A Badly bruised man ran through the alley screaming his lungs out before he suddenly felt something tackle him from behind and rolled him over before swiping at him with razor sharp claws belonging to a really pissed off werewolf. He caught her wrists and did his best to keep his assailant from clamping her jaws around his head.
"Stay still and it'll be over faster idiot!" Loona barked.
the man felt his strength start to wane and the Hellhound started to smile sensing her opening. breaking free of his grip her claws found his chest and her jaws snapped into his neck breaking it instantly.
"Loona? where are ya girl?"
Millie rounded the corner and saw the hellhound kneeling over the recently deceased and going through his pockets.
"There you are! well that takes care of the runner." she then held out one of the hand axes, "Ready to begin the next part of the job?"
"What's the next part?" Loona asked, taking the axe.
"The client wants the bodies chopped up and put in her old bosses front lawn in an arrangement that says, 'your next'. then we come back on Monday and get him."
"Why can't we just get him right now?" Loona said impatiently, "well already be there!"
"The client paid extra for the display." Millie lifted the axe and started chopping away at the corpse, "I live for that shit though seeing as I get to imagine I'm in a horror movie. I hope one day I get a job like that human movie, something chainsaw massacre."
Unbeknownst to Loona her tail started wagging, "If you ever do get one like that could you let me know?"
"Consider it done darlin'." Millie chuckled seeing the hellhound happy for once.
Loona quickly became self-conscious and returned to her normal demeanor, "Whatever old lady, I'm just asking to get out of desk work."
'It's just another hunt.'
'It's just another hunt.'
'A buck and its fawn. And the fawn is old enough to fend for itself now. Besides, He won't truly be gone forever.'
'It's the way things are now.'
"Damien?" the imp beside him tapped him on the shoulder, "Your hand is shaking."
Moxxie stared as Damien looked through the scope at the target. A middle-aged man fishing on a dock with who they assumed to be the man's teenage son. The crosshair rested over his heart and at this distance Damien was positive it would be a clean kill.
'I'm sorry' Damien willed his hand to go steady and let the air out of his lungs.
Squeezing the trigger, the gun went off and a burst of red lashed out from the man's chest, he'd be dead before he hit the ground.
"Excellent, swift and relatively painless." Moxxie stated typing on his phone, "I'm calling in the portal."
Damien stayed silent as he watched the scene on the dock unfold. The rifle in his hands suddenly felt like the heaviest thing he had ever held as he got up to follow Moxxie to the extraction point.
"So, how'd it goes?" Blitz asked for sipping his fifth coffee and closing the grimoire, "was your first hit a success?!
Damien nodded and handed Moxxie his personal sniper back.
"He pulled off the hit with a clean kill. Now he can assist Loona with whatever mission she has picked out." Moxxie looked at his boss, "She didn't choose anything too outrageous, did she? I picked the witness because I'm not sure if Damien is ready for an all-out firefight yet."
Blitz looked at the open folder in front of Loona's spot at the conference table, "It looks like they're going after a drug den, with about 10 peeps. The client said that their product is what fucked him over."
"Oh crumbs." Moxxie went over to read the case file with Blitz and his eyes went wide.
"Yep, bit of a jump from taking out a key witness." Blitz Turned to Damien, "Just remember not to fuck up or get your ass killed. If the mission does go tits up the most important thing is that nothing happens to my daughter, or you'll be base jumping off the top of this building without a parachute."
"Seriously sir why did you let her pick something that dangerous if you're so worried about her?"
"Oh, that's because I'm going to be watching this shit go down from a distance." Blitz made his hands into binoculars.
"Sir if Loona finds out she's not going to be happy. At all."
"Which is why you're not gonna say a thing baby dick!"
The abrupt sound of a puppy barking repeatedly filled the air.
"Oh, hold on a second, that's her " Blitz answered his phone, "hey sweetie how's the hit going? Millie treating you okay. perfect I will open the portal now and you guys can get cleaned up and ready for the next ass kicking. ok bye bye love you!"
"Do you have any objections? As long as you use your head, I'm sure you'll be fine." Moxxie slid the folder over to Damien, "But, if you don't think you can pull it off there's no shame in asking for a more suitable assignment."
Damien looked through the folder as well and saw that there was not much to go on besides a picture of a trailer park and a list of names. The trailers were arranged in a semi-circle and one singular double wide stood in the center. Three vehicles populated the gravel lot around the park. Then he noticed the trash cans full of chemicals. Most of which were common ingredients of methamphetamine.
Blitz Opened the grimoire once more and the portal opened revealing Loona and Millie both covered in blood and carrying axes.
Loona had a small grin as she spun the hand axe in her hand, "hey small fry! you ready to fuck up some trailer trash?"
"Sure." Damien mumbled, 'It hasn't even been a full hour since I dropped that innocent man but killing meth heads might take the edge off.'
'You don't know if he was innocent for certain your grace.'
Damien looked around for whoever said that, making sure not to let the others know how startled he was. It certainly did not sound like any of the others.
"Oh crumbs." Moxxie sighed, "I'll get the armory keys."
Millie put a blood caked arm around Moxxie and tried to do the same with Damien but stopped when she saw him back away "Oh don't be such Debbie downers you guys!"
"Yeah fatty you're killing the vibe, as usual." Loona strolled past the trio, "Fuck cleaning up, were just gonna get more blood on ourselves. C'mon runt I call first pick on the weapons."
Damien stayed where he was until he was alone then went around the room checking everything he could think of, but nothing turned up.
"Great now I'm hearing shit."
'I assure you I am very real your grace.'
Damien growled, "Then why don't you show yourself?"
'Look down'
As soon as he did so he regretted it, his own shadow was staring back at him intently with ruby eyes that slowly sank back into the darkness.
"Wait how is that possible?" Damien grabbed the nearest object, a pen, and dropped it.
The pen bounced on the floor and stayed there. Then something started to rise from the ground pushing the pen to the side with a cloven hoof before coalescing into a bi pedal jet black goat with four horns and the same red eyes. It was about waist height like Moxxie and Millie. Was it some kind of imp?
'Nothing like an imp your grace. I am Mendes, son of Baphomet and the void.'
"You can read my mind?" Damien flopped down in the nearest chair, "Great!"
'It's the only way I can communicate.'
"Then you know?" Damien said softly.
'Yes,' the goat smiled revealing a set of needle like teeth, 'Don't fret your grace, I believe killing Mephistopheles to be very wise. especially with your uncle being at stake. And do not let frivolous things such as right or wrong keep you from your goals. Quite literally damned if you do damned if you don't.'
The goat cackled as it melted back down into his shadow, 'Hell is home now your grace. Embrace it.'
Damien rubbed his temples at the thought, "I Better get going before Loona comes looking for me again."
Stepping into the armory for the first time Damien was dumbfounded to see that it was not a secure place to keep weapons but a janitor's closet. And none of the weapons were locked in cases or safes save for the single locker in the back with the name Moxxie scratched into the door. Loona was going over a pile of weapons propped up in the mop sink while Moxxie stood by his locker.
"Save your breath Damien I've Been explaining the concept of gun safes to blitz since he hired me." Moxxie unlocked his locker and waved for Damien to step forward, "here you can pick from my personal collection."
Moxxie's locker was tidy and clean unlike the rest of the armory's organized chaos approach. Immediately his eye found a black rifle with silver engravings. Going to grab it he was abruptly stopped.
"Anything but that one. That one does not leave the office under any circumstance." Moxxie said curtly, "But good eye. Carmine blessing tipped rifles can kill Even royal demons."
"Royal demons?" Damien looked at it even more interested, "Can I hold it?"
Moxxie looked at Loona to see she was busy digging an AK47 out of the stack, "I don't really let anyone else handle it but since you're a fellow marksman now under my tutelage, I'll make an exception."
Moxxie brought it out of the locker allowing Damien to get a better look at it. It was interesting in design to say the least.
'It Looks similar to the knife' Damien gingerly took the rifle into his hands and the silver engravings started to glow brighter until eventually dying back down to a faint glimmer.
"What the fuck! you're letting small fry hold the demon killer 3000!" Loona put her hands on her hips, "I thought no one was allowed to even breathe on that thing!"
Moxxie ignored her, "Wait these weapons only do that when... You're an angel?!"
Damien proceeded to tell Moxxie a shortened version of the story he gave Loona. He made sure not to mention anything about his sister wanting that part to stay buried. Then told him about how Mephistopheles found him.
"Your part angel. Last time I checked angels Kill the denizens of hell for sport. Wouldn't want to be around if a more volatile demon were to find out about your heritage" Moxxie gave him a look of apprehension, "I no longer think it a good idea for you to come to the apartment tonight."
"I've only just learned that fact about myself." Damien rolled his eyes, "What happened to that conversation about trust? I need someone to teach me more about this place I'm now living in."
"Then you better take what we teach you here at work to heart. Now, I do not want to know any more about your personal life. I feel it might be a danger to mine and Millie's health." Moxxie put the rifle back, "Just make sure to lock everything back up when you're done Damien."
Handing him the key Moxxie then left without another word.
'That stung a little.' Damien stared ahead, "ok."
He grabbed a buck knife and inspected it, 'mirror finish, could come in handy."
Loona stepped forward, "Don't worry, fatties just being dramatic. Tell you what, I'll get the first round of booze after work. Even introduce you to a friend of mine if you promise not to embaras-."
"No." He grabbed a hk45 knock off with a suppressor and a box of magazines, "I'm still only tolerating you at the moment. Maybe after I get to know you a bit."
Loona huffed, "That's the entire point of getting a drink you clueless dipshit."
Damien slung the smg over his shoulder and closed the locker, "lets get this over with."
The two younger members of IMP entered the human world and sat crouched in the bushes by the road leading up to the trailer park. Loona donned her human disguise and Damien took off his pendant revealing his true form. Which Loona was seeing for the first time. He had blond shoulder length hair and pale skin. He looked eerily perfect for a human though. No acne or freckles and there was no sign of a broken nose like from the story he told earlier. He took off Moxxie's sunglasses and put them in his shirt pocket.
"Your really serious about the glasses thing huh?" Loona asked taking Damien's from out of her shorts pocket and giving them back.
"It's a part of my disguise" Damien took his and put them next to Moxxie's.
"I'm just going to go on record and say you look way better as a hellhound small fry, without the glasses that is." Loona said starting down the path quietly, "Humans kind of gross me out in general though."
"That's good to know." Damien looked Loona up and down, "Well just for the record it looks like you could only afford half a haircut, and you definitely shop at hot topic. I Also find the Idea of an honest to God race of Anthropomorphic dog people to be horrifying."
Loona stopped dead in her tracks to give Damien a death glare.
"You started it." Damien said nonchalantly, passing her.
As they got closer to the group of buildings a car came into view. Leaning against the car was a man in a suit smoking a cigarette with his back turned. He was listening carefully for what was going on inside the trailer park. Something he would take advantage of. He motioned for Loona to stay hidden.
Damien drew the buck knife and snuck closer avoiding any branches or leaves that could potentially give him away. He could hear his own heart start to beat faster and faster as he closed in. griping the knife tightly. All he had to do was spring up and cover the Mans mouth before dragging the blade across his throat. A couple seconds of struggle and it would be over. Or so he thought, the guy turned around last second forcing Damien to hide the knife behind his back as he rose.
"Yo what the fuck bro!" the man jumped out of his skin, "Jesus christ were you hiding in the trunk or some shit? I only remember there being four of us in the car."
"my bad." Damien tried to play it cool, "People tend to forget I'm there cause I'm so quiet."
"I see." The man turned back around, "so Whats your story anyway? Whyd you join?"
"Sorry about this!" after having spoken to the person he didn't know if he could bring himself to kill them, especially in such a gruesome way.
"Wha-!"
Damien slammed the guys head against the roof of the car and lowered him to the ground. He made sure he still had a pulse before checking his pockets for the keys.
"Loona, I need your help!" Damien found the keys and started dragging the body towards the trunk.
"You haven't even killed him yet runt!" Loona hissed back
"Just because were assassins does not mean we need to kill everyone we meet."
"Your just a chicken shit aren't you!" Loona sneered
"Is his name on the God damned list?"
Loona looked at the list she had taped to her arm and smelled it, the unconscious driver did not start glowing red.
"No!" she growled.
"Then shut the fuck up and help me before he wakes up!"
'Chicken shit'
"ugh not you too" Damien groaned.
"What was that." Loona asked
"What was what." Damien responded before opening the trunk so they could throw the driver in.
Then when Damien wasnt looking Loona took a claw and finished the job.
"Loona! What the fuck!"
"Oh shit my bad! claw must have slipped." Loona shot back without a hint of remorse.
Blitz crossed into the living world feeling like he gave the hounds enough of a head start. He looked at the binoculars in his hand before chucking them as far as he could into the woods.
"Whoops it appears I have lost my binoculars. I Guess ill have to supervise this mission personally." Blitz said feigning innocence.
"Sir, the portal hasn't even closed yet. We saw that."
Blitz turned to M&M on the other side of the portal, "yeah but that's the official story! Got it?!"
"Gotcha boss!" Millie saluted as the portal closed.
"Now," Blitz cracked his knuckles, "where did those kids run off to? I'd like to spend some quality time with my daughter."
Damien pressed his back into the trailer that was concealing him. He could feel his heart trying to burst out of his chest. His hands brought up the buck knife then carefully used it to peek around the corner.
He saw a man with a gun in the window of the center trailer watched while people in a black suits talked to what Damien would guess was the king pin and his men. Both parties armed to the teeth. Damien looked over to Loona who was across the gap behind the next trailer.
"Well, what did you see small fry?"
"A gunman in the window of the center trailer and four outside, all armed. Three unknowns in suits. Looks like we got here while a drug deals going down." Damien put the buck knife back in its scabbard, "Better start actin fast."
"What makes you say that?" Loona asked.
"We just knocked out the suits ride." Damien looked behind him at the car, "they'll look to load up and realize the drivers nowhere to be seen."
"What ideas are you coming up with cause all I got at the moment is start shooting." Loona brought up her Ak to emphasize the point.
"This is a trailer park in the middle of the woods turned meth lab. The trailers also just so happen to be a little too close together." He thought for a moment, "We could disable the other vehicles, Set the place ablaze and let them believe it's a set up before picking off the survivors."
The smile Loona gave him in return put him off a bit, "I Like that plan!"
"So do I!"
They both turned to the forest behind them, weapons raised as blitz stumbled out of the bushes looking like he had just run a marathon.
Loonas growled lowly as the imp rushed over trying to give his daughter a hug.
Loona pushed him away. "What the fuck are you doing here blitz!"
"Yeah, I thought you said you were going to watch from a distance." Damien added.
"You knew about this?!"
"Oh, please you seriously expect me not to at least watch my daughter's first mission. Especially with some guy Hellhound we've known for only one Day!" Blitz gestured to Damien, "Did he even tell you he's not actually a hellhound yet."
"I'm well aware Da- Blitz! Fuck!"
"Did Moxxie tell you?" Damien grumbled, "loudmouth."
"No, I was talking to Stolas last night." Blitz shrugged, "Told me that when he said angelic specialist, he meant a literal angel not someone that kills angels. Glad to know you didn't plan on keeping it a secret Though!"
Their conversation was interrupted as the sound of a door opening and slamming. Then voices came from the next trailer over.
"6! Pull the car around!"
"Shit, Blitz you couldn't have butted in at the worse fuckin time!" Loona hit the ground with a fist, "What now? We didn't get to the other cars. Now they'll just drive out of here!"
"Oh no they won't!" Blitz grinned and pulled a detonator out of his pocket. "I May have already scouted the area ahead of time before you two even portaled in."
"Are you fucking serious." Loona snatched the device from blitz, "You had this whole place rigged to blow the entire time!"
"Only the target's cars!" Blitz held up his hands defensively.
"Well, this mission just got a lot easier." Damien stated matter of fact.
"How so?" said Loona wondering how her dad's meddling made their job easier.
"Well let's hide first."
The three ran into the woods making sure to keep clear of the gaps between the trailers in case the gunman was still watching. Once behind some trees for cover Damien nodded at Loona who then proceeded to press the detonator. A second's delay before a sudden succession of blasts shook the ground and a cacophony of gunfire erupted afterward. Loona took out the list of names and watched the marks dwindle down from ten to seven then to five.
'Now where's the fun in that?' She thought to herself, realizing that while the explosives were effective, they were a little too effective. She was still looking forward to fighting. 'Ugh, I sound like the old lady.'
Damien peeked around to see a couple of the trailers starting to catch fire, "Don't move yet! Theres about to be an aftershock!"
As soon as the words left his mouth a second wave of explosions went off. Two marks left. The three peeked out of their respective hiding spots to see the trailer park engulfed in flames and smoke.
Mason looked around after the chaos. "Agent 3?"
He got up and coughed, doing his best not to breathe in the toxic fumes around him. The trailer park that they were here to investigate had turned out to be a drug manufacturing facility although there were traces of demonic magic in the woods nearby. It had taken a fair bit of luck and charm to convince the degenerates that they weren't feds after them and that they came for something else entirely. that's when the leader started talking arms, he apparently ran guns too. Agent 3 figured that if he could spin the story right, they could set up a deal that would never actually happen and that they could just report this rat's nest when they got back. His silver tongue saved the day, and the deal was struck. But when he called for Agent 6 to bring the car the entire place started blowing up. how lucky.
It totally ruined the plan and started a shootout. He for certain saw Agent 9 get blown away before the actual labs themselves exploded killing the bulk of the drug makers. Unfortunately, they were close enough to get thrown around as well.
Feeling something wet in his hair he touched the top of his head and knew he must have hit his head pretty bad.
Then he saw them. three figures moving through the now hazy air. There were flashes and he knew what was up in an instant. They were making sure everything was dead. then he noticed something odd about the shortest one. It had horns.
carefully he started moving away from them and nearly tripled from a hand grabbing his foot as he passed. Agent 3 was still alive, but it was obvious he couldn't get up.
lifting Agent 3 on to his back he started off once more towards where the car should be parked. He saw it upon exiting the smoke clouds and started running as fast as he could. He opened the door and helped 3 inside before noticing the trunk propped open. He didn't even need to look, 6 was dead. and if 6 is dead he doesn't have the keys. which means one of those three have them.
"I gotta Go get the keys and see if Agent 10 is still alive." Mason reached for his shoulder holster and drew his revolver, "Lock the doors and call for backup!"
"you're not thinking of taking em head on, are ya?" The agent dialed his phone and held it to his ear, "that horned one is definitely a demon."
"Hunting demons, it's part of the job. didn't you tell me that?"
As the dust settled Damien aimed at the dying man at his feet and fired. He'd rather They die quickly then suffer. The others were only concerned about confirming the targets were taken care of.
"Like Blitz said, That's a waste of bullets small fry."
Loona proved to be uncaring when it comes to Human suffering. Shed search their pockets even if they weren't dead yet then leave them to die. But he expected as much from someone raised in hell. didn't mean he had to be the same.
"what are you even looking for", He asked the hellhound who was searching one of the black suit clad people.
"You'll see if I find it. You know these kind of look like Dhorks agents. But Dhorks don't dress in all black. Or pack actual firepower." Loona pulled a gun out of the corpse's hand and put it in her waist band, "They were total mall ninjas. Didn't even know how to use those weapons properly."
"I was thinking they looked like the Men in black" Damien knelt next to her, "maybe the fumes went to the drug makers heads, and they thought Blitz was an extraterrestrial when he was sneaking around earlier. He's got the right head shape, minus the horns."
"Ha Ha, very funny. Youd look like one of these so-called Men in black with that tacky piece of shit you call a suit. You're just not wearing your dumbass sunglasses. So, kiss my alien ass" The sarcasm oozed from blitz words, "c'mon Loonie lets look for some fun stuff in there!"
"Me and blitz are going to check out the center trailer for loot. It looks like the blasts didn't claim it so come inside once you're finished with your dumb human notions of mercy." She disappeared alongside blitz to see if there was anything interesting to pilfer before they departed.
Damien did another Walkthrough of the area thinking that was the last one when he heard someone gasp. a woman in one of the MIB suits sat up slowly. He shouldered his smg and advanced rapidly not wanting to chance her becoming a Threat. As soon as he reached her however, the sound of a revolver being primed made him freeze. He practically felt cold steel against his back.
"Not another step. Drop the gun."
Damien put the gun on the ground and stood back up with his hands raised.
"Now kick it to the lady in front of you."
Damien kicked Moxxie's gun over wincing at the sound of the metal on gravel. There were definitely scratches in the piece now. Moxxie would not be happy. The woman grabbed it eagerly and got to her feet.
"Which one of you has the key to our car." The voice demanded.
"I do"
"Hand them over to the lady as well."
Damien dug through his pockets and threw her the keys as well.
"Alright 10 were taking this one with us."
The lady known as 10 joined mason and gestured for Damien to turn around. when he did, he saw another man in a black suit but unlike the others he didn't wear sunglasses. and the best part is that he knew this person. The messy brunette hair, freckles, and square framed glasses were a dead giveaway. He glanced behind him and wondered if Loona and Blitz had seen what was going on. He slowly put himself between Mason and where the porch of the trailer was.
"You got to be fuckin kidding me!" Damien looked at Mason the contempt on his face clear, "what the fuck are you doing dealing with meth heads?!"
Mason glared back equally as disgusted, " what are you doing rolling around with a demonic hit squad?!"
"It's a long story!" sure enough he heard commotion from inside the building and the door creaking quietly.
"As if it would be a short one." Mason waved at Damien with his revolver, "Get moving."
"Listen to me Mason I don't want to have to kill you. You and your friends are not on the list just take the ride and go."
"You're not in a position to negotiate now are you." Mason said, "Also wow way to talk to a friend after not speaking for a couple years."
"The fact that I'm not moving out of the way speaks volumes."
Mason was wondering what he meant when he saw the demon and another human on the porch waiting for Damien to get clear. Agent 10 was free game however and a single shot rang out dropping her instantly.
"Fine." Mason Begrudgingly put his revolver back in its holster, "there's always next time."
"Don't shoot guys." Damien called out as mason started walking back to the car.
Blitz And Loona rushed up to him
"What the fuck was that about!" Blitz felt like he could slap the shit out of Damien at the moment, "he Had a fucking gun on you and you protected him. Are you Insane!?"
"I went to high school with that guy. Also, I think they might have been with that organization you were talking about."
"Your friends a Dhork?" Loona asked dead pan.
"Let's take this conversation home. Missions over." Blitz looked around uncertainly, "if they are Dhorks agents they already called for backup."
Loona raised her head and her ears stood straight up, "Already here!"
"Shit!" blitz pushed them both ahead of himself as they ran back towards the trailer, "Loona call in a portal, Damien get to cover and get ready to shoot!"
Inside the trailer it was barren except for some couches and a table in the middle of the room.
"Fuck! The gun is still back there!"
"There's plenty back in the office. moxxie can handle losing one gun!"
"How am I going to help you hold off an assault without a weapon?!"
Loona tossed him the gun she took from the body earlier, "Here."
"I can't use this I'm shit with handguns."
Through the window Damien saw two Blacked out vehicles in the distance. He recognized the flat black paint and box-like design instantly. Bear-cats, armored vehicles normally issued to Swat units. The one in front even had a turret fitted to its roof.
"Damnit blitz! Mabey if you had stayed in the office like you said you would Dhorks wouldn't even be here right now!" Loona sent a text back to the office.
Busting out the nearest window with the barrel of her Ak loona Growled as the magazine emptied then gave a confused whine when she noticed that the vehicles were still closing in.
"Get away from the window Loona!" Blitz pulled her back before the window shattered from a hail of bullets. "This Definitely isn't the same group of chuckle fucks we fought last time. maybe it's not such a good idea for you to go out on your own just yet."
"They're only here because of you Blitz! Satan Bless how am I ever going to strike out on my own if you keep interfering like this. The mission was simple enough. Kill a bunch of crackheads and go home. It's not like we were the ones double dipping."
"Double dipping?" Damien looked at Blitz.
"It's when you portal in and out of a location more than once. Here lately these assholes have somehow figured out how to pinpoint where we portal in. they've been getting better about showing to our crime scenes faster as well." Blitz grit his teeth," I thought we'd at least have till night fall this time."
"We could be closer to their corporate overlords. Mabey that's why they're better equipped." Loona glanced down to look at the text she had received, "Millies calling it in now."
From the sounds outside the bearcats were offloading their passengers and numerous pairs of boots were hitting the gravel outside surrounding the building. In the middle of the floor Millies portal manifested and as soon as it finished forming the three dove through landing in a pile just as smoke grenades were lobbed in through the now decimated window.
Blitz sprang up looking for the book "close It! Close the fuckin portal before any of that nasty ass Truth serum contaminates my fucking office!"
Millie quickly shut the book, therefore also closing the portal and ending the mission.
The Imp came over and helped Damien into a sitting position, "Wow Did you guys have fun or what? Looks like things were heating up out there!"
"Going to have to vote on the or what. I need a smoke break." Lonna put up a hand to blitz who was starting to dig through his suit pocket, "Alone!"
"Just thankful to be alive!" Damien winced, "bit afraid to tell moxxie I lost the gun though."
Millie snorted, "don't be silly, Mox has a gazillion of the things!"
"Which one?" Asked Moxxie who just came in from the conference room.
His face was oddly calm, but his voice was saying otherwise.
Later In the small town of Engel Valley
Agent 3 and Mason sat across the table from a blonde girl in a coffee shop. The blonde had an air of authority and was dressed in professional attire. Agent three seemed annoyed at the sight of her but said nothing. The coffee shop seemed weirdly empty especially considering that it belonged to masons parents and he knew that it would normaly be full of patrons at this time of day.
"And you Drove 3 hours to tell me about a sighting why? I wanted you to bring him back alive." The girl said stirring her cup of tea. "If im to sign your paychecks I want results not reports."
"Were staying vigilant and keeping an eye out. Next time we'll shoot him if we have to." Agent 3 nudged the unofficial agent next to him, "wont we agent 5?"
"You look familiar. Have we met before." his eyes then widened as he put two and two together before the woman could say it out loud.
"You just met my twin Brother." She drank from her tea, "we have some unfinished business. And Id rather not have to get my hands dirty with this demon nonsense. ill finish my business here with the sheriff then return to Hq. "
A/N: Holy shit that was a long chapter and I can only hope it was at least enjoyable for you guys. I had fun writing it though so I guess thats all that matters. Have a great day!
