Surprise, we got a double chapter update with Multiverse Odyssey. Don't worry, I'll do a double chapter for Shattered World as well next. This is how I'll be doing things from now on.

Chapter 07: The True Power of Celestial Magic
Natsu and Wendy
"What in the hell did you just say?!" Natsu exclaimed.
"Oh, Natsu. There are more ways to battle then just using your magic. In fact, the most intense battles are those of the mind." Zeref answered. "You see it dawned on me that Fairy Tail is more of a 'fight harder, not smarter' guild."
"Are you calling me an idiot? I'll have you know that I can fight using my head!" Natsu argued.
"I don't think fighting by instinct counts as using your head." Happy said.
"Whose side are you on, Happy?" Natsu comically yelled at his partner. "Screw this, I'll burn you all the ashes right now! Fire Dragon—"
Zeref snapped his fingers a black sphere entrapped all of them. "Roar!" Natsu shouted but he didn't release any flames. "Huh? Fire Dragon Iron Fist!" Natsu tried igniting his fist but there was no fire.
"No magic or special abilities can be done within this sphere. If you want to leave, you must win by my terms. Lose…well…you will cease to exist." Zeref said. "That goes for both sides as well. The longer this battle between Fairy Tail and Grimoire Heart goes on, the closer we get to an end of an era. Now, pick your cards. You must pick at least 40 for your main deck. You're Extra Deck gets a maximum of 15.
Multiple cards appeared around the four wizards. "What cards do we pick?" Wendy looked at the many different cards.
"Try to remember Yuya's battle, Wendy." Carla advised.
"O-Okay…uh…" Carla looked at the cards. "Oh, I don't know what's the difference between the white and black card?"
"Argh, this is getting us nowhere! This one, this one!" Natsu started randomly picking cards.
"Natsu, wait!" Wendy warned.
"We don't have time to deal with this, just pick anything that's strong and move on from there!" Natsu said.
"Lord Zeref…" Ultear spoke. "If we win this, you will take us to the Grand Magic World?"
"Yes, this is your test to prove if you are worthy, after all." Zeref said.
"Meredy, we mustn't lose." Ultear said.
"Okay." Meredy nodded. The two of them selected their cards and the decks formed in each of the wizards' Duel Disks.
"This will be a Tag Team Match. Here are the rules. Both sides share 8000 Life Points, you are allowed to use cards on your partner's field, but you are forbidden from sharing any strategies with them. Nobody is allowed to draw or attack on the first turn. Understood." Zeref explained the rules.
"Whatever let's get this over with." Natsu said. "Let's kick their asses, Wendy."
"S-Sure." Wendy said.
Natsu, Wendy, Ultear and Meredy activated their Duel Disks.
"Duel!" Natsu, Wendy, Ultear and Meredy declared.

"I'm going first!" Ultear said. Ultear looked at her cards and fortunately for her, Zeref used his magic to alter the text so that it was easier to read the cards. "Interesting…"
"Would you hurry it up!" Natsu shouted.
"Hey, I'm new to this game as well!" Ultear yelled back. "Okay, then. We'll start with this. I summon the Tuner Monster, Water Reflection of the Ice Barrier (ATK: 1200, LV: 2)!" Ultear summoned a warrior that used ice. "I end my turn."
Ultear/Meredy LP: 8000, (Ultear Hand: 4, Meredy Hand: 5)
Natsu/Wendy LP: 8000, (Natsu Hand: 5, Wendy Hand: 5)
"Took you long enough! I'm going next!" Natsu shouted and just grabbed a card at random. "This one's gonna melt your puny ice creature! I summon Salamangreat Beat Bison!" Natsu slapped the card on his Duel Disk.
"Error. Error. Error." Natsu's Duel Disk gave off an error.
"Huh? What do you mean error? I played the card so why isn't that stupid monster appearing!" Natsu threw a tantrum.
"Looks like you didn't notice the glow your cards have." Zeref said.
"Huh? What are you talking about?!" Natsu asked.
"Look at the cards in your hand, notice some of them are glowing and some are not." Zeref said.
"Hey, they are glowing." Natsu noticed.
"I knew you didn't know how to play this game, so I gave each of you an aid. The cards that are glowing are cards that you are allowed to play on the field or use their effects. However, cards that aren't glowing mean that you can't use them because you haven't met certain conditions." Zeref said.
"What?! There're conditions to bring these guys out?!" Natsu was confused.
"That's what you get for rushing in without thinking." Lily crossed his arms.
"Yes, Natsu. You see you're allowed to summon a Level 4 or lower monster once per turn. However, Levels 5 and 6 require one release, while anything other monster 7 or higher require 2 releases." Zeref said.
"But Yuya was able to bring out his dragon without releasing!" Natsu argued. He at least remembered when Yuya did the Pendulum Summon.
"He was able to do that when he met the conditions to summon them. You didn't have two monsters ready to release to summon Salamangreat Beat Bison, nor did you have 3 or more Salamangreat monsters in your Graveyard to Special Summon it." Zeref said. "The card tells you, its conditions."
"S-Seriously…" Natsu looked at the cards again and he sweated a lot. "They do…have words…"
"Unfortunately, due to that illegal move, your turn comes to an end and your Salamangreat Beat Bison is banished from the game." Zeref said as Natsu's card disappeared.
"Oh man…" Natsu said.
"Chin up, Natsu. You can get them back next time. And no one is allowed to attack, so we're safe." Wendy said.
"Meredy, it's your turn." Zeref said.
Ultear/Meredy LP: 8000, (Ultear Hand: 4, Meredy Hand: 5)

"My turn!" Meredy looked at her hand. "From my hand, I activate the Continuous Magic: Torture Room of Nightmare!" Meredy played a Continuous Magic.
"Continuous Magic?" Wendy was confused.
"Next, I play another Continuous Magic: Cauldron of the Old Man." Meredy played another Continuous Magic.
"I summon Rapid-Fire Magician (ATK: 1600, LV: 4)!" Meredy played a monster with many crustal balls around him.
"Finally, the Magic Card: Large Fire of Day and Night! This card inflicts 800 points of damage to the opponent!" Meredy revealed.
"What?!" Wendy gasped.
Fire shot towards Natsu and Wendy and both of them screamed in pain.
Natsu/Wendy LP: 8000→7200
"What the hell?! I'm a fire wizard and I felt pain from the flames?!" Natsu was confused by the damage.
"I don't get it! I thought we weren't allowed to attack on the first turn?" Wendy was confused.
"That wasn't an attack. An attack is when you use your monster to battle. Meredy just used a Magic Card's effect to deal damage to you. There're two types of damage, battle damage and effect damage. You two got inflicted with effect damage." Zeref explained.
"At this moment, Rapid-Fire Magician's Monster Effect activates! Whenever I activate a Normal Magic Card, the opponent takes 400 points of damage! Also, the Continuous Magic: Torture Room of Nightmare inflicts 300 points of damage when the opponent takes damage from a card effect!" Meredy revealed.
"That's an additional 700 points of damage." Ultear smiled.
Natsu and Wendy screamed as this time, they were electrocuted.
Natsu/Wendy LP: 7200→6500
"And because you took effect damage by a card effect, Torture Room of Nightmare inflicts you 300 more points of damage!" Meredy shouted as Natsu and Wendy took more damage.
Natsu/Wendy LP: 6500→6200
"Natsu!" Happy cried.
"Wendy!" Carla cried.
"I can't believe she damaged them this much on the first turn." Lily said.
"I end my turn." Meredy finished her turn.

Ultear/Meredy LP: 8000, (Ultear Hand: 4, Meredy Hand: 1)
"Wendy, are you okay?" Natsu asked.
"I-I'm okay…" Wendy sweated. "We're not even fighting with magic but I'm so exhausted already."
"Damn it…Wendy hasn't had a turn but they already have us losing. How does Yuya deal with this mental pressure? It's nothing like I'm used to." Natsu thought.
"As I figured, Natsu's mental strength is deteriorating. He's not used to this kind of fighting. It semes that I'll have to give up on my original plan." Zeref thought.
"My turn!" Wendy looked at her hand. "Okay, I can play most of the cards in my hand." Wendy looked and read the cards. "Okay, I think I got it. Alright."
"I activate the Field Magic: Divine Wind of Mist Valley!" Wendy played and the field changed to a valley.
"Okay, next is this. I summon Ptarmigan of Mist Valley (ATK: 1100, LV: 3)!" Appearing on Wendy's field was a yellow bird with a lightning bolt pattern along its body.
"Then, by returning a Mist Valley monster from my field back to my hand, I can Special Summon Mist Condor (ATK: 1400, LV: 4) from my hand!" Wendy returned Ptarmigan to her hand and brought out a condor instead. "And due to this effect, Mist Condor's Attack Points become 1700.
Mist Condor (ATK: 1400→1700)
"At this moment, the Field Magic: Divine Wind of Mist Valley's effect activates! When a Wind Attribute monster I control returns to my hand, I can Special Summon a Level 4 or lower Wind monster from my deck! Furthermore, Ptarmigan's of Mist Valley's effect activates! When this card is returned to my hand, I can Special Summon it back to the field!" Wendy revealed.
"That's two more monsters for Wendy to summon!" Happy smiled.
"Good move, child!" Carla praised.
"Return! Ptarmigan of Mist Valley (DEF: 700, LV: 3) in Defense Position! And from my deck, Dragonfly (DEF: 900, LV: 4) in Defense Position!" Wendy summoned a dragonfly monster to her field.
"A double defense along with a single offense. A good balanced formation for a first turn." Lily observed.
"Way better than what Natsu did." Carla insulted.
"Hey…" Natsu gritted his teeth.
"I'm not allowed to attack, but if I learn anything from watching Yuya, it's to always prepare for the future. I need to prepare for the opponent, Natsu and myself." Wendy grabbed one of her last cards. "I set one card and end my turn." Wendy finished her turn.

"From this point on, you're allowed to draw from your deck and conduct battle." Zeref reminded them. "Let's see how they do."
Naruto and Lucy vs Capricorn
"Ow…" Lucy moaned as she sat up. "That really hurt."
"There you are!" Capricorn appeared before her. "Appear! Hunter of Belparaso, Samagui!" Capricorn summoned a hunter with a bow and arrow. Samagui aimed at Lucy and fired.
"Open, Gate of the Ram! Aries!" Aries appeared.
"Sorry!" Aries apologized. "Wool Wall!" Aries created a wall of wool that stopped the arrows from reaching them.
"Thanks Aries!" Lucy thanked.
"No wall, can stop me!" Samagui aimed his arrows and fired them over the wall and they curved towards Lucy.
Suddenly, two kunai flew fast and cut the arrows down. "I gotcha covered!" Naruto shouted. "Take him out now!"
"Go Aries!" Lucy shouted.
"Wool Bomb!" Aries unleashed her wool and trapped Samagui, preventing him from reaching for his bows and arrows.
"Get the hell out of here!" Naruto did a flip and delivered a hard kick down Samagui's head, making him hit the ground hard and forcing him to disappear.
"Get out of the way, Aries!" Capricorn did some hand signs.
"Another Ninjutsu!" Naruto's eyes widened.
"Sealing Jutsu!" Capricorn moved swiftly to Aries. "Contract Seal!" Capricorn slammed his hand on Aries stomach, forming a seal and sending her flying.
"Aries!" Lucy cried.
"I'm sorry!" Aries apologized before she disappeared.
"The same thing with Loke-" Lucy couldn't finish her sentence as Capricorn punched her right in the stomach hard and she flew into a tree branch. "Gah!" Lucy coughed out blood.
"Lucy!" Naruto called out.
"Die, daughter of Layla Heartfilia!" Capricorn charged towards Lucy.
Naruto quickly got between Capricorn and Lucy and took the punch in the face. "Don't forget about me you stupid goat!" Naruto grabbed Capricorn's arm and threw him far away from him and Lucy.
"Open, Gate of the Scorpion, Scorpio!" Lucy summoned Scorpio to the field.
"Rock on!" Scorpio posed. "Sand Buster!" Scorpio unleashed a powerful sand attack on Capricorn.
"Another annoying spirit!" Capricorn did the same jutsu again.
"Scorpio, don't get hit by the attack!" Lucy shouted.
"Sand Wall!" Scorpio created a defensive wall.
"Sand won't stop me!" Capricorn burst through the sand and made contact with Scorpio. "Contract Seal!" Scorpio screamed as he was forced to return to the Celestial Spirit World.
"Damn it. I can't summon anymore spirits today." Lucy cursed.
"Now nobody can get in my way. And I think I know the perfect way to kill you." Capricorn said. "I'll use my human enslavement magic to make you commit suicide."
"Wh-What?!" Lucy gasped in shock.
"This disgusting goat has outlived his usefulness. And he'll forever live with the memory that he failed to protect you. "Human Enslavement Magic: Huma Raise!" Capricorn unleashed a wave of dark magic around the area.
"Normally, this magic would allow me to take control of a human. But I used it as a taboo to take control of this goat." Capricorn spoke.
"Take control…wait, you mean you're not Capricorn. You're somebody else?!" Lucy exclaimed.
"Hehehe, enjoy your last moments, Lucy Heartfilia!" Multiple shadows of Capricorn surrounded her. "Now you die!"
Lucy closed her eyes to prepare for the worst, when she felt herself being pushed away. The darkness then disappeared and Lucy looked to see Naruto where Capricorn cast his spell. "N-Naruto…" Lucy called out.
"What is this? This power within…" Naruto spoke but his tone was different. "Amazing, this boy has more power than the Celestial Spirits himself! With this…" Naruto turned and glared sinisterly at Lucy, making her tremble.
"Wh-Who are you?" Lucy asked.
Naruto took out a kunai and twirled it in his finger. "Say hi to your mother for me." Naruto went to cut Lucy's head off when Capricorn intercepted the kunai and the blade pierced his hand.
"You will not touch her, Zoldeo!" Capricorn roared as he pushed Naruto back.
"Shit, so you're still able to move." Naruto cursed.
"Lady Lucy, are you alright?" Capricorn asked.
"Y-Yeah. I'm fine. But what's going on? Why's Naruto?" Lucy was confused.
"He has been controlled by Zoldeo, a wizard that has fallen to darkness. Normally, human enslavement magic doesn't involve the caster merging with the target's body, but he broke the taboo of that magic, making him merge with a Celestial Spirit or a person from another world." Capricorn explained.
"Is there a way to get him out of Naruto?" Lucy asked.
"There is…and your magic will be the key to that." Capricorn said.
"My magic, but I can't summon anymore of the spirits, he sealed them away and prevented me from calling them again." Lucy said.
"Lady Lucy, you are stronger than what you believe you are. Your mother, Lady Layla, believed you to be the strongest Celestial Wizard in history. Believe in yourself and the bonds with your spirits." Capricorn advised.
"Believe in myself…and my bonds…" Lucy looked at her keys.
"Even if the spirits are not beside you, they'll always grant you, their power. You simply call to them." Capricorn said.
Lucy took Loke's key and held it up to her heart. "Loke…please…grant me your power to save Naruto." Loke's key glowed and Lucy felt power surging throughout her body and she felt her clothes change as well.
"Whoa!" Lucy was shocked as she was now in an elegant, frilled, black ball gown that was slit up to her left leg and tied with a gold sash around her hips. She also had a black, frilled choker around her neck and she had Leo's zodiac sign on her right breast.
"No way! Impossible! She achieved the Star Dress forms!" Naruto exclaimed.
"Go, Lady Lucy!" Capricorn encouraged. "Save your friend!"
"May the light of justice extinguish the darkness of evil!" Lucy gathered light in her right fist and charged at Naruto with fast speed.
"So fast!" Naruto thought as Lucy appeared in front of him.
"Regulus Impact!" Lucy punched Naruto hard. "Get out of my friend, Zoldeo!" Lucy shouted and the darkness was extracted from Naruto.
"No, impossible!" Appearing was a scary man in purple robes. "Wait, I'm me again. This is—" Zoldeo gasped as he saw his body disintegrating. "Wait, no, this can't be! Make it stop! Make it stop! Someone help me! Lady Layla!" Zoldeo screamed before he disappeared.
"Argh, man. That really hurt." Naruto groaned as he rubbed his chest. "You pack a mean right hook."
"Thanks." Lucy smiled. Suddenly, her body glowed and she was back to her regular clothes. She then collapsed on her knees.
"Whoa, hey, you okay." Naruto checked on her.
"I'm just…really tired…" Lucy panted.
"Don't worry, you'll get use to it with the proper training." Capricorn said.
"You…" Naruto was prepared to fight.
"No, Naruto. It's okay. He was being controlled by someone. He's a good guy." Lucy stood up for Capricorn.
"I apologize for injuring you, Master Naruto." Capricorn bowed.
"Master Naruto, huh? Well, then my slave, fetch me a hot bowl of ramen and we'll call it even." Naruto spoke like snot nosed rich kid.
"He's not your slave!" Lucy smacked Naruto in the back of the head hard.
"Ow! Are you sure you're tired?" Naruto felt a massive bump swell up on his head.
"Capricorn, who was that Zoldeo guy?" Lucy asked.
Capricorn fixed his sunglasses and sighed. "It was 20 years ago. Your mother, Lady Layla had fallen ill and was forced to retire from wizardry. Since she no longer had the power to use us, she decided to pass on Aquarius, Cancer and myself to three of her servants. One of them was that man, Zoldeo."
"But before she gave me to him, Lady Layla and I made one more contract. I promised her that if one of her descendants had decided to travel the path of magic, that I would protect them and the family for the rest of my life." Capricorn said.
"So, you were gonna be contracted with me." Lucy said.
"Yes, and Zoldeo agreed to that arrangement. However, he was forced to leave the manor and he soon discovered the dark side of magic. He broke the taboo of human enslavement magic and merged himself with me." Capricorn explained his story.
"Jackass…using you as his tool. He deserved to die." Naruto said.
"So, Capricorn. Now that Zoldeo's gone, will you be my partner?" Lucy asked.
"Lady Lucy, you don't even have to ask. Now after all these years, I can finally take my rightful place with my owner." Capricorn bowed.
"No, I'm not your owner and you're not my servant. You're my friend, equals." Lucy smiled.
"You will go far Lady Lucy, farther than your mother…" Capricorn glowed and disappeared. Lucy's key pouch glowed and she saw Capricorn's key had become a part of her collection.
"So, you've got a technique and a friend. That's cool." Naruto said.
"Yeah, but it still uses a lot of energy." Lucy wiped her sweat.
"How about some training to get used to it." Naruto offered.
"That's kind of you, but we're in the middle of a war here. Come on, we have to find the others." Lucy said.
"Oh, big surprise, you get a new power and now you're calling all the shots! I'm still a better fighter than you!" Naruto complained.
"Kya!" A girlish scream echoed throughout the forest.
"Hmph." Lucy huffed and walked away as Naruto was lying on the ground with another large bump in his head.
Gajeel vs Jose
"Iron Dragon Club!" Gajeel struck Jose hard into the ground. "Stay down…" Gajeel was pouring with sweat.
"Really, Gajeel. That's all you have." Jose stood up with not even a scratch or bruise on him.
"What the hell is going on. I know I got a few hits in, but he looks perfectly normal." Gajeel thought.
"That's right, Gajeel. Keep striking me. Together we will finally eliminate Fairy Tail." Jose smirked.
Fairy Tail Base Camp
"Ow!" Lisanna yelped as she dropped a pot of soup.
"Lisanna, are you okay?" Mirajane asked.
"For some reason, it felt like I was getting punched in the stomach." Lisanna said.
"Now that you mention it, I felt like I was getting stabbed in the back." Mirajane rubbed her lower spine.
"I don't like this; I'm going to head out." Erza changed into her armor.
"But Erza, you haven't recovered." Levy argued.
"I'll be fine, Levy. I'm—"
Gajeel vs Jose
"How about this!" Gajeel transformed his right arm into a lance. "Iron Dragon Lance: Demon Logs!" Gajeel unleashed a barrage of attacks on Jose.
"Yes, Gajeel! That's it, now the next target will be…you." Jose channeled magic under the island and it made its way towards…
Fairy Tail Base Camp
"Gah!" Erza grunted and she fell to her knees.
"Erza!" Levy cried.
"Wh-What is this pain? It's so intense." Erza gasped.
Gajeel vs Jose
"Is that all you got, Gajeel?" Jose asked. He was perfectly fine.
"Damn it. Why isn't he getting damaged? Is my Dragon Slayer Magic not enough. Do I need some major power like Fairy Law?" Gajeel thought.
"Do you still care about me, Gajeel?" Jose asked. "Because I know this isn't your full power."
"Grr…" Gajeel growled.
"It's okay, I understand. After all, I was the only one to accept you. And even though you are a part of Fairy Tail, you still feel like an outsider to them." Jose said.
"I don't blame them. Not after everything I did to them." Gajeel said. "But that's why I'm here fighting you. To prove to them that I am on their side."
"Oh, Gajeel. You will never be accepted by them. Who could ever love a monster?" Jose smirked.
"Bastard! Iron Dragon Sword!" Gajeel slashed at Jose.
Fairy Tail Base Camp
"Ow…" Levy held her arm. "Now I'm feeling pain all of a sudden. Wait…this feeling…I've felt it before." Levy's eyes widened. She did feel this pain before. She could never forget the feeling of iron.
"I'm going to find Gajeel!" Levy ran out of the camp.
"Wait, Levy!" Erza called out but Levy was gone.
"Magic that transfers the pain of oneself to others, that's forbidden dark magic. I have to get to Gajeel and tell him before he destroys Fairy Tail again." Levy thought.
Natsu and Wendy vs Ultear and Meredy
Natsu/Wendy LP: 6200, (Natsu Hand: 4, Wendy Hand: 1)
Natsu's Field: No cards.

Ultear looked at Zeref, who was watching the match with curiosity. She remembered her conversation with him.
"Shall I take the pleasure of putting you out of your misery?" Zeref coldly stated.
"Wait, Lord Zeref. Please, take us to the Grand Magic World. We are worthy of seeing it. Please, everything we do, we do for you." Ultear bowed. Meredy followed suit.
"You are worthy?" Zeref asked. "Very well. Prove it to me. I want you defeat the Fire Dragon Slayer and the Sky Dragon Slayer."
"Fire Dragon Slayer, Natsu Dragneel. Sky Dragon Slayer, Wendy Marvell. Possibility of defeating them is 100%." Meredy analyzed.
"Oh, you aren't going to fight them with magic." Zeref said.
"What do you mean, Lord Zeref?" Ultear asked.
"I have seen the future and, in that future, if you fight with magic, you lose. Therefore, you're going to fight them in a game of Duel Monsters." Zeref said.
"Duel Monsters?" Ultear asked.
"You want to prove yourself. What better way to prove it by excelling in combat outside of magic." Zeref said. "If you can beat them this way, then you are worthy of being part of the Grand Magic World and the Dark Phoenix."
"For our dreams, we won't lose." Ultear put her fingers on her deck. "My turn! Draw!" Ultear drew her card.
"If my opponent controls a monster and I have an Ice Barrier monster on my field, I can Special Summon this monster from my hand! Appear! Wayne, Tiger General of the Ice Barrier (ATK: 2100, LV: 5)!" Ultear summoned a warrior of ice to the field.
"Another ice bastard…" Natsu cursed.
"When Wayne is Normal Summoned or Special Summoned, I can add one Ice Barrier Magic or Trap Card from my deck to my hand! And since I control an Ice Barrier Monster, I can Special Summon this monster as well! Appear! Speaker Priestess of the Ice Barrier (ATK: 100, LV: 4)" Ultear summoned another Ice Barrier monster.
"Another Special Summon…" Wendy trembled.
"Hey, there's got to be a limit of Special Summons!" Natsu argued.
"No, you're allowed to Special Summon as many times as you want." Zeref said. "Only a Normal Summon is once per turn."
"We will go to the Grand Magic World and you won't stop us! I'm Tuning my Level 4 Speaker Priestess of the Ice Barrier with my Level 2 Water Reflection of the Ice Barrier!" Water Reflection turned into two green rings and Speaker Priestess flew through them and became four stars.
"Wh-What is she doing?" Happy trembled.
"This feeling, it's like when Yuya did a Fusion Summon." Lily felt the tremors.
"Be careful, you two!" Carla warned.
"Warriors of ice, please respond to my wishes and pounce those who try to get in the way of my dreams! Synchro Summon! Appear! Level 6! Dewloren, Tiger King of the Ice Barrier (ATK: 2000, LV: 6)!" Appearing was a Tiger with armor of the Ice Barrier monsters.
"Astounding, Ultear…" Meredy was amazed.
"She managed to use her instincts of battle to create this combination. By throwing aside her hesitation and uneasiness of Duel Monsters, it has now become second nature to her." Zeref analyzed.
"Salamander." Ultear called out to Natsu.
"Because you stupidly wasted your turn, your field is wide open to a direct attack by my monsters." Ultear said.
"Don't worry, Natsu. I'll protect you!" Wendy shouted.
"The probability that the Sky Dragon's set card is a trap is 100%." Meredy said. This made Wendy sweat.
"Wendy, no! You gave away your card!" Carla shouted.
"In that case, I'll get rid of it. I activate the Quick-Play Magic: Cyclone! This destroys a Magic or Trap card on your field! I destroy your set card!" Wendy's set card was destroyed which was Attack Nullification.
"Oh no!" Wendy cried.
"Next time, you should keep your mouth shut little girl." Ultear said. "Now you will pay the consequences."
"Hey, you leave her alone! I'm your opponent!" Natsu shouted.
"I guess there's no hope for you, Natsu. Igneel was right to abandon you." Zeref said.
"Wh-What did you say?!" Natsu glared at Zeref.
"I would be disappointed too if my son was a careless and conceited disappointment." Zeref said.
"I get the carless part, but what do you mean conceited? I've always done things for the Fairy Tail guild!" Natsu argued.
"And there you go using Fairy Tail as an excuse for your actions." Zeref said. "I've been around for a long time and I've seen and heard things that you've done. You've been going overboard with your magic and that has caused a lot of damage."
"They were just buildings. They could repair them and I can pay them for the damages." Natsu shouted.
"Looks like you still don't get it. Fine, then…" Zeref summoned a newspaper in his hands. "This newspaper was from Hargeon, the day you stopped a sex trafficking operation."
"Oh, that was the best day ever." Natsu smiled.
"Yeah, it was when we met Lucy." Happy added.
"Despite stopping an illegal operation, Fairy Tail's Salamander, Natsu Dragneel, destroyed not only a large portion of Hargeon Port but has also caused multiple damages to residential areas." Zeref read the paper. "Many residents have expressed their anger at Natsu for his careless actions, but none were angrier than a local mother whose son suffered third degree burns on his face."
"W-Wait? What?" Natsu was confused.
"My child is now unrecognizable. None of his friends want to play with him and he his too scared to even leave the house. My son did nothing wrong, yet he paid the price for Fairy Tail's reckless actions! I hate Fairy Tail and I hate the Salamander for ruining my son's life." Zeref read.
"B-But I didn't mean…"
"This wasn't the first time that citizens of Ishgar have voiced their anger about Salamander and I'm certain this will not be the last. An elderly woman lost her leg with Salamander destroyed her roof during his fight with a monster. A young man with an IQ of 180 lost his eye sight due to the intense flames that Salamander created as he laughed over defeating a dark guild." Zeref looked at Natsu with a disappointed look.
"I-I'm sorry…I didn't mean to hurt…" Natsu looked down.
"You claim to fight for your guild, but you just fight for yourself." Meredy showed emotion, anger and disgust.
"Now you will pay the price." Ultear said. "From my hand, I activate the Magic Card: Ice-Make Bloom!" Ultear played a card and ice formed around her Synchro Monster.
"Ice-Make, like Gray's?!" Wendy exclaimed.
"When I have a Water-Attribute Synchro Monster on my field, this card destroys all monsters on the opponent's field whose Level is lower than that Synchro Monsters! My monster is Level 6 which means all of your monsters are destroyed!" Ice Roses burst out and destroyed all of Wendy's monsters.
"Oh no!" Happy cried.
"They're defenseless now!" Lily shouted.
"Battle! Dewloren! Direct Attack to Wendy Marvell!" Ultear pointed to Wendy.
"No, stop!" Natsu shouted, but it was too late as Dewloren pounced on Wendy. Wendy screamed as Dewloren crushed her with his weight.
Natsu/Wendy LP: 6200→4200
"Wendy!" Carla cried.
"You bastards! I'm here too! Attack me!" Natsu shouted.
"Wayne! Direct Attack to Wendy Marvell!" Ultear declared her other monster to attack Wendy.
"In that case…" Natsu was gonna move.
"If you move from your spot, you are automatically disqualified." Zeref stopped Natsu. "You're not running away from this."
Wayne drew his weapon and slashed at Wendy, making her scream again in pain.
Natsu/Wendy LP: 4200→2100
"Wendy!" Carla cried.
"Stop it! Leave her alone!" Happy was crying too.
"Cowards!" Lily growled.
"How does it feel, watching the people you love suffer due to your actions?" Zeref asked.
"Wendy…" Natsu wanted to go to her, but he if he did, they would lose automatically.
"You were the cause of all this. You were so hasty to end this battle with Grimoire Heart that you neglected to even think about the conditions of your friends. No, a monster like you doesn't deserve friends or a family." Zeref coldly stated.
"You bastards…you're gonna pay…" Natsu clenched his fist.
"Then do it. I set one card and end my turn." Ultear finished her turn.
"My turn…" Natsu reached for his deck but he couldn't draw his card. "If I screw up again…" Natsu looked at the cards in his hand but he couldn't read them and he started hyperventilating.
"Don't extinguish your fire!"
Natsu gasped and he looked at his Duel Disk. A small black and red figure popped out of it. "You must burn brighter now more than ever."
"Wh-Who are you?" Natsu asked.
"I am the Fire Ignis, Flame."
