I'm Not Satisfied with an Average Life

Warning: Nothing i can think of but if you think of any message me

Tsuraga Ren was heading home for the day. He took the back staircases. The only people he usually met on them were custodians.

He felt something hard hit his head. It wasn't large, but it certainly made an impact. It then bounced off his head and landed on the floor. He bent down to see what sort of object had assaulted him.

In his hand was a very familiar stone he stared at it. Hardly able to comprehend what it meant he stared at the blue stone in his hand.

"CORN!"

Without thinking about it his head snapped up to look at who had spoken. It was Sasagawa-san.

There was no way that she was the Kyoko-chan he remembered.

She didn't even seem to notice him. She was frantically feeling the ground.

Sawara-san, the Manager of the talent section stumbled down the stairs Sasagawa-san had just been on.

He had to know if Sasagawa Kyoko was his Kyoko-chan. Ren cleared his throat.

Sasagawa-san whipped around, "Have you seen a stone? It's blue with a purple cast to it. It's sort of oval shaped."

"Is it yours?" Ren couldn't help, but ask.

Sasagawa-san snapped back insisting that the stone was hers. Sawara-san then asked why she'd named it. Sasagawa-san told a very familiar story. She began to cry. That was familiar too.

Ren and a small smile on his face as he rubbed the stone in his hand. He then bent down and pretended to pick up something off the floor between his feet. He then straightened.

"Is this it?" he held out his hand with the stone in it.

Sasagawa-san's smile when she recognized the stone made his stomach flip. She thanked him, but he had to be sure.

"Did you perhaps live in Kyoto?" He asked.

The look on Sasagawa-san's face told him she did without her answering.

"Am I wrong?" he continued, knowing he wasn't.

"Yes I did." Sasagawa-san spoke.

Having the confirmation he needed, Ren decided to mess with her.

"Then you should know that stones like that are mined in Kyoto. Haven't you seen something similar in souvenir shops? Man, you're pretty easily fooled. If you continue on like that bad man will deceive you and break your heart." he shook his head and began to walk away.

He saw her eye twitch. A grin stretched across his face.

Sasagawa-san completely ignored him and said her farewells to Sawara-san.

"So, someone's already tricked you. Is that why you want to take revenge?" He asked.

Sasagawa-san turned and glared at him.

"You look like you want to say that you were never deceived. But honestly, in this industry if someone guesses at the truth you and you don't deny it. You're basically confirming it. If you want to be famous you have to learn to deal with things like that." He offered some advice.

Kyoko gritted her teeth. The thing that pissed her off the most was the fact that what he said was good, sound advice.

She backed away from Tsuraga Ren. Kyoko then made a gesture that she had often seen Gokudera when he was pissed at someone. She escaped up the stairs before he could register what she did.

Kyoko spent the next month waiting for the other shoe to drop. She didn't run into him for a while.

She and Kotonami-san were approached to appear on TV as audience members for a show hosted by other LME talent.

Kyoko ended up in a chicken mascot costume. The guest star on the show was Fuwa Sho.

Kyoko could admit her faults. She did everything in her power to ensure he looked bad. It didn't turn out in her favor. She ended up running into Tsuruga-san in the depths of the studio.

They spoke and when he didn't know it was her Kyoko saw a whole new side of the man. He told her that even he didn't start off perfect.

Kyoko ended up staying on the job. The ratings apparently loved her character, Bo. Having the extra income was certainly nice.

Kyoko had called Chrome to tell her about everything that had been happening to her. In turn Chrome told Kyoko what had been going on in Italy.

Chrome had been finding herself. She had broken away from the mold everyone had put her in. Chrome had even gotten a boyfriend, not that Rokudo-san was happy about that.

Chrome had even gone shopping with Bianchi, Haru, and Hana to figure out what styles of clothing she liked as well as what looked good on her.

Kyoko enjoyed hearing about Chrome becoming herself.

Kyoko exited the filming studio when she spotted him, Tsuruga-san. For a moment Kyoko forgot about the rude gesture she had made almost a month and a half ago.

I want to know more about the real Tsuruga-san. I want to see more of the faces that others don't see. She thought

Kyoko noticed others staring at her. She looked up. Tsuraga-san was staring at her too. They made eye contact. He began taking long strides toward her.

Kyoko turned on her heel and sped walked away. It was obvious he was gaining on her. She looked for an escape, the women's restroom.

He caught her right before she could scurry into her hiding hole.

"It's been awhile, Sasagawa-san. Don't you think it's a bit rude to not greet me, even after our eyes met. I am your senior at LME." As Tsuraga-san spoke Kyoko could picture the glare that was hidden behind his gentlemanly facade.

Kyoko bowed, still not facing him.

"Wrong way."

She turned to face him, still bowing, "How are you today?"

"Oh, no rude gestures today?"

Kyoko began to sweat. He still remembers. How unforgiving.

"You just thought that I was unforgiving didn't you?"

"Nooo?" Kyoko grimaced.

Tsuraga-san smiled and seemed to sparkle. Kyoko knew what hid behind it.

"Okay, I thought that." Kyoko admitted.

Kyoko stepped into the audition waiting room. The rude girl from earlier was disparaging Kotonami-san and she was saying nothing in defense of herself. It was very out of character for the other LoveMe member.

The rude girl obviously had money and had lots of it.

She stole the spotlight with her family name rather than any real talent.

The other girls auditioning made such a fuss that they said for everyone to come back the next day.

Kyoko was slightly traumatized from the other girls. Kotonami-san seemed even more upset. Kyoko could tell it wasn't about the audition though, not really.

"You know if you keep acting like this. That girl will actually win." Kyoko told the girl sitting next to her.

"It doesn't matter, I'm not going to come back." Kotonami-san grumbled.

"What? Why not? If we work hard, there's still a chance" Kyoko stared at this stranger.

"You don't get it!" Kotonami-san shouted, "She always does this. Whenever I'm about to move up in the industry she comes in and blocks my way. I can't compete with money! She's always doing something behind the scenes to stop me. The main parts become her because of her family. She even made it so I couldn't join the drama club in middle school. She doesn't want me to see the light of the day, much less put me in the spotlight."

Kyoko looked up at Kotonami-san, "Then why are you quitting? If you do that she'll always be able to stifle your dreams."

Kotonami-san turned away from her, "It doesn't matter. She's just going to buy the director's favor, like always. Everybody's like that-"

Kyoko looked at her hand. She had smacked Kotonami-san. It just pissed her off. Lots of people were like that. But Kyoko knew more people that weren't.

"If nothing else there's one thing you can't buy, talent. Which you have more of in your pinky toe than she does her entire body. Both of us failed the LME auditions but look at us. We're both still at LME, because the president himself couldn't deny our talent! You don't know what the future holds. And can you say that you honestly ever truly stood up to her? Because the Kotonami-san I know wouldn't take half the things she said sitting down. You want to be an actress, but that won't happen if you can stand up to one measly rich girl. Fight back!" Kyoko told her.

"Fight back, how?" Kotonami-san asked.

Kyoko's brain scrambled trying to think of a solution then something Tsuraga-san said to her a few days ago came to the surface.

"Kotonami-san we have something no one else does. Something that draws people's attention no matter what."

"No, not that!"

The next day both of them came in with the eye-catching jumpsuit that marked them as a member of the LoveMe section.

They drew ballots for some reason and Kotonami-san and she had been paired together in a twist of fate.

The pink uniforms certainly caught the eye of the director.

He explained how the audition was going to work and Kyoko and Kotonami-san were separated in order to make things "fair".

She and Kotonami-san were supposed to be two friends that were fighting over the same boy.

When they were allowed to meet up, Kyoko was a bundle of nerves.

"Work with me, okay, Kyoko-chan." Kotonami-san asked right before the timer started.

Kotonami-san glared at her and Kyoko glared back. Kotonami-san then slapped her, hard. Kyoko went to slap her back, but Kotonami-san stared at her hand, horrified with what she'd done. Kyoko let her hand fall as Kotonami-san started crying.

Kyoko kneeled down to where Kotonami-san had fallen to the floor, "I'm sorry."

Kotonami-san then stood and bowed and thanked them for the time. Kyoko followed suit.

She rubbed her cheek as they waited for the rest of the pairs to go.

The next challenge was to reconcile. Kyoko would be leading. She wasn't sure what to do. She considered all the fights she and Hana got into. Kyoko usually ended up apologizing to Hana even when she wasn't the one in the wrong.

She thought of their cake days. Sometimes she would feed Hana- that was it.

Kyoko was ready to go. But when Erika, Kotonami-san's enemy, went before them she took Kyoko's idea to share a drink.

But that didn't stop Kyoko. She took both a can and bottle and shook them up as hard as she could.

"Okay we're ready." Kyoko told the board.

Kotonami-san looked at her like she was crazy when Kyoko handed her the bottle. She repeated the word Kotonami-san had said to her.

When the time started she turned away from Kotonami-san. She shook her bottle some more before whipping around and spraying fizz and soda all over the other girl.

"It's payback," she said, patting her cheek that still stung a little as she glared.

Kyoko then gave a mischievous grin and stuck out her tongue, "You know I was joking, right?"

Kotonami-san flushed a little, "Stop messing around with me!"

She went to spray Kyoko with her soda too, but failed and just got more soda all over herself.

Kyoko had meant to giggle a little and continue with the scene, but seeing Kotonami-san that flustered was so funny she broke out into full laughter.

Kotonami-san looked at her and started laughing too. Soon the whole room was laughing. Kotonami-san stopped laughing.

"Do you forgive me?" She asked.

In lieu of an answer Kyoko made a motion and the two knocked their drinks against each other's.

"Thank you." Kotonami-san smiled softly.

They got the roles. Kyoko was proud of both of them. She convinced Kotonami-san to get ice-cream together to celebrate and they actually became friends instead of just co-workers.

Kyoko had been assigned as Tsuraga-san's manager because his regular one, Yashiro-san, was out with a cold. He wasn't too happy about it. He even said Kyoko wasn't capable of it. Kyoko has basically been her brother's personal manager since he started the boxing club.

But at every turn Tsuraga-san found a way to do the job she should be. He carried his own luggage. He protected her from his fans. He already knew his whole schedule. He even paid for her dinner.

Kyoko was ashamed at not being able to do her job when she got a call from the president.

"Pick up your phone faster Sasagawa-san! I've been calling you all day. I had good news, but I don't even know if I want to tell you anymore." The president cried over the phone.

"I'm sorry. I didn't want to disturb filming, so I put it on vibrate. I want to hear your good news." Kyoko reassured the man.

"Okay, I'll tell you. I found a high school for you to attend if you want. It's willing to work around the schedule you have." the man said.

"Yes, please President. I'm interested." Kyoko exclaimed.

Kyoko picked up the study books the next day. She knew all of the material, but couldn't help obsessing over each question.

Every moment of spare time she had she was filling out study guides.

When she wasn't engrossed with school she watched Tsuraga-san. He had been clearing and rubbing his throat a lot. What convinced Kyoko he had a cold was when he got tea instead of coffee like he normally did the past few days.

She approached Tsuruga-san with her findings and he denied the truth.

"Tsuruga-san there's no shame in having a cold. It's a good thing, you know. Because I've heard that the only people that can't catch colds are idiots." Kyoko told the man sincerely.

He still didn't believe her after that. But the next day he had a fever.

"Tsuraga-san, what did I tell you? You have a cold. Honestly, you're so stubborn. I bet you want work even in this condition." Kyoko grumbled.

She had always been surrounded by stubborn people. She was correct. Tsuraga-san did want to continue working with his cold. He did apologize for not listening sooner. Which touched Kyoko's heart.

He was filming a rain scene that was just going to make his cold worse. Kyoko knew she had to do something. While Ren was filming Kyoko ran to a store to get things to take care of Tsuruga-san. She knew from talking to the Head of the acting section of LME that Tsuruga-san didn't take care of himself.

When Kyoko got back with her bags of groceries Tsuruga-san was coaching his costar through her lines. Kyoko got to work preparing for when they were done shooting.

Am I the only person he treats so harshly? If I were to mess up a line so many times there's no way he'd be this nice. When he does give me advice it's so condescending.

Kyoko took care of Tsuruga-san. She made sure to change out cold patches to keep his fever down. She made him nutritional food that wouldn't hurt his throat. She made sure he was constantly hydrating. She even made sure he changed into his pajamas.

It wasn't easy. At one point Tsuruga-san's fever got so bad the only way she could get him to make him was saying lines from the movie he was working on at the time.

Even though it was exhausting it made Kyoko happy it reminded her of simpler times when she had to make sure Ryohei-nii wasn't overdoing training.

Kyoko was still studying like mad any chance she got, but she often got distracted by Tsuruga-san acting abilities.

Earlier that day he had asked her if she hated him. Kyoko honestly didn't know the answer to that. She didn't like how he acted sometimes, but she didn't think she hated him.

There were people she hated. Her negative feelings toward them didn't measure up to Tsuruga-san. She definitely didn't hate him. Maybe she just didn't like him.

Kyoko took out her Tsuruga-san doll. Using a mocking tone she scolded herself for not understanding her own feelings.

"Ventriloquism, you're pretty good." Tsuruga-san said.

Kyoko froze. He saw!

Tsuraga Ren picked up the plush version of himself. It was well made. He set it into her bag. The script for the next episode was already on the table. He picked that up and slipped out of the room to do a small read through.

He was having trouble focusing on the words on the page in front of him. The only words he could make out were ironically the very thing he said to Sasagawa-san that morning.

"Do you hate me that much?"

He knew it was cruel to have asked her that. But it just slipped out. He thought about it.

If she hated him she wouldn't take care of him the way she did. But the more she hated something the harder she worked to perfect it. That's the way she had been as a child at least. It was a good trait to have.

But what good was revenge? How would that help her in the long run?

He wouldn't be so upset if she just wanted to learn to act for herself. He might just…

Might just… what?

Ren looked back down at the script. He had to focus. Thinking about Sasagawa-san was pointless.

The script was more important than why she was acting.

"We still have the forty-eight hour deadline." He mumbled trying to get the inflection to what he wanted.

He repeated the line again. With the fever it was harder to get the right tone.

"If the cops have a search warrant…" Ren gave a frustrated sigh.

"You want to give up?" Someone said incredulously.

"We can't do anything." Ren replied, exhausted.

He stood up and walked down the stairs carefully so he didn't teeter or fall.

"I can't believe I'm hearing the same thing over and over!"

The person talking was Sasagawa-san. The way she was obviously furious just by her tone. The way she spat out the name with such hatred.

"Yazaki-san is your enemy. He murdered your father! You've hated him for the past fifteen years! If you don't hunt him down, who will?"

The way she said the lines was perfect. Amazing. How long had she been taking classes at LME?

"I'm the one who should be angry. The prefecture took Yazaki away from us!" Ren defended himself.

"So what… the prefecture is persecuting him for something else entirely so who cares!" Sasagawa shouted hotly.

"We're prosecuting him for robbery and murder. That'll be statute-barred soon." Ren explained.

Was Sasagawa-san really an amateur who just learned how to act not even six months ago?

"You want to go against the prefecture police?" Ren asked.

He had reached the bottom step and turned to see Sasagawa-san crouched beneath the stairs.

She gave him a wicked smile, "Of course."

Was that really the sort of skill level one would acquire solely for revenge?

When Ren didn't respond with the next line Sasagawa-san gave him a confused look.

"Your acting skills. In a very short amount of time they've improved substantially. You captured the character's role. Your expressions are good. Even your lines are spot on." Ren praised.

Sasagawa-san lit up. She explained what lesson she learned from. She smiled so brightly at how proud of herself she was.

"But you learned to act for revenge against Fuwa Sho." Ren said, confused at this change in character.

Kyoko stared for a second. Her aura had started to slither out at the mention of her ex-friend. Then she realized what Tsuraga-san said.

"No way! My goal wasn't to get revenge when I learned acting. Who would do it because of him?" Kyoko exclaimed.

Well, it was at first.

"Then, what is it?" Tsuraga-san asked.

"Maybe, to create a new Sasagawa Kyoko. My whole life almost everything I did was to make others happy. I never did anything I really wanted. I've lived for other people until now." Kyoko smiled sadly.

Everything was done with others in mind. Pleasing Mother. Making Sho's parents happy. Keeping Ryohei-nii safe. Having Hana-chan feel more comfortable. Pleasing her adopted parents.

"But acting… makes me happy. I feel like it's for me. It's different. I'm creating a new self. One I can be proud of. I want to experience more, absorb more and make my world a little bit bigger."

I want to become the real me.

"I guess that's why I act. You don't have to believe me.." Kyoko looked up.

Tsuruga-san was smiling at her. His eyes were soft as he gazed at her. It made Kyoko's heart flutter a little. Having so much warmth directed at her, it made her feel special.

"No, I believe you." The smile never left his face.

Even when he's sick and has a headache because of a fever he puts his all into acting. All because he loves it so much. It makes me admire him even more. I hope one day I can be like him.

Ren looked at the girl at his coffee table. Study books were spread around her. She had fallen asleep. The pencil that had been in her hand had fallen out of her loosened grip and rolled onto the floor.

He had gotten up to refill his water bottle when he found her like that. He sat down at the table with her. He tugged a little at her bedhead.

"Excuse me Sasagawa-kun, you're going to be the one with a cold if you sleep here. Go to sleep in the guestroom. There's a bed in there with an attached bathroom." He said as he rubbed the strands of her hair between his fingers.

Sasagawa-san blinked at him bleary-eyed. Then she let out a little scream.

"What kind of reaction was that?" Ren asked with a huff.

She averted her eyes, "No-nothing."

Ren glanced at the books spread across the table.

"Have you slept at all since you got these things?" He gave Sasagawa-san a concerned look.

"Well, no, but the president was kind enough to arrange for a place for me to study. And I haven't studied all day because I was distracted by your acting." Sasagawa-san responded defensively.

"Why are you acting like you have to be perfect?" Ren shook his head.

Sasagawa-san looked like she had an epiphany. She then slumped over on herself. Her body began to shake. Ren worried she might start crying, but instead she laughed.

Ren couldn't help the smile that graced his face. It was nice knowing she was healing just like he was.

"You know working hard is good and all, but overworking is terrible. Someone could faint during the day of the test." He mentioned casually.

Sasagawa-san looked taken aback and then panicked.

Was I right? Did she do that?

"My body's not as bad tonight. I'm almost better. So why don't you take a bath and sleep in a bed instead of slumped over a table." Ren offered the girl.

She looked as if he had just offered her heaven. She paused and fidgeted a little.

"Taking a bath in a man's house is… a little.." Sasagawa-san squirmed.

Ren shrugged his shoulders, "You think I might peek in your bath? I'm not interested in underage girls."

"Good! Then I'll go take a bath!" Sasagawa-san proclaimed.

Her face was flushed as she turned to stomp down the hall. Ren shook his head. He could understand her being cautious. But he had no desire to bother anyone that was as exhausted as her; it went double because she was underage.

Kyoko twirled around in her school uniform. The green skirt laid just below her knee. She knew it was old school to have it so long, but she had problems with people looking up her skirt in middle school.

Her school was filled with students who also worked in show business. They made a big deal whenever they had to leave class early for work. A girl in her class, Nanokura Mimori, made snide comments to Kyoko all the time. Commenting how often she was in school and implying she only got work because of her company's name.

Kyoko had to leave early to work on Bridge Rock. As she got to the studio she got a call on her phone. She didn't recognize the number. She assumed it was Sawara-san; she answered.

"Hi… it does a while for you to answer your phone. Also I know you just came from school, but you might want to pack something that makes you look less like a truant." Tsuruga-san's voice came out from the phone.

Kyoko looked around for the man. He must be in viewing distance if he could see her. He wouldn't be in a crowd. That was just asking to get mobbed. She looked up. On one of the studio upper levels, Yashiro-san was waving at her. Tsuraga-san was leaning over the railing looking down at her. Kyoko made her way up.

"Kyoko-san, I saw the commercial you were in. Congratulations, you looked cute." Yashiro-san smiled at her.

"Thank you very much." Kyoko gave a small bow.

"Ah Tsuraga-san, how did you get my number?" She asked straightening up.

"I've been looking for you so Sawara-san gave me your number," the man answered.

"Looking for me?" Kyoko was confused.

"I've been pretty busy and didn't have time to call until now. But Sawara-san told me you had a LoveMe job today so I came to meet you here." Tsuruga-san ignored Kyoko's question.

"Why?" Kyoko tilted her head.

"You're uniform… I wanted to see the fruits of your labor. It suits you, the uniform." Tsuruga-san answered.

Kyoko gave a little spin skirt flaring out.

"Honestly, I was a little disappointed that it wasn't sailor style. It's almost identical to my middle school uniform... But, it feels good to be in school again." Kyoko brushed invisible dirt off the uniform.

"Ren is right about the fruits of your labor. I heard from the president that you got 100s across the board. He was bragging like you were his own child." Yashiro-san cut in.

"Thank you, but Tsuruga-san helped me a lot. His words freed me from the pressure I put myself under. Although your words might have been common sense to you, I have to thank you." Kyoko bowed to the dark haired man.

"Not at all. Another reason I needed to see you is I haven't given you the points for your assignment." Tsuruga-san replied.

Kyoko handed him her LME workbook. She fidgeted as he looked at the stamps. Yashiro-san must have noticed how nervous she was as he began to speak.

"I was really impressed with how well you took care of Ren. Have you done that before?" He asked.

"Not a sick person. I have a brother and he's a boxer. I always took care of him. It wasn't so different from taking care of Tsuruga-san. Although now that I think about it was Gokudera-san, right?" Kyoko mumbled the last part to herself.

"What was that?" Yashiro-san's eyebrows scrunched together.

"An acquaintance of mine said my brother was an idiot. And I've always heard that idiots don't catch colds. Ryohei-nii has never been sick. Except for when he got hurt." Kyoko explained.

"I'm done," Tsuraga-san handed the book back.

There was a 100 point stamp. There was also a -10 point stamp. Then there was a note that said "=90 points". Kyoko fumed.

"Tsuruga-san you clearly stamped 100 points, why does it say 90?" Kyoko exclaimed.

"I just made a mistake." He said as he began to walk away, but Kyoko caught the hint of a smile.

"Liar!"

Kyoko looked in the mirror; she had picked out a few outfits to wear to production. She had tried on all of them. She decided on her LoveMe jumpsuit. As much as she hated the color with a burning passion the jumpsuit felt like armor to her.

Kyoko was getting annoyed. She had been waiting for the meeting to start for almost an hour and she was the only one in the room forty-five minutes later.

The door opened and it was Sho. Kyoko's aura told her to pretend to be a different person. She considered it for a moment, but didn't. She was past that, being someone she wasn't

"Hey Sho, long time no see." Kyko smiled.

"Kyoko?" Sho looked bewildered.

"That's me."

He brought her to a room with two other women, one of which was Nanokura Mimori. The other was the producer, Asami Haruka.. They explained what the PV was about.

A Devil spys on two Angel's. He falls in love with one. That Angel falls in love with the Devil. The second Angel fears for her friend and kills the Devil which turns her into the very thing she hated.

Nanokura insisted on being the Angel that fell in love with the Devil. Kyoko was more than fine with that.

Watching Nanokura was like watching a past Kyoko. It was painful, but nothing could be done if Nanokura didn't see a problem.

After explaining the project they had lunch and then started the filming. The whole PV wouldn't be longer than four minutes so they would be able to film it all in one day.

Kyoko waited patiently to have her makeup done. The make up department had given Nanokura a straight blonde wig and blue contacts. Her makeup would look good on camera and look natural.

Her dress was a soft pink so pale it looked almost white. It was frilly with a cutesy feel. The waist corset gave it a more regal look without looking mature.

When Kyoko had her make up done there wasn't a huge difference in style between the two Angels. Kyoko's makeup had a more mature vibe. She also got blue contacts, but hers were more teal than blue. Her wig was blonde, slightly curled and was done in a pinned back style.

Her dress was mostly white with lilac accents. It flowed down her body and when she moved Kyoko felt magical.

Looking at Kyoko took his breath away. Sho could hardly believe it was her. He had never seen Kyoko walk with that elegance. She truly did look like an Angel.

When they started filming he couldn't take his eyes off of her. He knew it was Kyoko and yet it was like a stranger was wearing her skin.

As Shoko and Haruka talked to each other about Kyoko Sho walked toward the two Angels.

"Do something about that." Kyoko ordered nodding her head at Poochi.

Poochi was complaining about having to work with Kyoko. It was annoying. Couldn't that girl be more professional. It made Sho look bad. He was the one that suggested her for the role.

"Man, girls really don't get along with you." Sho mocked Kyoko.

"I have plenty of friends that are girls I'll have you know. They just don't live in Japan." Kyoko shouted.

"Yeah, that sounds super true." Sho rolled his eyes.

"It is. Any trouble I had making female friends ended when I wasn't living with you anymore!" Kyoko said hotly.

Sho went silent.

"Stop thinking about how popular you were even as a child, you narcissist." Kyoko hissed, "I hate people like you! You don't even feel guilty."

"Why should I? Is it wrong for a person to have friends?" Sho protested.

"STOP TALKING ABOUT THINGS I CAN'T UNDERSTAND!" Poochi shouted.

Sho took Poochi aside to talk to her. It really was a pain.

"This Kyoko isn't even someone I can recognize. She's just an enemy to me." Sho reassured the girl.

"Can you really say that?" Poochi asked.

Sho gave her an exasperated look.

"It's just… when she came out in her costume you looked like… she was your personal Angel." Poochi looked at the ground sadly.

After what Pooch said Sho couldn't stop looking at Kyoko. She was gorgeous and he didn't want to admit it.

"Who are you looking at?" Haruka asked.

Sho whipped his face to the side, "No one! My eyes only see my future."

Hakura shook her head, "That's no good, look at Kyoko-san."

"Never!" Sho yelped as the director forced him to look at his childhood friend.

Haruka sighed, "This is for your own good. Kyoko-san isn't just beautiful. She's an amazing actor. Look at Mimori-san. Just a moment ago she said she could never work with Kyoko. And now.."

Poochi was acting like she and Kyoko had known each other for years. It was astounding and terrifying. He would have to act against that.

Kyoko looked at the Devil. She has to kill him. Her first step was delicate and then she strangled him.

Cut

She was being too violent, not Angel like. They sent her to take a break. She knew that already she just couldn't stop.

Kyoko resonated with the character of the Angel. Not because she was killing Sho. If it came down to it she was like Tsu-kun. She would kill for her friends. That was the problem.

Kyoko didn't know what to do. She scolded herself with her Tsuruga-san doll. It didn't help her focus on how to not be so violent.

She stared down at the doll. Without even realizing what she had done she called the man. She even asked Sawara-san for his number to do so.

It went to voicemail, of course it did. He was busy. He was probably working.

"Tsuraga-san, I'm sorry to disturb you while you're working. I had a question about the role I'm playing…" Kyoko trailed off

There was no way she could tell him she was in Sho's PV. She had just convinced him that she wasn't acting for revenge. When she accepted the job it wasn't for revenge. It was because like it or not Sho was a big name currently. And that name would get her more work.

But she had just gotten Tsuruga-san's trust and she didn't want him to take it away.

The beeping from the phone told her she had run out of time for a message. Kyoko was about to call back and tell him to ignore what she said when her phone rang. It was Chrome.

"Kyoko! Why did you leave a message like that? I thought you were hurt. Seriously, I traced the phone call and everything. You're just in some studio in Japan. You are so lucky that I didn't just go straight to your brother or to Boss. You really are suited to acting.. I've never met someone so dramatic. I was sleeping. I'll have you know!" Chrome complained.

Kyoko felt a smile creep across her face. Despite the yelling Kyoko knew she had been worried. It made her feel warm.

"I'm sorry Chrome-chan. I just… If you loved a man that was terrible for you and I… killed him for you even though you were in love with him… How would that make you feel?" Kyoko asked.

"What kind of question is that? If this is about Mukuro again… I swear to God." Chrome huffed, done with her friend.

"No, no. It's for a role. How would you feel if I were to do that?" Kyoko asked again.

Chrome thought about it for a moment and then answered. Her answer left Kyoko numb inside. She sat waiting for the team to call her back. She moved like a possessed woman.

When Sho tried to taunt her like before she froze. Chrome's words echoed in her head.

I'd hate you. Not forever, but our relationship would never be the same. I'd never trust you again. You were willing to act on my supposed best interests without talking to me. Who's to say the next time you do that it would actually be for me.

The scene was set. Kyoko took a delicate step forward. She felt a tear slide down her face taking mascara with it. She took another step. The Devil took a step back. Good he should be scared.

Kyoko reached out. Her touch was like a flower petal. Her fingers brushed against the Devil's neck. She wrapped her hands around that pale column.

Kyoko pushed. They were both teetering against the rocky tower. Her tears fell on the Devil's face. The mascara making them look inky. Her fingers tightened. She pushed hard.

The Devil fell. He was dead. She killed him. She saved her friend. But her friend would never look at her lovingly again. Kyoko crumbled down to her knees hiding her face in her hands.

She looked up with a twisted grin on her face. It then fell like the Devil. She let out an anguished scream.

Asami Haruka felt a shiver go down her spine. That scream, it made her heart ache. She knew she should be looking at Sho. She should be making sure he had his eyes closed, but she couldn't take her eyes off of Kyoko.

"C-CUT." She called out.

Ren looked at his phone. He had a voicemail. It was Sasagawa-san's number. She wouldn't call him for just anything. He looked around.

They were moving set pieces around. The crew wouldn't need him for a little bit.

He listened to the voicemail. It made no sense. She seemed to be asking for help, but how could he help her?

Ren called her back. She didn't pick up. Ren let out a frustrated sign.

"Problem, Ren?" Yashiro asked.

Kyoko looked at the girl that was a mess from just one hug. She couldn't help but feel bitter. The entire time she had been with Sho not once had he tried to comfort her while she was crying.

"Huh, I guess the only person not entitled to your comfort was me." Kyoko said watching Nanokura float away in a trance.

"Are you talking about when we were kids?" Sho scoffed

"Yep, you always froze with a stupid look on your face" Kyoko shrugged.

"That's! I just didn't know what I was supposed to do" Sho defended himself.

"I knew that. So I went somewhere you didn't have to see me cry." Kyoko walked away.

That's how I met Corn. Even though it was only a few days… It's my most precious memory.

"Wait, whenever you disappeared you were crying." Sho said.

"Don't interpret my beautiful memories!" Kyoko shouted.

The two argued and began to chase each other like children. Asami-san interrupted the two.

"Are you two dating?" The producer asked.

"What! No way, the only thing I feel for that person is hate!" The two said at the same time.

Sho continued to talk about his hatred. Kyoko noticed her phone was ringing. She picked up.

"Hello, Sasagawa-san speaking." Kyoko spoke into the phone.

"You finally picked up. It's me. Is now an inconvenient time?" Tsuruga-san's voice came out through the phone.

"Now is fine. Is there something wrong?" Kyoko asked.

"Aside from a message that doesn't make sense. I'm fine, but you didn't sound fine." Tsuruga-san replied.

"I'm sorry Tsuruga-san. Please don't let me bother you." Kyoko winced.

"It must have been something important. You got my number from LME." Tsuruga-san assured her.

"I figured it out in the end. It turned out alright in the end. And-" Kyoko started to say before the phone was ripped from her.

"She's happy because she was able to appear in my PV." Sho sneered into the phone before he hung up.

"Sho… you shit head." Kyoko hissed her aura leaking out.

Her tiny, little, spirits clawed at Sho muttering curses at him. He screeched as the lights in the hallway flickered.
