Chapter 1489 Game of Shadows
I don't own Bleach or any of the powers and gear used in this story.
After they managed to stop the vampires, Draco and Mila were outside as they decided to check something out first.
"Good thing Lucille managed to get passed by without being known." Mila said.
"Yes, but now theres somethings we must do first." He said.
They went to the casino and he stares at it, theres something off about it he just knows it.
The two went inside and they saw a long blonde hair woman wearing a red bunny suit.
"Well hello there, is it your first time?" She asked.
"Well yes." Mila said.
She looked at her and she was familiar to her.
"Well welcome heres a few chips to start." She gives them each some.
"Thanks." Draco said.
"If you can get 2000 in the slots, i'll take you to a special place." She said before going off.
"Hmm." Draco thinks about it.
"You want to see what that is?" Mila said.
"Let's try it." he goes go the slots.
Draco plays and tries with one coin, he spins it as the slots spin around, he lost the first one, but he tries it again.
He won 20 and got more coins, Draco analyzes as the game goes and he was getting better, he placess three and he won 3000.
"Damn." Mila got stunned.
"It's simple once you see the way it's done." He said.
They went to check the woman and she said: "Good job, now let me show you a real player's game."
She opens a statue making a staircase appear, she leads them inside and they saw another slot machine there.
"Try it." She said.
Draco sits on the chair and puts a few coins, he won the first, he lost the second, but the more he played he won at least 1000 coins.
"Man it's higher the prince." Mila said.
"Yes." He nodded before stopping.
"Oh done already?" The woman asked.
"It's enough." He said.
"Not even one more, for our souls." Her eyes glow.
They got surprised as she transforms into Aeriseth.
"You again!" Mila said.
"That's right, I wanted both of you, so I wanted to make sure you didn't escape." She said.
They then got transported to a dark area with a table in front of them.
"This is a little game of blackjack, i'm sure you know the rules." She said.
"Yes." Draco was sitting down as Mila was behind him.
"The loser will hand his soul to the winner, which means you'll be mine also if it's a draw I win the round." Aeriseth said.
Draco narrows his eyes. 'She picked a game where power doesn't determine the victor, but luck.'
"Now let's start." She said.
"Be careful Draco." Mila said.
Draco deals first and gets a 3 of spades. "Hit me."
A card comes out on it's own being a 9 making it 12.
"Hit me." He gets a 6.
"It's 18." She said.
"I'll hold." He said.
She draws and gets an 21. "Oh too bad."
Thorns hit Draco as he grunted as he felt his life force being drained.
"Draco!" Mila said.
"The more the life force is drained, the more your mine." Aeriseth smirks.
But then the puzzle glowed and Draco looks surprising her as he's got red streaks on his hair as it goes back a bit. His eyes glow with a smirk on his face.
"Well... It's game time." He said.
Mila looks at him and was surprised. "Draco?"
"Draw." he takes out a ace of spades. "I pick it as a eleven."
"Okay." She nodded.
He takes out another. "Queen of hearts."
"What?" Aeriseth said as she got zapped making her grunt.
"You won right away." Mila said.
"Lucky." Aeriseth said.
He draws again. "Club three."
He puts it down and takes another card. "10 of spades. Hold."
"Your holding on 13. Well this will be simple." She takes out a 5. "Five." Then came a 7. "Oh a seven, then it means I will win this round."
Mila got worried and Aeriseth takes out a card and got shocked. "J-j-Jack?"
"Too bad, you busted." He said.
She got zapped again and screams.
Aeriseth looks at his confident smirk. 'Did he know? No that's possible, the deck is alwaus shuffling so nobody would cheat, is he that lucky?'
"I'll start this time." She takes out 10, 3, 4 and another 3 making it 20.
"Well not bad." He said.
"You'll need a 21 to even beat me." She smiles.
Draco takes out a card. "2 of clubs."
Mila watches with a nervous look.
"5 of hearts." He takes out a third. " 3 of diamonds."
The fourth came. "King of hearts."
"A tie? Ha that means I won." She said.
"No." He said.
"What? Your actually going to draw, it's me either way." She said.
Draco smiles stays there as the eye of the puzzle was on his forehead and Mila wonders what will happen.
He takes out a card and spins it. "Ace of spades, I won."
Aeriseth got shocked since he pulled a miracle. "No way."
She got zapped again as she screams with Draco watching, the area changed back as Draco's appearance went back to normal.
He holds his head. 'What was that?'
"Well you lost, now beat it." Mila told her.
"Not exactly, I bet my soul so, I am his." She smiles at Draco.
"Your kidding me, if that's the thing you better not drain another." He said.
"But how can you be so cruel, I need to eat." She said.
"We can't let you harm an innocent." Mila said.
"How about I drain from your enemies?" She suggested.
They looked at each other and shrugged since it's at least better than civilians getting hurt.
"Very well." he said.
"Good." She throws Draco a orb. "Use that to summon me." Aeriseth goes off.
"She just had to tag along." Mila said.
Draco sighs, they went out as it was getting dark, they saw the girl with red hair at the back of the church.
"Hey are you okay?" Mila goes up to her.
They saw a bandage on her neck.
"Oh no." Draco said.
"I thought he was sick but he just needed to wake up." She smiles as she changed.
They saw her become a vampire as the bandage comes off revealing the bite marks.
"Let me turn you into one of us." She goes forward.
They dodged her as Draco hits her with a weak hamon strike sending her back.
She cries out in pain holding her body. "How?!"
"Do you think you could win." He goes forward.
But then a male vampire came from above. "Hey babe let's go, you can't beat two vampires."
"Yes master." She goes to his side.
"Wait!" Mila said.
But they went away making them grunt.
"She escaped." Draco said.
He looks at where she went, he felt bad for her so he must try and help her in some way.
"Let's go." He said.
Mila nodded since theres nothing they can do now for her, she's been turned into a vampire and under the service of that guy.
Note: Heres the few things for the kingdom, as Aeriseth came back to basically make her own version of a shadow game and the girl from the previous chapters returns and she became a vampire.
