Trina snuck down the stairs towards the bonus room hidden next to the garage, the one part of the house build on the lower part of the hill. She had no desire to alarm anyone, just wanted to find her sister in the next ten minute or so, before the ball dropped and the new year began. 'If you're down here, I'm worried it's cause my sister fell for some guys line, and is now giving away more than the hundred day kiss.'
The older girl soon noted how quiet the hallway was as she skirted the garage and moved towards the bonus room. They'd used it for storage, but also an excessive room, and if she was honest, it was where she'd lost her own virginity. 'Kinda why we have the futon there.' She smiled at the embarrassing memory, of Hector Gonzales, his pants down around his ankles, and how bad he was at nailing her. 'Only positive was, boy had himself a tongue. If I'd have been smarter back then, I'd have kept him, cause once he started using that, things happened, making me one of the few girls I know who got her first induced orgasm while losing her V card…'
She knew that Danny had fucked Tori, at his place, and the poor girl hadn't joined the big O club from that loss. 'In fact, I doubt he'd given anyone an O worth mentioning by the time he was dating Cat. Wonder why Tori wanted him back… Oh well, halls too quiet, so the odds of her…' The muffled moan sounded off, and Trina remembered something about where she and Tori went to school.
'Fuck, FUCK, FUCK!' The older sister swore to herself as she rushed the last few steps to the door, stopping and checking to see if maybe her sister had included locking the door in her preperations. The lock, supposedly to protect anything in the room, had been used for privacy for a while now. Only, Trina, being smart, had brought the key, and quietly unlocked the door, sliding it open bairly a hair.
What she saw both calmed her down, and worried her. 'They hung blankets. Blankets will absorb sound, making a sort of home music room. They teach us that much in school, at least at Hollywood Arts. So, did they…' Her eyes scanned, confirming two things. One, that a blanket had been hung across the roof, dulling their sounds. But in moving the one blanket by the door enough to see, just a crack, she also got to see what was happening on the bed, and that confused her, if only for the five seconds to figure things out.
'Body on top is female, but too curvy to be Tori.' Trina concluded. 'Lets see if I can see who's on… Yep, that's my sister, meaning the figure on top, Jade. Okay, need to figure out who to tell, and what to do, and I have five minutes until midnight. They're gonna need at least another ten, maybe, so time to go upstairs and make excuses, cause I just…' Trina let that thought drop as she quietly closed and locked the door, then rushed up stairs to make excuses.
Trina quickly made her way up the stairs, thinking of the best way to cover this new development. 'Sex as a weapon. Should never have let Tori see that old Pat Benatar album dad had…'
Making up to the door, Trina stopped and spent just a second glancing back, making sure no one had followed. 'Too distracted, but still, best to be safe…' Her mind now at ease, and her body calmer, she opened the door and walked into the New years Eve party.
"So?" It was almost immediate, Beck asking where her sister was. "You find her?"
"She's busy working on something." Trina said, stretching the truth. "Thinking she'll be up when she's done."
"But it's almost midnight." The Canadian protested.
"And you were hoping for a kiss?" Trina asked. "I'm free…"
"Maybe I can find Jade…" Beck started.
"Yea, you do that." The now frustrated girl said, stalking away, seeking her parents.
"So, you find Tori?" Cat asked, giggling.
"How?" Trina asked, taking in the drunken way the petite girl was swaying. "Mom and dad are controlling all alcohol in this house. Hell, they only have a small amount of champagne, for midnight, so how are you drunk?"
"I'm not." Cat protested. "But it's Old Years out, and I wanna celebrate. Every year, my parents, my friends wind up acting this way, and I wanna have the kinds of fun they seem to have. You have any idea how long I've waited to be allowed to stay up this late?"
"Wait, you're usually in bed by now, right?"
"Only cause I don't wanna be tired." Cat explained. "My parents let me stay up for the New Year since I was twelve. But that means I had to wait twelve years. I'm gonna party, have some fun. That, and I kinda act like this when tired. Not drunk, like when Tori and I do our show, just tired…"
"Oh, right…" Trina started to drift away from the petite girl.
"Wait, did you find Tori?" Cat pushed.
"Yea, she's doing something." Trina tossed out. "She'll celebrate the new year doing that, and get back to us after."
"I just hope she's not too late." The fake redhead said. "Some of us aren't used to staying up this late, and will be heading home shortly after the new year."
Trina ignored her, smiling as she passed Tori's friends, people who'd become as close to her as her own friends, despite them saying they didn't want her around. Andre's nod told her he might need help if his current date didn't turn things around. 'So Sherry was too touchy feely, and May Ying is to withdrawn. Boy just doesn't have a happy medium. He's got to learn, the girl you invite to a party, maybe not there yet. Oh well, all I have to do is offer to drive her home, and that's that. Save him the effort. Man wonders why he has such a hard time keeping girls…'
"You find Tori?" Her father asked.
"Where's mom?" Trina asked back.
"Upstairs, watching New York."
"Their ball dropped three hours ago." The eldest child noted. "Lets go talk to her."
"Time running out." David insisted. "We need to find…"
Trina cut him off. "She's screwing that scary chick from her social group."
The man stopped, only to race after her. "What now?"
Holly was in the master bedroom, watching television, giving the kids as much privacy as they'd allow. Security camera's monitored the party, allowing the parents their quiet evening. "Can't find her anywhere." The mother said.
"Bonus room, nailing gothica." Trina informed her. "And as someone set up blankets to kill the noise, I'm thinking this was planned."
"Gothica, as in…" Holly tried to understand.
"Jade West." David guessed. "I thought we'd have to watch the Canadian boy, maybe Robbie…"
"She doesn't have any interest in Robbie." Trina corrected.
"Yea, but he can be such a creeper." Holly said. "Like that Van Cleef boy. Only, that one, at least we can deal with, cause his father, more than willing to pull the breaks, rein him in."
"So you're suggesting Tori, our angel…" David looked for the right words.
"Found a way to deal with her bully." Trina finished.
"Yea, got so focused on the wrong part of that couple, I forced myself to miss the obvious attraction." Holly said. "Look, we have less than two minutes. Why don't you go down, enjoy the new year with your friends. We'll be down in a few, and deal with our errant daughter then."
"How are you…" Trina started, but was all but pushed out of the room.
Trina went downstairs, got herself a glass of sparkling cider, and toasted the new year. About five minutes later, she found Beck and some Nothridge scank, having kissed in the new year. 'And I was willing to let him…' Trina edited herself, because she didn't want to think about the betrayal Beck had wrought.
Andre had found his girl more than willing to make out once the ball dropped, and Cat had found Robbie, kissed him, then hid away to sort her own feelings out. "So, Tori and Jade, huh?" A bush seemed to ask, letting Trina know where the petite girl was hiding.
"What makes you think…" Trina started, only to hesitate. "How did you know?"
"Both girls are missing, and you're way evasive, meaning you found them, probably in that bonus room you guys have down there, and they were doing adult type stuff, maybe even kissing with tongue." Cat said.
"I think they were using tongue, yes." Trina nodded. "Best guess, Tori seduced Jade."
"Yea, should have seen that one coming." Cat lamented. "Tori was saying she'd make any sacrifice to protect Beck from falling back with Jade, since they're so bad for each other. Kinda had us a fight about that. Just glad her plan will help Jadey, cause I don't know how to move forward from this if they're not a couple now."
"Tori's not the kind to just use someone…" Trina said, even as her patience was rewarded with the two girls trying to casually walk in from the garage area, wishing people happy new years. "Not even trying to hide it."
"Not true, they cleaned up." The Cat Bush said. "Just, not bothering to hide it from those who'll need to know soon. You, me, and your parents. Who do you think they'll tell first?"
David and Holly had descended the stairs to check on the party, and allowed themselves to be pulled to the side by their youngest. "Parents first." Trina said, but she was only partially right.
"So, Cat, you kissed Robbie at midnight." Jade asked the bush. "Or did things progress further?"
"WE just kissed." Cat accused.
"Yea, Vega kinda surprised me, and once the dust settled…"
"Welcome to the family." Trina said. "Or do you think, for one moment, after working that hard to isolate you, Tori was just gonna let you go?"
"Not stupid, figured out the extent of her plan while recovering." Jade said. "Dangerous gambit, getting me mad to seduce me. Still, kinda owe her now, so…" The pale girl sat down next to Trina, and toasted the old year. "To the past, and all the seeds that will grow from our experiences."
"To the future, and all the things we will accomplish." Trina added.
"And to Jadey finding a way to make you a star, cause you're Tori's sister, and if anyone can find a way, it's my Jadey." Cat added. "Wait, I need a drink…"
Jade absentmindedly handed the bush a drink. "And don't call me Jadey…"

Happy new years. This was, I don't know, just something I wrote to celebrate the end of one year, and the beginning of the next.
