Venom knocks out Harry Osborn and he lands on pipes, which make a clattering noise, causing Venom to chitter and yelp from the sounds, as it is immune to sound. Harry is fully incapacitated.

Peter Parker/Spider-Man: Eddie, don't do this!

Venom stabs Peter, killing him. He tosses him down the construction site and MJ sees his body and starts crying. Harry wakes up.

Harry Osborn/New Goblin: Pete, where are you? Pete! PETER! PETE!! Where are you? Peter and Venom are nowhere to be found. Screaming is heard. Venom jumps at Harry, and he stabs at Venom. Venom is about to kill Harry, but he free falls off the construction site, and his Glider comes back to Harry. He sees the blood on the glider and gets angry. What did you do to Peter? (Breaking down crying) Where is Peter?

He grabs two pumpkin bombs and throws it at Venom. The pumpkin bombs destroy Venom, who screams, and he obliterates. And Harry goes down to the construction site where Peter is and he sees him.

Harry: How are you doing, pal?

Peter: I couldn't do it. I couldn't save Uncle Ben, but I saved you two. I did it.

He looks at Harry and MJ, and dies. MJ cries.

Flint Marko/Sandman (approaching them): I didn't want this but I had no choice.

Harry: What are you talking about?

Flint: I'm sorry. He seemed like a good man.

Harry: He was.

Flint: Let me explain. He was mad at me because he believes I killed his Uncle. My daughter was dying. I needed the money. I told his Uncle I wanted his car. He said, "Why don't you put the gun down and go home?" I didn't realize what I was doing, and when I saw my partner with the cash and the gun was in my hand, I felt really terrible about it. I replayed that night over in my head for many nights.

Harry: We've all done terrible things. I forgive you. (Gesturing to himself and M.J.) We forgive you. And I'm sure would forgive you.

Sandman nods and turns to sand and leaves.

The next day, the funeral for Peter has concluded. Nearly everybody is there, J. Jonah Jameson, Robbie Robertson, M.J., Harry, Flash Thompson, Gwen Stacy, Aunt May, and several others. Aunt May, M.J., and Harry are crying as Peter's tombstone reads "Peter Benjamin Parker: Beloved Friend, Nephew, and Boyfriend: August 11, 1984 ~ 2005".

Mary Jane "M.J." Watson (to Harry and Aunt May): Should we tell people about Peter's—other life?

Aunt May: Yes, we should. We should reveal this.

Later, as Flint looks at Peter's funeral after everybody leaves.

Flint: I'm sorry. I wish I could have told you the truth. And I'm sorry, (to May) about what happened to your nephew and uncle.

May: It's okay. I understand. Harry and Mary Jane told me.

Flint: I'm sorry, Ben. I hope you know I live with that guilt for the rest of my life.

Harry (to M.J.): If you want, you can get a job in Hollywood. We could go.

M.J.: Yes.

They leave.

The next day, "Spider-Man's Secret Identity Revealed: Masked Menace's Identity Revealed".

In the afterlife, Peter arrives.

Peter (to a figure with white hair): Uncle Ben?

Peter cries and hugs Uncle Ben.

Uncle Ben: You did it. I'm proud of you, Peter. With great power comes great responsibility. Peter hugs Ben. I got two people you want to meet.

Richard Parker: Hey, Peter.

Mary Parker: It's us.

Peter: Mom? Dad?

He hugs them.
