Chapter 37: Supergirl:

Nancy's POV:

Strange things were happening. Cars were driving up buildings, trees were exploding, and cats and dogs were living together. Yep, it was a weird day. All that's missing was a fish walking on land... oh, wait, there it is. "Hey," says the fish.

It's official, it's been weird.

. . .

I was then at Pop's, and everyone was acting like an animal... then they became animals.

"Confusing, isn't it?" I looked and it was Supergirl, Superman's cousin. "Nancy Drew, right?"

. . .

We then talked. "So, was it that mixed up guy," I asked.

"Worst, it was Nyxlygsptlnz," says Supergirl. I stared. "Let's just call her Nyxly. Anyway, she seeks the Allstone Totems and if she gets her hands on them, total chaos."

"So, why is she messing with Riverdale," I asked.

"Because, they just happen to be hidden here," says Supergirl.

"Are they anything like the Infinity Stones I read about," I asked.

"Kind of," says Supergirl, "they hold the powers of Courage, Humanity, Hope, Dream, Love, Truth, and Destiny."

"You forgot Knowlege, Friendship, Sincerity, Reliability, and Light," I joked.

"Nyxly already has Courage, Humanity, Hope, and Dream," says Supergirl, "and love can only appear to someone who feels love, so we have to find Truth and Destiny before she does."

"Wait, you want my help," I asked, "usually with you Justice Leaguers, I have to convince you."

"Yeah, but you helped Green Arrow, Batwoman, Flash, Superman, Black Lightning, and Martian Manhunter. It only makes sense for you to help me out."

"Cool," I said, "so, any idea where Truth and Destiny could be?"

"Yeah, it's buried in a grave," says Supergirl, "does the name Dead Lucy mean anything to you?"

This is gonna be awkward.

"Why ahm I a skunk," asks Odette.

. . .

Supergirl and I were at the graveyard.

"So, your mother was killed by this Blossom guy, and you were adopted by the Drews, and your real Mother's ghost has been haunting this town," asks Supergirl.

"Crazy, right," I asked.

"Actually, I would kill to see the ghosts of my people," says Supergirl.

We found the grave. "Mom," I said, "if you can hear me, could we check your grave for a magic totem from the fifth dimension? I promise we will refill the hole."

Then two shovels appear in front of us. "Helpful," says Supergirl.

We then dig up the grave and get out the Truth Totem.

"We got it," I said.

"Careful," says Supergirl, "it can make you tell the truth!"

"What?" I touched it. "I pick my nose when no one's looking!" None of you were supposed to read that. I then quickly hand it to Supergirl.

"I knew you were a fool," says Supergirl. She then changes.

"Nyxly," I said.

"Thank you for finding the Truth Totem for me," says Nyxkly, "now I just need to find the Destiny Totem!" She then disappears.

. . .

I messed up big time. After I refilled the hole, I needed to think of something. Then Supergirl came.

"Hey, this weird ghost made me come down here," says Supergirl.

"Wait, are you the real Supergirl," I asked.

"You met Nyxly, didn't you," asks Supergirl.

"YYYeeeaaahhh aaannnddd... I-I-I kkkiiinnnddd ooofff hhheeelllpppeeeddd hhheeerrr... gggeeettt ttthhheee TTTrrruuuttthhh TTTooottteeemmm," I said.

"Great, now we just need to find the Destiny Totem," says Supergirl.

"Wait, how do I know you are Supergirl," I asked.

"Because Nyxly could not get this." She holds up a totem. "The Love Totem. It came to me when I met this really great guy."

"That's convincing," I said, "Supergirl, I messed up, but I can help you."

"You're the one who helped other members of the League, right?"

"Yeah."

"Nyxly is from the Fifth Dimension," says Supergirl, "so this won't be easy."

"You can trust me," I said.

"Alright, but we have to find the Destiny Totem."

. . .

We were at Pop's.

"You bettair find a way to turn my hahst bahck to nahrmahl! Who hahs evair heard of a skunk weeth a french ahccent ahnyway? Zat ees just nahnsense!"

"Is she always this annoying," asks Supergirl.

"So, this is where the other totems are," I asked.

"Yep, these are the places," says Supergirl.

I then realized something. "The Truth Totem was at my Mom's grave. I spent a long time trying to find out the truth about her death. The Dream Totem was in the place where Betty's dream came true and Archie picked her over Veronica, the Courage Totem was in a place where I blew up the Scarecrow and that takes courage, the Hope Totem was in a place where my crew and I got our hope back and we freed ourselves from the Aglaeca..."

"Sure, breeng zat up ahgain."

"Before the Love Totem left Nyxly and appeared to you, it was in one of Riverdale's most romantic spots, the Humanity Totem was at Betty's house. She has plenty of humanity."

"I get what you're saying," says Supergirl, "so the Destiny Totem has to be in a place that represents destiny... where are we going to find that?"

. . .

"Right this way, Ladies," says Salem as he was guiding us to the spot where Sabrina, Betty, and Veronica are going to do their witch thing.

"And Nyxly didn't turn him to a cat," asks Supergirl.

"No, zat wahs me," says Odette.

"Not so funny when it happens to you, is it, Demon," asks Salem.

"Oh, shut up," says Odette.

"Here," says Salem, "this is where the Triangle will perform the spell that should vanquish the evil that is to come."

And the Destiny Stone was right there.

"Don't you know, Supergirl," says Nyxly, "some other blonde superheroine's already doin the talking black cat companion thing?" Nyxly shows up.

"Get the Totem," says Supergirl, "I'll handle Nyxly!"

Supergirl then fights Nyxly, but Nyxly was a fifth dimensional imp with the power of most totems and Supergirl only had one. I then ran towards the destiny totem, and I had a weird vision, but I couldn't figure it out. Supergirl then falls to the ground.

"Give me the totem," says Nyxly.

I then had an idea. I walked over to her. "Here," I said. But just as Nyxly was about to, I throw the Destiny Totem and it hits Odette's tail, causing her to spray skunk smell on Nyxly.

"The smell," says Nyxly.

I then took her totems. Supergirl and I then used all seven totems to turn Nyxly to stone.

. . .

Nyxly is now decoration for the park.

"This was all because of you," says Supergirl.

"I'm just glad I'm not a skunk anymore," says George.

"Well, I gotta go," says Supergirl, "my boyfriend might start to worry about me."

"Come by anytime," I said. Supergirl then flies off.

"How many superheroes are going to visit," asks Ned.

"Who knows," I said.

Kara Zor-El/Kara Danvers/Supergirl's boyfriend is Marcus Sun AKA Monkey Prince. In the next chapter, Nancy meets the White Canary who's... Pregnant... with her wife's child...?
