Naruto gave himself a once over and noticed he had on his familiar orange and blue jumpsuit.
Sasuke did the same and noticed he had on his familiar blue and white themed outfit.
"Well..this isn't so bad I guess. At least we'll have more time to train." Naruto said, looking at the bright side of things.
"I agree. It looks like we're in one of the towns of Japan." Sasuke replied as he observed his surroundings.
"Yeah let's explore around a b-" Naruto was interrupted by the sounds of yelling.
"Yeah get her!!"
"Make sure that slut's spawn is dead!!"
"Haha look at her fearful and scared face!!"
Naruto and Sasuke's faces turned serious as they narrowed their eyes.
The Fox Jinchuriki in particular scowled at the dark emotions and feelings he felt all the way from where he was standing. He was practically drowned in them.
And to think they were directed to the downed girl that looked around their age..
"They definitely will kill her if you two don't interfere." Kurama spoke out.
Naruto nodded in agreement. Before he could say anything though, a window popped up in front of their faces and it seemed as if the world paused around them.

"Right before this quest popped up, he went to save that girl with no hesitation." Kurama answered.
Naruto smiled brightly at that. It explained why Sasuke's closeness increased by a good amount with her.
He pressed Yes immediately after hearing that.

Akeno sat crouched down in fear as she looked at her relatives from the Himejima clan. She didn't know how they found her, but they must have tracked her down.
Her Grand Uncle Suou Himejima was the leader and looked at her with hateful and livid eyes. He held a sword, which looked like a katana in his hand.
"Fallen Angel trash like you don't deserve to be apart of this family and don't deserve to live." He stated with coldness and darkness. The others nodded their heads in agreement.
"B-But Uncle it's n-not m-" Akeno tried to prove her case, but was interrupted.
"Shut up!!" He roared out and slashed his katana down at her.
Akeno closed her eyes in acceptance of the inevitable. She tried to continue living, at least for her Mother by using the skills of purifying evil spirits that she taught her over the past year and a half.
At this point she was tired.
Tired from the exhaustion, hunger, and the emotions that clouded her very being.
She didn't want to take the easy way out after pushing so far..

Akeno's eyes snapped open and she looked with shock at the young boy who came and saved her.
-Sasuke pov-
Sasuke created a sword using his Amaterasu and Kagutsuchi to block the slash that would've more than likely ended the girl's life.

After he stared coldly and calmly at the older man before him.
"Yield." Was the only word he said to him.
"Boy this have nothing to do with you! So why don't yo-!"

The man let out a pained yelp before being blown backwards.
"Wrong answer." Sasuke said before glaring at the others to see if they would do anything.
"Suoh!!" Another yelled out before unsheathing his sword and running towards Sasuke.
"Rasengan Barrage!!"
Naruto suddenly appeared and slammed the twin Rasengans into his side, launching him back with force.
"Sasuke I can handle the rest of them. Check on her." Naruto calmly said as he stood in a guarded stance as he glared the rest down.
Sasuke nodded in return before approaching the girl. She had long black hair with purple eyes. He crouched down to get eye level with the girl who indeed looked around their age. Well the age they were now at.
"Hey are you okay? My name's Sasuke Uchiha and he's Naruto Uzumaki. What's yours?" He asked, softening his tone.
Akeno observed and analyzed the boy in front of her with curiosity and sharpness someone her age wouldn't normally have, but while traveling by herself..let's just say she ran into the dark side of the world too and learned a lot about people
But she could tell that he was honest, kind, and genuine, same as well for the other boy.
He also had his own demons, but didn't everyone?
"A-Akeno..Himejima." She replied a little bashful. After all she wasn't used to speaking with people like that because she didn't trust anyone.
"Well Akeno, you don't have to worry anymore. We have things handled from here." Sasuke said as he offered her a slight grin and a hand.
Akeno glanced at his hand for a second, before giving him a small smile and accepting it.
"Thank you.."
-Naruto pov-
"Ah it's about time you broody bastard." The Fox Jinchuriki quietly said with a chuckle as he crossed his arms and looked at their interaction.
He directed his bloodlust at the rest of them and surprisingly it knocked them out with supreme ease. He was almost disappointed about it.
"What a sight..I thought Uchiha barked on the other side of the tree." Kurama said and that made Naruto burst out laughing.
It was almost surreal seeing his best friend acting so friendly and nice, but it was certainly a welcome change.
His thoughts paused as he sensed a power beside him and he turned his head. It was a red Magic Circle.
Cerulean blue eyes then met turquoise as the red Magic Circle faded away.
