Naruto managed a faint smile before his eyes rolled back, and if it hadn't been for his master's grip, he would have collapsed to the ground. A loud cackle echoed inside his mind. "Did you think you were strong enough to bind me, fool?" the fox taunted. "I will eat you from the inside out. Your spirit and body are mine." Naruto's body twitched and contorted in pain. The fox's malevolent energy was overwhelming him, causing the boy to lose consciousness.

"Fight it!" the sage begged, desperation in his voice. But his pupil was no longer present. Instead, the fox came forth, its sinister smile mocking Jiraiya. With a flick of his wrist, the fox pulled the dagger from Naruto's abdomen and threw it aside, the blade clattering uselessly to the ground.

The fox's expression was one of gleeful malice as it looked into the older man's eyes. "Pathetic," it sneered, savoring the anguish on his face. "Your precious boy is gone. Now, this body belongs to me."

Jiraiya's heart sank, he tightened his grip on Naruto's shoulders, determined to reach his student. "you have to fight! Remember who you are!"

The fox laughed. "He's not here anymore"

Summoning all his strength, Jiraiya invoked his strongest spell. "Ancient spirits hear my plea. Aid me in this darkest hour." He chanted. The ground beneath them trembled, responding to his call.

"You think you can save him?" the fox hissed, its voice dripping with venom.

"I won't give up on him," the sage replied fiercely. "boy, come back to us. You are stronger than this."

Inside his mind, Naruto found himself in a dark, desolate landscape. The sky was ablaze with the same fire and chaos he had seen in his dreams. In the center stood the fox demon, its eyes gleaming with malevolence. "Welcome to your new home, mage," the demon sneered. "Let me kill all of your kind in this body, I'll let you watch."

Naruto's consciousness, though battered and weak, clung to the memories, to his love for his Sasuke, that waited for him at home, he had promised Sasuke he would return.

The fox demon roared, its form growing larger, its eyes blazing with fury. "You cannot defeat me! I am eternal!" it bellowed, lunging at Naruto with claws extended. The force of the attack sent him sprawling, pain ripping through his mind as the demon's clawed at his very soul. Naruto's vision blurred. The demon's presence was suffocating, its power overwhelming.

Jiraiya's voice cut through the chaos, clear and resolute.

"Naruto, you are stronger than this. Do not give in! Sasuke's waiting for you, you promised..."

The fox roared in fury as the blonde's resolve began to push back against its influence. Slowly, Naruto regained control, he knew it would be only for a few seconds.

"I can't hold on much longer," he admitted, his voice strained. "Please, tell Sasuke I fought with all my might and I'm sorry for breaking my promise not to leave him alone."

Jiraiya's heart broke at his student's words. Tears streamed down his face as he shook his head in denial. "No, Naruto, I can't—"

"Please," the mage implored, his eyes full of pain and sorrow

Jiraiya sobbed, but he knew what needed to be done. With a heavy heart, he ran for the discarded dagger, he took the weapon in his hand and, with a swift motion, plunged it through Naruto's heart. The boy grunted in pain and collapsed.

Jiraiya stood nearby, his own tears mingling with the rain. He had done what was necessary, but the cost was almost too much to bear.

As Naruto lay gravely injured, the magical barrier preventing Sasuke from reaching him weakened. He felt the shift immediately and soared through the sky toward the battlefield. His heart pounded in his chest as he saw Naruto's motionless form on the ground. Desperation fueled his flight, and he landed beside him, his wings folding as he fell to his knees.

"Stay with me," Sasuke whispered, his voice trembling. "I won't let you go. I can't lose you."

Naruto heard his beloved cry and with great effort, he opened his eyes. His vision was hazy, but he tried to focus on Sasuke's beautiful face.

"Naruto," he whispered, his voice trembling. "Do you remember the spell you were practicing when we first met?"

Naruto wanted to laugh, the memory of their first encounter surfacing in his mind. He had been a mere boy then, inexperienced and full of dreams. Despite the pain, he managed a faint smile. "I remember," he said, his voice barely audible. "How could I forget?"

Sasuke leaned forward, he touched his forehead to the boy. "Do you want to try that spell again?" - Naruto wheezed a laugh.

"I have to use a black candle, remember" - Sasuke wanted to laugh, he gently moved the boy to a sitting position and urged him to start.

"I ask the Great Mother to send me a special friend. Bringing love that knows no beginning, and no end…" Naruto groaned, he felt out of air.

"Bend the hands of time. Mend our hearts as one. Flame to flame, ashes to ashes…" - Sasuke continued, Naruto raised a curious brow, the god was changing the spell

"Warm and gentle, wildly wise… Uchiha Sasuke I bind you to me, to share a life, to share a soul, through endless time…"

Sasuke crashed his lips against Naruto's, a low white glow surrounded them, Sasuke's wings enveloped them as every wound slowly healed, a thin red thread wrapped around their pinky, binding them together.

As the light of the spell began to fade, Naruto and Sasuke found themselves gazing into each other's eyes. Naruto noticed a change in Sasuke. his otherworldly glow dimmed, and his beautiful black wings vanished from his back. The transformation was both breathtaking and heartbreaking.

"My love, your wings..." Naruto's voice trembled as he reached out, touching his face lovingly. "What have you done?"

Sasuke smiled softly, his eyes filled with warmth. "I've shared my immortality with you," he said. "I've given up my godly status to bind our souls together."

"Thank you," he whispered, his voice choked with emotion. "For such an immense sacrifice."

Sasuke's fingers gently traced the contours of the tan face. "Immortality means nothing if you're not there with me," he replied. "I'd rather live a mortal life by your side than an eternity without you."

Tears welled in the blue eyes as Naruto pulled Sasuke into a tender embrace. "I love you," he murmured, his voice filled with conviction.

Sasuke nestled his head against the other's chest, feeling the steady rhythm of his heartbeat. "I love you too, Naruro"

They stood together in the midst of the battlefield, the remnants of their struggle fading into the background.
