Orion found herself awoken to the smells of burning. She gasped, and shot up before placing on her armor and heading down the stairs. She rushes to the kitchen in worry. "Gevo! There's a fire- are you okay! We need to leave! Gev…Gevo…" She heads to the kitchen to see Android 16 over the fire, with a confused look, Orion screamed and shoved him away from the fire. And immediately puts the fire out.
"Gevo! What was that!?" Orion asked with worry. Android 16 looks a little sheepish.
"In my attempt at simulating what you humans call. "Domestic Life" I attempted to cook for you and bring it to bed, but seeing as I am unable to cook, I miscalculated directions and burned my hand." Orion gasped, and rushed to get a rag and cooled it, before pressing the rag on the burn. Android 16 remained indifferent as usual, having the feeling like it didn't bother him.
"Gevo, I appreciate your kindness but please be careful when cooking by yourself." Orion said, with an edge of worry to her tone, "I appreciate it again, but I don't want this house burning down because of it."
Android 16 frowned. "I apologize if I intentionally put you in harm's way, it is not my intention to do that at all, Nova, I was attempting to surprise you with something as some form of a gratitude for all that you have done for me." Android 16 said.
"...Gevo, you don't have to apologize…" She said, getting up and running to the linen closet to get some burn cream and bandages. She rubbed the burn cream on Android 16's burn and wrapped the area where it was burning. She gave him a platonic kiss on his forehead.
"You appear to be distressed and angered by my mistake… I thought it would be appropriate to do so." Android 16 said.
"It… It doesn't need to be an issue, you made a small mistake that meant nothing. Just don't worry about it, how about I teach you how to cook someday?" Orion offers.
"That will be more than lovely, Nova." Android 16 said, Orion smiled.
"Okay, I am heading to Capsule Corps to get some supplies for myself, maybe I can get you something too. How's that?" Orion asked.
"I'd love to tag along." Android 16 said, Orion smiled and nodded.
"Alright, let's go." She gets up as her tail wrapped around her waist. She gets up. Android 16 followed her to Capsule Corp, upon arriving there. The door opened and Dr. Briefs walked out.
"Ah, hello you two! How was your first day in the new capsule home? And your first day as roommates?" Dr. Briefs asked.
"Well, it went fine, as all things expected. It could have gone worse." Orion commented. Android 16 awkwardly waved.
"What happened to his arm?" Dr. Briefs asked.
"He burnt it by accident, when trying to cook for me." Orion said, Android 16 looked to the side embarrassed.
"Well, that's awful. It's nice to see you two are settling in quite nicely. So what brings you two to Capsule Corp?" Dr. Briefs asked.
"Well, I wanted to get some new clothes, I don't need this armor anymore since I no longer am a Saiyan warrior." She said.
"I see." Dr. Briefs nodded.
"And Gevo might need new clothes as well." Orion said.
"I will be on it. I can get you some clothes, I'll be right on it, you can wait." Dr. Briefs said, walking off. Android 16 looked towards Orion with a soft smile.
"I find it very respectable that you are willing to help me and give me a more human look. I appreciate it." Android 16 said.
"I mean, it's the least I could do, do you want to go visit Android 17?" Orion asked. Android 16 nodded.
"It would be beneficial to see a friend, an old friend at that."
"I knew you would, I heard Android 17 is out managing some Animal Sanctuary, you seem to like Nature as much as I do, so I wanted to see if you would be willing to go with me there to see Android 17." Orion explained.
"Hm, it seems nice to hear Android 17 is engaging in something meaningful to nature." Orion nods, and looks on as Dr. Briefs came out with a capsule filled with outfit. Actually to be more accurate, two basket worths of capsules.
"We found a lot of clothes you'd like, one basket is yours, Orion. And the other is Android 16's." Dr. Briefs handed the basket for Orion to her, but Android 16 took it and his basket.
"Wow, what a gentleman." Bulma said, coming out with Trunks in her arms.
"Ah… It's in my programming to help." Android 16 said.
"Mhm, hey, Orion, mind if we talk alone?" Bulma asked.
"I do mind, actually, but sure. I have time to kill." Orion said, "Gevo you mind if I go with Bulma in a bit?" Orion asked.
"It's fine with me Nova." Android 16 said, "I will be waiting for you until the meantime." Android 16 added.
Orion nods, and leaves with Bulma to another room. Once she placed Trunks down for a nap and smiled at Orion. "Well, I see you and Android 16's getting comfy." Bulma teases.
"I- um, well… I'd say that we're pretty close but not that close." Orion said, taken aback by Bulma's teasing.
"Right, "pretty close" friends don't have them making breakfast for one another, they don't let them take a capsule home with one bed, they don't offer to live with them." Bulma said.
"Gevo, from my understanding. Doesn't need to sleep, he's still an android despite being half-human. So I understand why he asked for a single bedroom. He's like a butler, but a best friend." Orion said, Bulma looked away and sighed.
"No, this can't be, you two are so close together almost as if you two are married! Look, if you ever want to confess your love to him someday, here's something important. I never got the chance to give this to Vegeta since he came to me first." She said, handing Orion this capsule pod.
"Open it, when you are truly ready." Bulma said.
"Okay, thanks." Orion pockets the Capsule Pod in her pocket and heads outdoors.
"Let's go, Gevo." Orion said.
"What took you so long, Nova?"
"Nothing, let's just go."
