Gryff messes

During lunch, after making sure that Lily had no pressing matter for him, as she usually did and always left for last, Sev, who was bonded to Deborah, chatted with Dumbledore about the most pressing thing, making an appointment for the next week flying lessons.

"I can't assure you anything, because today is Sunday and Professor Wing is not at school," the Headmaster told him. "The one on Tuesday night is on hold, because in fact, she has small children who have not yet come toHogwarts, although I know that she usually leaves them with a babysitter when she has a commitment and her husband, who is an Auror and works many holidays, cannot stay with them, like when she has training or a Quidditch match on the weekends."

"And she must have also been leaving them when we trained from six to dinner," Sev deduced.

"Of course, too."

"Ugh… what a sacrifice she is making."

"Don't worry, it's worth it.She is also charging for the classes she gives you all," said Dumbledore.

"My, Albus, you hadn't told me anything about that. Is it enough the money from the budget?"

"Of course, with everything we are saving on food because of the malefics who left thanks to you precisely, so it belongs to you by right."

"Great then."

"I think Professor Wing will accept your proposal," the Headmaster opined. "She is delighted to be contributing like this. Her husband is an Auror and he is going to take a risk in the war, that is why she is getting so involved."

"Sure. Then he may be another candidate to invite to participate in the training."

"Of course. I see Saturday as less complicated, it suits her very well, right after Quidditch training. I even think we could use the time even better. In principle they have it from four to six, but we could advance it, from two to four, for example, and have yours start at four. This way you can train for even more than two hours if you feel like it, and Professor Wing can go home earlier."

"Oh… that would be fantastic. And two to four won't be too hot to fly for the team?" Sev asked.

"Prince, Quidditch players get used to flying in all kinds of weather conditions, even storms."

"True."

"What you will have to learn to do too, next winter," said Dumbledore.

"Ha! We have the power of Druid Magic."

"True."

"Do you have something urgent to tell me?" Sev asked. "I won't be coming to dinner tonight."

"Nothing, I can confirm that both the lunch schedule and the afternoon exam schedule have already been changed for the next two weeks."

"Yes, I have already seen it published on the boards. Thank you, Albus."

"And that we must continue talking about many issues that we have left pending."

"Of course. We will continue doing it, little by little. I'm going to dedicate the rest of lunch to Lily, I won't see her again until tomorrow."

"Okay, Prince."

"What did you think, Deborah?" Sev asked her bonded.

"That we can now write down the appointments on the calendar. Professor Wing will want to. If she usually looks for a babysitter, it doesn't matter if it's before or after dinner. She can have dinner at school on Tuesday."

"Yes, I think so too."

"I'll take care of it," she said. "Today the whole family is going to go to the Library, to accompany the fifth graders."

"Very good. Tell the others while I chat with Lily."

"You're not going to talk to Lauren?"

"I already talked to her in the morning, while I showered and dressed," he replied. "She is going to spend the entire afternoon with Lily in the Library and I must discuss something with Lily in private."

"We have to continue practicing Projection, to communicate with Lauren, or me Bond with her."

"True, I'll propose it to her."

"You have to talk to Lily about Potter, right?" Deborah asked.

"No, about another thing. If I have enough time to tell her about James, I'll reconnect with you."

"Okay, Prince."

He unbonded from Deborah and bonded with Lily. "Hello again, honey, are you busy?"

"No, Sev, I've already finished reading. All in order regarding the rat and the girls. Cecile is missing, who is reading Potter thoroughly, she has a harder time. "

"She must be in for a big surprise."

"Oh really? Do not tell me."

"I'll tell you, it's not urgent," he said. "There is another topic that interests you more."

"Sirius."

"That is. You should know that he has given me permission to speak to you on his own initiative, I did not ask him."

"Tell me then," she asked.

"I'm going to show you first the hug he gave me." He did it, including his thoughts.

"Wow, Sev... he hugs like hell."

"Now I too, I have learned from him."

"Well, you'll teach me."

"Of course.I now show you the conversation we had in private." He did it.

When he got to the reason why Sirius had told him that he didn't want anything to do with Lily, she interrupted him, "Like Lauren, Sev."

"Yes, that's what I thought."

"How respectful."

"Of course. But don't worry, I've convinced him, let me continue," he said.

"Go on, go on."

Sev continued. When he got to the point that Sirius had told him that he was in love with Lily, she interrupted him again, "How awesome, Sev! "

" I think it has been since he talked to you these two nights."

"Yes, I think so too."

"Look at him, is he looking at you?" he asked.

Lily looked at Sirius. "Yes, he is doing it."

"How does he look at you?"

"Like yesterday while we were fighting."

"Does he chat with others?" Sev asked.

"No, he does not."

"I think that he is no longer going to try to win you over in his seductive way, which works for everyone, but with the sincere and deep feeling that he feels for you."

"Oh…"

"Is he still looking at you?" he asked again.

"Yeah."

"Stop looking at him now, have lunch in peace. I'm going to continue telling you, there is much more."

Lily stopped looking at Sirius. "Go on, go on."

She let him say two more sentences and interrupted him again, "Wow, Sev... he caught us."

"Yes, he is very smart, he doesn't miss a thing. I continue."

Sev went on until they had finished talking about her and asked her, "What do you think, Lily?"

"That I'm crazy about him, Sev. He is wonderful."

"Of course he is, he is perfect for you. I'm crazy about him too, I'll finish showing it to you." He showed her the end of the conversation, including his thoughts about how they adored each other, and how they had sought each other out at the end of training to hug again.

"Wow… Sev. What a wonderful person. He is to you like Lauren is to me."

"We will form a perfect family between the four of us. It won't be with Jack, it will be with Sirius."

"Sev, you have to go look at Erised to see if the premonition has changed."

"I wanted to do it today, and yesterday Deborah convinced me not to do it, so that it wouldn't torment me if it hasn't changed and make my afternoon miserable."

"Sure…"

"But the truth is that I want to do it," he said. "I don't think it's going to make me feel so bad.I love him, and the uncertainty is worse, so I can continue doing my part to avoid it.Also, I want you to meet him again as soon as possible, tonight if you want."

"Not tonight, Sev. Even if you look at Erised, you won't be able to tell me about it and tomorrow we have Charms, for Outstanding in Defense, and he's not as good at it as we are."

"Ah! So I know what you can do, give him a hand this afternoon when you don't have to attend to Lauren."

"Right, I'm going to do it, and maybe after dinner I'll suggest that we stay in the Common Room to review practice if Lauren no longer needs me," she proposed.

"Excellent idea, Lily, so others also get used to seeing you with him."

"We will be alone tomorrow night, the next day we both have free."

"Well, if you spend time with him studying, maybe it will be enough for you both."

"Maybe yes, I'll propose it, whatever we want," she said. "Maybe he doesn't want to be alone with me because he won't be tempted."

"Of course, although I don't think he will, he doesn't go hungry."

"Yes, Sev, but it's another thing to be in love. He is going to stop having enough with what he has with the others."

"Of course. But he has also told me that he usually spends the summer alone, he is not obsessed with sex."

"No, of course he is not. Did he said anything about Lauren to you?"

"Nothing, not a word," he replied.

"What I told you, he has already forgotten her. Now only I exist for him."

"Well, they weren't going to have much opportunity to be in contact until the end of the term. Lauren has to study and she can't move freely around the castle."

"True."

"And next year they will see each other more often in class," Sev continued. "And don't think that he forgets about the others, he was very excited when I told him that Valerie is a Chaser and I invited him to Quidditch training."

"Of course, you hadn't told me that."

"We have time to tell you about James. Or do you prefer that Cecile surprise you and you laugh for a while?"

"You tell me, Sev, so I can laugh twice."

"I reconnect with Deborah and give you a summary of what we have talked about you and the evolution of his thoughts during the conversation."

"Brilliant."

He did it, the three of them laughed a lot.

"Poor boy, he must be a mess," said Lily.

"Indeed, and when we and you and Sirius come to light, he's going to hallucinate, won by the hand."

"Indeed."

"They have already finished dessert, my love," he said. "I'll be at the Library until three. The times you are not busy, bond with me, even if we don't chat, I love feeling what we feel thanks to the Bond."

"Of course, Sev, me too."

They each went home and then to the Library. The Slys arrived earlier, because they were faster and more organized and lived much closer. Lauren was already there too, on a bench halfway between the one at the back, where the Gryffs sat, and one towards the center, where the Slys sat. These again were strategically arranged to carry out their tasks.

When the Gryffs arrived they also did so strategically. On the way home and back, Cecile had already told the other four occlumants, bonded, everything she had read in Potter, and the five of them had spent the entire time laughing. So now they had to read them all again except Sirius in case they had suspected something.

So the Gryffs sat, Frank, Alice, Remus, Cecile, Lily and Sirius on the back bench, facing the other tables, Lily had previously told Sirius to sit with her and to ask Mary to do it in front of them. So Mary sat in front of Sirius, Bethany in front of Lily, next to her James, in front of Cecile, and next to him the rat, in front of Remus.

In five minutes they had the all in order, since these were very recent thoughts. None of the four had noticed that they weren't talking to each other while laughing.

They each dedicated themselves to their own thing, Cecile and Remus continued practicing Legilimency, Cecile did it with Frank, who was the furthest away from her, practicing distance and speed, and Remus with Alice, up close but without looking her in the eyes, practicing depth.

In theory Lily should have been practicing too, but she had more important things to do. First of all, she bonded with Lauren, corrected all the Rune translations that she had done in the morning and gave her homework for a while longer, so that she would be busy at least until three, when Sev would leave.

She bonded with him and overheard him explaining Charms theory to Fiona.

He said to her, "Excuse me for a moment, Fiona, I have to talk to Valerie."

(Sev really knows how to hide,) Lily thought.

"Hello, honey, what a surprise," he said to Lily. "How about Lauren?"

"She's busy until three."

"And the morning homework? "

"She will reach the EE with complete certainty," she replied. "And I dare say that if she spends the entire afternoon, evening, and whatever time we have free tomorrow, she will get Outstanding."

"Great. How about Sirius?"

"Studying Charms theory."

"Doesn't he need help?" he asked.

"I'll help him after three, we still have more than four hours left."

"But you have to continue taking care of Lauren."

"No problem, Sev. Sirius is a good student, he won't have any problems with theory. How is Fiona doing?"

"Well, she will take it out, she only needs EE and she is very good at practicing, but she has a hard time memorizing, she needs someone to ask her."

"Oh... and you're going to leave at three. Is there anyone left to take care of her?"

"Yes, Anthony will take care of both, he will ask them at the same time," he answered.

"How organized you guys are. Then I left you, I stay bonded, listening to you."

"You're going to get bored."

"The one who is getting bored is you.I'm charmed by Charms," said Lily.

"That's what Lauren told me last night. I left you then, I'm no longer bored, feeling you."

"I knew it."

They continued like this until three o'clock. Sev asking Fiona about Charms theory and Lily pretending that she was studying Runes listening to them, bonded.

"Honey, I'm leaving for my little surprise, see you tomorrow at breakfast," he said.

"Enjoy it, my love. You will tell me."

"I'll tell you if I'm not too embarrassed, let's see what they have prepared for me."

They laughed.

"Sev, don't say funny things, I can't hide."

"Yes, I know that you don't know how to hide. Well, I'm leaving, Deborah already left for the kitchens and we don't want to keep her waiting."

"See you tomorrow, Sev."

"See you tomorrow, Princess."

They unbonded. Lily bonded with Lauren. "Have you finished what I gave you, Lauren?"

"Not yet, but I'm not far away."

"You're a machine. Are you using dictionary?"

"No, Lily, so as not to deceive myself about what I know and what I don't."

"Very well done, I'll correct your mistakes. Let's do it now with what you already have and I'll give you homework for a couple more hours. Today I have someone else to attend to, who has been waiting for me for more than an hour and a half."

"Who?"

"Sirius," Lily replied. "I've won you by hand, I'll tell you.Now focus on studying."

Lily corrected her homework and set her for two more hours. "There, at this rate you're going to get Outstanding," she said.

"What a relief, Lily, it was the one who worried me the most."

"Well, stay calm, you already have EE. Let me know when you're done."

"Great, Lily, thank you very much."

They unbonded. Lily asked Sirius, "How are you doing, Black? What year are you studying?"

"Fifth."

"And you already control everything?"

"Yes, practically. It's the most recent," he replied.

"Do you want us to review third and fourth?"

"It would be great for me. But you are studying Runes, right?"

"I only need an Acceptable and I will get Outstanding," she answered. "I'm already bored, I'll continue at times, there's still tomorrow. It will be good for me to review Charms."

"Okay then. Am I going to take out the books?"

"It's not necessary, I know everything by heart."

"Of course, you are the best at Charms," Sirius appraised.

They reviewed all the third and fourth grade theory, which took them two hours.

"Continue with fifth grade for a while, I'm going to study Runes a little more and then I'll ask you," Lily told him.

"Brilliant."

She bonded with Lauren again and asked, "How are you doing?"

"Wait for me to finish the sentence, the last one."

Lily waited a minute.

"That's it," the Sly told her.

"You are a machine Lauren. Come on, I'll correct you."

They did it.

"Wow, Lauren... You're going to get the Outstanding."

"Thanks to you, Lily."

"Make no mistake, this morning was already very good."

"Am I better off studying another subject?"

"Have you already read the entire Charms theory?" the Gryff asked.

"Yes, last night."

"How are you doing in practice?"

"Perfect, practice has always been good for me," Lauren replied.

"And the Herbology theory?"

"All read."

"And the practice great, with the magic of the Forest," said Lily.

"That is."

"Potions theory?"

"I'm missing that one, but I have Tuesday afternoon, part of Wednesday and all of Thursday to read," the brunette answered.

"Potions practice?"

"Fifth grade perfect, Sev gave me all his notes from before he started helping me."

"But you are missing the third and fourth grades," the redhead deduced.

"True."

"Booff... Lucky that we realized it with enough time."

"Nothing was wrong, Lily, I just need an EE, with the recipes in the book I can get it."

"I have my notebooks written down. Tomorrow I'll leave them for you in the Herbology stash."

"Great, Lily."

"Let's continue with Runes then. I'll give you a lot of homework, for everything that remains of the afternoon and evening."

"Go ahead."

Lily did it.

"After dinner I'm not going to comeback to the Library," she said. "We'll meet tomorrow when you finish your Charms practical, you're going to finish it much later than me.This alphabetical order thing is a nuisance for all of you who have surnames with the last letters."

"Of course. Sev still has his turn after me."

"Don't worry about Sev, he doesn't get nervous. I'm more worried about Anthony."

"Yes, Anthony can get nervous, he is much more insecure," said Lauren.

"I hope they don't rush him."

"Sev will be supporting him the entire time while we wait. He will make it."

"Sure. See you tomorrow then, Lauren."

"See you tomorrow, pretty."

Lily unbonded from Lauren and asked Sirius, "Do you already have all fifth, Black?"

"Yes I think so."

"I'm going to ask you, okay? About the three years, mixed."

"Go ahead."

Lily spent the more than an hour until they went home asking Sirius about all the Charms theory. He only had three mistakes. They got up to go home to leave their belongings.

"Brilliant," she appraised. "It will be a coincidence that we just have to deal with a topic that you were wrong about."

"And if so, you have already corrected me, from today to tomorrow I will remember it. Thank you very much Evans, you have helped me a lot."

"It wasn't me, you already knew practically everything. You've worked on it for three years. Congratulations."

"I still have almost the entire morning left to continue reviewing," he said.

"Of course, you are from the B, how lucky."

"And you from the E, it's also early for you."

"Well, we'll give it another review when we finish the practical exam. Do you want?" Lily asked.

"Of course, we'll meet here, I'll wait for you."

"How do you carry out the practice?"

"Fairly good," Sirius replied.

"You don't have enough with fairly good, you need Outstanding."

"True."

"After dinner we'll stay in the Common Room and I'll help you," she suggested.

"Don't you need to continue with Runes?"

"I already told you I don't, Black."

"Okay then," he agreed,

During dinner Lily read to herself, she wanted to know what Potter thought first hand and if anyone was suspicious of her exchange with Black in the Library. Nothing from Pettigrew or Potter. Bethany was delighted with life, because she was paying attention to Black instead of Potter, and Mary was getting jealous.

She read her more deeply into that aspect of her life and she discovered that she really liked Potter, that she had gotten involved with Sirius with the intention of getting closer to the former, and that precisely for that reason she hid her relationship with him.

Great. I have to tell Sirius tomorrow, Lily thought. We kill four birds with one stone. She stops being jealous, Sirius gets rid of her, I get rid of Potter and he finds a girlfriend.

They returned home and everyone returned to the Library except Lily and Sirius. They settled in the corner where they used to see each other at night, as it was still daytime there was good light. They reviewed one by one all the spells that were on the exam syllabus until Sirius got them perfect. It took them two hours, until after curfew.

Although the others had already returned from the Library an hour ago, no one bothered them, as they in turn began to review the practice of Charms.

I won't settle for this, Lily thought. "Now try to make them all non-verbal. Yesterday you learned to cast defensive spells in less than twenty minutes, you were great at it. These are much easier, they do not require intention. I'll tell you without a pass and you do them."

That's what they did, they all came out the first time, in another half hour.

"Bravo! You are an excellent wizard. Make the Muffliato."

Sirius did, nonverbally.

"Finally alone, Padfoot!"

They laughed.

"What an invention that of Sev's," he said.

How cute, the first thing he talks about is Sev, it's true that he's dazzled by him. "Indeed, he's a genius. You don't know how useful it is in certain situations."

They laughed again.

Friendly, complicit, not a trace of trying to seduce me. "Have you already tried it?"

"I have."

They laughed again.

Some shyness. Now, before me, he is embarrassed to be with so many girls, she thought.I get the impression that the same thing is going to happen to him as Lauren did, he's going to regret giving himself over like that to people he hardly cared about. I'm going to wait until tomorrow to tell him about Mary, I don't want him to worry tonight and sleep badly. "How was this morning with Sev?"

"Great, Lily, very exciting."

"I've already seen you hug each other at the end of training."

"I'm very sorry that you can't do it."

He's exceptional, he thinks of us before himself, like Lauren. He's perfect for us. "Booff... let's not talk about that, Padfoot, we'll both start crying."

"You're right."

"We better leave it for tomorrow. Shall I tell you funny things?"

"Go ahead," Sirius agreed.

"I read Potter thoroughly at dinner."

They laughed.

"Cecile did it at lunch and she told us all about it, that's why we came down the stairs laughing," she continued.

They laughed again.

"Do you want me to tell you?"

"Of course."

She told him, in detail, they laughed a lot.

"Wow... Sev must have had a great time this morning," he said.

"Indeed."

"But he hasn't laughed even once out of place."

"Because he is the king of dissimulation, not like us. Everyone in the Room is watching us laugh and they can't hear us, tomorrow I'm going to have to read to all our classmates again at breakfast."

They laughed heartily.
