Kagome went back to her village all alone. Rin didn't understand why Kagome didn't want to stay. Sesshomaru didnt stop her, but he did warn her to stay away from Inuyasha for a few days, or else he would know. Of course, he said he did not care if the welp found out; she was a grown woman, and he was married.
Kagome wasn't worried about it. Inuyasha didn't come about much anymore. It was almost like she didn't exist. It hurt her as they were supposed to be friends. She gave up so much. The least they could do is visit more often.
But just as it was with her life, he decided to visit her. It was the middle of her third day back.
"Oi," He came barging in. "I came the other day, and you were gone,"
"Hello to you to Inuyasha,"
"Where have you been?"
"Rin moved back West,"
Inuyasha stepped closer, and Kagome did not pay any mind to it, but then he stepped back. "Kagome,"
Kagome looked at him. "Yeah, what?"
His eyes were slightly wide, and his face went hard. "You aren't a virgin anymore!"
Kagome rolled her eyes. "Thats really rude, you know, would you stop sniffing me? I swear, you dogs,"
"My brother," He whispered,
Kagome sighed. "Dont say it like that,"
"Kagome, Sesshomaru?"!
"Things happen; I am an adult, and so is he!"
"Oh yeah, sure, but did you forget that he hates humans and half-breeds even more? What if you get pregnant!"
She wanted to sit him so bad. "Its none of your business, Inuyasha and I would hope you would have more faith in me, Im not pregnant,"
"None of my business! It's my fucking asshole brother!"
"Well, I can't take it back now, can I? What do you want me to say?"
"Why, why him out of everyone?"
"What, everyone?"
"Kagome,"
"He was safe to me, and I was lonely, not that it is any of your business!"
"Sesshomaru, safe?"
"Inuyasha,"
"So, like what, you guys are courting now,"
"What, no!"
"So it was a one-night stand?"
"Would you rather us be courting?"
Inuyasha threw his hands in the air "I would have rather you not slept with him at all!"
"Not your business. What are you, my father!"
"Im your friend!"
"Really, because it doesn't feel like it!"
Silence and pain cut like a knife. His ears went down. "I, I just worry about you,"
"Now," She whispered.
His ears could not go down any further.
"He told me I could stay; I chose to come back," She wasn't making the same mistake twice. Hell no. "I knew what I was doing,"
Inuyasha sighed,
"And dont go attacking him,"
Inuyasha ran a hand threw his hair. "I, I just came to check on you, to see if you needed anything. I'm sorry I haven't been by, kids been keeping me busy,"
"Im fine, just lonely sometimes,"
"Come move closer to us?"
"No thanks, how about visit more?"
"Yeah, sure,"
"And knock next time!"
"Yeah, would hate to walk on you and him; talk about an awkward family reunion,"
"Inuyasha,"
He knew it was coming but smiled all the same.
"Sit,"
He gladly went to the floor, the jab was worth.
