CHAPTER 9

"Today we will be staying here."

Naruto looked at Jiraiya as Jiraiya saw a girl wink at him and ran off to her. The girl was obviously in a Genjutsu as there was no way that a Girl would ever love the Pervy Sage.

But Naruto did not stop him as he wanted to know who the person that was trying to separate him and Jiraiya were. And who their target was. He took the room key from Jiraiya as he went into their room. He waited and used his Kenbunshoku to see if there was anyone that would approach their room.

He felt two strong voices walk towards his room. He felt Sasuke's Voice in the Hotel too. Why was Sasuke here? That did not matter as currently the one that he had to focus on were the two people that were approaching his room. Naruto opened the door and saw the person that had come.

He saw the Sharingan and instantly recognised him.

"Itachi Uchiha. What do you want with me?"

Behind him was Kisame. Naruto felt Kisame's Chakra and it was like that of Ichibi. It would be hard to defeat them, if they fought.

"Naruto, we would like you to come with us?"

Naruto walked out. He felt Sasuke's Voice approach them. It seemed that Itachi had too.

"It has been a while, Sasuke."

Sasuke did not respond. He created a Chidori and rushed at Naruto. Naruto got ready to help him but he felt his Chakra get eaten by Kisame's Sword. That meant that using Ninjutsu was useless against Kisame. It was a good thing that Naruto had a ton of Taijutsu moves. But would he be able to battle not just one but two S-Rank Missing he felt Jiraiya's Voice coming so he was not worried.

Sasuke spun as he planted a kick on Itachi's face. Itachi kicks Sasuke to the wall before Choking him. Naruto felt Itachi gather Chakra into his eyes. He used Kawarimi when he switched with Sasuke.

Now he was the one that was looking straight into Itachi's Mangekyo. But Itachi had already begun casting the Jutsu. And it was Naruto that was affected.

"It was foolish of you to go to Kawarimi with Sasuke. Not even Kakashi was able to stand after this."

Naruto smirked. He had just the technique for this.

"Kiai."

Naruto gave a shout as he unleashed a little bit of his Physical Energy from his body. A shockwave occurred as Itachi was pushed back.

"You did good holding on until I came. Kuchiyose: Gamaguchi Shibari."

Jiraiya came and stood beside Naruto. Jiraiya slammed his hand on the ground as the surroundings changed into pink flesh.

"Too bad, Itachi, Kisame. You are already in my stomach."

Itachi looked at Jiraiya.

"Come, Kisame. We need to escape."

Kisame was hesitant but decided to follow after his partner. Sasuke rushed to Naruto as he helped Naruto up. Sasuke knew the effect of being in the Jutsu. Well Naruto was not affected by the Jutsu but because he used Kiai.

Jiraiya went behind Itachi and Kisame to see that they had escaped after burning a hole through the Wall using a black flame. Jiraiya sealed the flames and walked back to see Naruto standing up. He realised that Naruto was suffering from Chakra Exhaustion. Jiraiya pulled out a Soldier Pill and fed it to Naruto.

"Alright. Now everyone is okay after that attack?"

Sasuke was angry as he was still weak enough. And Naruto had protected him and he was affected.

"Why did you do it? Why did you use Kawarimi and swap with me even though you could have just escaped? You could have died."

Naruto smiled at him.

"When I look at Iruka, I feel like that is what having a father is like. And when I look at you, I feel like that is what having a brother feels like."

Sasuke could not believe it. Naruto thought of him as a brother too.

"Cause I am your brother. And I will get strong enough to protect you and everyone in the village. That is my nindo."

Sasuke pulled out a kunai and cut his palm. Naruto smiled.

"Dynamic Entry."

Both turned to the voice and saw Jiraiya get kicked by Gai. Gai landed as he looked at Jiraiya.

"Oh no. Sorry for the direct attack. I was in a rush with using my forehead protector as a mirror and did not mean it. The forehead protector did not give a clear picture. And so I hit your face by Accident."

Jiraiya wondered if Gai was telling the truth or not. But he had to listen to him.

"Sasuke, go back to the Village with Gai."

Sasuke nodded as he left with Gai. Jiraiya helped Naruto to bed as he thought Naruto needed rest.

Next Day…

"Ok, time to train."

Naruto could not help but smile. This was the second time that he learnt from a teacher. Until this date he had just learnt Tree Climbing from Kakashi. He had learnt Water Walking on instinct and he had read the books and used the Shadow Clone to train other jutsu. Jiraiya saw Naruto smile.

"What is it now?"

"No. It is nothing. It is just that this is the second time someone helped me and I did not have to figure things out by myself. It was hard to create Raikiri after seeing Kakahsi stab it through Zabuza."

Jiraiya smiled.

"Anyway, we are now going to be training to have you develop and Ultimate Ninjutsu to call your own. A Jutsu superior to even Rasengan. I doubt it will take long for you but we are going to do what your father and Kakashi wanted. Kakashi tried and failed, resulting in Chidori's Creation."

Naruto realised why his Raikiri was so much different then Sasuke's Chidori. It was because Sasuke was basically using a Failed Rasengan while Naruto was using Chakra Scalpels with Lightning Chakra.

"But for that we will need to know your Nature Affinity. You know what the Five Chakra Natures are. Let's just check your affinity."

Jiraiya pulled out a Square Chakra Litmus Paper and sent his Chakra through it. The Paper was cut in two pieces, cleanly.

"It seems your Affinity was Wind. Let's start your advanced Chakra Control Exercise to make full use of your Chakra Nature. Doton: Doryūheki."

Jiraiya slammed his hand onto the ground as he formed a Wall.

"Suiton: Takitsubo no Jutsu."

Jiraiya then formed a pond and let the water fall off the wall, creating a Waterfall. He then jumped off the wall and Landed before Naruto.

"How many Clones can you make?"

Naruto did not respond with words but instead with action and created about ten thousand shadow clones.

"Now pick one Leaf each and use your chakra to cut it."

Few Minutes later…

"Are you not going overboard now? Now stop and let's go to the next step."

Jiraiya had never seen anyone be as good as Naruto in learning things. He had mastered Cutting Leaf using Chakra in a matter of seconds and had started to proceed to cut rocks with it. Naruto stopped cutting the Rocks and turned to Jiraiya.

"So what are we gonna do next?"

Jiraiya pointed at the Waterfall he had created.

"This time you are going to cut a waterfall."

Naruto smiled. But he did not want to train right now. He had a question and he was sure that Jiraiya had the answer.

"Itachi and Kisame, what are they after me for? You know, don't you?"

"Those guys are not after you. But they are after what is inside you. The reason why they are after you is not known by me. But I believe it is to find a way to harness and control its power. They are from a Organization named Akatsuki. And it is made up of 10 S-Rank Missing Nins."

Naruto's eyes widened. Ten People just as strong as Itachi.

"Okay. Let's hurry up and find Tsunade. We should focus on that as it is what is important right now."

Jiraiya smiled. He pulled the bag that he had brought out and pulled out a popsicle and broke it in two. He handed one to Naruto. Naruto smiled as he took it.

"You are right. But we should rest for some time too."

Sometimes later,

Orochimaru's Base,

Otogakure…

"Ahhh. My Arms. Why does it still hurt?"

Orochimaru had gotten a Hand using Hashirama Cells but Naruto had used the Kyuubi's Chakra in the attack and Orochimaru was damage in Cellular level. And as such the Chakra Pathway in the Hand did not connect with rushed in with a bottle in his hand.

"Orochimaru-sama. Take the medicine quickly."

Orochimaru took the medicine before spitting it out with blood.

"I don't need that kind of medicine. The Burning Pain in this arm. I never expected it to be this much. First Minato stole my opportunity of being the Yondaime Hokage and now his brat stole my arms. Did you find her?"

Kabuto nodded.

"Yes. It seems that she is at a place called Tanzaku-Gai."

Orochimaru smiled. Tsunade was the only one that could heal and join his Chakra Pathway with the Hand's Chakra Pathway. She was the only one skilled enough to do it.

Sometimes later…

"Hey, where is the castle? What happened here?"

Naruto and Jiraiya had heard that there was a Castle that was worth visiting in Tanzaku-Gai. But there was nothing here. Their attention was then focused on the man that was running away.

"Hey you over there. What the hell happened here?"

"You guys should run away too. There is a demon beast up there. A Huge Demon Snake toppled the building instantly."

The man ran away. Jiraiya and Naruto turned to each other. Was this the same Snake as the one they were thinking about? Jiraiya and Naruto ran up towards the wreckage of the castle and saw that they had just missed both Orochimaru and Tsunade. It seems that they would have to gather more information.

Sometimes later…

"Information is always found at places like this, dumbass."

Naruto did not know whether to trust Jiraiya or not. Sometimes he spoke facts but mostly he spoke bullshit. Jiraiya stopped as soon as he entered. Naruto followed Jiraiya's gaze and saw Tsunade. He pulled out her picture and saw that she still looked the same.

"Tsunade."

"Jiraiya. Why are you at a place like this?"

Jiraiya and Naruto sat at the seat before Tsunade and Shizune. They ordered food and started talking to each other.

"I met someone that brings back bad memories."

Jiraiya knew who Tsunade was talking about.

"You met Orochimaru. Did anything happen?"

Shizune turned to Tsunade and Tsunade gave a dark look. Naruto noticed this and he was sure that Jiraiya saw that too.

"Nothing much. Just a little greeting. You too. Why did you come to see me?"

Jiraiya stared at her for a while.

"To tell you the truth the Village of the Leaf has issued a request for you to be the Godaime Hokage."

Tsunade and Shizune's eyes widened. Tsunade then looked at Naruto.

"Who is the boy?"

Jiraiya smiled.

"He is Naruto Uzumaki. So are you willing to accept?"

Tsunade had a sad look. It seemed that she was thinking something else.

"I decline."

Jiraiya was surprised but he should not be. He smiled.

"I remember in the past you saying the same thing when I asked you out."

Tsunade looked at Naruto for a while.

"This boy is just like your last student. He managed to be the Yondaime Hokage. But even he died quickly. He gave up his life for his village. Life is different from money. It can't be gambled that easily. Whoever puts it at risk so easily is a fool. My grandfather and my granduncle focused too much on bringing peace to our hoe, more than anything else but as a result, they just died in the middle of their dreams, like the losers."

Naruto felt anger rise up but held himself.

"You have changed a lot, Tsunade. I don;t know what you have been thinking all this time, but you have just said all that's on your mind."

Tsunade scoffed.

"I am already in my Fifties and age changes people. Being Hokage is shit. No one but a fool would do it."

Naruto could not control himself. He jumped and spinned as he kicked Tsunade in her face. Tsunade raised her hands and blocked the kick. Tsunade grabbed his leg and threw him outside through the wall. Tsunade walked out.

"I have been one of the three legendary ninjas for a long time.I don't even have to be serious to fight the little boy. One finger should be enough."

Naruto stood up.

"If I win, then you will be coming with us to Konoha and becoming the Fifth Hokage."

Tsunade scoffed. The boy thought he could defeat her. But to her surprise, Naruto appeared before her and punched. Tsunade dodged the punch. Naruto jumped as he kicked at her. Tsunade dodged the first kick but she did not dodge the second kick.

But it did nothing to her as she grabbed Naruto's foot and tried to Slam Naruto into the ground. Naruto spinned around as he kicked Tsunade showed no reaction. She just threw him away. Naruto stood up and smiled.

"You used more than just one finger. So I won."

"Hey, kid. I will ask you one thing before I agree to return. Why did you get angry when I spoke about not being Hokage?"

"Unlike you, I want to be Hokage because it is my dream to be Hokage."

Tsunade's eyes widened as she saw Dan and Nawaki in Naruto. Maybe he would succeed them. Maybe he was the one that would accomplish their dream. She took off her Necklace and handed it to Naruto.

"Take that. It is the Shodaime's Necklace. It is a gift for you. Wait for a week, then we can return. Let me enjoy the last freedom I get."

Sometimes later…

"I am sorry for disturbing your training. But there is something I have to tell you."

One Naruto jumped down as the rest of them continued to cut the Waterfall. Naruto had perfected it. And he was now ready for the next step. But Jiraiya was nowhere to be seen, so Naruto decided to perfect it further.

"Why are you here at such a time? You should go and sleep."

Shizune looked down.

"I don't want you to misunderstand Tsunade. And please return the Necklace to Tsunade."

Naruto looked at the Necklace.

"Why should I? Ba-chan gave it to me. Now it is mine."

"Tsunade-sama was not always like this. She used to have a Caring Heart that loved the Village but it all changed that day. To Tsunade-sama, that necklace is just as important to her as her own life id. It is not something that should be Carelessly bet on. It is Cursed. It does not acknowledge anyone but Tsunade. Anyone else that has the Necklace will die."

So the Necklace was cursed. Not likely as his Kenbunshoku would have been able to pick on it being cursed. So it was not cursed.

"We will see. If it is Cursed and I do die, then you can take it from my Dead Body. Till then, this is mine. Now I get lost as I am going to train."

Shizune sighed. It seemed hopeless. She left.

Naruto wondered what he had to do now. He thought back to what Jiraiya had made him do till this date. So that meant that he had to add his Wind Affinity into the Rasengan. Well, that would take some time.

Some Days later…

"What are you doing sleeping in my bed?"

Shizune woke up in a hurry. Tsunade had knocked her out and gone to meet Orochimaru alone. She looked at Naruto. She was not sure if he would ever survive a meeting with Orochimaru. So she had to go by herself. As she was about to jump out, Jiraiya came in.

"Wait, Shizune. Tsunade put a Drug in my Sake. I can not release Chakra well and my whole body stings. I can't even hold chopsticks. But the thing I want to know is what Orochimaru told Tsunade."

"I will explain on the way."

Sometimes later,

Somewhere else…

"Don't think with that level of Technique, you will be able to defeat me. You are afraid of blood, right? I will show you some now. I will scatter just enough blood until you are at the brink of death."

Kabuto ran at Tsunade, a Chakra Scalpel ready to pierce her. Tsunade could not move her body as Kabuto had cut her muscle.

"Renewal Style Taekwondo : Baekdu."

Naruto slammed his knee into Kabuto's face and launched him away. Kabuto got up as he smiled looking at Naruto. Tsunade rushed at Kabuto to punch him. But Kabuto cut his wrist and tossed the blood at Tsunade.

Tsunade got frozen after seeing the blood. Kabuto punched her. But Naruto used Kawarimi and swapped with Tsunade.

"Kishimoto-di Style Karate : Mikazuki Geri."

Naruto hit a Crescent Kick as he was hit by Kabuto. Both of them got launched away. Kabuto got up with a Angry face.

"I will kill you."

Orochimaru landed beside him and stopped him. Kabuto pulled out a pill and ate it, stopping the blood flowing from his wrist.

"Please take off the left bandage, Orochimaru-sama."

Orochimaru took off the Bandage to show a Weird Tattoo. Kabuto put some of his blood on his finger and swiped at the Tattoo. Jiraiya understood as he bit his finger, Kabuto and Jiraiya slammed their hands on the ground. There was a puff of smoke.

When the smoke cleared, Kabuto and Orochimaru were on top of two headed snakes. But Jiraiya had summoned Gamakichi. And he was small. Naruto could summon Gamabunta too. But he decided to do something else as this was the perfect chance to test it out.

"Kage Bunshin no Jutsu."

Naruto formed a Clone as he could not perform this technique without a clone yet. Naruto formed a Rasengan as the Clone began adding Wind Chakra. Soon the Rasengan expanded as blades formed around it, making it look like a Shuriken.

"Futon : Rasenshuriken."

Orochimaru's eyes widened as he jumped off the Snake. Kabuto followed him. Both of them landed as they saw the attack hit the Snake and explode. The Snake disappeared in a puff of smoke.

Jiraiya smiled. It seemed that Naruto had completed the technique. Jiraiya jumped at Orochimaru as Shziune went for Kabuto. Naruto decided he would go help Tsunade.

"What are you doing? What would that die for you say? Just because someone died, you are scared of blood. Death is a natural thing. What would they say if they saw you like this? Remember their words. And if you can, join the fight."

Naruto rushed at Kabuto as he saw that Shizune would get overwhelmed. He formed a Rasengan and slammed it into Kabuto. Kabuto was launched away but he coated the area with Chakra and minimised the Impact. He then proceeded to heal the injury from the attack.

Tsunade got motivated by Naruto's words and jumped at Orochimaru. Orochimaru jumped back when he realised that he could not take both of them on when he was in this state. Kabuto realised that his master was about to escape so jumped beside him.

"Even if you do not cooperate with me, Tsunade, there is still one more option left to heal my arm. I will surely kill you Naruto before destroying Konoha. Till we meet again, my friends."

Some Days later,

Konoha…

"This Village has changed quite a bit while it is gone. Starting today, the village is my responsibility as the Fifth Hokage."

Jiraiya, Naruto and Hiruzen were looking from far away. Hiruzen smiled at Naruto.

"It was a good decision to send you along with Jiraiya. If Jiraiya had gone alone, she would have probably ran away. Now, follow me, Naruto. Jiraiya will take Tsunade to Kakashi and Gai. Someone wants to see you."

Naruto followed Hiruzen to a Training Ground. Hiruzen performed Summoning and summoned Enma.

"Ah, I wanted to see you, Brat. It was more of Hiruzen's idea."

Enma dropped a Scroll. Naruto recognised it. It was similar to the Toad Summoning Contract. That meant this was the Monkey Summoning Contract.

"I thought only member of Sarutobi Clan can sign this."

Hiruzen made no nod.

"On the Contrary, only the Sarutobi Clan have been accepted to sign this. Asuma refused and I doubt I will be alive to teach it to Konohamaru. It will be your duty."

Enma unfurled the scroll. Naruto was hesitant but he bit his thumb and signed his name on it. Enma took it back.

"Why don't you try summoning a monkey once?"

Naruto bit his finger and did the summoning hand seals.

"Kuchiyose no jutsu : Saru."

When the smoke cleared, Enma was shocked.

"It has been a long time since I have come out of the Mountain of Flowers and Fruit. Who was the one that summoned me, Enma-chan."

Enma quickly bowed.

"It was our new Summoner. Hiruzen, Naruto,I present to you the Sage of Monkey Clan, Sun Wukong. He was the Monkey King, a long time ago and now is the Sage Equal to Heaven. He is the equivalent of Gamamaru of the Toad Clan and the Hakuja Senin of the Snake Clans."

Hiruzen was surprised as this was the first time he had met the Sage. He had heard about Gamamaru but this was the first time he met a Sage. Sun Wukong was riding a Cloud. He floated to Naruto as he stared into his eyes.

"So it is the Chosen One. It seems I am to help you on your Journey. Very well, you can summon for a fight. I will never leave my Summoner behind."

Enma was shocked as he had never heard of Sun Wukong accepting being summoned. There was only one time that he had been summoned and that was by a Priest named Tang Sanzang. So it seemed that even Sun Wukong found Naruto interesting.

Some Days later,

Naruto's Apartment…

"What is it?"

Naruto was woken up by a knock on the door. He walked up to the door and saw that it was Izumo. Izumo told him that the Hokage had an important mission for him. Naruto quickly got dressed and went to the Hokage's Office. He was shocked to see Tsunade with such a serious look.

"Late last night, Sasuke left our village. There is no doubt in our mind he is headed for the Sound Village because Orochimaru persuaded him. As such I am giving you the mission to bring him back. I would have sent a team of Jonin and Chunin but they are currently all on a mission. Take a team of Genin."

Naruto was shocked.

"I will go alone. Just send me back up as soon as you can."

Naruto just zoomed out of the Window. He would have to intercept them as fast as he could. He flew as he used Ken as he felt the presence of four people. It seemed that Orochimaru had underestimated and sent only four people. He landed in front of them.

"Doton Kekkai: Dorō Dōmu."

Jirobo slammed his palm into the ground and the earth began to break and formed a dome around Naruto. Naruto tried to use Kawarimi but his Chakra was disrupted. So it seemed that the Dome absorbed Chakra.

But Naruto had learnt techniques that did not require Chakra to be used. He focused his Spiritual Energy into his head as it shone black.

"Hasshoken Ogi: Mukiryu Mukirikugi."

Naruto head butted the wall. Jirobo was surprised as the dome split apart and so did the earth below him as he was hit by the shockwave and sent flying.

"Doton: Doryō Dango."

Jirobo quickly got up as he lifted a huge mass of earth and then threw it at Naruto.

"Kyōmeisen."

Naruto slammed his palm into the Earth as he converted his chakra into soundwave and broke the Earth into Dirt by changing the Frequency.

Jirobo quickly dashed at Naruto, trying to grab him. But Naruto jumped and landed a roundhouse kick. Jirobo tumbelled until he hit a tree.

"Don't be so confident, trash."

Naruto was shocked as a chain of triangle-like markings started covering Jirobo and his Voice got stronger and Darker.

"Rakanken : Hōshō."

Jirobo appeared before Naruto and thrusted his palm forward. Naruto dodged but he knew the impact would be dangerous. He responded with a Lead Hook. But Jirobo tanked it. Jirobo slammed his palm into Naruto and Naruto skidded back.

"You are strong. But not strong enough to fight me."

It seemed Naruto was the one to underestimate Orochimaru's henchman. But he would show this guy how strong he was. Naruto was going to defeat Jirobo in the thing Jirobo prided, a battle of strength. Naruto coated his fist with Spiritual Energy or Busoshoku Haki as the users tend to call it. This increased his strength a lot. Even Jirobo felt the Change.

Naruto jumped and coated his legs in Buso as he spun around and landed a kick with his heels. Jirobo tried to stop it but it was too much for him. Jirobo shouted as his mohawk grew into a long spiky mane that reached his shoulders, his skin turned into brownish-reddish colour, gains yellow eye irises with dark black eye sclera and he had various warts all over his body — especially on his face, shoulders and forehead.

"What a pity. I had to use Curse Stage 2."

Naurot felt Jirobo's Voice get stronger and Darker. But that still did not mean that Jirobo was stronger than Naruto as Jirobo still could not stop Naruto's kick and was sent flying.

"Rakanken : Gangeki."

Naruto grabbed his fist.

"Judo : Seoi nage."

Naruto pulled Jirobo's fist as he pushed him with his back and slammed him into the ground. Naruto then punched him in his nose, knocking him out. Jirobo was knocked out of his Cursed Seal Stage. Naruto tied him up as he flew towards where the others had gone. Soon enough, Naruto had caught up to the Sound Four.

"Let me handle him, you guys go ahead. Kumo Shibari."

Kidomaru turned around as he spit spider webs as Naruto was hit with and was flung into a tree. The spider stuck him to a tree.

"Raikiri."

Naruto cut the Spider Web as he dashed at Kidomaru.

"Kumosōkai."

Kidomaru jumped off the branch he was standing on as he gathered web in his hands and threw it as it expanded and covered the whole area.

"Hakkeshō Kaiten."

Naruto spun around as he expelled Chakra from his body and spun, untangling him from the Spider Webs.

"Kumo Nenkin."

Kidomaru produced golden coloured webs and formed scythe out of it. The Golden Web instantly solidified. He threw all of the Scythe at the same time at Naruto. Naruto smirked as he used Kawarimi and swapped with Kidomaru.

Kidomaru was surprised as he saw his one attack come at him. Kidomaru produced String and tossed the scythe at each other and scattered them. Kidomaru was surprised as Naruto appeared before him and hit him with an inward roundhouse kick.

But Kidomaru produced Golden Web from his Sweat Pores and made a Golden Web Armour. Kidomaru stared at Naruto for some time before he disappeared into the woods. Kidomaru threw many Shurikens at Naruto from every angle he could. But when he blinked, he was standing where Naruto was standing before. He was shocked as that was not what he had expected.

"Fine. I must admit this game is pretty difficult to beat. I will play seriously."

Kidomaru was covered with twisted, entwining lines. Kidomaru looked around wildly as he looked for Naruto.

"Doton: Shinjū Zanshu no Jutsu."

Kidomaru was shocked as he was pulled into the earth. He decided to use Curse Seal Stage 2. His skin became dark red, he gained yellow irides with dark black sclerae, elongated canine teeth and fingernails, as well as his hair became longer and turned grey.

He pulled himself out of the earth. He felt Naruto and made a Bow and shot an arrow at Naruto. The Arrow hit Naruto. Kidomaru smirked as he had just won against Naruto. But Naruto smirked as he disappeared into Crows.

"Tenkū Pekeji Ken."

Kidomaru looked up as Naruto dived at him from the sky, his hand in a cross. His hand was glowing. Kidomaru produced a Bow and Arrow and shot it at Naruto. But the Arrow scattered on hitting Naruto as Naruto hit Kidomaru. Naruto stood up as he tied Kidomaru and flew towards the others.

Sametime,

Orochimaru's Base,

Otogakure…

"It was as you thought, Orochimaru-sama. Naruto came to take Sasuke back alone."

Orochimaru smiled. He stood up.
