A Phantom's Love and Courage
Chapter 4: A Surprising Encounter: Enter a strong, mysterious girl!
Danny was surprised, enough to ignore whatever pain he felt from falling and as he looked up, he wasn't even paying attention to anything else anymore.
"Who is this?!..."The ghost boy thought in confusion as he looked at this girl, who was dressed in what looked to be some kind of uniform.
She also seemed angry and looked like she was about to do something pretty dangerous, or at least that's how Danny saw things, while the thugs merely sent the tall girl a dirty look while she looked to them in disgust.
"Oh man, please tell me she isn't going to do what I think she's going do..."He thought in worry as she frowned while she crossed her arms.
She then said the following to the thugs in Japanese.
"Watashi wa subete o mimashita. Kare wa hotondo anata ni butsukarimasendeshita. Sore wa kanari hikuku, nan'ninka no randamuna kankōkyaku o yurugasu tame ni shōtotsu o sutējingu shimasu..."She said in anger. "Anata wa okubyōmono o yogoshimasu, naze anata wa baka ga anata jishin no saizu no dareka to tatakatte mimasen ka?!..."She added in more anger.
"Are wa nanideshou?!..."One thug said in anger but the tall girl ignored him.
"Anata wa watashi o kiita, ima anata ga anata ni totte nani ga saizen ka o shitte irunara anata 3-ri wa shazai surubekida to omou!..."She warned them.
"What did she say this time?..."Danny thought, confused as one of the thugs approached her.
"Naze anata wa osekkaina, chīsana on'nanoko! Dare mo sonoyōni watashitachi ni hanashikakeru koto wa arimasen... Daishō o harawazu ni haira remasen!..."The lead thug said as he was about to reach for her.
However, the girl grabbed his arm and what happened next surprised Danny.
She easily twisted his wrist with great speed and in mere seconds, the lead thug was now on the ground, groaning in pain. The ghost boy couldn't believe that she had just easily and effortlessly threw him overhead like he was some rag-doll.
"Whoa!..."Danny let out as the other thugs snapped out of their shock and got mad.
One of the thugs even tried to run at the girl with a fist raised, intending to do harm. However, the tall girl easily dodged him and quickly...and painfully kneed him, sending him to the ground, where he was knocked out from the pain.
With two of the thugs on the ground and the other one...the one faking the leg injury looked at her in horror, the girl spoke again.
"Ima, shazai shi, kono shōnen o hanatte oite kudasai. Ima, watashi ga ikutsu ka no hontō no towa-tekina damēji o ataeru koto ni kimeru mae ni!..."She said in a stern tone.
The remaining thug gulped before he did so.
"Gomen nasai!..."He shouted before running away like a coward and leaving his buddies on the ground, in pain.
Danny, on the other hand, didn't know what he said but he was too distracted by this tough yet not dangerous girl paying attention to him now.
He also got a better look at her. He noticed that she is taller than him by a couple of inches and seemed pretty brawny for a girl. She has long, wavy reddish brown hair in a ponytail, green eyes, with light skin and beautiful rose earring.
She is also very pretty now that she was smiling.
"Wow..."He thought in amazement, as stared at the girl who smiled at him.
She didn't even tired or looked the least bit on edge from beating up those thugs from earlier. Anyway, the mysterious girl who helped him now approached him, nodding in relief now that he's okay.
"Daijōbudesuka? Sore ga anata o kowagara senakatta koto o negatte imasu..."She said in Japanese.
"Huh?..."Danny let out, not understanding.
She blinked, recognizing his words.
"I said... I hope you are... okay..."The girl said in English as she now sent him a smile.
Danny nodded as he felt a small blush forming on his face, he was still awestruck at this tall girl.
The tall girl, seeing that he was unharmed and that these bullies won't bother him now, turned around.
"Be careful and take care now..."She said as she walked away.
The boy only stood there, still stunned by what he just saw. That some tall but admittedly pretty girl just saved him from being manhandled by some bullies.
"She's amazing. Who is that girl? ..."He thought as the tall girl walked away, while the boy thought what she did was really cool.
She was able to take these men down with ease, with such fast movements that it almost looked like she was a superhero herself, or at least that's how Danny saw the whole one-sided fight.
True, he might have been able to escape these thugs if given a chance but he did appreciate her helping him, especially after dealing with similar stuff back home.
"Still, that was really awesome of her to do for a complete stranger. I wish I got her name..."He thought, still looking where she went.
He would have followed her and thanked her properly but he remembered what Clockwork said, that he has to find these Sailor Guardians and help them take down this major foe that the time master warned him about.
So, the ghost boy reluctantly left, still, part of him wished that he could have talked to that tall girl and show some gratitude but he had been speechless from how amazing she was when she fought.
"I should have at least said "Thank You" to her before she left..."He thought as he tried to find a place to morph and fly.
He had to find at least one of these girls...hopefully one of the two most attractive ones, Venus or Jupiter.
Meanwhile
In The Ghost Zone
A certain time master saw the entire one-sided fight from his lair.
He nodded as he knew that Danny unknowingly made contact with someone who will be of importance later, but smiled at the result all the same.
"Good, he has met one of the girls, only four more to go..."He said to himself as he continued to watch Danny's adventure unfold.
He knew that more events were about to play out, once Danny meets the rest of the girls. It was going slow but only time and the master of time itself can know for sure if things go according to plan.
Plus, he's sure the ghostly superhero will thank him for this later.
"Should've brought popcorn..."He thought, with a knowing look as he continued to watch the events unfold.

1. I always assumed that Dash and Paulina made it up just to keep control over the other students.
2. I wouldn't exactly say Sam is THAT bad. Sure, she is stubborn, prideful and jealous but I think the first two are due to the fact that she was born rich and while she means well, her family's resources might have spoiled her a little, as much as she would hate to admit it. As for the later, I think that as a kid, she never got along with the other girls due to her tomboyish nature and her dislike of pink and girly things, which is part of the reason she clings so close to Danny (and Tucker to a lesser extent) since they accept her for who she is and don't try to force her into acting like a "typical" girl. Sure, it doesn't excuse her more questionable actions, but I think that does explain the reasons for it.
3) I like both the DiC dub and the Viz dub, since I grew up with them.
4. Dash Baxter, Penelope Spectra, LaCienaga Boulevardez, Dodie Bishop(I don't approve of how she sometimes treats Ginger) and Sparky the fairy dog.
5. Danny Phantom, obviously. It deserved more episodes and it had too many unresolved plot-lines like Danielle someday joining Danny's family and the eventual return of Dark Dan
6. I miss the charm of classic, hand-drawn cartoons that modern CGI lacks.
7. David Kaufman, Tara Strong, etc.
