at the others, and implied then, "Why don't we get out of here so I can explain."
After a while, as she managed to show them the way out from long ago a smaller group of people tricked and sealed her away, much to Yidhian's amusement, and explaining things, made the female think while seeing Morgana was currently drawing from The White Queen also being present within their dining hall once again.
"So my ancestors sealed you away for an overdone prank?" Mirana states in a way she was appalled for to which the female merely shrugged while sipping some wine she pilfered from the kitchens by the bottle and nodded at her with a wordless gesture from the bottled tip pointing at her, as they were also eating lunch, at the same time, "Exactamundo my good Queen of White. It was Prankfulu Day after all when that happened, and well… I may have overdone it."
The female or otherwise known as Zone-Tan, looked sheepish when they all turned to Yidhian then by her stray comment while drinking wine as well, and also being amazed at seeing Morgana draw her family and also included Zone-Tan and her friends she made currently into it and was inwardly impressed at how well she was drawing. "Well, between us Zone, we did have crazy pranking skills at times to the point we ended up getting sealed or labeled by titles."
Dani, like the others, watched as the two began speaking about the past a few minutes or so while also amusing the White Queen herself before she coughed into her hand and decided to stop them, "Despite your lovely tales… We need to discuss an issue my guards brought up to the forefront of higher concern."
This got their full attention as Morgana also felt a bad feeling but shoved it aside as Mirana commenced to explain what she was informed to them, "We had reports of some towns being attacked not by Iracebeth herself, but of another coup of sorts that has been taking innocent people after, and reports of a shadowy beast aiding them."
"Well, it has to be someone doing bad things… Right?" Dani stated before asking them as they pondered her words with Yidhian getting up alongside Zone-Tan to confuse Morgana over as she asked them with a cute head tilt, "Where are you going?"
"We'll be back in a few hours or so, Mary. I have a feeling I may understand who it is and between us both, will get things done quickly." Yidhian tells the child to kiss her forehead gently before seeing to startle the residents, Zone-Tan not only devoured her wine bottle like a goat would but all in one bite, but also snapped her fingers a few times before smirking as a purpled vortex appeared and the two went into it.
"Rather interesting choice of friends you have Mary," Alice confesses to Morgana with the blonde inwardly startled like the White Queen was by Zone-Tan's actions.
It was after a while they decided to take the Queen's offer of visiting a town she was ruling over and had yet to be affected by these incidents as coincidentally, the town itself was resembling Morgana's hometown from living with Belle and Maurice, but was thrice in size and population, and also included a school and whatnot for the residents of the town known as Mon-Town.
The reason it got its name was that it contained, surprising Alice and everyone who didn't, Monster Girls with most being regular males that accepted them or even same-sex relations with ways to have kids.
"This is one of the few last remaining cities I rule over that have the descendants of female monsters and those that do not judge and even live with them." Mirana began to decipher in clear detail while watching a female wolf woman kiss a lamia female that was holding a humanized wolf-like lamia hybrid in blue colors as they passed, "And at times, I tend to ship potions for those that are same-sexed, to have children of their own if they desire."
"So what you're saying is that this place is home to Monster Girls?" Dani bluntly raised a question without meaning to while they stopped at seeing a few centaur males and females run after a thief that stole from their food stall before they resumed walking in the town, and mostly ignoring the looks or hinted whispers of mainly Morgana and Alice.
"Yes, Dani, as long ago before the departure of Morgana's Kind, they were once all over Underland and beyond in plural... Before the war of Tainted Darkness and Light occurred within not only Underland but with many counties and regions themselves." Mirana confided her while making Alice pause mid-step that Hatter noticed as he helped her move forward with her giving him a convincing smile as for some reason, she felt like she heard of that before yet can't place it as to where.
"So with a heavy heart after the war ended or close to it, the races left Underland as those you see before you are those that chose to remain behind." Mirana decided to conclude as they came to the city hall itself with Morgana letting out a sneeze and surprised some civilians as in their hands was actual currency Underland uses for them while, at the same time unknowingly, a property barrier was soon placed to not have "Time" itself interfere with their city again.
Once inside, they saw havoc was occurring as some Monster Girls were mainly bird types and lamias, and some were even some spirits as well as it seems like they were too busy to notice them until Mirana coughed lightly into her hand that some took note of them as it seems one was a Naga/bird hybrid.
She looked to be wearing secretary clothing in dark blue and green accents, as four arms due to her bags race with black raven-like wings, wore black-rimmed glasses with her having a delicate round face while looking eighteen, wide yet slightly round serpent hazel eyes with ivory and green mixed hair in a bob cut.
"Oh! My Queen, you here at last! Things have been chaotic since the abduction of the Major and we had to keep a hushed secret about it," the female states to make Mirana narrow her orbs at her in instant understanding, "Who else has been abducted?"
Morgana blinked in small shock like the others by the list of many people including both Yidhian and Zone-Tan, and revealing strange chain cuffs they kept in a bag and were warned they were to suppress anyone's racial powers and make them weak, as Morgana's genie and the demoness herself was onto something before they were captured from one of their civilians they liberated informing them as such.
Morgana though looked determined that Dani saw, as the White Queen was busy, she decided to sneak out while dragging her with her and Alice noticed this with The Hatter being dragged by Alice as they began to follow the two children and Koneko would have gone but she was preoccupied with a spider web, literally, and with the spider, girl stating she was sorry while trying to get her out.
Dani was perplexed when Morgana began weirdly sniffing the air of sorts to the girl, "What are you doing?"
Morgana blinked before turning to Dani as she looked sheepish as such while not seeing Alice did a shushing motion to perplex Tarrant from them hiding behind a close-by statue of an angel of sorts, and saw the girl rub the back of her head sheepishly, "I'm trying to use my nose as Koneko-Chan taught me partially last night… Maybe I can find at least Zone-Nee-Chan's Scent."
Dani sweatdropped at the terms Morgana dubbed them for as her friend was getting used to dubbing even her at times with the Japanese terms of honorifics, at unusual times that is.
Morgana commenced sniffing again and blinked to get not only Dani's but both Alice and Hatter's attention at the sudden beaming face and even astounded a few residents and the three as she abruptly howled in a brief moment before taking off, and with Dani struggling to follow her.
"Well, she is that type of race," Tarrant admitted as he and Alice proceeded going through the streets and alleyways to pursue them in speed with Alice panting out and was oddly enough, thankful for Hatter's bizarre training, only nodding in wordless agreement while after approximately ten minutes or so later and at the outskirts of the city itself and past the border, Morgana blinked and turned to see Dani wheezed at her with a mock glare to make the girl sheepish again as she disregarded Dani was behind her and turned to her left as they both blinked at glimpsing an old set of ruins a few yards or so.
Dani sighed in moments as she saw Morgana take off again with slitted eyes at catching a scent, and followed her into the ruins to make Tarrant hold Alice in place at recognizing the ruins themselves and answered her wordless question, "That is the ruins of Ol'Calamare… One of the few former cities that was ravaged by an old entity only told in folk tales here in Underland. It was defeated by a knight of Light and Darkness long ago, and left for adventures long ahead of ourselves in the past."
Alice blinked while at the same time, feeling a bad sentimental feeling of sorts from losing sight of the two girls within the large ruins of a city itself, and sensing her plight, they both soon took off while not witnessing a cloaked person reveal themselves from using a cloak of invisibility and vanished again as it began following Alice and The Hatter.
With the two, Alice saw ruined shops and homes as they warily traveled into the city itself which was made of dulled marble and black opal stone, with dark burnt or furnished oak wood for the main aspects of some intact buildings while others were demolished by something or rather some type of thing, may have passed through with Fire long ago.
I truly hope that they are safe here… Alice thought to herself before blinking at finding a random intact puppet shop with a single intact female puppet inside but had no strings at all while sitting on a few pieces of rubbles as if someone placed her there.
Alice shook her head and went onwards while not seeing the eyes of the puppet itself sharply gaze at her and watching them leave the area.
Mention the puppet, she resembled closely to a girl around eleven with decent yet black short hair around her neck, warm-light brown wide almond eyes, a cute yet delicate looking oval face, natural porcelain-based skin, and wore mostly a summer outfit fitted for the 1940s as a dress in black, white, and grey colors in a checkered pattern and with the bottom having light-green flames, and grey ankle socks along with black running-like slip-on shoes. In terms, she would resemble a younger Fair Orapun (aka Pitta Model).
To briefly mention the puppet made of living elder wood, she has a tragic background herself yet she was based as a doppelgänger of someone in the future, mixed with being someone who went missing before ending up as she is.
The puppet female shakily stood before silently following the two as well, as the figure was searching for two specific others, as it took them a full day to finally find the person they were searching for… For only to lose them in this cursed city.
Alice jumped while Tarrant turned his head to the far left of the separated paths the city had of hearing Morgana howl once again, was grabbed and forced to follow him and was going wide-eyed as they were passing deliberate traps to kill and with her blushing in moments as he bridal-carried her alongside dodging, even more, traps, with one being arrows that struck, in irony, a target board set up close by.
Alice was feeling something strange within her belly when she eyed Tarrant as he was looking everywhere but here, and blinked it back when he then gently placed her down and gawked to amuse him at seeing the tons of killer traps behind them before she reluctantly resumed following the man through what appeared to be a large courtyard to a medium-sized abandoned castle.
The two soon came to where they figured the two girls went as there was nothing but a dome-like building with vines covering the words, County Hall, and saw as they soon hid behind a few crates, two armored guards that were in positions of well, guarding the entrance.
They wore mostly black marble armor and designed to look like demonic-looking knights, and had jagged blades in matching colors on their left sides, with hints of dulled silver, and on their breastplate near their hearts, was a strange Sigil of sorts that, to Morgana's previous adventures, were the same one.
"What do we do Hatter?" Alice quietly murmured to Tarrant as he made her puzzled when he pulled out… A silvery metallic egg? "This, my dear Alice would possibly solve our problems."
Before she could retort, he gently rolled it while making her take cover, as both guards noticed this with one making a weird gesture to it before a bright flash occurred as the two hiding heard immediate and non-human screaming as when they looked, Hatter, smirked at her and seeing her gawking as the two guards were nothing but empty armor shells.
"Nothing beats the rare vanishing egg… The Queen herself gave it to me to use anytime and only use it at a specific time," Hatter informs Alice as he picked up the egg on the sides while seeing it briefly glow a blue color and he quickly placed it back into his hat and proceeded to once again drag her with him into the large ruins.
The two hid once more, however, as they saw Morgana was strapped by her wrists and ankles to an altar made of grey-like stone and older Latin sigils on the sides of it, on a wall, alongside seeing cages and whatnot that contained not only the missing citizens from the town but also an angered Yidhian and Zone-Tan in chains with Dani being firmly held by more of those guards.
"If you do not wish for harm to come to all these folk, Child, then show us the way to unlock the prize." A male stern voice affirmed in a deep yet rich voice, at Morgana's side while clutching her face firmly to look at him, as he was seven feet tall and wore armor similar to the guards but draconian themed, tan skin, hazel draconian orbs that misted darkness at the sides, ebony short-wild hair, and a face that would make any female swoon.
The two saw Morgana turned away forcibly with the male huffing for a brief moment and without looking, motions to bring Dani over as those types of guards did so, and make her widen not only hers, but everyone else's orbs as she struggled in place as the male soon went over to her, and punched her in the gut.
"Gaze at the ceiling and reveal to me the item to my desire, or this pathetic attempt will not end well for your comrade here, Lizard." The male states with Morgana unknowingly growled at him for the term he used, mixed with her feeling he should leave her friend alone, and everyone present witnessed her eyes glowing briefly and back to make the male impressed and with Hatter soon realized what the man was.
The male soon had a shard-like runic dagger to Dani's throat while ignoring the shouts of everyone in their cages at him, and Dani shook her head to try and give a wordless 'No' at Morgana and revealed why he took the monsters as prisoners. "My drakes and I were returned and realized that this very land requires cleansing, and to do so, I decided to kidnap the innocent and those unfortunate to not withstand the Runic Ceiling, ended up as more to the hidden plan that has yet to be unleashed…. So we lured you here after the Demoness we are irked at," here Zone-Tan let out a deep sigh while seeing Morgana's glance at her and back to this non-human man as he continued, and Alice not seeing Hatter's concerned look at her when she clenched her eyes and held her head as something flashed through her eyes for a mere second to even mesmerize, "Told me of your, Royal existence by relinquishing their aroma for a Youngling as such as you to wholly be ensnared into without much of an option. In truth, your kind has slain me long ago, alongside their champion within a town long forgotten by how many ages of Underland has passed."
They went wide-eyed at this information as the male firmly gripped Morgana's face in an unexpected speedy motion alongside beholding his eyes glow red briefly before going back, and forced the child to look upwards and seeing everyone else was worried about this situation by his words alone, and Hatter forcing Alice to follow him quietly to try and pilfer the keys from the closest guard, "Now gaze to the view of the prison of which I desire… Gaze!"
Morgana for her POV gazed right at a gemstone around the size of Master Emerald from Sonic, but it was a dulled crimson-colored version and the mural surrounding it represents the Yin-Yang sigil of dragons.
"Stop! You don't know what you're doing!" A random monster female shouted as she was a Naga female around her twenties with a cute face and scaled hair, and wore a secretary uniform in dark navy colors that looked battered, "That's the Forbidden Gem the Mayor you killed off told you nothing could break!"
"Silence wrench!" The male exclaimed in a growl at her while still forcing Morgana's head upwards as she saw the gemstone begin to slowly glow bright, "I will have what I lost after my demise, and her precious energy is the key!"
The Hatter as the man spoke, managed to pilfer the keys while avoiding the minions to this man's plan, and gave them to Alice and whispered to her, and she hid a gulp yet moved quickly as told in softened footsteps, "Make haste at freeing the two that can help us all leave this place, Alice, while I distract the fools here."
Yidhian glanced and confused Zone-Tan before she did the same, and facepalmed as Tarrant was indeed distracting them, by performing a magic trick with the male looking dumbfounded by the random things he was pulling as Morgana was having glowing eyes once more before everyone was knocked down just as Alice freed the two females, when she was covered in a sickly green aura of sorts with her body contorted alongside her mouth wide open and a pure beam shot out of it, and right into the gemstone itself.
In specific places, things have been made into a place for Morgana as this was a jump starter for things to pass in due course, especially since she passed out while the man wickedly grinned at seeing a falling dark red orb drop and transformed into a weapon he gently caressed as if, an old friend. The other was a bright large marble-sized amethyst gem with a leopard print on it and landed (after bouncing without anyone noticing), into her pocket.
It was a jagged katana with a demonic hilt in black and dull silver designs just like a star, and with demonic runes etched on the pitch-black blades' sides, and they were in dull gold coloring.
"At last… I am reunited with my weapon." The male mainly tells himself while ignoring the shout of Morgana's name being said by a few others as she collapsed on the ground once she was freed by two minions.
His minions were about to grab the others and have their way with them before he did a small hand gesture, and told them in a way as Yidhian was inspecting Morgana over and both Zone-Tan and even Alice glared at him for, "They mean nothing to me now… Leave them be as we will meet once again." He and all the guards unexpectedly poofed into a black mist that soon sped out into any open crevice.
Tarrant was overseeing the meeting with the White Queen later on and with Yidhian inside Morgana's ring to recuperate from her energy being depleted, and Alice was outside with Zone-Tan as Morgana was being overseen by a few Nurses, and with Zone-Tan was drinking another bottle of wine.
Dani was also with Koneko as the female Nekotama wanted to fully understand what occurred as well by her own words.
"You think that she would be alright?" Alice inquired the Demoness who paused mid-sip of her red wine and lowered it and giving her a look, and informed her in a way that it seems she was brushing it off, "Her type of race are fast healers at times, especially when it comes to energy depletion she recently went through. Never expected that her ancestors were stupid enough to have a Royal as a key to freeing that blasted weapon the Shadraku Dragon has."
Alice froze as Zone-Tan drank straight up from the bottle for a few moments and knew she wouldn't get drunk unless she wanted to be, and only glanced at Alice by her startled words, "That man was a dragon?!"
"Yes, as if what he said was true then we would be seeing that fool when he's fully ready for an assault or worse to Underland… But it would probably be a while before he would do so." Zone-Tan soon replied to the blonde female before downing another sip and added to her words to make Alice think briefly on this, "There are plenty of different types of Dragons in existence, and I know quite a few of them as well. Some can even shift into a mortal form if they wanted to for many things, even for families or keeping to themselves."
Alice soon blinked dumbly at the Demoness as she handed her the red wine and stated to her assertively in a suggestion, "Here. Take a swig and worry about things later on as you look like you're stressed."
Alice was about to disagree with her before seeing Zone-Tan's look and sighed and took a sip before finding the taste bitter yet sweet, and kept drinking it to get Zone-Tan to glint in her eyes.
When Alice was done drinking it, she was about to hand the bottle back while getting a little tipsy yet Zone-Tan waved her off while revealing a flask, and admitting to the blonde, "I can choose when I want to experience a buzz. Luckily my body is capable of handling anything as substance, even things that may seem inappropriate to you."
