In the evening, Gumball just returned home while Anais was sitting in front of the TV, watching Daisy the Donkey.

"Oh hey, where have you been all day?" asked Anais, as she saw her brother coming through the door, looking exhausted.

"Hey, sis. I was hanging out with Tina at her place. I actually wanted to come home earlier, but I forgot how long the way from the junkyard until home is" Gumball answered her.

"Oh, you were with Tina? That's funny. Jamie and I were just talking about her today, while we were in town." Anais informed him.

"You did? Ha, what a coincidence. Tina and I were talking about Jamie." replied Gumball.

"It wasn't by any chance about how they had a falling out and aren't friends anymore now?" asked Anais curiously.

"Yes. Yes, it was. How did you know that?" wondered Gumball.

"Because that's what I've been talking about with Jamie. Unfortunately she doesn't want to do anything about it to fix their relationship" answered Anais.

"Yeah, same with Tina." Gumball replied.

"Still pretty weird that we both found out about it in different situations at the same day. Almost as if some higher power that is controlling us wanted us to do something about it." Anais thought out loud.

"You know what? Maybe we should do something about it. If they aren't going to fix their broken friendship it's up to us as their friends to do it for them!" Gumball confidently called out.

"Well, that won't be easy. They don't even want to talk to each other anymore" Anais sadly pointed out.

"Then what if we put them into a situation where they have to talk to each other?" Gumball suggested with a grin on his face.

Anais was more skeptical however. "Are you sure that's a good idea? Sounded like their last meeting wasn't exactly very friendly."

"Of course I'm sure. The moment they see each other again they realize how much they missed each other and want to be friends again" Gumball optimistically thought, before continuing.

"And I know exactly how to initiate it."

On another day Gumball and Tina were walking through the streets.

"Uh, are you sure it's a good idea to walk into town? I'm not exactly sure what to do there considering I don't even fit into most buildings. Except for the school somehow. And I don't even understand how that works" Tina said.

"Don't worry. We're gonna have plenty of fun. I'm sure of it" Gumball replied, while wearing a knowing expression on his face.

A bit further into town Anais and Jamie were walking together in the opposite direction.

"I thought we wanted to go to the mall. That's not the way there" Jamie noticed.

"Oh no, it's a short cut I wanted to show you. We'll be there in no time" Anais informed her.

Eventually the two groups met each other in the middle. Gumball and Anais acted surprised while Tina and Jamie actually were.

"Anais? Jamie? Wow, what a coincidence that we are meeting you here. I didn't expect that at all." Gumball said in all too obvious tone, that fortunately went unnoticed by the two girls, who were focusing on each other.

"Well, yes. Especially for you that must be quite the surprise" said Anais while looking at Jamie and Tina. "Oh then, now that we are already all here, maybe there is something you have to say to each other".

Gumball and Anais walked a few steps back, while Tina and Jamie awkwardly approached each other.

"Um… hey. It's been a while." Jamie started, while scratching her head.

"Yeah. Good to see you I guess." replied Tina, before continuing after a long pause "Listen, I know things between us have been difficult and I think an apology is due".

"You're right. It really is" Jamie agreed with a smile.

"This is working out great" Anais whispered to her brother, while giving him a thumbs up.

"Alright then, let's hear it." Jamie continued.

"… I meant you should apologize to me" Tina responded, while getting slightly irritated.

"Me? What for? You were the one who tried to change my lifestyle and yelled at me last time". answered Jamie, who was now getting angry.

"You were the one who couldn't see her lifestyle was bad and started insulting me" Tina hissed back, now getting angry too.

"Well if I did then maybe you deserved it!" Jaime now screamed at her former friend.

"I'm starting to think you deserve to see the bottom of my foot a bit closer!" Tina threatened the other girl, while getting in her face.

"Then bring it on, Lizard Breath!" Jamie challenged her back.

"Um, this is slowly going downhill." Anais worriedly said to her brother.

"Nah, they just have a lot to get out of their system. The fighting is all part of the healing process" Gumball replied, still confident about this.

The fight between Tina and Jamie now started to get physical and they were engaged in a fight cloud. Now Gumball also started to get worried.

"Well, I was wrong. This isn't slowly going downhill. It's hitting rock bottom at full throttle." Anais sarcastically remarked.

"Should we try to separate them?" Gumball asked his sister.

Suddenly the fighting got so intense than an explosion happened in front of them.

"Maybe we should just let them handle this themselves." Anais replied, while slowly walking backwards alongside her brother, before they turned and straight up ran away.

"That could have gone better. What a shame. I thought if they made up all 4 of us could hang out together. You know, the two of us, two bullies we managed to befriend. What should we do?" Anais asked, while they were away from the fight and now walking at a normal pace again.

"We could invite Darwin and Julius to join us as well next time. Then it would be a real party!" Gumball naively suggested.

"Eh… maybe not. But since you already mentioned Julius, I'm getting another really good idea how we could save their friendship." Anais said with a devilish smile.
