Summer was awfully annoying in the rural areas of Kyoto, bugs, curses and the unbearable heat and humidity. That was the reality for a 9 year old Enoki, the young boy dragged his feet along the dirt ground, kicking the small group of pebbles as he approached the small wooden house.
His father had built it himself, in all honesty, Enoki preferred his father over his mother, but he couldn't bring himself to show no emotion to her. His father had told him stories of how she was a runaway from some sort of evil clan, her hand having been forced into an arranged marriage. And once his father and mother had met, they wanted to make a new future, nothing connected to the clan his mother came from or the overbearing city life his father came from.
So together they built the wooden house, later convincing, birthing and raising Enoki in the same wooden house. He was sure it was something he would understand in the future but Enoki couldn't understand why his parents would want to be so… remote. He could only assume he would understand some day in the future when he fell in love with a woman of his own.
Arriving at the house Enoki walked up the stairs to the wooden porch, opening the door as he stepped inside. "Dad, Mom, I'm home," he sighed, kicking his shoes off as he dumped his bag at the door. Immediately freezing at the sight of blood smeared across the wooden walls and carpet. "Mom?! Dad?!" Enoki yelled, running into the kitchen as he froze, watching as his mother straddled the bleeding and bruised corpse of his father, holding a bloody knife in her hand, holding it over his chest as she repeatedly stabbed into his chest, his father's body twitching and convulsing, blood spilling from his mouth.
"Have… have to save you from father…"
Enoki watched in horror, his eyes shaking his fear, stepping back, tears welling in eyes as trembled, tripping over as his mother immediately turned around, his eyes locking with her son's as she got off her husband's body, slowly crawling towards Enoki. "Kagetora… my sweet baby… I… I have to save you from father," she stammered, repeating herself, her voice a distant echo of the one that Enoki heard so often getting home from school.
"Mom? Wh… what did you do? What did you do to dad?" Enoki stammered, crawling back as she began crawling off of her deceased husband, the bloody knife still in her hand.
"It's gonna be okay baby… father's never gonna hurt you again… mommy promises," She cooed, crawling towards Enoki at a frightening speed, slashing at him aimlessly. Enoki kicking his mother away as he got up, immediately tripping and slamming against the floor again as his mother tugged at his ankle.
"MOM!!! LET GO OF ME!!! PLEASE!!!" Enoki screamed, his mother slashing open a deep wound on his hand, blood immediately oozing from the deep cut, screaming in pain Enoki repeatedly kicked his mother in the face in a desperate attempt to escape.
Enoki's mother spat back, throwing violent fist after fist at the young boy, covering his face, his hands trembling in fear and anger, and at that moment, Kagetora Enoki became aware of his cursed energy.
Unlocking his cursed technique.
A stream of blood was shot from Enoki's gushing wound, piercing his mother directly in the eye, the disgust sound of wet flesh and blood as her eyeball was flung out from the socket, dropping the knife as she began screaming in agony.
Seeing the chance to escape, Enoki ran, ignoring the screams and pool of blood that was formed by the blood leaking from her eye.

It took at least an hour for the police to arrive, and of course, they did nothing. It took another 3 hours before somebody had bothered to show up, a man, dark grey hair, a pencil thin moustache and the smell of booze encapsulating the man.
"Naobito Zenin."
Enoki looked up, staring down the man who looked down at him, a smug smile on his face. "You must be the heir correct?"
Enoki looked down, not bothering to keep eye contact with Naobito, laughing under his breath. "How weak, yeah, you'll be sold off in good enough time," Naobito stated, playing with his moustache.
"Sold?" Enoki asked.
"You'll be sold to the Kamo clan soon enough, the same clan your mother came from."
"What's happening to her?"
"She'll be lined up for execution, or at least I think so," Naobito said, yawning. "I.. I don't really care! And if you don't get strong soon enough, something tells me you'll be joining her!"
Enoki snarled, his grasp tightening around the blanket he had been given from the police. "I'm.. going to kill you."
Naobito burst out into laughter, wiping tears from his eyes. "Good one kid! You've certainly got spirit," he said. "But it's gonna take more than that," Naobito added, walking up to the car he had arrived in. "I'd start training if I was you."
Enoki watched as the car holding Naobito drove away, his hatred for non-sorcerers was a flame sparked inside him after slaughtering the village with Suguru Geto, but his hatred for the older generation of the Jujutsu Society was something that had been burning inside him for a long time.
—
It had been three weeks since Enoki went home to that horrible sight. He had ransacked his home before fleeing to Tokyo, it had been hard, Enoki was slowly approaching the last of the yen that he had taken, his hands and arms having been wrapped up in bandages to stop the self-inflicted bleeding. Slowly Enoki went through his remaining yen, sighing as he slipped the notes into his pocket, stopping as he turned around, looking at the man who stood behind him.
"Kagetora Enoki, right?"
"What do you want, geezer?"
"Gah?" The buzz cut man gagged, putting a hand on his almost completely bald head. "My name is Masamichi Yaga, an upcoming teacher at Jujutsu Technical High School," he said. "As a teacher at Jujutsu High, I'm one of a few people who get inside information of the three big clans of the Jujutsu Society, and at the current moment, all the talk is you."
"You're with them aren't you?" Enoki asked, curling his hand into a fist. "I ain't going."
"I'm not, I promise," Yaga said. "Do you understand what the current situation is?"
"Yeah… the Kamo Clan wants to buy me, make me their property? And I'm assuming the Kamo clan is one of the big three clans you're talking about?"
Yaga nodded. "You understand they'll find you soon enough, and even if they don't, those injuries will catch up to you and finish you off."
Embarrassed, Enoki looked at the blood that bled through the white bandages. "I'm not going to become somebody's property, I'd rather bleed to death."
"Or there's another option," Yaga said. "You come back with me to Jujutsu High, you'll only be obliged to do two things, start going to Jujutsu high once you're of age, and having an annual visit to the Kamo estate."
Raising his eyebrow, Enoki stepped closer to Yaga. "Those are the only terms?"
"Of course, you'll live on campus, at least three meals a day, a personal trainer to train your body and your technique, and hey, I completely understand if you wouldn't want to visit the Kamo clan, but when we negotiated with them, we found out they were willing to pay you for the annual visit, meaning all you have to do is go to the estate, sit down and listening to the old geezers talk, and they'll pay a pretty price," Yaga smirked.
"H… how much?"
"Probably the same amount as a celebrity."
Enoki's eyes widened, it was a promising offer, but the memories of his house infected his mind. "I… can you do one thing for me?"
"What do you need?"
"My dad, his body is still in that house, do you think, do you think a funeral could be held for him? Please."
Yaga's eyes softened. "We've had his body for a while now, we were waiting to find you to do something, we wanted to be respectful of your wishes."
"Thank you…" Enoki mumbled. "A funeral would be nice."
"Of course," Yaga said, ruffling Enoki's curly hair. "Are you ready to go? Do you need to grab anything?"
"No, I'm ready," Enoki said, as he began walking in front of Yaga.
Yaga watched as the young boy began walking in front of him. "Hey… Kagetora…"
"Kagetora…"
——————
"Kagetora!!!"
Enoki slowly nodded back to consciousness, looking down at Nanako and Mimiko. "Girls. Last name please," Enoki sighed.
"Why didn't you tell us you were bringing a celebrity here?" Nanako asked, Mimiko standing to the side.
"Why would it matter?" Enoki asked, Mimiko walking up to Enoki as she passed him her hair brush, turning around as Enoki began brushing her hair.
"Why?! So I could've been prepared!!! She's a famous celebrity, I wanted her autograph!!!" Nanako said, impatiently stamping her feet watching as Enoki brushed the hair of her sister.
"Why does that matter? You can still ask?" Enoki said, running the brush through Mimiko's hair.
"There's no point if I haven't watched any of her movies!" Nanako pouted.
"I… I think you're a bit too young to see some of her movies," Enoki added.
"But you watched them when you were my age!!!" Nanako snapped back.
"I did a lot of things I shouldn't have when I was your age," Enoki said.
"Like what?"
"You know I don't like talking about that, Nanako."
"I- I'm sorry," Nanako apologised, looking down in shame as Enoki finished brushing Mimiko's hair.
"It's not a problem," Enoki said, walking over to Nanako, ruffling her hair. "And decides, it's not even technically Jennifer Tilly, I could introduce you to her if you want?"
Nanako nodded.
"I'll do that for you."
"Oh, Kagetora!!!" Geto cooed, walking into the room. "Ahhh girls, how are we today?"
Immediately the two girls ran over to Geto, both hugging a different side of Geto. "Geto!!!!!!" The two squealed, hugging his sides tightly.
"I'll take that as good," Geto chuckled, patting the girls on their heads as he looked up at Enoki. "I have to borrow Kagetora, I hope you two don't mind."
"That's fine," Nanako said, letting go of Geto as Enoki walked up to them. "You promise to introduce me to her?"
"I promise," Enoki smiled.
Walking to the door, Enoki gave a thumbs up to Nanako as he walked out of the room, closing the door behind him. "What can I do for you?" Enoki asked, as he slowly began walking down the hallway with Geto.
"Mrs. Valentine requested you, she has a favour she'd like you to do."
"Me? Why couldn't have you done it?"
"She requested for you to have completed it," Geto shrugged. "I guess she likes you~"
Enoki scoffed, rolling his eyes as they approached her room. Even if she had only been here for three days, she had customised it majorly. A large TV sitting at one end of the room, her large pink and fluffy bed on the side, a cabinet of wine and empty glasses sitting on next to the bed as Tiffany sat on the end of her bed, a glass of wine and a cigarette in her hands as she watched a Jennifer Tilly movie on the large TV.
"I- How?" Enoki gasped, looking at the drastic change of her room.
"No idea," Geto shrugged once more, stumped at how she had managed to change it so much in such a short amount of time. "Anyway! Enjoy, I'll be off making sure we still have stable funding," Geto said, waving a hand over his shoulder as he walked away.
"There's only one thing in this world that will keep that man happy."
Sighing, Enoki stepped into Tiffany's room, awkwardly stepping down the small stairs that led down to her room. "Tiffany, Suguru told me you needed me?"
Tiffany's face lit up hearing Enoki's voice, pausing the film as she got up from her bed. "Ahhh, sweetface!" She chimed, pulling Enoki into a weirdly intimate hug, kissing him on the cheek. "Please, take a seat, would you like a drink?"
Enoki watched as Tiffany moved with a kick in her step, moving comfortably in her baggy and flour themed night gown. "No thank you, I think it's a bit too early to be drinking."
"Oh please! It's never too early for a drink," Tiffany chuckled, filling her almost empty glass back up to the brim with the red beverage, watching as it swished around in the glass. "But please, take a seat!"
Looking around Enoki came to the dread realisation of the only place he could sit, awkwardly sitting down on Tiffany's bed, almost getting eaten whole by how soft the mattress was as Tiffany sat down next to him, crossing her legs as she took a sip of her wine. "Well, before I ask for what I'm about to ask, it really has been lovely here, but I've been thinking about the family aspect you mentioned…" Tiffany went silent for a second, swirling her finger around in the wine, avoiding eye contact. "My darling children, Glen and Glenda, they're currently staying with a couple of Jennifer's co-stars at one of the houses I rented out for them, and it truly would mean the world to me… if it would be possible for you to go get them for me?"
"That's what you wanted to ask me?"
"It's silly I know, and I would've gone to retrieve them myself but… Jennifer had a fondness for sleeping with her co-stars," Tiffany said, rolling her eyes. "I really never could understand girls like that, sleeping around with multiple people, if you sleep with somebody… it should be somebody you love," Tiffany explained, withdrawing her finger from the wine as she sucked the remnants off her finger, nibbling on her nail slightly as kept eye contact with Enoki, her other hand placing her glass down as she placed her hand softly onto his cheek.
A shade of pink crossed his cheeks. "I-"
"But those are just my beliefs! You can't expect a lady and a tramp to share the same views," Tiffany giggled, breaking the moment between the two as she removed her hand from Enoki's cheek, standing up as she grabbed her glass and the TV remote. "And of course kill them as you please, they're amazing actors but they won't contribute much in this new world you're hoping to build, as long as my babies are safe, that's all that matters!"
Instinctively, Enoki reached up and put a hand on his cheek, mimicking how Tiffany had done it mere moments before. "Snap out of it! She's like 20 years old then you, you wouldn't stand a chance!"
"Of course," Enoki said, standing up from her bed, his legs trembling. God, he was a mess.
"Oh, and one more thing Kagetora!!!" Tiffany called out. "In the attic, there should be a bird cage covered by a cloth, be the darling you are and bring that along please?" Tiffany cooed, winking at him as she resumed her film.
"Right…" Enoki stammered, walking to the exit of her room, turning a corner so that he was out of view, his face almost completely red, legs trembling.
"Get a grip-"
"Does somebody have a new friend?" Geto teased, leaning against the wall, having eavesdropped on the entire conversation, smirking smugly.
"Try not to let this place burn down while I'm gone, I should be back tonight," Enoki said, rolling his shoulders.
"Where are you going?" Geto asked.
"Off to do my new friend a favour," Enoki teased smugly, walking past Geto as he gave him a wink.

The clicks and clacks of Ui UI's pilgrim shoes filled the room, the already awkward silence worsened by the young boy seemingly being unable to read the room. Placing Mei Mei's cloth wrapped axe onto the luscious red couch, walking back over to Mei Mei who sat on the singular couch. "Tea?" Ui Ui asked his sister.
"I'm fine Ui Ui, perhaps our hosts would like something?" Mei Mei suggested, resting her head on her fist.
To her left sat Nica, her injuries tended to as she wrapped herself in a white blanket, on the couch across from the sat Gina Gershon, Joe Pantoliano and Sutton Stracke, and on the separated couch sat Glen and Glenda, the two adolescent teenagers sitting down nervously next to one another, knowing the woman across from them held some sort of information on their mother.
"We're fine," Glen said, their long orange hair dropping down past their shoulders, the complete opposite to Glenda's buzz cut. "We just wanna know what happened to our Mom."
"I suppose I can't blame you, Ui Ui, the files please," Mei Mei asked, holding her hand out as Ui Ui pulled a file from the bag they had bought with them, running them over to Mei Mei. "Your mother was last seen at Harrogate Psychiatric Hospital, one of the only three survivors to walk out of the hospital after the slaughter of approximately 20 people inside the facility."
"What?!"
Gina rushed over, putting an arm around Glen, clearly distraught by the information. "Hey, look I don't know what you're implying lady, but Jennifer isn't the type of person to lose her screws and become some sort of… murderer!" Gina protested.
"I believe we've run into a misunderstanding," Mei Mei hummed. "Miss Tilly wasn't the source of the murder-"
"He was…" Nica mumbled, breaking her silence as the others of the eyes in the room finally drew attention to her.
"He?"
"Kagetora Enoki," Mei Mei answered. "A jujutsu sorcerer, my junior actually, he went rogue during his last year enrolled in Jujutsu High along with another one of his classmates, Suguru Geto."
"So you're telling me you've known this guy's been on the loose this entire time and you've done what? Nothing?" Joe asked, the tone of attitude in his voice unappreciated by Ui Ui.
"Watch your tone around my sister, you buffoon!" Ui Ui barked, his tone catching the adults off guard.
"You mind watching how your kid speaks," Gina scolded, awkwardly staring down at Ui Ui.
"I apologise, I understand you all must be in a tense mood, but I still have plenty of information if you'd like me to share?" Mei Mei said, she sounded completely devoid of emotion, her eyes on the verge of shutting.
"That's the only reason we invited you into this house if I'm correct?" Gina asked.
"At the current moment Enoki isn't the one you should be worried about in regards to your mother's behaviour, we have reason to believe Miss Tilly's body has been hijacked by the soul of another person," Mei Mei said, flicking through the files she rested on her laps. "Particularly the soul of one Tiffany Valentine, she's been on our radar for a while now but no activity has drawn us in, until now that is."
Joe choked on his own breath for a second, before immediately bursting out in laughter. "Seriously? Oh please you might as well leave 'possession'? Tiffany Valentine? What the hell are you rambling on about?"
"Please sir, I assure you I'm telling you all the truth, I wouldn't lie about something so major, body possession and soul manipulation is something extraordinary and extremely dangerous, if somebody like that is working with Enoki, and more importantly Geto, many non-sorcerers and innocent people could be put in danger," Mei Mei said, her eyes looking up to stare directly at Joe, her brown eyes finally making solid eye contact with somebody in the room since the moment she entered.
"How hurtful Mei, and here I was thinking I was one of your favourite underclassmen."
The presence of the room shifted, Enoki stood behind Mei Mei's couch, resting his hand on the back of her couch
"He got in here without me noticing!!!"
Without a second of hesitation Mei Mei sprung into action, grabbing onto her axe, swinging it at Enoki, the cloth it was once wrapped in flying into the air.
Effortlessly Enoki stepped back, dodging the axe mere centimetres from his face. "Oh what's this?" Enoki chuckled, running his finger down the sharpened side, not using enough force to cut himself, but enough force to feel how it could've decapitated him within one swing. "Is this compensation for your lacklustre technique?"
"How did you-"
"Geto has his arsenal of curses, teleportation doesn't usually get noticed by crows," Enoki smirked, dodging as Mei Mei swung her axe again, miscalculating as her axe slammed into the tiled floor, lodging it in the crack.
"Shit!!!"
"What's the problem? MEI?!" With a sadistic smile, Enoki slammed his foot down on the wooden handle, causing Mei Mei to stumble back, the weight change throwing her body off.
"Big Sis, watch out!!!"
Taking advantage of her moment of shakiness, Enoki bolted forward, grabbing Mei Mei by the face as he lifted her up, slammed her into the ground, the ceramic tiles around her shattered and caving down around her body. "Aren't you having fun?" Enoki asked, standing up as he looked down at Mei Mei, watching as she groaned in pain, her trembling hand holding onto the wooden stick. "Oh… it's you?" Enoki asked, looking over his shoulder at Nica, like the others in the room completely stunned by his sudden appearance. "I don't think you and I have fully introduced ourselves to one another, Kagetora Enoki."
Dropping down, Enoki kicked the wheelchair out from underneath Nica, sending her flying onto the cold hard tiled floor. "Nica Pierce right?" He asked, Nica struggling in pain on the floor, her eyes glaring with a furious fury at him. "Not like it matters, you're pathetically weak."
"What the hell do you think you're doing?" Gina yelled, standing up as she hid the children behind her.
"Are… you talking to me?" Enoki asked, taking a step forward as he heard struggling, turning around to see Mei Mei struggling to get back up.
"D…don't, please…"
"C'mon, stop me then," Enoki teased. "I'm a strong believer in ladies going first, but the men deserve some love every once and while."
In the blink of an eye, Enoki appeared in front of Joe, grinning widely as he wrapped his left hand around the actor's face. Slamming into the concrete wall, Joe screamed in pain as he began clawing at Enoki's hands, digging his fingernails into Enoki's veiny hands, tearing his delicate skin, blood leaking all over Joe's fingers, and slowly began coating his face. "I wouldn't do that if I was you…"
Smirking, Enoki watched as his blood dripped down Joe's neck. "Crimson Binding."
Joe's head imploded, the blood crushing down around his skull. Slowly chunks of his brain and streams of blood leaked from the few cracks around the tightened and hardened blood, his body flopping to the ground.
"Kids! Run!!!" Gina screamed, tears streaming down her face as she stumbled on the floor, crashing down.
"Don't worry, I have no intention to hurt the children," Enoki said, waving his hand as the hardened blood around Joe's pancaked head flew into his hand, forming an orb. "I'll be right with you Glen and Glenda, but for now…" Enoki stepped up towards Gina, circling his hands around the orb. "Before this happens… I have to say, I was a fan of you in Bound."
Enoki threw the orb into the air, expanding it until it became hollow, the blood stretching into thin sharp wires. With a flick of his hand, the large ball flew down, hitting Gina as it sliced her into multiple large chunks, not having enough time to scream, her life ending the most merciful.
Enoki clapped his hand, flicking it to the side as the blood ball formed back into the orb, before shooting out as a spike, stabbing through the chest of Susan, almost having successfully left the room. "Abandoning children? You somehow managed to make me look righteous."
Enoki turned his head, looking at Ui Ui who watched in complete and utter horror. "Don't flinch," Enoki smirked, stomping his foot on the ground as Ui Ui screamed, running away in the same direction Glen and Glenda did. "Hey! C'mon I wasn't going to hurt y-" Enoki swiftly moved his head out of the way as the top half of Mei Mei's axe was pegged at him, slamming into the wall. "Hey! You almost hit me!"
"Don't touch him," Mei Mei hissed, her legs trembling as she regained her footing.
"Oh please, stop being so dramatic, it's not like I was going to," Enoki scoffed, rolling his eyes as he pulled his phone out, seeing a message from Geto.
Suguru: Hurry or you can organise your own way home
"Anyway Mei, it's been fun," Enoki said, patting her on the shoulder as he walked past her. "Oh yeah, I'd look after Miss Pierce if I was you, wouldn't want another," Enoki began drawing circles on the side of his head, giggling.
"Why?" Mei Mei asked, striking the wooden stick at Enoki, effortlessly dodging it. "Why the kids?"
"It's a mother's natural instinct to want to be with her children, I'm simply retrieving them for her, think of it as a delivery, no harm will be done to the two of them, afterall, you saw it as well, they don't seem to be leaking off any cursed energy," Enoki explained, running his finger down the wooden stick Mei Mei held, avoiding the splinters.
"Oh? So what? They're good enough for the new world you want to build, you lunatic?" She scoffed.
"You make me sound like a bad guy," Enoki chuckled. "Monkey or sorcerer, Tiffany will be a large help, if she needs anything to make herself more comfortable, then we'll oblige."
"Are you sure your obligation isn't just your high school obsession with Jennifer Tilly showing through?" Mei Mei teased
"Okay… yeah okay you can have that one," Enoki sighed. "But in the meantime, I'll be heading back with Glen and Glenda okay!" Enoki cheered, walking out of the room, Mei Mei limping in another direction.
——
"You know I am actually surprised on how the fuck you got out here before I did," Enoki chuckled, exiting the house as he stepped onto the lawn.
"What the hell are you doing?" Glenda screamed, hitting the ground as they watched Mei Mei hold a switchblade to Glen's throat, huffing and puffing.
"What's mommy gonna do when only one of her dear children returns?" Mei Mei asked, pressing the switchblade concerningly closer to their throat.
"Two can play at that game, Mei," Enoki smirked, revealing that he held Ui Ui in a headlock in his arms.
A small flicker of hesitation was evident in Mei Mei's eyes. "Don't fall for it sis, I'll be fine!" Ui Ui screamed, trying to struggle against Enoki's arms.
"Are you serious… this kid barely looks over 10, and here he is sacrificing himself for you Mei… I always knew you had something wrong with you… but this… you're fucking sick."
The hesitation disappeared from Mei Mei's eyes, pressing the blade deeper, a small and tiny cut inflicted on Glen's neck, blood trickling down their neck. "One hand movement, that's all it's gonna take."
Enoki rolled his eyes. "Whatever, guess you've forced my hand," Enoki sighed, letting Ui Ui out from his grip, watching as the young boy gasp for breath as he immediately stomped him down, kicking him in the stomach as Ui Ui went rolling on the grass, gasping and croaking in pain. "C'mon Mei, let's just trade, you get your brother back and I leave with the kids, simple and done, I'm kinda in a hurry."
Mei Mei kept her eyes locked with Enoki's, her hand trembling as she kept the blade pressed against Glen's neck. "Just… a few more seconds."
"C'mon Mei!"
"Just a few more…"
"Don't make me…"
"Keep talking!"
"Do this!"
"Please… just…"
Enoki raised his left hand into the air. "Sorry about this kid…"
"Now!!!"
Mei Mei!
Grade: First Grade
Mei Mei's technique, Black Bird Manipulation, does as the name suggests, allowing her to imbue crows with cursed energy, letting her manipulate multiple crows at the same time from far distances, as well as being able to share vision, making the technique perfect for surveillance. However the cursed technique can also be used for offence, to break the limiters of how much cursed energy a crow can be imbued with, Mei Mei will force the bird to commit sucide, hurling it at a enemy, usually ending as a devastating one-hit finisher, the only man to have ever survived, Satoru Gojo.
However Mei Mei's calculations had been incorrect, as bird strike was activated, Enoki saw the bird hurling itself towards him, immediately coating his hand in a thick layer of hardened blood. Although the bird had hit his hand, completely obliterating it, the damage remained only at his hand. "I suppose this means you can add me to the list of people who survived bird strike, right? Mei?" Enoki teased, steam slowly pouring from his wound, his hand slowly reforming, good as new.
"Reverse Cursed Technique, you were always such a pain…"
Before Mei Mei could make another move, Glenda slammed a metal bat on the back of her hair, the sorcerer already woozy from the damage she suffered against Enoki, fell to the ground unconscious. "Nice stuff!" Enoki chimed in, Glenda immediately rushing to the aid of their sibling, wiping the blood from the small nick made on their neck,
"Big sis!!!" Ui Ui screamed, ignoring the pain as he immediately ran over to his sister, standing in front of her, acting a body block between her and Enoki. "Stay away from her!!!" Ui Ui screamed, Enoki looked down, his expression made out of sadness, confusion and annoyance unreadable to any normal person.
"I'm not gonna kill her kid, calm down," Enoki sighed.
"Don't take another step closer!!! It doesn't matter if you kill me, but I won't let you kill her!!! Big sis is the most important person in the world!!! It doesn't matter if somebody like me dies, but… you can't kill her!!!" Ui Ui yelled, his voice caught in his throat and he coughed and gasped for air.
Enoki stared down, it wasn't confusing, it wasn't annoying, it was just sad. "You poor thing, what has she done to you?"
Not giving it another moment of thought, Enoki turned around, heading back over to Glen and Glenda, crouching down to their level, resting his hand on his leg. "I'm Kagetora Enoki, it's nice to finally be able to talk to you two."
"You killed them… why?" Glen stammered, it was clear both them and Glenda were scared, terrified, the man in front of them had slaughter the three people they call 'Aunts' and 'Uncle' so easily.
"I have my reasons, but I don't want to get into an ethical dispute at the moment. I came here to retrieve you two, your mom asked me for a favour, she misses you two."
"Mom?" The two asked simultaneously.
Enoki nodded.
"But… she… the slaughter at that hospital, she didn't have?"
"No, she didn't have anything to do with it," Enoki said. "It was me, I take full responsibility."
"And… about her being possessed?" Glenda cut in.
"It's true, the body of your mother does belong to Jennifer Tilly, but the soul inside of her, the woman you know is Tiffany Valentine. But Tiffany has been in possession of Jennifer's body since you were born, it isn't my place to explain the situation, but… the woman you've known as your mother for your entire life is the same woman who is waiting to see you again," Enoki explained.
"I… and you're not gonna hurt us… are you?" Glen stammered
"I would never, I promise," Enoki said, placing a hand to his chest.
Slowly tears began to stream down Glen's face, the mascara underneath their eyes smudging down their cheeks. "I… I just wanna see Mom again," they sobbed, covering their eyes.
Reluctantly, the two nodded, Enoki smiling as he got up. "Follow me, I just have to grab something from the house."
"What about those two?" Glenda asked, looking back at Mei Mei and Ui Ui.
"We'll just leave 'em here, more sorcerers will show up to save them soon enough," Enoki shrugged, walking back towards the house as the two children followed him.
Entering the house again, Enoki made his way into the attic. Opening the door Enoki covered his mouth, coughing as he walked into the dust filled room, posters of the movies Jennifer had been in, awards Jennifer had won, and the main event, a large birdcage sitting on table, a cloth resting over the top of it. As he picked it up, snores were heard from inside the cage, feminine ones. "Is that…?"
—————
"We're back!!" Enoki chimed, holding the birdcage in his left hand.
"Took you long enough," Geto scoffed, leaning against the wall.
"Shut up," Enoki groaned, Glen and Glenda walking in behind him.
"Glen!!! Glenda!!!" Tiffany cheered, turning the corner as she ran towards them, the two children running past Enoki, both falling into their mother's arms, Tiffany hugging them as if she was never going to see them again.
"Mom!!!" The two sobbed, burrowing themselves into Tiffany's arms.
"Oh my sweet, sweet babies…" Tiffany whimpered, her voice croaking as she stroking the back of her children's heads, looking up at Enoki. "Thank you…"
"It's fine, really," Enoki said.
"Aren't you just the sweetest?" Geto smiled.
"I know somebody else who likes sweets."
"You're pushing it now," Geto snarled, Enoki giggling, a cheeky grin spread across his face.
"Mom, we need to talk," Glenda said, pulling away from their mother's arm.
"Of course, let's get you two a room set up while we talk," Tiffany said, turning around as she walked Glen and Glenda away towards her room.
"We should let them talk in peace."
"No way! Really?" Enoki scoffed sarcastically, placing the birdcage down on the floor.
"What's that?" Geto asked, tilting his head as Enoki walked past him.
"I'll ask once Tiffany's done."
"Where are you going?" Geto asked, watching as Enoki took off his trench coat, sighing.
"To blow off some steam."
——————
The room shook around them, Enoki's hand having caved a small crater in the concrete wall. Sweat dripping down Enoki's face, huffing and puffing as he removed his head from the crater in the wall, dropping to his knees as he cupped his face, wiping away the dripping sweat. "I shouldn't have left the kid there…"
"There wasn't anything else you could've done, the last thing we would've wanted to do was get in the crosshairs of jujutsu high, and decides… neither of us could've predicted what Mei has become." Geto sighed, resting against the wall, a towel wrapped on his arm.
"I should've seen the signs, I mean come on, all she cared about was money, even her fellow sorcerers, even after their deaths, she just waited for the paycheque she'd get from their wills, but even then… you don't think she'd do that to her younger brother?" Enoki asked, placing a hand on his forehead.
"The manipulation part? Sure. The other part…"
"Stop. I don't even want to hear it," Enoki sighed, standing up as he walked over to Geto, taking the towel from his arm as he wiped his face and arms down. "I just… I don't want to think about it right now, I'm too tired for it."
Enoki dropped the towel on the floor, heading towards the exit. "No trench coat?" Geto questioned, noting that Enoki hadn't put his coat on back over his turtleneck tank top.
"It's too hot, I don't need to be burning up constantly," Enoki sighed, leaving the room, turning the corner as he accidentally bumped into Tiffany, heading in the opposite direction of Enoki.
"Oh! Kagetora, I was wondering where you were," Tiffany stammered, keeping eye contact, trying not to look at his bare arms.
"Sorry, I had some personal business to attend to," Enoki said, rubbing the back of his neck as Geto followed behind him.
"Oh! Tiffany, how are the children going? I hope they're settling in well," Geto smiled.
"Well they're still getting used to the setting, but they're taking it surprisingly well, considering… everything, but I left them with the girls, Nanako and Mimiko? They mentioned you were planning to introduce them to me, but they seemed more than happy to keep Glen and Glenda company."
Geto turned his head, looking at Enoki. "You haven't introduced the girls to Tiffany yet?"
"I was getting to it, you know you were there, you could've easily done it," Enoki irritatedly scoffed.
"You were the one who promised them…" Geto muttered under his breath.
"And aren't you their legal guardian you arrogant asshole," Enoki muttered back, rolling his eyes as he turned his attention back to Tiffany. "Anyway, you were looking for us?"
"Mhm, I wanted to show you two something, someone actually," Tiffany corrected herself, beckoning for Geto and Enoki to follow her as they began walking to her room.
Entering her room, Enoki and Geto were immediately surprised to see the birdcage sitting on a stool in the centre of the room, the cloth still covering it, blocking off any view of what was inside. "I was planning on showing you early but… I wanted Glen and Glenda to keep themselves entertained, I didn't want to drop too much information on their sweet little heads," Tiffany said, strutting her way towards the birdcage, grabbing the cloth at the top of the cage. "Wakey-wakey Jennifer!!!"
Enoki and Geto watched as Tiffany yanked the cloth off, their jaws dropping as they saw the original Tiffany wedding girl doll sitting in the middle of the enclosure, her small doll hands holding onto the typewriter in front of her, presumably the soul of Jennifer Tilly inside of it. "Gentlemen, meet Jennifer Tilly!!!" Tiffany cheered.
"She's completely insane! God she's hot…" Enoki thought, completely flabbergasted, Geto behind him chuckling.
"How incredible! So that's what happened to Jennifer's soul," Geto cooed, moving up to the birdcage as he crouched down, getting a good look at the doll.
"Ahhh!!! T-Tiffany, who are these two?! Where are we?!" Jennifer yelped, backing away and running over to the side, holding onto the golden bars.
"These two are my new friends Jennifer, and this is where we'll be living from now!" Tiffany chimed, Enoki knew she was delightfully sadistic, but keeping the soul of the body you took over and put it in a doll, well, it was a smart precautionary measure.
"Why did you… keep her?" Enoki asked, watching as Geto waved at Jennifer through the bars, like a child at the zoo.
"Oh you know, I'm not exactly an actor so I kept around to do any voice acting gigs I was offered, she also helped with any taxes, cheques, payments, stuff like that," Tiffany hummed, reaching into her cleavage, pulling out check as she passed it Enoki, who stiffly took the paycheque.
"She's loaded, I don't know what else I was expecting."
At the mention of payments Geto immediately stood up. "Tiffany, you wouldn't happen to be aware of your current banking situations?"
"God you're a golddigger," Enoki muttered under his breath.
"What was that?" Geto asked.
"Nothing," Enoki sighed. "Tiffany, not to be rude, but what exactly was the point of telling us all this?" Enoki asked.
"Well, I know you said that I didn't owe you anything about letting me join, but this has been such a great opportunity and I feel as if I must… show my gratitude, so I thought if I wasn't going to be returning to regular life anytime soon, then while I'm not helping killing, I could be helping out financially!" Tiffany suggested. "And I'm no bank accountant myself, so I thought I could bring Jennifer as the family's own little bank accountant!"
"Tiffany… this is really thoughtful but, we already have somebody who looks after the funding, and we've already got plenty of funds-"
"Isn't that just a splendid idea!!! You truly are a kind soul Tiffany," Geto interrupted, smiling happily. "Decides Kagetora, Manami could have some days off, she deserves them, and a little more funding doesn't hurt!"
"Certainly won't hurt your closet," Enoki mumbled.
"What's wrong with upgrading his closet?" Tiffany asked, tilting her head.
A knot of shame twisted in Enoki's stomach as the two fashion geeks stared down at him dumbfounded. "It's a nice thought, but I'm not forcing Jennifer to become a slave for u-"
"I'll do it!!!" Jennifer yelped, interrupting the conversation. Her eyes completely fixated on Enoki, goggling at the man.
"Hmmm? That was fast…" Geto hummed. "I wonder what made her change her mind so fast?" Geto wondered, completely clueless as Enoki looked down flustered.
"I… I wonder."
Seeing Enoki's reaction, a knot of jealousy welled in Tiffany's stomach. "Don't even think about it," she hissed, only loud enough for Jennifer to hear as she stood back up, changing back to her usually happy personality. "Wonderful, I'm so glad we could get this sorted out so quickly!!!" Tiffany cheered, opening the birdcage up.
"Miss Tilly, please allow me to show you around!" Geto offered, walking over to the birdcage as Jennifer jumped into his arms, Geto holding the doll up to eye level.
"Thank you, that's very thoughtful of you Mr. Crazy Bangs," Jennifer thanked, the veins in his forehead popping out to become visible.
"O…of course!"
Geto turned, walking out of the room. "So what can you tell me about your friend?" Jennifer asked.
"Oh Kagetora? Actually, he's a fan of yours!"
"Really?!"
"Really!"
Sighing, Enoki turned around, seeing Tiffany step outside on the balcony, watching her struggling with her lighter, holding her cigarette in her lips. "Need a light?" He asked, walking onto the balcony as he sliced a small cut onto the tip of his finger, drawing a small amount of blood, rubbing it against the end of Tiffany's cigarette, a red flame igniting at the end of her cigarette.
"Thank you," Tiffany mumbled, her lips still holding onto the cigarette as she threw the lighter away, wrapping her fingers around the cigarette, taking a drag from the tobacco stick, the disgusting yet stimulating flavour of the cigarette mixed with the copper scented taste of Enoki's blood entering her blood, exhaling a cloud of smoke from her mouth. "Looks like somebody's a fan."
Enoki blinked. "Me or her?" He asked.
"You're a fan of Jennifer Tilly?" Tiffany asked, not aware of his fascination with the actor.
"Yeah…" Enoki said, walking up to the railing, resting his arms and head down.
"As in like a fan… or like an obsessed and in love with her fan?" Tiffany asked.
"Just a regular fan, I was already far too insane to become a psycho who stalked her online when I started watching her films back in high school," Enoki sighed.
"You know, my mother always said that love is supposed to set a person free," Tiffany added, she was one of the people who couldn't stand still unless she was sitting down, having to always be moving no matter what, swaying her hips back and forth as she exhaled another cloud of smoke.
"What a heap of shit," Enoki thought, his eyes locked onto the ground underneath the balcony. "You're mother was hopeless romantic I take it?" He asked.
"If that's what you call someone who doesn't give up looking for their soulmate, then yes, she was," Tiffany teased, rolling her cigarette from one corner of her mouth to the other. "But you're right, she was a hopeless believer in finding somebody to grow old with, never found a good guy though."
"They're rare to come across these days."
"I was dating a literal 'good guy', and even then, he stabbed me through the chest, I don't even know if any good guys exist anymore," Tiffany voiced her worries, her arms wrapping around herself, hugging herself as smoke puffed out from the still lit cigarette. "Expect for you, you're a good one."
"You've only known me for like 3 days, I doubt you could've made that big of an assumption on me already," Enoki said.
"I'm a good judge of character," Tiffany smirked, rubbing the tip of her cigarette against the concrete railing, the flame going out.
"I think one of the last things he ever said to me was when Tsukumo arrived, 'She's okay, I'm a great judge of character', and he was right, she was lazy but far from a person, Haibara's specialty was seeing what others couldn't."
"I- yeah… if, if you say so," Enoki stuttered, it seemed around every corner there was a reminder of his junior classmate, a specially designed gut punch for him and him alone for the course in life he chose.
"You don't sound very convinced," Tiffany teased, flicking the bud of the cigarette off the balcony, watching its descent onto the ground floor below them.
"No I am, I'm just… being haunted by the memory of an old friend," Enoki sighed, lifting his head from the confines of his arms, looking up at the sky, the pitch black void sprinkled with the shiny stars.
"You look like you could use some time for yourself," Tiffany said, Enoki giving a small nod. "I'll you be sweetface, I'll see you in the morning," Tiffany said, putting her hand on Enoki's shoulder, caressing it as she walked back inside.
"I'll see you tomorrow Tiff," Enoki muttered, his voice barely louder than a whisper as he heard of the sound of Tiffany's stilettos become quieter and quieter until it vanished into the wind, Enoki sighing as he lowered his head down, nuzzling it into his arms.

"You know, whenever I was stuck between a rock and a hard place, I would ask myself, 'What would Nanami or Enoki do?'" Haibara announced, grinning widely in the small common room of jujutsu high.
At the time Enoki was half way through his second year at Jujutsu high, standing at the nearby vending machine, sliding his coin into the slit of the machine, grabbing his drink from the flip door at the bottom of the vending machine. "Me? Why me?"
"Well in all honesty, Gojo and Geto are awesome! But I've never really had the chance to ever properly get to know them y'know! Which makes sense, they both have the potential to become Special Grade sorcerers, which means most of the time I'm on missions with you and Nanami, so I've grown to respect you two the most," Haibara explained, Enoki listening as he cracked the soft drink can open.
"That means a lot, coming from my favourite underclassman," Enoki smiled, taking a swig from the can of soda.
"Really?!"
"Really," Enoki confirmed, looking at the reflection of himself through the glass of the vending machine. "I reckon by the end of the year, Nanami could very well climb a rank and become a Semi-First Grade Sorcerer, and as for you Haibara, becoming a Second Grade sorcerer doesn't sound too shabby right?"
Haibara perked up. "You really think so?"
Enoki nodded. "But you know what that'll mean right? You and Nanami will start going on missions without me, but I doubt that will be much of a problem, you two are strong… grown so much in just a year."
"Don't go getting sentimental on me Enoki," Haibara chucked. "You're making this sound like some sort of goodbye."
"I'm sorry about that Haibara, I didn't mean to make you worry in any way, but Jujutsu Sorcery is a dangerous job, even for students like us, I can't count on all my fingers the amount of times I've come close to dying during missions I've been sent on," Enoki said, the lit flame of sas and attitude that usually laid behind his green eyes was put out, for the first time understanding what it was like to wear the shoes of his own upperclassmen, those who worried about his safety when he was sent on missions.
"You better make sure you keep training Haibara, I want you to get strong, strong enough to keep up with me, I don't wanna have to bury you anytime soon…"

Entering the winter season was Kento Nanami's favourite time of year. Things around the office began to slow down, and eventually he would be granted his Christmas leave for the holidays, even then, he was sure the office would find a way to keep him busy during his break.
A warm cloth rested over his eyes as he rocked back and forth on his chair, the small confined space of his office cubicle feeling claustrophobic, the cold air blowing in through the windows as the warm rag added a calming sense of stability, in comparison to the frosted over windows.
The small sense of tranquillity interrupted by the sound of Nanami's phone, the stationary ringtone and buzzing shook his desk lightly, Nanami landing the chair back down on all four legs, picking his phone. "Kento Nanami, what can I help you with?"
"Nanamin!!!" Saturn Gojo chimed through on the other end of the phone, his upperclassmen from his days at Jujutsu High, how painful.
"You have 5 minutes to explain why you're calling me before I hang up," Nanami replied bluntly.
"Hey!!! Hold on, let me make my pitch!!!"
"Then make it."
"We've got some info on our traitors, and more importantly… we've picked up a foreigner curse user, and her cursed energy is off the charts, comparable to that of a Special Grade 1 Sorcerer, we could use the help of a veteran Grade 1 sorcerer."
"I'll be there soon."
