"Babe? Is that you?"

Despite the voice coming from behind a space helmet, she couldn't miss the only person who ever addressed her that way.

"Zyma? Is this real?"

It took him a moment to respond.

"I don't know. How did you get here?"

She wasn't sure where to begin. She had lost him since the time portal battle. The events that happened during that battle had been erased from her memory, and she was uncertain of his fate.

"It's been a long time since we parted. What do you remember?" she asked.

Her words seemed to startle him. He raised his Shurikens and began to move, assessing their surroundings, seemingly prepared to fight.

"Z... Tell me, how did you get here?" she began to move with him.

"Where is our daughter?"

His question struck a painful memory.

"I lost her. You were there. Don't you remember?"

"No!" he immediately shouted back.

"Z… What's going on? Tell me…"

"This isn't real. Prepare to die!"

He yelled, then threw a Shuriken at her. She dodged, and lost hope. This wasn't him. He would never hurt her. She convinced herself that he was just another illusion by Hyne.

Ironically, I'm weak against Holy... she remembered his words before they parted at the Fire Cavern.

She had grown much stronger. She wouldn't hide away and dodge his attacks as she used to. She knew his weaknesses. With her Red Scorpion whipping continuously to keep him at bay, she released her unlimited stock of light magic.

"Holy!"

He was startled by her attack and summoned more flying weapons and threw them at her. But she dodged them easily with her whip and even returned some with Telekinesis.

After a few more Holy spells, she knew even the most bulky beast wouldn't have any HP left. He looked defeated, then glanced at her on his knees.

"You can't be her. You're too strong and merciless. Well fought mimicking her moves, but our game ends here."

He mumbled. Then he stood up with an aura of dark green color around him then concentrated around his arms and feet.

"Hell's Dance!"

She had never seen this move from him before. But she needed no explanation to understand it was his ultimate Limit Break.

She desperately looked for a hiding spot, as no protection spells were available. She needed a solution quickly. It would be game over if he reached her.

"Quezacotl!"

She summoned her trusted Guardian Force, who shielded her from him.

"Thunderstorm! Now!" she commanded.

But as the bird tilted its head back and was about to release its powerful strike, its enormous, bright body was slashed to pieces by cold blades.

"No!"

She watched her GF diminish in an instant and ran away. The space behind her lit up, blinding her eyes. Quezacotl shrieked. Her junction device signaled a change in her status - Thunder, Thundara, and Thundaga were gone.

I'm sorry, Quezacotl. Our journey ends here.

She ran, and ran, and ran.

Her HP was 2500/8000. The base stats powered by Hyne's score stayed the same, but the boost from unlimited magic was no longer there. Her Duo Limit Break could no longer be performed with Quezacotl.

She looked at her junction. Only high-level offensive magic remained: Holy, Flare, Meteor, and Ultima.

If no healing magic was available to his illusion, it meant she could finish it with any magic.

If he didn't have any help.

"There she is!"

The growling voice and heavy footsteps approached her. Acma was frightened at the scene. There he was, climbing on his mother's back.

"Basilisk?"

She stepped back to keep her distance. They didn't answer her, but Zyma murmured something to his mom.

"She's not from our world. Kill her and go home, son," Basilisk said.

He hesitated.

"Very well. Let me take care of it. If you don't kill her, she'll do it first."

Basilisk spread its giant wings and released its powerful spell that once helped tipping the battle with her twin sister.

Meteor.

Not wasting any moment, Acma ran away from the projectile attacks. The comet objects dropping down from above were massive and could smash her in one strike. But her Telekinesis was strong enough to deflect them.

After one minute of running and dodging, Acma sensed the shower of meteors had stopped. She retaliated by casting Holy back at them. Deep down, she found relief that this would not be the final blow against Zyma. She never wanted to kill him again.

"She's not your wife," Acma heard Basilisk growl as the powerful GF covered her son away from Acma's otherwise deadly attack.

"If you don't kill her, we'll both die and can't go home."

Wife? Other world? Acma was confused, but it was clear that Zyma had made up his mind.

"Hell's Dance!"

She released her whip around her and got her Telekinesis ready as Zyma's figure disappeared into the dark.

"Sensei, what's your Limit Break?"

"You don't want to know."

"Why?"

"If I ever have to use it, you must be dead."

He wasn't joking that time.

Soon, he closed in on her small figure. His left hand pressed on her back, pushing her chest towards his blade, which pierced through her spacesuit. Defenseless, she used Telekinesis to push the blade away. He quickly released his grip from the blade, then retrieved another from his sheath and pressed on her again.

She froze.

Take my life, Z... I don't want to owe you one.

Hyne, take my Holy…
